Then the bullying got to me and I couldn't continue going to that school anymore. I was having self esteem issues and other personal reasons. People would pick on me and treat my friends terribly. They would cuss and be inappropriate. I'm glad I'm home schooled, that's not the problem. I dont have any friends, I dont do any activities, and I'm at home all the time. I feel like I'm wasting my teen years. I dont plan to go to High school either, I dont think I can handle it. I dont know anyone to go with (for all my old friends dont talk to me anymore, we drifted off. Its embarrassing asking to hang out, because they have other friends and they dont care about me anymore.) I do have one very close best friend, but she has issues and doesn't really help me. I love talking to people, for I'm a Libra. But times I get shy and don't want to talk to anyone. My family gets boring to me, all I do is go on YouTube after I'm done with school work and shut myself off but going in my room for hours. I want to change, but how? I can't really do anything. My brother is rude and plays play station all the time. My mom is on her phone, and my dad works. Our backyard sucks, there is no grass or any life to play soccer or anything. Also I see pictures of my old friends going to parties and having WAY more fun than me. I try to block them so I don't have to feel bad for myself. I feel completely useless in this world. I'm boring, depressed, and have nothing to look forward too. I do have friends on my online school, but they live so far away from me. I just want to start over as a human. Lately there has been a lot of drama between two of our other coworkers,one is Jenn who is one of my best friends and the other is Caitlin who Andrea is good friends with. We were all great friends until this drama happened. I figured Andrea and I were fine because I never involved myself with any of it and went to bat for Andrea because I thought it was unfair for Jenn to give her the cold shoulder just because she is friends with Caitlin. I found out from a mutual group of friends that they were hanging out with Andrea and Caitlin for a halloween thing. I was never invited. I confronted Andrea about it and said "I heard you have plans on friday" to which she responded "what plans are you talking about?" and then I mentioned that I knew about the haunted house. She then asked who told me about it. Everything was super shady and I feel like she tried to outright lie to me. She tried to apologize and explain but I basically told her I didn't want to talk to her because she tried blaming everything on Jenn. I don't know what to do. We haven't talked in a week and we work and have class together tomorrow. Should I try to make up with her or should I forget about it because I can't trust her? Please help! |

I tend to stretch the truth to get pity from others. Like if I have a problem and it gets a little better but not fully, I'll tell my friends or someone about it (since it's still a problem) but make it seem like it's worse than it is (even thought it might still be bad). Do you know what I mean? I want to stop this because it's bothering me because I feel bad after I don't tell the truth and feel embarrassed and annoyed at myself for doing that. |

Posted: 12 Oct 2017 01:57 PM PDT We met through a mutual friend and ended up just drinking, and hanging out from Thursday night until Sunday morning non-stop, and he did cocaine. On Sunday, he's freaking out all day that he missed work. I tried to be helpful, but it was annoying. My "friend" who works with him says I encouraged him, I should pay him back money, and keeps asking me to leave. I left to school across the country and just ended up going off on both of them and blocking them. I hope they feel horrible about themselves, but part of me wants them to become better people and for him to apologize for it and for things to be resolved in a few months when I come back home. I think it is likely he just goes on these flings all the time, it is kind of a crazy amount of time to spend with someone, but he had just gotten out of a 2 year relationship. I think I can do much better than this. Their mutual friend said it's sad I'm trying to burn bridges with people who are "amazing" but they are pretty much horrible. |

Since the beginning of September, he's been absent 1-3 times almost every week! He hasn't been ill, but he said he's been skipping school because he hates it so much. He's 19 years old, and he says he hates being in a place with a bunch of babies and that he's being treated like one. He also tells me he would much rather live his life like a brave adventurer (doing adventurous things such as traveling the world, skydiving, bungee jumping, paragliding, going for a ride in a helicopter, going on a safari, etc). He also envies me because I graduated last year and got to go to Europe, and he badly wants to go there (he's never really done anything adventurous in his life). He's in year 5 because he started high school a little late (his attendance was actually really good in his prior four years). He's supposed to graduate in June, but I'm worried that his poor attendance will push him back further if it continues. How would you help him? |

