Question: Do you think one of my classmates is a future serial killer? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 05:34 PM PDT I've known him since first, and we're in highschool now. He's always been quiet, timid and afraid to stand up for himself. The other, more popular kids would make fun of him, and he'll just sit there, with a constant dull face(not sad, not happy, not blinking), and wouldn't say anything. At break time, he strolls around the school campus by himself while everyone else, including myself, is talking and playing with friends. Maybe some of them are right when they say that he's weird, though. He has a strange habit of touching people hands, collar bones, in an attempt to "feel their bones," he said. He makes "animal-sounding" noises when he's walking to class as well. I have also seen him taking a knife out to his yard(we live in the same neighborhood with no fence between us), looking for squirrels or whatever. He also laughs and smiles to himself sometimes, too. What is far more strange is that he's very bright. He makes straight A's, never gets in trouble(except for stealing someone's phone once), but isn't in any school clubs, though. When people ask if he has friends, he says no instantly. When they ask what he plans to do with his life after high school, he says, "I don't care much about it." Some people even said he's the "definition of weird." And he's a junior, like me. |
Question: Isnt it ironic that someone on here told me that online friendships aren't real? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 05:05 PM PDT But they told me this friendly advice through the internet. We dont even know each other any mote than me and my online friend do. By the way I completly agree that online relationships and friendships are nothing more thanchildish fantasies |
Question: What to do when someone your avoiding never gives up? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 05:04 PM PDT At first my question was going to be, "What to do when someone thinks your avoiding them". But i realize, i sort of am avoiding her- not because i dont care about her, or i dont like her, but mainly because she takes alot of energy to be around. She subconsciously puts pressure on me, because she wants from me something that i cant give her. I cant be that buddy-buddy, dancy, giggly, best friend type of person. Thats not who I am. Shes a good person— but everytime i see her it reminds me of my past, of someone I used to be, of places i used to go. A few times ive started to break down crying while texting her. And it isnt her fault, but she feels bad about herself now because she is reliant on me. Im her "best friend". And all my other friends are me and her "friend group". But i dont see it that way. None of the people i know are my best friend. And i cant see her that way because a best friend for me is someone who sticks by you when the going gets rough. Our personalities dont really mix— and i dont feel very comfortable around her. We've known eachother 5 years, and shes the only "real life" friend ive had. (All of my friends Ive known have been the online-sort of people.) I dont know how to break away from her. Ive been dropping hints, then feeling guilty and apologizing to her, and telling her i wasnt avoiding her. But I know that its hurting her more for us to _stay_ friends. We both act nice about it, we dont bring it up, yet i see her getting more negative everyday. |
Question: Drunken party wrong: how do I convince him not to tell?? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 04:36 PM PDT A group of friends of mine had a party at a mutual friends house and I brought my little brother along. A couple of the other girls decided to play a group game of truth or dare where each person gets a turns to have the group do a truth or dare. Any way, someone dare the group to touch my brothers privates for 5 seconds. I'm hindsight it was a really stupid idea Any way but we were all drunk (except my brother obviously). I didn't do it and lost the dare but pretty much everybody else held him and did it. After that u felt bad so we went home. Since then I've apologized about what happened but he's being a cry baby about it (he's 16). Now I'm really worries he might tell someone and he us all in trouble. I've true talking to him about it but he won't talk to me. I've tried getting some of the other kids to apologize but they won't bc they feel like he's whinning and being a cry baby about it too. It's not like they drugged we date raped him or something. He hasn't told our parents yet as far as I know but that could change. What should I do to get him not to tell??? the group was made up of mostly boys but it wasnt even that big of a deal we all did weird stuff he was just being extra sensitive |

