How many years can one exist in a loveless marriage before cracking? It's been no less than 6 years where the love we once had is completely gone. Over 3 years since any attempt was made to be close. There is no communication between us any longer, atleast the kind that married couples should share. There has been no abuse from either one of us. Okay so we are a young married couple (22 and 23) and we have been married for 1 year. I really love him and im in need of some advice from an outside source. My husband is in the miltary and ever since he's been home from his 9 month deployment it hasnt been the same. He now prioritizes his time with his friends over me. His mother is recently ill. We started talking how hospitals will get the patient out as soon as possible. I realize he is stressed about his mother's heart condition. Last year I needed medical attention to correct my breathing problem that had gotten worse. It was outpatient and they do not keep you in a hospital. I went to the hotel to recover and then see the doctor the next day. All of a sudden my fiance remembered my surgery and going to the hotel afterwards. He said I should have been in a hospital for an overnight stay and not in a hotel. Then he ranted on that I should not have anything else done to myself and that I am fine the way I am (I had mentioned plastic surgery for my neck, which is really sagging due to a lot of weight loss). He said this last surgery I self-mutilated myself with this surgery--which did not make "any sense at all." I had the surgery to make me breath better. The results were very good. What bothers me is that he is basically telling me what to do with my body and if I have a surgery, which doesn't meet his approval (I suppose plastic surgery), he won't support me and be there for me. And we will make any future surgeries together and hear each opinions out. But his reaction was not normal, but I think it's due to the stress of his mother being ill.

Me and my ex share 2 daughters so we still communicate with each other. Today is her birthday. This is the first birthday after our divorce. I used to wait for this day to make her something special. Last year I did her a nice video, and also printed many photos of us and put them on our bed, and also bought her a fancy perfume. She is already married, is it ok to wish her happy birthday (as text or verbally) or that would be a lame thing to do? It feels little weird that how this day used to mean a lot to me, this day as well as our anniversary day, but now I am trying to make this day become as any other day.

In my situation my girlfriend and I are planning on moving in together and I want for us to eventually get married and have our own life together. I contribute $400 a month and he puts in about $100 a month because he says he has bills to pay so he can't put that much in. I believed him. Found out he has a separate bank account and that's the account he uses to purches in game items. He keeps throwing things in my face as if he's trying to justify what he's doing is ok. I feel heart broken, deceived, and sick to my stomach over his actions. So now I'm trying to figure out what a reasonable anount per months is to spend on a game.