Here we are in October and the playstation is still at her place. When I asked how long it would take, she mentioned a couple more weeks due to family issues. I asked if I could have it back and she was said that it was open and apart. I stated that it was taking a bit too long to fix and we started arguing. I finally stated that I wanted it back and she said I should pay her for the time she spend on it. I refused and she yelled at me and I yelled back. I've met people at past jobs where I made friends. When I was younger my judgement wasn't the greatest for choosing friends. I'm in my 30's now and I just hang out with this lady friend of mine and I'm fine with that. I still go out and be social on weekends and I sometimes I go out alone to bars and I meet people all the time. I see local bands and meet them and have a good time. I don't need a wing man. I love doing stuff like that going to bars where I don't know anyone. I live in a city so there's allot to offer. I meet women doing it this way with out a wing man. I've had friends that were bad drunks. Friends that slept with there best friends girl. Friends that treated women like **** like beat them and control them. Friends that would talk behind my back. It was time for me to move on and keep to myself and its been better this way. I find having lady friends can be better then male friends. |

Freshman year he got pretty sick, having spells of difficult breathing that would lead to him passing out, which was a pretty serious situation. Because of this, his mother made him drop out of school. She had him doing online course work, and since he was so well off in regular school, he almost graduated in less than a year but stopped with 3 course remaining. He had became too familiar with the mundane and doing nothing, that he no longer felt motivated to do anything. I've been his only friend in the 'outside world', as he keeps friends online. I caught a deal with him, I told him that he could come live with me (I'm renting my own place from some family while I'm in college, and it's going well.) but I told him he could only do so if he promised to finish Highschool and enroll in some sort of college. I got him a job with me pretty easily, and they're willing to let him work my schedule with me until he's more adept at driving. However, when he told his mother that he would be leaving she lost her cool and went on a huge rage fit and told him I'm simply using him and that I'm mentally insane. I tried to explain to her that I want to help him get his life together, but I refuse to do so face-to-face as I don't feel like getting in a screaming match with her. I intend on helping him regardless, but should I give her a face-to-face like she wants? Sorry about the error in the title, I wasn't even thinking about labeling it as a question. |

Thing is, since then I have found that she has always been controlling and telling me how I should live my life. She will tell me how to manage my money, to sell my clothes and to not make my mobile phone my idol. I have recently got lots of confidence and feel happier in myself and I have started to make more effort with my appearance and post more photos of myself on social media. When we met up she asked me why I am posting on social media again and i felt I had to justify why and she still wasn't happy with my answer. She then told me to not post all the time on social media and to not make it my idol and that it didn't matter if I hardly get likes. Thing is, I have noticed that my friend posts every day on social media and this really hurt and upset me. She never supports me on social media or likes or comments on any of my posts but she views them all the time. I find that unless she is trying to be my mother, she wants little to do with me and will often insult me. One time I was helping her out and she didn't speak to me the entire day and then said 'button up your shirt I can see your bra' On a seperate occasion, she called me lanky and she often rolls her eyes at me if I do anything wrong Why Is my friend trying to control me? |

She says she is on meds - but she's not seeing a therapist or any professionals to deal with her anxiety and depression. I've been friends with her for almost 10 years and she comes to the states to stay with me once a year or so. Her communication and her words are very strange to me. She always sounds sarcastic and always speaks passive-agressive, like she's sticking it to me in our e-mails. She also lied to me in real life, saying she was fine with me doing my own thing when she came her -- then when she got back home she complained about all of the things that bothered her about me when she was here. All of her messages sound strange and when I approached her, she said she doesn't know how else to express herself. But the interactions/comments she makes are downright selfish and odd sounding. How can I stay friends with her and be there for her if her depression causes her to respond in ways that are mean and sarcastic?? Does anyone know if depression causes people to respond this way all the time?? |

Posted: 12 Oct 2017 03:57 AM PDT I'm a girl and I like a girl (I'm bisexual) so during lunch me and my friend decided to come out to her (I'm a shy girl so I sent my friend on her and I let her do all the talking) and she yelled in our faces. SHE WAS LOUD and PEOPLE WERE STOPPING we didn't fight she just walked away after that and I was shook and embarrassed. So I went downstairs and I saw her picture on the wall and I scratched her face off the picture so the next day I got called down to the office from my first shop class and they told they saw me scratch her picture on the cameras and that she knows and how her little feelings were hurt and they told me that I have a three day suspension and they made me apologize to her even though she owed me an apology. I told them the reason why and they they even tried to victimize her by saying that "she could of gone through something bad in her life" BS but they said that they'll have a talk with her as well and tell her to be more nice to people but she didn't get punished. I tried to talk them into getting rid of the punishment but they wouldn't lit up. This girl is literally a bully! When it comes to respect you must respect me no matter what I don't care if you're dying or about your feelings. |

