Question: How do I get over the pain of not being my best friends Dama? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 05:50 PM PDT My best friend had a Quince but she had two Damas and wanted to make sure they knew each other and I don't go to there school but I knew one of them ( she didn't kmow that). I wasn't a Dama, were best friends , sisters , and we tell each other things we don't tell other people. I was hurt to find out that I wasn't a dama, and she said I had a more important part. Then when it came to the party everything happened so fast she forgot. Any idea how I can let that pain go and the jealousy? Please and thank you. |

Question: Condescending people - how do i handle her? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 04:32 PM PDT so i'm new to college and most people knew each other before i got there, anyway i've found a group of friends who i sit with at lunch and everything but there's a girl there and i cant tell if shes being condescending or just trying to be nice. she one of those people who just always seem to be giving a presentation and cant just chill out, but basically everytime we have group work or anything, as i'm within the friend group its unspoken but obvious i'm in their team and i'll even be sitting with them giving input and everythings fine then out of nowhere she'll be like "oh yeah you can be in are group if you want" as if i wasnt for the past month and a half. am i being crazy and letting my anxiety get to me or is she trying to make me feel like i'm only there cause she's letting me? i feel like its a thing she does to make others feel less important, cause she called a guy in the group "what's his face" infront of everyone when it obvious there is no way she would forget his name after hanging out with him for a month. if im not crazy how do i handle this without creating a lot of unnecessary drama? |
Question: Not wanting to buy a Bday gift for my friend? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 04:19 PM PDT My birthday passed and my best friend didn't even say anything or give me anything yet the other day she mentioned her bday was near by (WHICH IS IN ******* DECEMBER) I was pissed because my bday was literally 6 days ago and yet she's already suggesting for me to get her a gift. Plus, she doesn't even appreciate me. She's always excited to see her other friends and they talk privately in front me and she also sometimes ignores me when I ask them stuff. Deep down I feel like the friendship is one-sided and I don't want to get her anything anymore. Also, she gave me **** she didn't want last Christmas. Last year, she was a month late to give my bday gift. She doesn't even care about me and is quick to leave me alone if she's gotta do something else. And I've been friends with her for years so yeah she KNOWS when my bday is. She forgot this year (my other best friend told her later on I'm guessing) but I'm mad how she's quick to forget about my bday yet talk about hers. |
Question: One sided friendship? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 04:11 PM PDT I'm in highschool right now and I've been best friends with this girl since middleschool. Overtime she's gotten closer to this other girl (who is "second" best friend only because of my best friend) and deep down I felt jealous but I didn't really show it or say anything. So our bond got weaker and I was just thinking how I put so much effort into the relationship (for a pretty long time) but she doesn't even care for me as much. So that made me realize I have no real friends in highschool (either no one cares/likes/knows me in highschool). So yea I'm pretty sad everyday I go to school since the only people that I talk to (or willing to talk to me) are those two best friends. No other people approach me or is comfortable talking to me if I approach them. |
Question: I feel like I'm forcing this man to have sex with me? Should I stop talking to him? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 03:51 PM PDT I'm 30 and I've been hooking up with this 43 year old guy since 2015 (we are not in a relationship). When we first started talking he told me he didn't have anything to offer me. I didn't really care at the time because I thought it would be a one time hookup. We have only hooked up three times since 2015 and we live in different states. The last time I saw him was in July. I asked him if I could come see him again. Like if we can meet up and have sex again and he said yes. I told him I would help him out financially for sex since he is currently going through a hard time and is living out of his car. I like spending time with him and I like the sex. He's been sending me videos of him masturbating because I asked him. |
Question: How can I be an interesting teenager? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 03:19 PM PDT So, according to my peers, I'm boring. Personally, I consider myself an interesting person, but people at my school-and my social life-say otherwise. Now, I know changing yourself is bad an all that, but I don't intend to, because the way I see it, there's no point in doing something that I don't enjoy. However, I definitely feel that if I was considered more interesting, I might catch the attention of this girl I like. But, I'm not sure exactly what to do. I'm pretty friendly with most people, but the key word is friendly, as in I don't really know anybody that well. I'm involved in a couple clubs. I dress nice. I speak up in class. What are some ways to become interesting? How so, Gary? I actually think a big part of me being considered boring is that I enjoy talking about topics most people don't know about-SpaceX, physics in general, or politics. |
Question: Where can I make new friends? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 03:16 PM PDT So I'm a 20 year old female and the last time I had friends was when I left school at 16, basically I suffered with depression so I isolated myself a lot (going home during lunch time for example as I lived near the college) and me and my friends were in different classes when we went to college so they thought I didn't want to hang out with them anymore, anyway my social anxiety has gotten worse in the process and I've found it very hard to make new friends. Now I want to try because I feel like such a loser at my age not having friends, especially when I've always had them. I'm not in education anymore and at work most of the people are much older than me. I want to start living my life again. Where can I find people that are around my age that I can make friends with? |
Question: Would it be weird to message an old friend who I've had no contact with since I was 11? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 02:59 PM PDT I had a friend at Kindercare named Zach. He's two years younger than me, and I had really looked forward to eventually going to the same high school as him, but that didn't happen because I moved. Now we're friends on Facebook, and I'd really like to talk to him because he's awesome (or at least he was when he was nine), but it's been nine years. I had to message him to remind him who I am because he didn't accept my friend request right away and I knew that he would've accepted it if he'd known it was me. Would it be okay to talk to him now, or would that be creepy? |