Posted: 21 Oct 2017 04:18 PM PDT According to some girls at my school, I'm always. Pretty boy. Personally, I think that makes sense, but I'd like to see the opinion of others. Let's see. Unlike most guys in high school, I care about my appearance and try to dress nice and be well-groomed. My morning routine is as follows-and if you're wondering, yes, I follow this exact schedule every single day: 1. Wake up and brush teeth 2. Apply homemade face pack (which I prepare the night before) which contains milk, honey, lemon, turmeric, tomatos, potatoes, and carrots to my face, neck, and arms. 3. Eat breakfast, which contains of carrots (good for skin), spinach (good for hair), and green tea (good for skin). 4. Workout and do facial exercises to keep my skin tight 5. Shave/shower (I keep a little stubble cause it looks good) 6. Put on clothes (I wear a lot of blazers, chinos, sweaters/cardigans, pea coats, and casual button-downs). 7. Hair routine (rub pomade between hands, apply to damp hair, use hair dryer and comb to style it, and then use hairspray to keep it that way). 8. Moisturize and apply sunscreen. I do play sports-tennis, to be specific-but hate getting dirty and contact sports. I personally think I'm a pretty boy. What do you think? Thanks, Joelle. I don't really feel comfortable sharing my picture online. The whole routine takes an hour and half, typically, Steven. I don't feel like it's a waste of time, because firstly, it makes me more confident, and second, girls seem to like it. Jim and Gary, see above to the part about girls liking it. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2017 04:11 PM PDT I do admit I do have the habit of apologizing to people who I've liked that appears to be giving me the silent treatment, I also want to make sure everything is alright between me and this particular person. |
Question: How can I support a friend with EDS? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 03:47 PM PDT I don't want to pry too much into her issues, I believe she has hypermobile type. Among her issues she has digestive issues that mean she's often ill and she's obese but because of problems with mobility she can't exercise, thus she's depressed about her size (she was anorexic in her teens, has a stick-thin sister who's her parents favourite, and her husband left her when she started gaining weight). She also has issues with losing her teeth which makes her feel ugly. I don't see her often and I'm not great being the supportive type (e.g. I suck dealing with people when they're crying etc.) so I'm not sure what I could do to help her feel better. Any suggestions? |
Question: So I think I'm f*cked...? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 03:46 PM PDT So last night I spent the night at my friend's house and he invited his neighbor over (she's pretty cute. I'm 16 and she is 12. I'm not trying to bang no 12 year old but we did do stuff together) and he also invited his other friend over. Basically the other guy that was there besides my friend received a ******** from this girl, and she's bipolar/stupid as f*ck so for some reason she tells her mom that she did that and that she snuck out last night. My friend's mom yelled at him for inviting a girl over and now he's not allowed to have anyone over. She also kicked me out of their house. Me and the girl slept together (like literally sleep together, not sex) a couple times (we also got her to sneak out a few weeks ago) basically we just cuddled and I grabbed her a$$ a lot so I didn't really do a lot to get myself in trouble, but I had to go home from my friend's house and he's probably getting yelled at right now. His other friend (the one that got the ********) left early in the morning so he wasn't there to get yelled at, but I bet my friend's mom will end up telling his mom that she gave him a ********. I'm just worried that she will end up telling my parents that I was involved in some way. What can I do? Am I totally screwed? |
Question: How do I confront woman who sits in my seat at church? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 03:39 PM PDT Every Sunday, I find her sitting in my seat. Last Sunday when I asked her to move, she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said "excuse you". We don't have assigned seats, but it's an unspoken rule to not take someone's seat! I plan to confront her again tomorrow about this. How shall I go about doing that? Please ignore the comment thread. There is a troll who will be reported. |

Question: How would you handle these flakes? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 03:02 PM PDT Ive been friends with these guys for years. Occasionally i will host a party or event (which i spend a lot of money on) and invite many different people. But these same 3 to 4 friends ALWAYS say they are coming, but then don't because at the last minute they don't feel like going out of their way and want to party somewhere else instead because they don't think the ladies at my parties are hot enough for them (and this is actually the truth). All these guys want to do is go to the clubs downtown and get hot girls. These guy friends are in their early 30's and well educated. They also use drugs too, so that is part of the issue as well. My parties are usually not downtown, so they have to go out of their way. Again, i don't have a problem with them not coming...i have an issue with them saying that they are coming and then literally not showing up (or even calling to say hey, i can't make it). They don't even apologize later! Then sometime throughout the year, they have a party and i always try to make it out to theirs. They get upset when people flake on them too! What would you say to them? I know that putting them on the spot will make them uncomfortable and probably not help the situation to be honest. |
