Question: Wife possibly sexually abused as child. How should i approach this? Please read!? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 08:47 PM PDT Me and my wife are living at her parents until next week until we get our place. Short story short i was looking for printer paper today and found a child picture of my wife naked. She looked to be 8, 9, or 10, was alone in the picture and had her arms spread out like when you get screened by security and she was frowning. I just glanced quickly and thought no way that was what i saw. I went back to the cabinet where it was at and confirmed it. My heart was beating out of my chest. I was in the dining room of my in laws and found it. I dont know how to approach this and have to say something soon. I want to confront my wife alone. She was sheltlered as a child and home schooled. Her parents adopted 4 kids and now i am concerned. I dont know how i could be misinterpreting, it seems clear to me the wrong in this. It was not a playful bath picture. It looked like she was instructed to pose as such. I want to cause a scene and just ******* lose my mind. i cant get my mind off this and need to pretect my wife. My mother in law just had surgery and my father in law is the only source of income. Im assuming it was her father who took the picture but idk. Im in fear for the kids if this is in fact not some misunderstanding. My wife likes to downplay things and not cause problems but this is a big issue. I feel a should wait till we are alone away from the house to talk to my wife. Her parents always question her when she cries.I cant play it cool any longer. I need some guidance. |
Question: Can a women legally make you pay child support if you are married to someone else? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 08:24 PM PDT So this gal that i hooked up with claims she is preganent. I really dont believe her but shes a total gold digger and im pretty sure shes after money (its defenetly not my looks). Anyway, Im married so can she force me to pay child support? |
Posted: 23 Oct 2017 07:08 PM PDT My fiancee and I have been engaged for a little over a year now and we've dated for a little over 3 years. In the beginning, things were hot and heavy as usual in any relationship, but then we moved in together and things slowly started to hit a wall. Now after living together for two years I cant even figure out how to approach her anymore when i think the mood is right. When we talk about it she says shes never weighed as much as she does and she feels gross and fat and is really insecure. I find my fiancee to be gorgeous and tell her if anyone she should be comfortable around it should be me. I actually start to question if she just doesn't want to make love to me. Seriously, we went eight months with just kissing. We don't even have oral or make out. So i know i sound like a stubborn selfish guy but Im just wondering what is causing my fiancee to be this way. To not even have oral sex with your clothes on? Or even make love with the lights out? It just has me so confused. |

Posted: 23 Oct 2017 06:03 PM PDT So, my husband and I have an excellent relationship with tons of communication and love. I texted my husband that "You are so good to me. I don't deserve you." He later told me that it was an insult. I'm actually quite confused about this. I don't understand. In my head, I was telling him that I love him very much and that I don't know how I ever found him. Could someone please help me understand why this is an insult to him? He tells me the same thing sometimes, so maybe that's where I got it from? |

Posted: 23 Oct 2017 05:21 PM PDT I always hear that a person chooses to behave a certain way. What is meant by that? A. Does this imply that the abuser (on his/her very own) can easily switch his/her abusive ways off & on like a light switch? For example, he can switch from being abusive to his wife, separates, and one week later he chooses to be Mr. Perfect to the next woman. or B. Does it imply that with outside help, choosing to want to change and choosing to accept the help changes him/her? |

Question: Why is it popular to get married and be with your spouse for life? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 04:33 PM PDT I never understood it really, especially after I have seen my own parents marriage last 40+ year and still going strong, while I see other ones crumble to their death (figuratively)? |