Question: All i want is to restart my life over from march 2015? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 01:36 PM PDT Since then so much crap has happened to me, I am 14 boy now and was almost 12 then, then, my main best friend turned against me and turned other people against me, and by 7th grade I had almost no friends until October 2016 when I finllay found a really good friend but, I cant help thinking about all of those months wasted on crap, I lost items at school that were close and important to me, I begun getting jealous of my main friend who as like so much tech stuff and isn't spoiled, insecure about things, I just want a time machine and to start all over again and make different decisions. |
Question: Did I say something that would permanently ruin a friendship? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 01:34 PM PDT This person stated that she saw me as a brother ( I don't have a crush on her so that was fine ) and everything. Last Friday we talked on the phone, we had a brief conversation. I may have misunderstood something and when I got off the phone I got a little mad. I was stressed out during last week and I should have waited until I was in a better emotional state before I got on the phone with anyone. I texted her " Hey I don't think we should stay in touch anymore, love you, wish you well, take care of yourself. I won't contact you anymore, please don't contact me. " I was not thinking clearly and it was very impulsive. Hour and a half later, she texted " ok '. Hour after that I regreted what I said, so I called, and left a text saying " I'm sorry what I said earlier I had issues during the week, and let my emotions get to me, and it had nothing to do with you, hopefully we can talk again at some point. " Didn't hear anything, so that Sunday, I called and left a voicemail saying " Hey I'm sorry again about the other day, I had other issues and I shouldn't have brought them on, if you get this, if you're up for it you can call back if you want, I guess I'll talk to you whenever I hear from you ". Still nothing, so Tuesday, I texted " Hey hope you are doing well. Uh I just wanted to ask, if you don't want to talk anymore, could you let me know, so I can just put this behind me? Again I am sorry. What I said was impulsive and I didn't think before sending it, and I didn't mean it Still didn't hear anything, I cant reachout anymore. Shes never ignored me befor, but I cant see how what I said would cause her to ignore me. I don't think her feelings are that hurt, or are they? Do you think she'll come around? |
Question: Is it normal to feel angry at a person who doesn't put effort into being friends? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 01:17 PM PDT I thought we could be great friends. At work, she and I had a particular energy around each other. We'd joke and banter. But this was just at work. She seems to have deleted my phone number - texted me "who's this?" and we haven't texted since...in two months. We haven't hung out. She leaves without saying bye. She still says "you know I love you" after playfully making some joke about me being a btch or an ahole. But that's it now. She invited me to a couple things in the past but I didn't go...so we haven't hung out. She never asks about me, about how I'm doing, etc. That's the extent of the friendship. We hardly ever work together anymore and she seems to be in a hurry to get out, almost always about the time that I'm arriving. This week, I was bent over and stood up just as she was passing by me wordlessly to head out. So it seems obvious to me she doesn't want to be friends and doesn't care about me. I want to feel irritated and frustrated...and I don't want to talk with her. Yes I'm butthurt. I somehow want to talk to her about this but then it'd come across as needy and too thought out. Meanwhile, I just give a short, cold "hello" and continue on. And the fact that she doesn't even ask what's going on.... irritates me more. I've been focused on school and feel too tired to put forth any more effort in being friends with her... Just walk away from this? |

Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:50 PM PDT does it mean he's just looking at me since he knows or does he actually like me back? He looks at me every time he sees me in the hallways and stuff. He's somewhat shy and and when I look at him, he doesnt look away |
Question: Should I contact an old friend that I haven't spoken with or seen in 15 years? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:35 PM PDT The last things said were (her) "you know you love me", (me) "no, you've got it all wrong. I gotta go bye" |
Question: What should I do if my best friend makes fun of my anxiety? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:04 PM PDT A few weeks ago, my friend and I were going to homecoming. A couple of hours before the dance started, we were trying to think of places to eat. Her texts were vague and the plan was not mutually understood, so I started getting nervous and told her that I just wanted to skip dinner altogether. I did so in a long, end-of-the world-sounding text (which is my usual response to any small level of stress). Homecoming took place on Saturday. Three days after I sent her that text, on Tuesday, she brought the whole thing up as a sort of "story time" in front of all of our other friends. I started laughing at first because the story started with, "Here's how (my name) literally ruined my entire Saturday. She had me ****** up!" Everyone at the table was laughing, including me. She pulled out her phone to read the text because I jokingly argued, "you had ME ****** up. Your texts were super vague." She started reading off the texts to my friends to see if they understood the plans she made on Saturday. Then, she got to my end-of-the-world, overreaction text. I was hoping to God that she wouldn't read this text aloud, or even mention it at all, as I'm really embarrassed about my anxiety. She did, though. She read it in front of all of my friends in a whiny voice, as if she were mimicking me. I've known her for 5 years, but this whole thing really bugs me. I'm still thinking about it and I can barely hold a conversation with her now because I'm too embarrassed and angry to talk to her. |
Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:00 PM PDT I helped this man countless times when he was in need financially never hurt him. I admit not perfect got drunk and said things I regret. But he hit me kick me in my stomach took my iPhones and sold them. He cuss and insulted me all because I said some things that I didn't like about him and yes I insulted his family by saying they weren't ****. Anyone can tell me how I get revenge on a man that hurt so bad when all I did was help him? |
Question: I dont think my friend likes me anymore? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 11:35 AM PDT So i am really good friends with someone, we get along great, we havent ever really fought but now i feel like she doesnt like me and may be embarrassed to be my friend. Last year we hung out all the time, we were great friends and she would talk to me. Now, this year we started off being great friends except she wouldnt talk to me around her other friends or even smile or wave hi. We have seminar together and she talks to me there but lately this past week she hasnt been talking to me during theatre or algebra. In algebra our assigned seats are next to each other and we were partners for a lot of things but today i looked at her wanting to be partners and she immediately turned away to be in a group with somebody else. Also when she went to talk to my group she only talked to our other friend and I tried to talk to her but i only got short responses. Also in theatre she doesn't sit next to me anymore and doesn't seem to want to be in groups with me anymore. Help? |
Question: Why is she still my friend???? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 11:32 AM PDT I've had a close friend for the past 3 years, and I can't understand how she still my friend. I can be super clingy with her and she even tells me she needs to breathe, i've told her a lot of dark things about my past and she doesn't judge me. I even have a lot of anger problems but I always treat her with respect. She told me last night that she will always be my friend, i've never had anyone like that in my life. Why does she want to stay in my life????? |
Question: Is it selfish to not want to studying with my friend? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 11:27 AM PDT I'm in college and have a close friend. Thing is we had the same professor and she would cheat. I used to tutor and study with her but it's like I was doing all the work, she doesn't read or bring anything to the table. And it would take so long I didn't have time to study myself since the program is so intensed and fast paced. I work, raise my nephew and have house work to do. She just have school. Her Mom pays her bills and help her with her daughter. Now she's failed two tests. She's been asking me to study with her and my teacher said we should. But I don't like it and this is one thing ( college) I'm doing for me. I feel terrible somehow and like it'll be my fault if she fails. |

She doesnt have her license so her mom has to drive her. Problem is, she sleeps over for three days and two nights. I m an introvert so I need my time alone, usually that s on the weekends. I just feel so drained when shes over or when I m over. Also, I usually buy her meals and I don t get paid back. She s not that clean and her whole house smells "sticky" and like dirty water. My room has to be aired out and I can t stand it. Help! |
Question: I really want to take a year off from studies and work.? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 11:20 AM PDT I feel I worked too hard and I'd really like to take a year off next year or say at least half a year off from graduate school and a full time job. I really want to spend more time with friends and family. I've been missing out many family reunions and friends gathering... What do you suggest me to do meanwhile? I plan to get a part time job or do some freelancing, travel, learn a new language, learn a new sport, catch up on readings that I actually enjoy, but what else? I still wanna keep myself occupied. |