Question: All friends smoke around me and lost few friends because of that, what do i do about it? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 02:15 PM PDT I've never smoked in my life and some people already tried to make me light one up and get addicted which left me only to never talk to them again, but even when i don't smoke, me being next to anyone who smokes just makes me cough alot and for some reason it hurts my heart when im close to smoke. Few friends already stopped making any kind of contacts with me because they saw me just step away from them when they're smoking. They don't ask why i just move or anything. I even lost my best friend couple weeks ago because of smoking. I always moved away from him when he smoked which he realized but understanded me about it so whenever he takes one hes not close to me. What's even more stupid, i lost him because he was in stress as he didn't have a cigar and i just told him why don't stop, it wont cause you bad harm and you won't lose that much money, he just gets angry at me every time i tell him that, and thats why i stopped talking to him. What am i supposed to do when im these kind of situations? Can't find myself some friends who are like me, who doesn't smoke at all, or find me friends who smoke but understand me at all times and won't be in stress even if i tell them to stop smoking. I even question myself all the times, why do they even start smoking in the first place? It brings all the bad habits (losing money, losing friends and just doesn't look cool at all). |
Question: How did I hurt his feelings? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 01:47 PM PDT A guy told me that I hurt his feelings because I deleted him from my fb, but he is not a close friend at all (he was my tutor for a semester) and I barely talk to him...We met today and when we were talking, he realized that I deleted him from fb... I laughed it off....how should i have responded? |
Question: Should i just move away because people know I touch myself? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 01:34 PM PDT So in class, I finished my school work and I was bored. I had overwhelmingly sexual thoughts to the point I decided To touch myself. Someone caught me and they and their friends laughed. I had to stop immediately. Next period, I got called up to the office and I confessed. I got a one day suspension. Yet the entire school knows I touch myself. It happened on a Friday and I feel like I'm not ready to go back to school after mysuspension because people are going to call me a pervert for just touching myself and I will get bullied for it. I feel like I should just move to another country or somewhere because I don't know how to handle being mocked just for touching myself. |
Question: Help. is my fbuddy trying to make me jealous? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 01:14 PM PDT So my fbuddy is really cute, nice, and smart. He's also my dealer. But honestly I have no feelings for him at all. I'm not sure why, I just don't. Anyway we had sex yesterday morning and he randomly sends me a selfie with him and another girl. I was like that's nice. Then I went back that evening to buy drugs from him and he was like sure come over. A girl was in his bed, and I was like "you kids have fun" and he was like "Oh we did." It was just so weird lmao. Is he trying to make me jealous or does he just not care? It seems like he's trying too hard I'm not really in "loser city" I have a boyfriend lmao |
Question: What's a good way to get revenge on my "friends"? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 12:26 PM PDT My roommate is a friend of mine of 10 years. He is also friends with some people who are pretty much losers such as this one co worker friend of his who's 24, is a deadbeat dad who's prorities are smoking weed and drinking and he never seen his kid since he was born. This friend of his is also on the run from the law since he skipped 2 court dates for burglary. I got into a tussle with him the final night I hung with his friend because he took off and left his ankle bracelet in my car. As for my roommate, I'm in a one year lease with him and I'm secretly beginning to like him less and less because he seems to laugh with this joker when he speaks ill of me. As for my friend, Im thinking of letting him go his way and I go my way and after the lease, I might not associate with him as much. Unlike my roommate, I don't hang with scum bags. plus my roommate second job is where i work at and we from the same neighborhood too. As time goes by he is friends with girls who are pilled out and has a lot of thug people in the family up north. I also am tempted to turn his friend into the cops since he is such a loser, and my friends tell me its a bytch move this thug friend of theirs came into the scene 2 years ago. For 2 years he shown no signs of improving. It kinda sucks because my friend and his brother, we all come from the same neighborhood but I'm feeling a certain kind of way about them now m not even a month into my lease but I guess in my heart we not friends. Only roommates I mean when there was a problem and we fought he would be sorry and so would I, but now Im seeing something totally different in my friend. Being popular was never my things. All the girls he gets or hangs with and has known for a long time have actually turned out to be girls I want nothing to do with. I'm 36 and just moved out for the first time too: I mean I smoke weed too but I got 2 jobs and a college degree and I'm not a POS criminal. Mr friends are brothers who are 27 and 30. Known them for a long time. Have a lot in common. Just lately I have not been able to stand them and I think they are hypocrites. |
