Question: Does it make me selfish for not wanting kids? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 01:51 PM PDT I personally don't want kids. For many reasons, one being that my whole life has been a revolving door of kids. My mom was a foster parent; and my dad was always working; so, it's like she made me into the other parent. I couldn't be a normal kid. Always having to supervise the other kids, make them lunch, help them with their homework, etc. Not to mention I had 5 nieces and nephews. I also used to work with kids. Plus, my parents were also abusive. I have lots of trauma and psychological issues. I don't think I'm mentally fit to be a parent. I also don't want to raise kids in what this world is coming to. Also, financially and emotionally, it's hard enough just taking care of myself let alone anyone else. I prefer to marry someone else who doesn't want kids, travel, and enjoy life for once. I don't think everyone is meant to be a parent. I'm just honest with myself and self aware. People are telling me I'm just being bitter and selfish. Someone even said if I marry a man who doesn't want kids, that might mean he's irresponsible and probably has issues like me. It's not like I'm just going to marry someone who doesn't want kids with no regard for the kind of person they are. Nor do I think not wanting kids translates into being irresponsible. I'm a loving, hardworking, caring person. I just don't want the role of being a mother. I realize it's not to be taken lightly. Thoughts? |
Question: My fiance's ex wife and their kids.? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 01:23 PM PDT So my fiance has a ex wife and two beautiful girls. I have two boys from a previous relationship and we have one on the way. Now my problem is they didn't end on good terms at all and she still tries to know everything he is doing and tries to control everything when it comes to the girls even when it's our time to have them. She always being bossy and backing out on days we can have them. Now my issue is she wants to be a part of everything which I understand for the most part but I don't see why we have to have Holliday's with her over am I wrong? |
Question: Why does my mom still talk to my sister after this? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 12:18 PM PDT After her pittbull (that she couldn't afford to own) killed the family yorkie terrier (which we had for 16 years) why does my mom still communicate with her after this!? I cut her off |
Question: I'm not getting the answers I'm looking for ...? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 11:57 AM PDT My roommate, Sam, and I have known Jack and Mary since their children were little . We let their son, Devon, stay with us . He did some housework and a lot of cooking, so he's helped us out . We got into trouble for letting Devon stay with us, so he moved in with his brother's ex -- wife in another town . He stayed with her for a month and they had an argument, so he came back . Word's gotten around that he's back, so we might get into trouble for letting him stay with us again . He wants to get his own place . He's working steadily in a restaurant . He gets paid on the twenty -- second, and that's when he wants to move out . He got three days off, so he stayed with his friend, Larry . He came back on the evening of the third day . He'll get another three days off, and he's planning to stay with Larry . We might all be better off if he moved in with Larry . Sam and I like having Devon around, but part of me wishes he'd move in with Larry . I haven't said so because I can't make decisions for Larry or his apartment . Today, Mary called Sam and said Devon has to move in with Larry . It sounds like she's making decisions for Larry's place . I've known Devon since he was a little boy and I don't want to hurt his feelings . What do I tell Devon ? If he's going to get his own place on the on the twenty -- second, what does it matter where he stays for the next week ? Thank you in advance for your answers . |
Question: Should I do anything with my niece? How? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 10:56 AM PDT My brother died of cancer little less than 2 months ago, survied by a 20 year old daughtor (my niece) and wife. A few weeks after the death of my brother, my sister in-law told me that my niece is keeping her dad's cell phone and having the account access. She seems playing her dad's phone and her own phone at night, texting each other etc. Her mom and I agreed that we pretend we didn't know, believing that's the way she copes. We should let her be. Today, she posted something like "I don't like sorting messages, because some people just disappeared..." Then there is a "like" from my brother. I'm in tears. But more so, I wonder if I need to do something. The post included me, meaning she deliberately let me know. Is she asking for help? Is it good to talk it out with her? Should I let her be and let her come to her terms herself? Does she need professional help? |
Question: Are men intimidated by women who can fix things around the house? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 10:43 AM PDT I recently fixed my sister's toilet that had been broken for a couple of years. It works fine now but her husband is saying that it's still broken and keeps using a bucket of water to flush it. Everyone in the house says it works fine. |
Question: I think I’m attracted to my boss who might be gay? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 10:41 AM PDT Ok so I started a new job about 3 weeks ago and my boss has been very friendly to me and super cool I'm not sure if he's gay or not because he has a high pitched voice at times but he could be straight. Anyways I recently just got attracted to him I get nervous when he comes around and I think he can tell what should I do? |
Question: Girls here who've been with players, is it? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 09:08 AM PDT i'm thinking of being a player, in my high school they get all the cute girls. thing is, i've seen a few get slapped, and none of the guys can block their hand or catch it, the girls are too fast. they look humiliated. i don't know any kind of karate moves at all to block their smack. i don't know how, and i DON'T wanna get my face slapped by some cute chick in front of people. so if you've been with players, are they easy to slap, easier than guys that aren't? |