Posted: 13 Oct 2017 08:54 AM PDT Me and my friend and this guy had won these shirts that come in white or blue.we had a choice to choose and this guy kept saying how he wanted the blue one and that the green and white ones were ugly. When we got to finally choose we were in order, my friend went first he went second and I went third: My friend: I want the white one Him: I want the blue one Me: I want the blue one Him: oh nvm I want the white one Everyone was confused why he changed it. He kept bragging about how he wanted the blue one but changed it when I chose it too and chose what my friend wanted. I know it's not a big deal but just wondering. I meant the choices were white green and blue This isnt the first time this happened but people change their choices when i get the same thing as them. will change it and choose what somebody else have |
Question: Why my classmate girl don't react when my leg rubbed her leg? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 08:54 AM PDT |
Question: Am I wrong for this ? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 08:51 AM PDT I used to have feelings for this girl a few years ago. We ended up sleeping together and soon after, I told her I wasn't ready for a relationship, so we remained friends and she moved on and dated other people. She happened to be in town for work last week and I asked her if we could have dinner. She said no, but maybe coffee and just a chat to catch up would be nice. So I agreed and I guess I expected more. Before it was time for her to leave, I gave her a hug and tried to kiss her. She said, "um what are you doing?" I told her I still cared about her. She said, "that's nice. I care for you too. But you should know that I am seeing someone now and this feels highly inappropriate" I tried to kiss her again and she told me to stop and then left. I've been texting her ever since and she won't respond. Did I do something wrong? If so, what ? |

Question: Am I a horrible person for this.? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 08:18 AM PDT Well I'm 19 and have been out of a job for about 7 months now. I live with my roomates one which is my best friend from high school and the other we met at work when i was working. I feel like I'm freeloading and well it makes me upset everyday. I've tried everywhere in walking distance and sadly i cant find a job. But now my friends are basically paying for my rent half. To me that feels even worse living in a house you no longer pay for. And well it makes me feel like I'm also a horrible friend to let them do that for me. I just dont know what to do.... |
Question: Why is my roommate such a b***h? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 08:09 AM PDT Me and my roommate live in a two bedroom apartment, we each have our own bedroom. We're both young and 19 years old. He doesn't want me having sex while he's there. But if I have sex I'm obviously going to be having sex in my bedroom with the door closed so at that point why would it concern him? My bedroom is my privacy I can do whatever I want in my bedroom, is jealous of the fact that I'm getting pussy? What is his deal? We just moved in the apartment about a month ago |
Question: Rude/high-strung roommates, what to do? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 07:28 AM PDT I just moved to a new city about 5 months ago, and found a cheap room in a great house in the middle of the city (right where I wanted to be). I moved in with two girls who have been friends for a while. They're both older than me, (I'm 23, they're 31 and 33). Now, I'm not your typical 23 year old. I don't party much, am completely financially independent with a great job, and I feel like I'm very mature for my age and am a great roommate. I clean after myself and go above and beyond when I have the time. BUT there's a weird dynamic in the house because of the two of them being friends for so long before I came along. They have kind of decided that just because of my age, they can't hang out with me (which is incredibly stupid). They are very petty in day-to-day things around the house. For example, if there are dishes in the sink, they will only do theirs. They won't touch anybody else's but their own or each other's. If I have a bowl in the sink, they will let it sit there rather than just clean it with the rest of the dishes. They keep track of it. It's ridiculous. When I do dishes, I just do everything in the sink. I can't tell you how many times I've done their dishes but still, they won't touch mine if I have a single dish in the sink. They are condescending to me regularly; it's okay for them to come and talk to me about their problems but if I bring something similar up, they react as if they're talking to a child. It's extremely frustrating. One of my roommates will actually take my things from around the house that aren't out of place, and put them on my bed in my bedroom. For instance, I have a decorative crystal that I like to keep next to my fruit basket in the kitchen. It looks nice and doesn't hurt anybody. The one roommate has taken it from its place on MY section of the counter numerous times and placed it on my bed, as if to say "keep this in your room where it belongs." It's petty bullshit and I'm tired of it. They hang out together regularly but don't include me. For instance, we all might be sitting in the living room, and they will decide that they are going to go down the street and grab dinner, but will blatantly not invite me even though they're aware that I haven't eaten either. I've never done anything or given them any reason to dislike me and I have been a perfect roommate... I'm over it. What the hell do I do? The house and location are great, it's an otherwise wonderful living situation... But I'm not going to continue to live with two people who treat me like a child. If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't have moved out of my parents house at 17. Most of my friends are 29 or older... It just feels absolutely ridiculous to live in a house where I'm being treated like a child by two people who are the same age as everyone else I hang out with regularly. They have no reason to act the way that they do. |