Question: How to tell a friend he can't sing nicely? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 12:21 PM PDT I have this friend who always sings even when you're talking to him which is quite rude. He believes he's amazing and sends videos and shows everyone, he always says he's good but in my opinion and in many of my friends opinions, he's terrible. He said he is going to go up in front of my whole school and sing within a few weeks but my school is so judgemental and I KNOW for a FACT everyone will make fun of him if he does. I need a way of telling him he can't sing in a nice way...thank you :/ |

After that she would leave when the lunch bell rang, leaving those two male friends to hang for a few minutes after the bell rang. Why does she leave |
Question: How can I embarrass/humiliate myself online? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 11:34 AM PDT I want to humiliate or embarrass myself. How do I do that online? How do I get people to insult/bully me long term also, for my entertainment? |

Question: Will my friends give me another chance? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 11:24 AM PDT I am a 45 year old woman from india who is a lawyer and has been in the country for 20 years. I am 6'7 320 pounds. My height, weight, and cultural differences made dating impossible. After years of activley pursuing men im still a virgin at 45. I befriended 3 white attractive females in their 20s who are 6'0-6'2 and are are all taller than their boyfriends. I was friends with them for 2 years, and we became very close, and i was like their older friend they looked up to, for advice and was their role model. I was also friends with their boyfriends, who were very attractive. I would sneakily, touch myself while watching them have sex with their boyfriends. I also had been touching their boyfriends, it started with feeling their muscles, but then escalated to feeling their asses and crotch. The girls talked to me and said that i betrayed their trust, and I overstepped my boundaries and they dont want to speak to me again. I know what i did was wrong, is their a way to apologize, and revive my friendship. |
Question: Is it wrong to charge friend? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 11:23 AM PDT My friend is staying with me for a month. He's not here often but has his things in my home gym, uses my washer and dryer, sleeps on my couch and uses my WiFi. Now so far, as I said, he's been in and out. Also, I'm not in the best financial situation right now. I'd like to charge him at least $100 for the month but I also feel like I'm punishing him for my financial situation. Is it wrong to charge him since it's only a month and he's not here a huge amount? ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.0.03 Thanks for the advice! We decided on $50 which is more than fair! |
Posted: 21 Oct 2017 11:02 AM PDT My friend & I don't like this one girl we go to school w/ because she starts a lot of drama for no reason. Two nights ago we were dming each other on instagram talking about how annoyed we are that she's coming back to school (she was gone bc surgery). We were both worried that a lot was going to happen when she came back, since she tends to bring drama everywhere with her. The conversation only lasted a few minutes, and that was that. However, I COMPLETELY forgot that one of my friends happens to be logged into my instagram & he screenshotted the texts & sent them to the girl, who showed her mom. Her mom posted the entire text conversation (which, I should mention, was a private conversation between two minors & she did not have the right to post them. It's a violation of privacy) & she posted it on her facebook. Then 52 of her facebook friends commented on how I'm a nasty girl, how somebody needs to beat the snot out of me, how I need to be forced to watch 13 reasons why, and many of them said to get the police involved because that's the fastest way to stop cyberbullying. Her mom took the screenshots to the school I got in a lot of trouble with the administration. So, am I a cyberbully? I didn't post anything bad, I never said anything bad to her, I just had some thoughts about her that I wanted to keep between me & my friend. Is that bad? |