Posted: 23 Oct 2017 01:00 PM PDT Examples: Remembering her birthday Remembering anniversary And having a least a small gesture every now and then, like flowers 🌺 a special something. I m not talking about expensive gifts at all but there is definitely man who NEVER invest in their wifes. I would appreciate respectful and truthful answers I would like to hear some input from man specially about this matter. They would know best. Im trying to understand the mans point of view at the same time. Thanks in advance. |
Question: My common law husband is marrying the woman he cheated on me with after we broke up? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 12:09 PM PDT We weren't married and were together for 9 years. We had three kids. I begged him to propose and he never did. He was cheating on me with some other woman and when we broke up, he immediately started dating her. After a year of them dating, he proposed to her. I hate her and she stole my husband from me. What do I do? My current boyfriend won't propose either and I'm 36 years old. |
Question: Why do many women have such trouble finding good quality, financially well off men? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 11:54 AM PDT I see so many women these days complaining there's no good quality men for long term relationships. Guys who are good looking, confident, have good jobs, mentally stable, good head on their shoulders, intelligent, and nice and laid back. |
Posted: 23 Oct 2017 11:16 AM PDT So my husband has a nickname for one of his customers, he's a sales rep for the company we work for. I don't want to say what her name is, but it's not like "baby" or "beautiful" or anything like that. It's like a play on her name. A little back story, I've been jealous before when I've seen them together because he ignores me the times we've all hung out. One time in particular, I was telling her a story and he completely cut me off to show her a picture on his phone and proceeded to tell a story of his own to her. He barely looked in my direction the whole time. The next time was awkward as well. We went to a concert and was so worried because she was running late and then seemed worried again because she wasn't sitting with us. He kept looking down the row we were in where she was sitting pretty much every few minutes while she was there. I know that I am a pretty jealous person in general so I always question myself when I do. I usually don't say anything because I always think I'm overreacting. The only time I do bring anything up is when I don't like how he's acting in a situation where I get jealous. He's pretty understanding & doesn't make me feel like I'm just acting like a crazy person. I haven't brought up how I feel because it's one of his customer's and I would feel bad if he changed how he interacts with her because this is the biggest customer in our region. I don't know if I should just suck it up and leave it alone. |
Question: Not happy in my marriage? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 11:01 AM PDT I love my husband but I'm not in love with him anymore, I'm 26 & he's 27, married for 3 years & it seems like we struggle from day 1 to now, I want to go out and do stuff, he wants to sit home and play video games. It's either his way or no way. I want to get a job and so I can have my own money but I can't do that either. It seems like I'm trapped in this marriage because I have no money, no job, no car & no one I can stay with until I get on my own 2 feet. It's stressful he expects us to be like the 1920s he work while I stay at home and cook & clean. I hate it, and I don't know what to do. Whenever I bring up my feelings to him he brush it off . I'm still young and want to go out and enjoy life not sit at home and cook & clean for a selfish, sensitive grown man |
Question: Is there a term for this? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 08:45 AM PDT The last couple years of my marriage things have gone downhill. My husband doesn't care to put family first or think of responsibilities. Slowly I've had to take over managing things that he has proven to be insufficient with. He wanted our funds to be separate and he would just send over money for "his half" of the bills. We tried it for years but it really did not account for alot of the surprise issues that came along (he has three kids from a previous marriage that live with us full time so there's always suprise expenses like buying new shoes, hats, gloves, etc when they get lost) he would always spend down any extra money he had because he din't think it was "needed" besides telling him time and time again to save extra for the kids. So for example, we finally ended up having him send over all his his paycheck except for about $400 "allowance" a month he can use on whatever he wants for himself. The thing is that we tried it his way for years and he was constantly spending money on frivulous things but then didn't have money to contribute to the kids new shoes or activities, etc. I finally said no..this can't go on this way we need to come up with a budget..and so we did..then he has the nerve to complain that he's handing over his entire paycheck. (i work too and i actually work way more than him) another example is he actually works third shift.. and he is supposed to be going to sleep when he gets home and get up late afternoon so he can help with meals. He agreed to get up at 4:30 every day.. well time and time again.. he very rarely gets up...and he refuses to set an alarm to get up on his own. he claims if i want him up..I have to wake him up. then i have to listen to him hem and haw and yell at me for waking him up. when i try to discuss this with him i try to avoid terms like "lazy" or name calling but i'm running out of options basically.. he does such a poor job at his responsiblities that it forces me to make these rules like the "allowance" or waking him up.. then i get the brunt of him yelling, complaining, etc. and he acts like i'm a control freak..when all i want him to do is his part anyway..i'm looking for a term that illustrates to hikm what he's doing.. basically shooting himself in the foot. if I bring up the fact that he doesn't get up at 4:30 like he should..he'll bring up one time last week that he did..despite he should be doing it every day |
