We recently moved to a new house in the same place, so everything is still in disarray. A couple days after I moved in, a had a couple friends over. John and James. I 've know John since 5th grade,(we both dropped out and got GED's, but we would've been seniors this year). I met James about 6 months ago through mutal friends. So we were taking turns playing my brothers PS4, but I was in and out of the room doing stuff. A couple hours after they left, my brother let me know that a video game he just got was missing. He looked EVERYWHERE but it has not came up. At first I was positive that he lost it, since we were smoking weed, I just thought he was high and forgot where he put it. We had them over a couple more times, though we never brought it up. Then my moms Kindle Fire came up missing. So sitting down with my family, we know if it was stolen, it would've been John who took it. Even though I've known him longer, James has been a better friend and wouldn't have a reason to take the game, and I don't think we would've stolen from my mother since they get along well. My mom doesn't have the same feeling about John. I asked James if he thought/saw James take the game, but he said no. Then we talked for a while and both came to the conclusion that we don't think John would take it either. John has came over since then, and I can only explain his behavior as normal. I don't know what to do, since I know if i ask him, there will be a fight. I'm not scared to fight him, even though I know I'll lose. But it's the fact that I am almost certain he didn't take it, and I don't want to lose a friend. But I can't have my family's **** stolen, so I gotta do something. I told him we just lost the connection we once had, and that we just didn t have that much in common anymore, but that s not the real reason. I just don t like his attitude. He s nice most the time , but I really have to watch what I say around him or else he gets real defensive and nasty. Anyway, I ran into him at the store about 2 weeks ago. We had a real nice conversation, and found out he hasn t hung out with anyone sense i broke of our friendship. I felt bad so while I was walking away i said feel free to text me. That was the first time we ve spoken in 8 months. About a week later he asks if i want to hangout at his place. I did. After a short while i began remembering exactly why I don t like being around him. I remember thinking, I made a huge mistake. I feel terrible saying this, but I was so much happier and stress free without him in my life. Prior to talking to him at the store I would actually have nightmares about us hanging out again and now they ve come true. I just can t do this. Next time he asks to hangout i was just going to tell him the truth and tell him the only reason I said feel free to text me is because i I felt bad, and that im not interested in hanging out anymore. Posted: 06 Oct 2017 12:30 PM PDT My friend and her ex bf tried being friends after the breakup, she didn't let him move on properly and kept calling, wanting to hangout/have sex and even tried to get back together. After a while, he put his foot down and rejected her advances. A few months later, he tried to get in touch with her, assuming they were friends and she was really nasty to him and said all kinds of cruel, nasty things. He finally confronted her about the times she used him as a spare while she played the field and it was nasty. Her sent him a e-mail apologizing telling him that she still cared about him a lot and how she was truly for all of the things she told him and how she was going through stuff. He called her back, by this time she had moved, and she told him that she missed him, that she still felt a strong connection with him and all seemed good. But at the end of the phone call, he wished her good luck and happiness in life and told her goodbye. She told him that he could call whenever he wanted to talk, but he didn't respond. After she told him bye, she stood on the line until he hung up. She's really upset and I honestly feel that her ex bf did the right thing. Who wants to be used? Who wants to still be friends with someone who put them through all of that? She keeps saying how she really messed up too that he was a good guy who actually cared about her. |

During that time, my best friend had to talk to other people and when i got back to school, I realised she was more focussed on other people. I think I subconsciously responded to the change by also talking to other people and I guess I thought I should give her some space. After some time, she would point out how we didn't talk as much anymore and at that time I didn't notice and didn't think much of it. Then when we started to drift apart, we would have conversations on not being as close anymore and how to solve this problem between us. A lot of conflicts and misunderstandings happened between us and we kept having have pointless conversations of how we needed to talk more to be close again. But the same problem keep remaining: we have nothing to talk about anymore. It's strange and sad how we use to have lots of things to talk about and were really close. In the past, she was more likely to start the conversation and I would add on to it, but now since we both obviously both have nothing to talk about, she haven't been starting it off, which makes it more harder. Now our friendship have become happy memories. Even though I feel like we have both given up, I still really want us to be close again and I think she does too despite everything. But it's awkward between us as we have run out of things to talk about. We hardly text now. What should I do? Is it really over? |