I know her hobbies and remember her old house but not the address. can i do anything to find her? i dont remember her dob or middle name sadly I cant seem to find her on social media |
Question: How do I tell my girlfriend I would like her to be more muscular? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 06:59 AM PDT I really am into muscle girls, like this one: https://imgur.com/WLAzSOU I would love my girlfriend to be a little bigger like this maybe or even bigger: https://imgur.com/qCRkTFw She currently looks like this: https://imgur.com/RU8DOmf I don't know how to ask her. She is still working on her body but doesn't seem to gain size anymore (I haven't asked her). So my question is how can I tell her that I would like her to grow a little bigger? P. S. Don't start with "I don't know why you would like that, she will look like a man blah, blah", is personal preference, besides that she likes having pumped muscles |
Question: I was honest and now he’s hurt...? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 06:06 AM PDT My boyfriend of 5 years is 38. When he was 32 he dated someone who was 19. I have a problem with this because I don't think it's right for a man of that age to be dating someone who is...well, not even old enough to drink. We were watching a movie and he made me back up the scene because he thought he noticed the actress had a tongue ring. The actress couldn't have been older than 16, but the character she was playing was a child of 12. It bothered me that he would be hung up on this, and when I said something he was highly sensitive and offended. He accused me of calling him a pedofile. My exact words were "she's probably around 16." I backed up the movie to the scene in question and said "She's a child..." Thoughts ? Advise ? |
Question: Why do homeless shelters use a housing-first approach strategy? Posted: 16 Oct 2017 04:13 AM PDT Why do workers who run these homeless shelters prioritize finding housing over actually helping people find a job and other resources or help they may need to be self sufficient? Why are they just trying to throw these people on government programs(ex:welfare, section 8) Who would want to live in a place that's bug infested, dangerous; run down with mouses and mice running everywhere? Why rush something that is suppose to be a natural PROCESS? When are they going to understand that the quickest and easy way out is never the answer. Why are these people forcing people to go out and find housing five days out the week filling out housing lists? How are they ever going to find adequate housing with no job or resources? What they are actually doing is making people run from their problems and the underlying issue that's really causing them to be homeless. But on the other hand we were all different and came from different paths and life situations. I stayed in a homeless shelter one time before and dreaded it. I hated it I would have rather been better off on the streets. It seemed as though the workers who ran the place were only concerned about their money and were so rude, nasty and disrespectful. I felt overwhelmed like I was trying to do three things all at once look for housing, find a job and go downtown every other week to deal with nasty social workers I could've devoted all that time to focus on finding a job and bettering myself. I feel like it's a process. |