Question: Am I being bullied? Should I leave the team? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:35 AM PDT I'm a freshman on the JV tennis team. I get messed with a whole lot. the reason i joined is because i love tennis and some of my friends were doing it. although i never see them now that they're a lower rank than me... The varsity team is extremely mean to me since I used to like one of the boys on there 2 YEARS ago, and they don't leave me alone of how creepy i was about it. The JV tennis team, a girl i literally am friends with on there calls me trash at tennis. "Just shut up (My name), you're trash anyway.. lol" The boys are a whole different story. I got touched by one inappropriately and they all call me 'blondie' and mess with me constantly . I'm miserable, and i'm playing horribly because i'm constantly afraid to get beat down by the team. A lot of people at my school don't really like me and i'm STRUGGLING on my last LEG to hold my emotions. I don't have any grudge against anyone unless they hurt me. am i overreacting??? WHAT DO I DO... |

Question: How can I make a great new impression? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:04 AM PDT So I'm moving a new highschool. I know most of the students because I went to the middle school you go to before going to that highschool. At the beginning of this year ( I'm a freshman) I switched so I've never been to this highschool. I really want to make a great impression when I move to this highschool and make a lot of new friends so I can make the most of my highschool experience. Any advice on how to not be to shy to even speak? How can I make highschool a great experience? How can I make a lot of new friends? |
Question: I feel left out by my friends and feel as if they don't care about me? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:03 AM PDT I dont have a best friend but I have a few friends but I feel as if I can't talk to them about anything. I would tell my one friend my problem and she would always say "oh okay" for everything. I could type a whole paragraph and she would say that and it pisses me off. My other friend I feel as if she doesn't Care either because I would text her and she won't reply until 2 days but when she does reply it'll be like "ew no Kory" (that's not my name) so I know she sees my message and the only reason she texted me is because it was on accident. I feel like if I didnt text her first she will never ever text me unless she has to tell me something that's so irrelevant. She even said so herself because I moved to a different messaging thing and she said she forgets to text me because we always use to text on this one app. I feel like if she liked me or liked talking to me she would remember but IG not. And both my friends and I went to this thing together and they even waited for me so I was happy but when we sat down the talked to each other the whole time and in would try to join in and try would say "you don't know them" and its true because we have no classes together but they could at least try to include me and once it was over they both got up and left they didnt even wait for me I didnt want to go following them and look stupid. What should I do? Idk if I should talk to them about it or not because they always say "make new friends" then leaves |

Question: What do you think of my "friends"? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 09:06 AM PDT my roommate is a friend of mine of 10 years. It kinda sucks because my friend and his brother, we all come from the same neighborhood but I'm feeling a certain kind of way about them now I'm not even a month into my lease but I guess in my heart we not friends. Im liking my roommate less and less as time goes on. His brother I don't like either as Im finding out how much they "respect" me. They ghetto trash that grew up in a white people, not being racist, neighorhood with backwards ethics. I did lots of favors for these people becayse I got a good heart and do things for friends and family Now my POS roommate has friends that work where we work as well. Ive been at my job for 11 years and aint gonna have some punks make my life difficult. In other words, how do I go about continuing living in the apartment now, how do I end the friendship in a peaceful manner and how do you spot these people in the future. also, whats a good way to extract revenge on these types of people who are popular as well? |
Question: Do guys ever share personal items? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:59 AM PDT I mean stuff like deodorant or borrowing each other's clothes or sharing water bottles. Yeah I'm thinking gym class type things but still I've seen girls share all of that and have also done that myself (except the deodorant) so it's just a mild curiosity. I mean it was so common to share water bottles that it was hardly a second thought to hand it over when a friend asked for some. ...which is why I find that whole "You kissed someone by drinking from the same water bottle!" thing ridiculous. If that were the case then I've apparently made out with all of my friends -_- |
Question: How did I hurt his feelings? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:36 AM PDT A guy told me that I hurt his feelings because I deleted him from my fb, but he is not a close friend at all (he was my tutor for a semester) and I barely talk to him...We met today and when we were talking, he realized that I deleted him from fb... I laughed it off....how should i have responded? |