Right now our record is 0-10 and whatever my coach is doing, its not working. Not only that but there are two kids that are driving me up a tree, ones a freshman, the other is a junior. The one kid jokingly refusing to work and one who just complains about everything and I m about a inch of way of just grabbing them and hitting them both as hard as I can. what I don t like the most is half of the kids treat practice like its amateur hour and I don t like it, and the coach doesn t like it either and I feel for him, were mostly running than doing what were suppose to be doing. All of this is taking the fun out of playing sports. we have 4 games left in our season, but I m stumped and don t know what to do, What do you guys think ? |

I'm close to my parents in that that I tell them things since I live about 800 miles away. me and my coworker were talking and we both agreed that it'd be fun to be roommates. She works 3rd shift as well, but works the opposite schedule from me, Our personalities are very similiar and we're really good friends. So I told me my parents this and they're against the idea as she's a female and I'm a male. My dad was against it as is my mom as my roommate because she has two dogs. My mom threatened to never come to my house as she doesn't want dog hair on all the furniture. They keep telling me to forget the idea of having this female coworker as my roommate. So when I told my mom I'm 24, and she can't control my life decisions, she said that I'm your mom, I still control everything. She then proceeded to ask why I want a roommate (they pitched the idea of me having a roommate when I moved down here, which I denied cause I wanted to live alone) and but this time, I said it'd be fun to live with a friend, and it might be $10 cheaper in rent. Plus her working in the same profession as me, the medical profession; she understands what each of us go through on a daily basis, which a person who works a 9-5 job might not. So how do I inform my parents that their decisions don't count in this matter as this is my life and even though I'm their child, they can't control me |

SHE WAS LOUD and PEOPLE WERE STOPPING we didn't fight she just walked away after that and I was shook. So I went downstairs and I saw her picture( my school has pictures of students and decorations around the building) I scratched her face off the picture so today I got called down to the office and they told they saw me scratch her picture on the cameras and they told me that I have a three day suspension and they made me apologize to her even though she owed me an apology. I told them the reason why and they they even tried to victimize her by saying that "she could of gone through something bad in her life" BS but they said that they'll tell her to be more nice to people but she didn't get punished. I tried to talk them into getting rid of the punishment but they wouldn't lit up. When it comes to respect you must respect me no matter what I don't care if you're dying or about your feelings. |

I sat next to this guy in class and he scooted his desk over as soon as I sat down. My teacher told me to sit by these three girls at a assembly and I heard one girl tell the other girls "ugh she needs to sit somewhere else" I don't smell bad, I brush my teeth and stay clean really. I want to go to university but that won't be until next year now, in the mean time I'm going to try to do part-time college courses - but most people who go on these courses are younger people. I try to avoid staying in the house all day: I go to the gym, I walk into town for coffee, I'd go to the park to read, I look locally for free events (there's not much: small city), but it's winter so options are limited now. In any situation there's little chance to meet, talk, and build relationships anyway. I do use meetup.com - I try to go to meetups but not too often due to limited budget, even then I'm missing how you progress from talking to someone at a meetup and progressing to friendship. |

