Question: What is the Biblically correct solution? Posted: 30 Oct 2017 10:14 PM PDT A Christian woman enters a God centered marriage with a Christian man. The husband disappears for an extended period of time, and the wife assumes he has perished. The husband returns years later. Upon his return he finds his wife married to a different man. Assuming the context of marriage as a monogamous and life long commitment, which husband should she divorce? |
Posted: 30 Oct 2017 09:44 PM PDT My mom is having money issues and I have to deal with it as well, since I am 15. My mom used to be so frugal with money, in a good way. We would spend $75-100 on food a month and about $400 on bills leaving us with about 1400 extra to put in savings per month. Then, the court dropped the alimony so we are only getting about $900 a month now. My moms disabled so she cant work but now, she spends 10-15 dollars on starbucks, a day. Sure get it a couple times a month but when we are struggling like this it isn't helpful. This has been going on for four months now, and I've even started making her coffee in the morning homemade. She used to drink it all the time. Anyone give me some advice? |

Question: So my on again off again boyfriend proposed to me.? Posted: 30 Oct 2017 05:15 PM PDT Honestly I suffer from depression and bipolar illness and my decisions have gotten me into a place I m trying to get myself out of. Dealing with past drug abuse and alocholism. I m growing from those vices and dealing with what I need to head on. I turned down the proposal and asked him to give me time to get back on my feet so I can truly be the fiancé and one day wife he deserves. I know it hurt him, which I didn t mean to. But I felt like choosing this now so I can be better for myself and him was a better decision then us being unhappy while I go through my issues. Am I selfish for wanting him to ask me when I m back on my feet? |

Question: Mother in law!! What I can do? Posted: 30 Oct 2017 11:43 AM PDT I bought a small house in the country with my partner in which he lives but I, for work reasons, only go on weekends. The problem is that my mother-in-law is dedicated to changing things, bringing tablecloths and things to decorate her way and I can not be intimate with my partner because she always has to be there (when he is there because when I am alone, it does not appear) . He is dedicated to planning how he will distribute the garden. My partner gave him a key to the house in case he got confused about something and at work call and go or something (which I do not understand, but anyway ...) and is dedicated to go to drink coffee with his friends to show him the house , or simply being there ... does not answer with this every moment that has the opportunity, it takes advantage of it to tell me about my partner's ex, what it was like, what they did when they left. Once I spoke directly with her to tell her that it bothered me that she put herself in my place but she continued to do it even worse to the point of saying that I am cold and she immediately said that my partner's ex also that time it was cold ... This is something unbearable and makes me have many arguments with my partner, who tells me that I should not give him so many complaints about what his mother does that he will not say anything to avoid arguing with her What I do? Give him the choice "your mother or me?" Give us some time? Because the truth is very bad for this reason. We have been in a relationship for 4 years and this problem is getting worse every day. I do not feel like going to our house. |
Question: Is a wrong to want full custody if shared custody is not an option? Posted: 30 Oct 2017 11:39 AM PDT If you divorce and you can't make shared custody work, then is it wrong to want full custody so that you're actually getting to raise your children? What if being a parent is so important to you that you're not okay with weekend visitations? Is this a wrong reason to want custody? This question applies to both mothers and fathers. Let me rephrase what I meant. What if you yourself don't just want visitations with your children and you actually want to raise them. Because your children are so important to you. Is it wrong to want full custody for this reason? |
Posted: 30 Oct 2017 11:38 AM PDT My husband got into two fights with two guys two days in a row because those guys were looking at me while I was with him. One in a grocery store yesterday and just recently in a gas station. The employees broke them up and told him the next time they see him fight other guys (over me), they will call the police and have him arrested for aggravated assault. My husband is 6'3" and very formidable with a strong build which scares off other guys. Have you ever had (or had) a husband or boyfriend like that? He says these guys are desperate losers with blue collar jobs and thinks he's the best I've got because he has a white collar job. My parents married me off to this guy, thinking he was such a good person with a good job, good education, and the same family and cultural values. My husband is an alpha male and sensed these guys as beta losers. |

Question: Husband made a mistake. Need guys' answer.? Posted: 30 Oct 2017 08:23 AM PDT Othe other day, my husband was going to help my dad s work , on Sundays this month, and we were arguing and he said that I wont help my dad if I keep talking in a bad way about him. So I said my mom helps us out to babysit our baby while we work and she never complains but you do! And he seemed to be pissed off and he warned me not to talk in a nagative way or he was going to leave. So I told him that I had to say my mom doesnt complain because he told me he wont help my parents if I piss him off. (He doesnt usually do this. Usually he is a good listener and doesnt complain) Then he said f word to me even including my parents.- **** u all . It was nothing to do with them though! I guess he didnt like i was on my parents side. So i said did u just say **** my parents as well? He said **** them! Couldnt believe he said it. He helped my parents with money several times even though I didnt ask for it. And they have a good relationship all the time. He told me he didnt mean to say it to my parents, but towards me. And admitted that it was a mistake. My husband has lived with my sensitive personality for 8 years and has never said something like that for my parents. I know we love each other and believe what happened was a mistake but it stii hurts. He lives in my country for job and me and i know he is a little depressed with where he is living now. Should I just let it go? Should I not take it as a big deal? |
Posted: 30 Oct 2017 08:14 AM PDT I am lucky to have two kids, but I have always wanted 3. I know I'm at the age where conceiving is on a decline. I want to start trying, but I'm worried if I can't conceive how said I will be. Has anyone else been thru this? |
Posted: 30 Oct 2017 03:46 AM PDT I understand her mind is always thinking about the kids. We have small kids and she's a great mom. She has anxiety because she is planning for the next day. However I heard she was telling ppl that I took her on a "date" when I randomly showed up at her work to take her out. It's strange. If it's me and her we act like we are dating. If the kids are around, she's a different person at times. Normal? |
Posted: 29 Oct 2017 09:45 PM PDT My husband is an alcoholic. It has increasingly progressed. He claims that it's the state we live in that makes him drink. He feels that he will stop drinking if he's around more trees and bodies of water. He has continuously verbally, emotionally and sometimes physically abused me. His mother is also an alcoholic and she emotionally abuses me as well. I couldn't take it anymore and left him. He claims I am wrong and abandoned him at his lowest point. I still love him but him and her are extremely toxic and mean, especially when under the influence. He is now telling me that he will go to AA meetings and also to church if I come back. The thing is, he was drunk when he said it. I told him that I don't want him only doing this just to get me back. I want him to actually want to get help. I am just filled with so many emotions and trying to heal myself from all the abuse that I've encountered. I'm in therapy and also have been going to al-anon once a week. I don't know if I believe that he will change. This is the first time he's actually admitted he needs help, but I don't trust him. I've never seen an alcoholic get better. My grandfather was an alcoholic and he died on my families living room floor when I was 19 years old. I was the one who found him, he had a flask in his coat pocket a week after being hospitalized and told that he can't drink anymore or he'll die. My step father was also an alcoholic and a cocaine addict and still is. Is change for an alcoholic believable? |

Question: Husband sent dick pics to my parents last night? Posted: 29 Oct 2017 04:10 AM PDT I woke up to an alarming text saying, "control your husband" from my father. Apparently he got so drunk and started texting them wanting to hook up with my mom and dad. It gets even weirder reading through the things that he wrote. He says he doesn't remember doing it. But there are pictures next to me sleeping and he was recording videos of him masturbating and ejaculating. What should I do? |