Question: Best friend birthday surprise? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:26 AM PDT It's my best friend's 16th birthday soon and I'm trying to give her a memorable birthday (we have a competition to see who can get the other, the better present and this year she got me a dog so the bar is set pretty high), except she goes to a different school. my current plan is to set up some gifts for her before school and she would get them as she goes to her classes, but do you think there's anything better? Thanks so much! |
Question: Why is my friend ignoring my snapchats? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:13 AM PDT She has a lot of streaks and she's replying to the guys but she just always used to reply to me as well and now she just sends streaks but opens and airs my snaps. She has someone round ATM but she'd always reply ,were not best best friends but we're definitely close and it bugs me since I'm worried we're slowly drifting away from each other and this is another sign of it. How can I become closer to her again? Why would she ignore me? |
Question: Two birthdays combined in one party, how much money to give each person? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:11 AM PDT Double birthday dilemma, help? So I have an issue. My close friend invited me to her (small) birthday party, but she's doing it with her sister because their birthdays are by each other. Her sister is just my "friend." We joke around and talk when I see her, but just that. She's not my "close friend." I want to give my friend $40 (She's saving up for a laptop and wants cash lol) but I don't want to spend more than 50 overall. I think it would be rude to get her sister a $10 gift card or something, because that's too little, but at the same time I don't know of any item that would cost 10 and be a good gift (and she wouldn't be able to tell it's cheap). I need thoughts/opinions/advice on what I should do. Thanks! |
Question: How to not think about moving to a new school so much? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:08 AM PDT My parents are saying that we might move to a city just north of Atlanta, Georgia right after my sophomore year at my current high school in Austin, TX!!! I have moved once in 3rd grade, but that was a local move, and I've grown up to know a lot of people from my schools here and I know people from around the school district. I was born here and I've lived and grown up in the Austin area my whole life! I have so many friends and I'm totally settled here. And now we have to move! Im going to move and not have any friends, and not know where to sit in the cafeteria!!! How do I stop thinking about moving so much? I've got the whole year to spend time with my closest friends. I just keep thinking, I have so many unique friends that you can't find anywhere! Like my friend, Mia, we call each other insults and we never get mad, we play around and i mean what kinda girl would accept you calling her a fag or a idiot and try and roast you back? |
Question: To go to a party or not to? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 06:59 AM PDT My friend is throwing a party at her house. It wont be a huge party. There will be a few people and i know most of them.Even though i know most of them i dont really talk to them besides saying hello whenever we come across eachother. They are probably going to drink and im not keen on that but thats not the problem because there is one more guy that also doesnt drink so i wont be alone. The thing is im a person suffering from social anxiety. Before anyone else comes up to me let me tell you.I have been diagnosed by a medical professional. Its really hard for me to make friends and talk to people because i always end up making awkward conversations.Should i go or should i not? If i do go,what can you advise me about calming myself when i engage in a conversation? How to keep calm? How to encourage myself to be a part of the conversation rather than to be the lonely one that just listens to the convo and pretends im busy on my phone? |
Question: What should I do with my bff? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 06:23 AM PDT So i have a friendship with this girl and its a 2 year friendship. Around June she got a boyfriend who s a total jerk and treats her and I so poorly. He thinks we re "too close" and calls me a lesbian and completely bullies me in every single way he can by bringing up a very intense moment in the past that I would rather not say. Then, he s cheated on her about two times but she doesn t understand that he s gonna keep hurting her. They ve broken up about 5 times already but they always get back together. But whenever I wanna call her she says she s busy. Then I realize that about 10 minutes later she calls her boyfriend. She s always ditching me for her boyfriend. Also, she keeps making friends with girls I hate, and she knows. She becomes so close with the girls I don t really like and with rich girls to get attention. It just really bothers me and makes me sad how she would rather pick a 4 month relationship over a nearly 3 year friendship and keeps making new friends which makes me feel pretty replaced. |