The school sent us on a five week internship overseas, and the country you go to is randomized. I got China, Shanghai. Your travel-partner is also random, they sent us in pairs of two. I got matched with a girl and we get along just fine. It's been a week and I've been crying every night at our hotel because I miss my mom and my friends. It's the first time I'm away from my family and it is so scary. Also, all my other friends we're matched with each other and most of them are in USA, and they keep telling me how fun they have. It's making me really jealous and sad. I can't enjoy anything here in Shanghai cause I'm not having fun with my partner and I'm always sad. How do people do it? I'm in highschool. I have some friends but I could tell that if we were to sit at lunch together or walk the halls together, we wouldn't be able to really start a convo w/ eachother. Don't tell me to just keep asking things about them because that never works. My sense of humor is eh. I could also tell when ppl begin to get bored of the convo. Is there anyway to make the convos more interesting? Srsly, before talking with someone, I actually have to think about what I have to say as if I was actress memorizing a script. I once even literally made a list on my phone of topics to say and WHEN I would say it. Ridiculous, I know. I feel like I'm an uninteresting and boring person who can't crack a good joke. Posted: 05 Oct 2017 09:20 PM PDT I know this series is pretty old and I don't know if anyone remembers or cares about it anymore but I still have the boxed dvd set of the lrst season and Jessica Alba just happens to be one of my fave actresses - especially liked her stuff from when she was younger...so was just wondering if anyone knows what was being done to Max's friend Tinga in that part where she was being held in a tank with tubes running out from her private parts. Just want some closure as that was to me among the show's most graphic, shocking and creepiest parts and I felt it was never sufficiently explained. |

Posted: 05 Oct 2017 09:01 PM PDT My roommate and I are GREAT friends, always laughing and doing something fun.. today we were joking around as usual, long story short I broke my ankle and I was of course being silly.. she said a joke about a girl being old and I jokingly said "old like meee, crippled with an broken ankle! Haha" she turned dead serious and said "oh my god shut the **** up. You're always so depressing" I was shocked and try to play it off.. I was like noooo laughing and saying "I'm jokinggg" she said "no you're always depressing, especially posting **** on Facebook" which got me furious because I mm always positive inspirational stuff or maybe I have a bad day and I let stuff out but that's it. We are in training now and she knows I've had a rough time here mentally but I've been doing the best I can... I thought what she said was mean. Honestly it's probably true, part of me probably is a little depressed BUT ILL GET OVER IT. Why did she just say something Like that? Should I be offended.. I've been told so much by our other friends what a fun happy person I am, even by her too.. why'd did she say that? |

It's this weekend, unfortunately this week happened to be the week I broke my ankle in our training.. so for safety reasons and due to my ankle pain levels I decided it's best I stay back at home in the dorms. Beside the doctor said.. They are sad and tried to make it possible for me to go but I told them to still go so they are leaving tomorrow. Last minute my sister who lives in Houston also, wants to come pick me up and take me toher home in Houston for sister time. She's picking me up tomorrow.. This is family so it's a different situation in my opinion.. would I be a terrible friend for going with my sister to spend time with her and not going on the party trip? Even though I can't.. will my friends be mad? |

Guy and girl whose friends with my friend, I can't get along with those two and I told my friend that so I maintained my distance from my own friend because of these two that she's hanging out with. Then there is this girl whose in my group who always thinks she's better than everybody. Today I was writting in my notepad and she walked by saying "You suppose to bring notebook to write down, not notepads." Like why is she always looking at me? why can't she focus on her own work? like bitchh your shadowing someone, follow that person and mind your own business. I feel like I am being way too nice. How to give this bitchh back to the point she'll NEVER even try with me? |

Said i was worthless and a bunch of other stuff over something that wasn't true. A rumor that went around that i never started. Now there telling me not to talk to them while we work ans not to ask to pick up my shift's. As our job we serve so that's kinda hard to do. I'm sure the costomer's could hear everything that was said as well over the counter. She was very verbally aggressive and rude and i find it very unproffessional. I tried to say i didn't to anything but they didn't believe me and won't reason with me.. so should i confront a manager about this? Or deal with it on my own? |

She likes to wear mini skirt , you know those cute skirts , and she loves to tie pigtails ( high and low ones ) . I don't judge what she wears , but there are many people in school tease her . I don't know if it's true that overweight girls shouldn't tie pigtails or wear short skirts ..... because all my friends say it does not suit her , like it look weird or funny or even disgusting on her . I don't want to hurt her feelings .... but I really feel sorry for her , as she is being laughed by others . She has no friends too .