Question: What kind of person is this? Should I leave? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 07:17 AM PDT I have a friend who gets angry when I suggest hanging out together, and when I went question them they get angry again or lie to me and say nothing is wrong. They never share anything about themselves with me but with other people they are very different, are kind and never get angry. When I try to leave they desperately try to make me talk to them but carry this behavior on again. I have tried my best and for years they still don't let me in their life. |

Question: I feel like I'm forcing this man to have sex with me? Should I stop talking to him? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 06:27 AM PDT I'm 30 and I've been hooking up with this 43 year old guy since 2015 (we are not in a relationship). |
Question: How can I tell if this other boy likes me? Age 14 in high school.? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 05:41 AM PDT I'm 14 and I might be bi but I'm still confused. Not sure if I like this guy but I do think he's not half bad looking. I have PE and French with him. In PE we always play soccer with the same group of people. Nothing unusual ever happens. In French class we happened to get assigned seats diagonal from each other. In PE we exchange a few sentences every now and then. But in French class things get more confusing. He finds reasons to talk to me more. This guy, a girl and I are the top students in the class. I know he knows how to do the work but he'll still ask me questions I know he knows. We also have this kid that we mutually find annoying and he'll often say something about him to get me to laugh or react. He also stares a lot and when a catch him, he'll smile and look away or he'll maintain eye contact for a split second and smile. Very rarely does he quickly look away, but he does sometimes do that. So how so I know if he's into me or if he's just a friendly guy? I need guidance. |

Question: Vulgar gossipy woman at work? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 03:08 AM PDT Unfortunately where I work the boss hired a low class, vulgar woman on a temp contact that goes around talking about others and criticising others. She just annoys me with her stupidity. Is it best for me to just say hello and goodbye to her and no more when I am at work? Thanks for your advice! |
Question: My Friend Is Rude Because I’m Single? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:56 AM PDT my friend currently has a boyfriend and she's constantly using me being single as an insult. i told her she was being overly jealous and she told me "you'll understand once you're in a relationship." like i was so below her, it was scrutinizing. me and another friend were joking about going to a male strip club and she said "well i wouldn't go because i don't need to, i have a boyfriend." blah blah blah, so we told her it would just be for fun and it's not just for single people and she said "well i'm not single and lonely." we just kind of ignored her but lately she's been acting like she's better because she's in a relationship and it's really obnoxious. if i say something that suggests being in a relationship isn't necessarily better than being single, she hints that i'm jealous and "ill find someone one day". how can i get her to stop? |

Question: Do you think my friend should tie pigtails ( high ones ) ? Posted: 13 Oct 2017 12:26 AM PDT My friend is 16 , but she is very short , 148cm , 4 feet 10/11 . She weights 94.7 pounds . I would say she is really small and tiny . And many people around her always sort of 'protect' her and all . Now I am not jealous , but she always tie high pigtails . And I don't know if it's look good on her . Some people say it's look cute and nice on her , as she have a baby face , bangs , childish look and innocent personality . So , it's like all well matched . |