Question: How do I befriend someone on Twitter? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 04:56 AM PDT I've been looking into making new friends lately since I'm tired of being a lonely wolf. So I found this guy on Twitter who seems really nice, looks like he has the same interests as me and seem like a really nice dude in general. However, I dont know how to get a convo going with someone I dont fully know yet. I'm not sure if he replies to private messages and I dont want to seem needy. We have had some small conversations going over simple tweets, but I wanna get to know him more. Can I simply ask if he's up for a conversation? Or that I want to get to know him some more? I get really anxious and I'm afraid to make myself look creepy, but in reality I just wanna make friends. Thanks for any help! |
Question: Is it normal to hate friendly kind people? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 11:44 PM PDT By hating they're acting like being nice and kind, but when its come to trouble they'll be sure to run and leave people behind, no matter who i feel like they're all the same its like a feeling or sense telling me not to approach them, its not like i have any experience of getting betrayed leave behind alone it just not having a unlucky event to make them show they're real face should i change how i think or continue thinking they're bunch of loser |
Question: Do I have to pay tax on cash gifts from friends? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 10:49 PM PDT I'm Canadian and I have worked in Shanghai. During my time there I made many friends (some of them very rich). When I left Shanghai I mentioned to my friends about how I had saved money working there which would help me for going back to school in Canada. This was definitely not a hint to borrow money, but 2 of my friends have insisted on giving me a cash gift to help me pay for school. One of them has offered me $25 000 Canadian dollars. The other has not specified the amount. We are close friends and their homes are each valued at over 5 million USD. They will not be suffering. They are also single and they seem to want to help me. I will take the money, do I have to pay tax? I think in Canada (likely America and other places) that I do not have to pay tax on the gift itself but if I am able to invest any that I may have to pay tax on the interest. |
Question: What to do if two friends make plans with you on the same date? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 09:56 PM PDT One of my friends invited me to hang with her a her place, I said that I would wait before asking to make sure I would be free. A day later my good friend asked to hangout with me on the same exact day as the first friend. So I have two friends who want to hangout with me on the same day and time in different locations. Do I choose the first because she asked first, or is it okay if I choose the one I want to go with more? |
Question: My ex boyfriend friend won't stop bothering me? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 09:49 PM PDT My ex bf's best friend has followed me on Instagram and added me on Facebook he messaged me being really messy and asking personal questions about my relationship with him.I have to walk past my ex in school everyday and he is always with him. He whispers to my ex to do something embarrassing to me or make fun of me. He even gets his other guy friends to make fun of me when my ex's isn't around. one time he was whispering to everyone about me that was really rude and I could tell because he was staring and giggling at me. It's so Annoying. My ex doesn't even care about me or worry about me but his friend does. We broke up two years ago and his friend wont stop bringing it up. What is the best thing to do? |
Question: How do I become friends with exchange students? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 09:36 PM PDT They seem kinda lonely and I honestly just like listening to different accents. One is in my English class and she's from japan and another one is in my history class and he's from somewhere in Europe. They both don't talk much and are usually doing something alone. How do I talk to them and become their friends? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 08:35 PM PDT I used to be very close to this one girl in high school. I knew her because she dated one of my friends and after they broke up me and her just stayed friends. We were best friends for about 2 years and she was just the kindest sweetest person i knew, I did notice however that a little later in our friendship she got more and more anxious about things and wanted to go out more and more often she would call me every night asking if I wanted to go to a party or something, I m not much of a party person so I turned her offer down a bunch of times. We eventually grew apart because she went off to a different college than me and we just sort of lost contact, it was mutual there was no big dramatic fight or anything like that. Of course I still kept up with her on snap chat and insta and I noticed that at school all she did was party. Eventually she got kicked out because she failed everything which didn t really surprise me. However just a little while ago I got a message from someone saying that she had been arrested, I clicked the link they sent and it was her mug shot, she was being charged with a felony cocaine possession! I was so shocked I never saw anything like this ever happening. This is the first