She seems really concerned that I m not up to par with her status quo and it bothers me because honestly I don t want to put effort into impressing her. She naturally should be impressed with me right? Why does she look at me like that? I have a full time job with benefits. I have 2 jobs, I started my own business and she looks at me like Oh My Gosh!!! Why aren t you a doctor impressing people?? I DO NOT care one bit what my status quo is or job title. I care about my benefits, and those are very very tough to find. Self employment is just as impressive right? Why does this matter to her?

There is this guy that lives in the same building as me. We've always been friendly towards each other by saying hi a lot and waving at each other. He has talked to me (small chat a few times) but mostly it's just a hi. Recently I chatted a little more than just a hi and lately, he has been acting a lot more friendly around me. He waits near the apartment gate a lot outside just to, I guess, relax which he has never done before. He is more the reserved type so he used to stay inside a lot. Also, when I park, I walk in the garage and he is there a lot. Almost every time I'm outside, he is outside now about 80 percent of the time. He either comes down to his car or is outside. I notice now on many occasions, I'll leave in my car to go run an errand, and I will come back and he will be waiting outside relaxing near the gate. I have seen him staring at me for a long time as I pull up the street, then he'll look away. I have caught him staring at me many times when I'm not looking. I'm beginning to think he is interested in me. I told my mom and she said he stares and is friendly with her too. She doesn't think he is interested in me. My mom thinks he is interested in her and is going through me to get to know her. She says he is older than me - I'm 25 and I think he is in his 40's? Then, she said he might be interested in my mom and me, but I'm getting the feeling he is interested in me. What should I do about this situation?

My boyfriend and I moved in together over the summer after dating for a while and we both LOVE it. The best part is cooking together, and having someone to sleep next to and wake up next to every day. His mother had a foot procedure done this week and he's decided to move back home for the most part for about a month. He said he'll come to our place during the weekends and some week days, but it feels like it's not necessary for him to go back to his mother (who lives 15 minutes from us) for entire month. He has a brother who he's swapping "mom watch" with, but since he and I moved in together, I've become extremely attached to him. I have plenty of things to do to occupy myself, but I am already depressed about sleeping alone and having male companionship, which I enjoy so much. How can I cope or tell my bf my emotions about him leaving for a month?

met her a few years ago while I was visiting my dad, back when I was 13. She wrote me a classic "do you like me" note. She was fun to be around and I wanted to see her again after leaving the area. I came back each year, I started living here 3 years ago at age 15, now I'm 18. Ever since we have been very close friends, everyone always assumes we were together. Here is the kicker, in a strange turn of events my dad married her grandma. Now she is my niece. This is a problem, but she is too attached to me and vice versa. She literally gets mad if I talk about staying away from her or stopping my talking to her. She (obviously) knows I like her and others tell me she likes me. I've tried to stop for 2 or more years, but I can't stop. She knows I'm trying to stop too and she agrees because due to the mentioned circumstance, it would be too weird. She makes it hard too because even with her negatives, she is still exactly what I have looked for. We mean to much to each other to stop associating though, we remain best friends. Me and my girl have been dating for 10 months. She's 18 I'm 20. When she was 16 she met her bestfriend at the time he was 21. I made her cut him off because he would always want to chill Everytime he Texted, and before she met me gave him head a couple times but said she didn't finish. During our relationship she said she had feelings for him but me threatening to leave her she then said those wasn't really feelings and she was confused .
