Off the clothesline. Our dryer broke recently so we have to resort to air drying outside and for 3 hours my clothes are soaking wet in the washer, and my sisters clothes are hanging up on the line bare bone dry and she still won't take them down, really annoying I need clothes for tomorrow. I don't want to touch her stuff but I need to dry my clothes

I dated this woman for 6 months and I was sleeping with my best friends ex at the same time. The girl I was dating introduced me to a few of her friends but we never really hung out.My ex and I stopped talking 2 months ago. The woman I was sleeping with just so happens to know my ex s friend. My ex s friend invited me to a party at my ex s friend house and I went with the woman I cheated on her with. The word got back to my ex and she told me to maintain my distance and asked why was I hanging out with her friends and some other girl. She said her feelings were hurt by that and that I should let sleeping dogs lie. What does let sleeping dogs lie mean? I told her that that was unfair but agreed to her terms anyway. Is she being fair?

I don't feel at home in my apartment anymore; hated, even. It's honestly making me feel sick with anxiety. Now I am a quiet and respectful neighbor because I know how noise affects people. But I heard my neighbors outside my open windows last night yelling about me after confronting me about some banging noises they had heard. After I told them the truth that it wasn't me, they carried on outside about how I was a liar...I didn't hear much else. I honestly hate drama and confrontation, and I've been cordial and respectful to everyone living in the other apartments within the house. What do I do - let the situation die out? Talk to them about what I heard? Talk to my landlord? I just don't know. Would anyone think it a good idea to actually knock on their door to talk in person, or no? I think that might exacerbate the situation but I'm not sure. I also don't think I could pull that off since I hate confrontation, but I thought I'd put it out there. These are the options so far: Do nothing (let the situation die out on its own), give them a letter about overhearing their conversation regarding me, talk to the landlord, or a combination of some of those. Thank you very much, I appreciate the feedback.

Hello everyone. I was in a relationship for 8 years, about 4 years ago. We had a daughter together. she is now 8. the first 6 years were great. Then i found myself distant from her for no apparent reason (my fault.) We lived together and i would just go to my moms house for a whole week on numerous occasions without giving her any reasons. I still took care of my child and paid all her bills. She was struggling but in school at the time. So she finally left me after the last 2 years of me not being fully committed to her. That's when it hit me. I realized i was being stupid and i really loved this girl, but it was too late. She moved on. She wouldnt take me back. I tried everything to get her back but still she wouldnt. She ended up getting involved with some low life guy. Who abused her mentally and physically. Well he started off great to her. She told him everything he needed to hear at first. basically gave him the blueprint for her love. told him everything i didnt do. So, they eventually have 2 kids together. one 3 and the other 4 months now. They break up. Now we have been talking for the past couple months and been on good terms. We talked about maybe working things out. only problem is im engaged now. Iam only getting married because that is what she wanted and her mom is leaving us a nice house. I am in no way a user. We have lots of fun together and i do love her. But my feelings seem stronger for my ex. What should i do? Would i look like a fool to go back?

Should a woman still make an effort to travel an hour to take the baby to his parent to see/visit??..or wait for things to get better?

I have lived with my boyfriend for a year and a half. We are engaged to be married soon. His son (who moved out two years ago) just drove five hours in the middle of the night, got here AFTER we were in bed, to drop off some belongings to store here while he goes overseas to work soon. Now a few other family members have shown up and they're all being loud in the kitchen. Am I selfish for being mad that they won't keep it down when I have to wake up for work in six hours? How should I handle this?

Lo abbiamo fatto senza preservativo nei giorni precedenti del mio ciclo (mi sarebbe dovuto venire l'8 e lo abbiamo fatto il 5) quindi nei giorni più fertili... lui è uscito dicendo "vengo fuori" poi però non e venuto proprio in quel momento. È venuto qualche minuto dopo nella mia bocca. La mattina dopo lo abbiamo rifatto ma lui non è venuto per niente invece... almeno credo... me lo avrebbe detto se mi fosse venuto dentro no??? Sta di fatto che ho un ritardo di più di 20 giorni.. dovrei fare un test di gravidanza? Mi sembra impossibile che io sia incinta ..

My friend told me she asked her boyfriend if he thinks they will ever get married and she was upset that he said "I don't know." They are still together, and she's just upset with him - she isn't breaking up with him because she needs a yes. However I think that she as setting herself up for disappointment by asking that question and putting him on the spot. I know that it's important that partners establish what they are looking for in a relationship - but i think it's not fair to ask a question like that casually. I think "I dont know" is an expected response. So is it ok to casually ask your partner this?

I told my best friend that I had feelings for him and it didn't go how I thought it would. He said that he was confused, that he thought we were just friends and he wasn't trying to understand me at all. He's been distant, hasn't been really responding to my texts or calls or invites. He asked me to leave him alone and I just can't handle it. We have mutual friends, and everyone including him keeps talking about him and his new girlfriend and it makes me want to cry. Everyone likes her, everyone thinks she's stunning and this amazing person.. I just can't stand it. I don't know why I can't like her. I just don't get it? Why would he choose her over me? How do i win him back? :(