time that someone I know has been charged with something so serious. She is only 19 years old and she s about to go to prison for a minimum sentence of 5 years!! I feel really bad for her and know that there isn t anything I can do to help her. |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 08:31 PM PDT My best friend and I were really close. Few months after high school it's like he forgot all about me. Talking to a person who was in my class that I dropped remembered me and said the whole class asked about me(meaning like where have I been). Things like this give me the impression I'm unforgettable but yet after high school my best friend(not an ordinary friend) doesnt text me anymore or really think about me. Pathethic ik, so before you write that, I already know I'm pathethic for caring and getting hurt over a minor detail. Sorry for writing a lot but also met a guy in college who everything seems to be goin great, friendship started like how I met my best friend but now I'm also nervous that it'll end the same way. I've just lost too many people, crush even blocked me... I can't handle losing any more people |

Question: How to make friends in college? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 07:40 PM PDT So I'm a freshman in college and I find it hard to make friends. Even back in high school I didn't really have a best friend, but I did have a group of friends I hang out with at lunch and sometimes after school. I never really do well in social situation. I always feel awkward when it comes to social situations like parties I will always be left out like the loner. To be honest I kind of like being a loner as in you have more freedom and get more control of your life. I find college everyone just mind their own business. Like before class, people just use their phone or study. Unlike high school, people usually talk in class. In college people pay attention or use their phone. I accept the fact it's really hard for me to make friends, but how can I make just a few friends? Also I live off campus not in dorm so I don't get that experience. |
Question: YouTube drama! Lol do you watch theses people? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 07:33 PM PDT Okay so if you watch YouTube there is a group of friends who have been arguing and one of the friends went live and kinda went on a rampage probably said some things she regrets and then another friend posted a video about loyalty. Well I kind of understand both sides, sometimes we get so fed up and believe our truth and nothing else matters. I also understand having loyalty! So what do you think being a friend is and would oh consider the girl who went on live to be a snake? |

Question: Why is she doing this to ME? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 07:11 PM PDT I'm 20 years old,a child abuse survivor. This story is about how I got emotionally attached to the wrong person. I met this girl at a summer job.We got close and she confided in me about her abuse. She described it in graphic detail. After that I made it my mission to fix her. I wanted to be there for her and help her. I never minded giving her anything even physical comfort. I'd lay in her lap and let her stroke my hair and touch my face. She'd hold my hand and intertwine our fingers. She'd ask for hugs. Sometimes she'd get playful and bite my hand or lick food of my fingers. One day she asked me if I like someone. I said no.She replied "I think I've a crush on you.Is it weird?" Then another time she said I'm falling for you She had a boyfriend and I eliminated the possibility of her liking me and I saw her as just a friend. The most intimate we got was at a sleepover. She told me she had a fight with her bf and asked me to lay next to her. Then she cuddled into me and asked me to stay, as she was half conscious. Another day we had a deep talk and then she pulled me close on the bed. Her arms were around me,my head was on her chest and I could feel her heart beating really fast. Then she began changing. She betrayed me to our mutual friends, started spreading lies that I was chasing/obsessing over her when I tried to fix the situation. She tells me she's addicted to me,can't get over me, can't trust herself with me but constantly betrays me. What wrong have I done? |
Question: My friend destroyed my self esteem? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 06:43 PM PDT I had this friend who messed me over. She started talking crap about me, real crap, and I was the bigger person and walked out of the relationship because it was toxic. I thought my future self would thank me. However, this year hasn't been easy. She's made a lot of friends, has a new boyfriend, is closer to my friends that I am, and keeps getting her way. It really has affected me and my self esteem, I don't know how to change my mentality. I'm constantly blaming myself and thinking it's not fair, and why do people love her more than me? it really hurts. |

Posted: 20 Oct 2017 06:08 PM PDT I'm 4'7 also im a adult and every were I go shopping I always get people who are in line at the back of me say wow she's ****** short. I admit that i dont want to be short but god made me like this, I cannot do anything about it. What are some ways I can feel better ? |