My friend will message me saying all of these negative things about her friend and says how irritating she is. I'll ask her why she's still friends with her and she makes up excuses like: "She's all I have in real life", "Our moms are close so I have to be her friend", and "I'm honestly just her friend for comfort purposes". She'll say all of these things to me and then be all buddy-buddy with her friend later. I don't get how to solve this problem because whenever I bring it up, she gets mad at me and ends the conversation. She's being really fake if she's only friends with her for "comfort purposes" and other excuses. How do I figure this out? Is she in the wrong? |

| Posted: 11 Oct 2017 09:07 PM PDT (I'm not going to give out any names) my friend Zoey made a fake account of her best friend and used her pictures that she found on face book.and she used Snapchat my to talk to this guy that was on my Snapchat friends list and she gave him false information that Wasn't true like I was moving in with her for a 2 months. Then she made a fake Snapchat of her best friend and told him her fake Snapchat and he then later the guy (she was talking too)found her real Facebook and the guy told The real girl what happend and now she thinks it's me(her best friend) |

My boss told me not to tell anyone, and so when my co-worker asked, I denied it. Well the office is small, and she found out and is pissed. She is making sure not only that she freezes me out, that everyone else in the office does too. I know I deserve it for losing her trust and I feel awful. I apologized and tried to explain/not defend my actions. Is there anything I can do to repair lost trust |

| Question: My Friend Might Move, And If She Does, I Might Kill Myself. What Do I Do? Posted: 11 Oct 2017 08:30 PM PDT I deal with depression and I have only 3 close friends who I trust with everything. My best friend, the person who I basically grew up with, might move away in a year or so. She said her father might get a new dentist job, which means she has to move to California. California is 6 hours away from our home in Nevada. I don't know what I'm going to do without her. I might just end it, I can't deal with high school without her. She helps me when I feel down and I help her when she feels down. We're inseparable, and the only thing that can separate us is if one of us move. I wouldn't dream or think of this in a million years. She's the only person who I know I can trust with ANYTHING. She's my closest friend. I know I need help for my depression but I don't know what I'll do without her. If she moves, I am going to kill myself. What do you suggest I do? Please don't take this as a joke because honestly I've been on a call with her and crying for the last hour and a half, and I am thinking of actual suicide. This isn't funny, at all. |

Posted: 11 Oct 2017 08:27 PM PDT There's this girl I don't talk to very much as in were not that close but she often says hi to me, asks me how I am and hugs me every once in awhile (like a friend or one arm type hug). A few days ago when I was walking to class she passed me and told me I was cute and that I'd make the perfect girlfriend then said she was joking and smiled about it all. She wasn't being rude at all btw but she said it so fast that I couldn't reply and it didn't exactly seem like she was asking me out or anything. Even in the classes we have with each other we barely say two words to each other. We're polar opposites she's loud and happy and I'm shy, quiet and come off as unsociable. Based on how open she is It would be hard to imagine her being afraid to ask me out if she did like me. Shes open about everything. So I get this impression I'm being played. She's confusing me. Anyone think she likes me or am I being played? |

Posted: 11 Oct 2017 07:49 PM PDT My ex gf and I tried being friends after the breakup, she didn't let me move on properly, kept calling, wanting to hangout, have sex, showed up at my job and even tried to get back together. After a phone call where she wanted to come over and 'cuddle', I said no. A few months later, I tried to get in touch with her, assuming we were friends, and she was really nasty to me and said all kinds of cruel things. I finally confronted her about the times she used me as a spare while she played the field, it was a vicious call. She sent me a e-mail apologizing telling him that she still really cared about me a lot, how she was truly sorry for all of the things she told me, regretted it, and that she was going through stuff at the time. I called her back, she told me that she missed me, That she still felt a strong connection with me, yet downplayed our past relationship (when we were a couple) attributing it to being 'young and naive' and that she liked some things about our relationship. She also told me how she was interested in hook ups with random people. But at the end of the phone call, I wished her good luck and happiness in life and told her goodbye. She told me that I could call whenever I wanted to talk, but I didn't respond to her offer, and just said 'bye.' After she told me bye, she stood on the line until I hung up. I honestly feel that I did the right thing. Who wants to be used? Who wants to still be friends with someone who put them through all of that? I feel like she was just going to use me as a spare/security blanket while she played the field again. Her past behavior exemplified this. Even though she said that the relationship (when we were officially a couple) because they were 'young and naive', yet she 'really cared a lot about me' and couldn't seem to let me go and feeling devastated when he finally said goodbye. Was she just trying to keep me on hold until she was done playing the field? |

As he was leaving, he gave me a hug and asked if I would like to have coffee with him someday. I casually agreed as I consider him as like a big brother. But I have this weird feeling he is hitting on me. BTW, we're bith married. |