Question: Is this an ok confession letter for a guy? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 09:26 PM PDT I don't know how to start this message, because I'm afraid it might be the end of our acquaintance. I know I may annoy you or even make you mad when my name pops up on to your phone. You probably don't even know it, probably truly don't even recognize the full extent of my feelings. This probably sounds so weird cause you probably haven't even had second thoughts about me since the last time we talked. I know we haven't talked in like a month & since I'm being honest, it breaks my heart. I am not the type of girl to be hung-up on a guy, or the type of girl to even say any of this but I felt that there is something about you I find so intriguing & handsome that I just had to. You kill me, I think about you much too often & I can't help but smile to my self when I think about you, the dumbest things make me think about you, like that stupid song "patty cake", or the color green cause of your eyes that also kill me hah, or just thinking about Colorado in general makes me think about you. I am not sure what kind of reply I'm expecting or if I am going to get one at all. I don't even know if I should ask for another chance. But honestly Chance, I just want you to know that I do miss you and if you ever maybe decide to give me another chance, you wouldn't regret it. |
Question: My boyfriend is a recovering addict. What should I do? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 09:15 PM PDT Ok so my boyfriend and I have been together for 14 months now but 10 of those months were spent apart with BARELY ANY communication at all. He was in rehab for a lot of ****. I waited for him and now he s been going in and out of the center until he completes the 1 year program. Before all this, I knew him and dated him for about 7 months. Thing is, I don t know how to deal with someone in recovery. Tbh he now sounds like a brain-washed cult member of the anti narcotics club. Don t get me wrong, I m all for his sobriety and I ve shown nothing but support of course. I even attended worship with his family in their church (for a religion that I have no interest in becoming a part of, with all due respect to them), all in effort of making amends with his family. But what if what he needs is to start over with a life without me? All we ever did together before his recovery was get drunk and high lol. He told me to stop drinking and smoking for him. I don t want to lie to him by doing any of that behind his back but at the same time, it feels kind of unfair because I feel so restricted in the things that I m allowed to do. I m doing my best. I ve completely cut out drugs which I think is fair but I ve also cut out more than half of my friends for him. We ve been through so much together. I still love him more than anything but he s so different now and I don t know what to do. I only want to make the right decision based on what will be good for him. Please help. |

Question: Why did my ex boyfriend use distancing language when referring to me? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 08:26 PM PDT he had a conversation with my mom and he not once mentioned my name, he just kept saying "your daughter" why did he not just say my name? |

Question: This year I'm not in the holiday spirit, is this a bad thing? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 07:10 PM PDT This year specifically, I haven't been able to get into the holiday spirit. Last year, I was able to buy some decorations. This is not like me considering I have always really treasured these holidays. I used to bake, decorate, listen to music and watch Christmas movies. I guess it has something to do with being in your 20's. My parents are the ones who have more holiday spirit than I do. My dad and mom have both out out Halloween figurines out. My mom is the one who is asking me to check out the decorations at stores; maybe because I am lacking with the holiday mood. I'm a 25-year-old female. Now, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are coming up, and I'm not in the holiday spirit at all, is this a bad thing? |
Question: Why fight for women's rights if they just going to be house Wife's? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 07:00 PM PDT In America people spend a lot of time and money encouraging girls to get into math a science or fighting for equal pay for women. Why bother wasting all that time and money if young girls are just going to grow up and marry a man with money and become a lazy stay at home mom to house wife? |
Question: How can i ask my brother if i can see his private part? Im curious to see if mines is ok.? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 06:59 PM PDT How can i ask my brother if i can see his private part? Im curious to see if mines is ok.? Brother to brother. He's 24 and I'm 13. |
Posted: 15 Oct 2017 05:41 PM PDT I like this kid in my Math class and he keeps smiling at me and joking around but likes this other girl. I have him in 3 classes. He always jokes around and says can't you ever say anything but shut up to me? The problem is known can't!! I'm a Tsundere! My friends laugh at me when I tell at him and I tell them to stop and they say it's funny I'm yelling at my crush. Anyway What do I do? Does he like me or not?? I'm so sad and mad at the same time I need an immediate answer or I'll cry. |
Question: Nobody cares about me. Help :-(? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 05:18 PM PDT I've figured out. It hurts me when I really find out the truth. I'm 14 and a girl. How do I cope with this feeling? I can't wait to get out of school and leave all of these fake people. I have a best friend but she's not nice to me and she's not supportive. |

Question: Is my staying out of this the right thing for me to do? Posted: 15 Oct 2017 01:18 PM PDT I remained good friends with my ex wife's mom and dad after the divorce and she was OK with that. Her mom and dad called me to invite me over dinner. I gladly accepted as her mom is a great cook. After dinner they told me my ex wife was getting married again and told me who the guy was. They really disliked him and did not want her to marry him. I had to agree with them that in my opinion, the guy is a bum. He is 28 years old, lived with his parents and has never had a job in his life. He is a high school drop out. They told me their daughter would not listen to them but she greatly respected my opinion and asked me to talk to her out of marrying this guy. What is so unexplainable is that she likes expensive jewelry, luxury cars, and the latest in fashion clothes. All of these things are expensive. I am conflicted about this. Even though I would like to help my ex wife as a friend in this situation, I don't think I should be telling her who she should marry. Please let me have your thoughts on what I should do. Ladies, I would really like you input. I don't plan to talk to her unless she ask for my advice. Is my staying out of this the right thing to do? |
