My house was burglarized that night. The next day I told him, "Thank god you didn't come over last night, my house was broken into, & it would have been awkward if I was sneaking you in & out on camera & I had to explain that to my family". He didn't reply. How could he not reply to the knowledge that my house was burglarized? I'm not asking advice on how to get him back, I'm asking, "What drives him?" Why didn't he text me saying he wasn't interested?

I had a minor surgery where I had some mild skin cancer removed. It is the type that does not spread throughout the body. I was off work for two weeks. When I returned to work a lot of my coworkers were asking me if I feel better. I don't understand why they are asking me that when it really isn't a big deal.

She's 14, she eats enough, but last year her metabolism became really high. According to her doctor. I'm not sure why though. She's about 96lbs. And about 5ft-5ft 1-ish. Many people in her family are very flat until they have kids. So she's probably never going to go pass an A cup or get curvy unless she has kids when she's older. Students and even some teachers point out how small she is when she's at school. A few times she's gotten mistaken for being in elementary school. Even though she's in high school. My ex-girlfriend was sexually abused in childhood, and am wondering how it might have impacted our relationship. Everything was going pretty good, she trusted me, we had some amazing dates and then she said this in a text: "I can't tie myself to someone who doesn't do it for me, I'll want to cheat later. So I ended things. Is there something to her psychology I'm missing? I really loved and cared about her a lot, but felt like I had to choose between her and protecting myself ... which is so crushing when you have genuine empathy for someone. This absolutely kills me. I thought she really sent me mixed signals. There was definitely a commitment between us: I spent hundreds of dollars to see her, she always talked about me with her family, said she was falling in love, we talked about moving together with siblings. But she jabbed "Akili, you're not my man" when I pressed her on the picture because I hadn't officially met them.... It was going to be 3-4 weeks for that. Any insights would be helpful.

For women; she's a virgin as long as she still has a hymen. That's a ridiculous way to determine female worth. And of course if a woman has sex more than once, she's a lost cause....... a slut. Society is a shiitt hole for sure. In men, it's the moment a penis penetrates a vagina. And I see that virgin males are shamed more often than female virgins. It's ridiculous. No one should feel pressured into sex either. You don't need it to be acceptable to society. People, men and women, can have sex whenever they're ready. It doesn't have to be 'long lasting' nor doesn't it have to be in a monogamous relationship, it that persons CHOICE. Sex is okay to experiment with, it's your choice when you want to have it and how much you want to have it. Sex is amazing, part of human nature and connecting. It's even more ridiculous to shame people for having sex. Does it affect you? no?? Then shut the hell up. Stop treating it so highly and as a "sacred" thing.

I really hate sexism when it's so blatant. I was just walking home last night from classes to my apartment complex when it so happened that a girl happened to be going to the same apartment building, a few steps in front of me. When she realized it too she began to slow down, as if reluctant to open the front door for me (locked with keycards) as if I was a stalker. I realized what was going on, passed her and used my own card to open the door, and she slipped in too without a word. I feel that I was just labelled a creep there. Should I have, after opening the door first, forced the door shut before she could get her foot in, while mouthing "due to security reasons I can't let you in, use your own key!" No double standards from me.

Especially in the case where they're your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend??? When is the point where the power of their looks no matter works and you're so used to them that they're just another person to you now??!!