Question: Is she jealous of me? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 10:29 PM PDT BAD GRAMMAR WARNING! So there is this girl I have to know for about three years. When I first meet her she seemed nice. Then one day she said to me, "You're like Bob's prodigy. You just got here and I've been here for three years". I was like wow, okay. Then one day she was being a sore loser because we were playing mannequin and I caught her moving. Keep in mind we are in fact teenagers, at the time I was 16 and she was 14. Skip ahead. We never really talked much. I am a shy person and take a while to warm up so... One day I went to see a show. I did arrive an hour early (but it's okay because we both volunteer there) I get there and I'm like, "What time is it?" she's like, "7." I said, "Oh I'm early" She was like., "Yeah, really early." I left and cried in the car because it was a bit rude. Skip ahead. Last year she bought everyone a Christmas gift but me. I made everyone (including her) A Christmas card. She lied to the 'Teacher" and Said, "Ya her's is coming in the mail". I don't recall her excuse for not getting me a gift, I just know she never ordered anything because she made an excuse. Then one day we had to do Tech together and we seemed to be getting along well. All was well with tech and I thought maybe I was being dramatic and she liked me. As a friend, of course. Idk if this is necessary, but she is a Taurus and I am an Aquarius. Ik they don't really click but I'm trying. Skip ahead. So we had to pick actors for a play we were directing and she picked my favorite gal. Then I told my fav gal that I liked her sweater. I said it in a weird accent because I was trying to be funny. But I am shy so she did not hear me. But Jelly m' Taurus did hear me. She repeated the exact same thing I said to my fav gal but louder. So my fav gal, laughed. Even though it was my joke BTW! this is not about my fav gal. I'm just wondering if she is jealous of me. Also this guy she likes said something funny asf so I started laughing really hard. She gave me a Look. But like he's gay so wtf r u doing? Like he doesn't like you if he gay asf. plus he's 15 and i'm 18 so I have no interest She does not like hugs. One day she gave everyone a hug but me. Like she tried to but I wasn't in the right position so I tried to move and give her a hug. but when I turned around, she was gone. Then she came back to the new girl and said, "I don't really like to hug new people, but you seem nice so i'll give you a hug". Like wtf? Btw I've never done anything to hurt her. Like at all. She hurts me by being an ***. Are we like frenimes? I don't like that because if you don't like me, tell me. I don't have times to be friends with someone who doesn't like me. Are Taurus's prone to jealousy? i WISH i KNEW WHY SHE DOESN'T LIKE ME |
Question: How many people have the same mindset as me when it comes to drinking and smoking weed? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 10:15 PM PDT I'm a 19 year old girl. I've never taken a sip of alcohol or smoked weed in my entire life, and I'm 100 percent sure that I'll never do either. I know lots of people say they'll never drink or smoke and then end up eventually doing it anyway, but I promise I'm not one of them. I know for a fact that I'll never change my mind. I'm completely against drinking and smoking for thousands of reasons. I used to think that only a few people my age regularly got wasted, high, or both, but I've gotten older and since realized that literally everyone I know does it on a regular basis....even the kids who you'd never suspect. It makes me sad, because I feel like finding friends who don't drink or smoke is going to be next to impossible in this day and age. I don't even want friends who do it sometimes...I want friends who never do it at all. I'm not the annoying kind of person who goes around preaching to people about why they shouldn't drink or smoke — I understand that it's a normal thing, that it's their choice, and that there's nothing I can do to stop them so I just keep my mouth shut — but being around drunk/high people makes me feel SO uneasy and unsafe. I'm a normal 19 year old — I like to go out, date, have sex, all of that — but I hate drinking/smoking and I hate when other people do it. Are there any other teenagers/young adults out there who feel the same way or am I completely alone? |
Question: Can someone help me keep positive? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 10:13 PM PDT Basically am a transfer sophomore and I still feel my life is the same. Some improvements is I have some aqua rices who I hang with at times and eat lunch but I don't do anything at night. I only been drinking once but it wasn't really a party other than these frat guys playing drinking games with my roommate. But it is just hard to find out what I need to to do to keep happy. Friends to anything my heart is just so depressed. I still go home every weekend, well basically I mostly stay on fridays but leave On saturdays. I do sports and lifting and have joined clubs. I blame myself and I should even though I always feel people are just arrogant with me. |
Question: Does bullying happen as an adult vs. being a teenager? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 09:08 PM PDT Why does it happen if it does? |
Question: Is it odd that nine-and-a-half years doesn't seem like such a huge age difference to me? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 08:50 PM PDT I mean, I know it's a pretty big difference, but it doesn't really feel like it. I'm 20, and my friend Sam is almost 30. He is exactly nine years, six months, and 18 days older than me. But it doesn't really feel like a big age difference to me. We mainly instant message (we met online), but we've done a couple of video calls, so it isn't just because I can't see him. Maybe our common interests transcend age or something? I mean, we're both bronies (yes, female bronies like me are still called bronies) and we have the same list of favorites of the mane 6 and we're both into MBTI and we both like symphonic metal. We also both have the same personality type (INFP) and I have psychological issues that he used to have (depression and a Fi-Si loop). Or maybe I'm just used to being friends with people who are a lot older than me. I was a member of Bronies of Phoenix before I moved away last month, and the people there who I consider friends are ages 24, 27, 30, and 33. Really, I can only think of one time when I even noticed the age difference: when I showed him something funny I posted here on Y!A when I was 16 that he said he might have appreciated if he was a teenager. Is it odd that the age difference doesn't seem like a big deal to me? |
