Question: How to get over this? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:19 PM PDT So recently I did some experiments and observational studies and discovered the obvious; women only want to have fun and a guy with some change (money). I'm going to be making a lot of money (projected at little over $300,000 in 2 years and a million in 3 years). I'm 20 years old and I own a business and plan on owning several at a time. Sell one get a few more I plan on retiring by the time I turn 35. I want 10 million and I'll be good I'll stop then. I know I'm going to "all of a sudden" become the nicest and sweetest guy ever. And it'll be the same kind of girl who acts like I'm a sweetheart and that she "loves me." And it bugs me, I wish that love was a real thing. It's obvious; what people call love is just attachment. Explainable by biology and sociology. It's really a bummer, but you know, it's life right? I need to get over the fact that there is no such thing as love and that love is not real only attachment is. How can I do this? I don't want to ponder for months over something so vague.

Question: Is it a choice between passion and love? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:16 PM PDT I'm a serial monogamist, but recently I've had casual sex with two guys and really enjoyed it - I don't want casual relationships, I want a real long-term stable monogamous relationship...but now concerned that if I have that I can't have the same passion I've felt with these casual guys. In relationships love can bring a new dimension to sex and it's more mindful, but it can be boring. In relationships it's like as soon as there's stability that eradicates any sort of passion, or of course there's the problem of getting into a relationship just to find your partner is bad in bed. It also seems the guys who want to settle down aren't as confident, the guys I've had casual sex with were very confident and ego-centric which meant sex was a lot different, they were more dominant which is what I like during sex...whereas in relationships I prefer a softer personality. Is this just a fluke, can I have both passion and love in a relationship?
| Question: Does this girl like me? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:16 PM PDT She is Italian of a mob boss really. Bueatiful smart, modest, virgin, gym freak likes rock and yeah. My bud told her I'm not like that anymore and her response is she will bring it out me, Finally we meet, but in a wrong way I'm waiting for my bud to get ready going to pick him up when this car shows up and flashes high beams and crap that hurt as at night I get pissed when my bud tells me to park around but I was mad and drove around the block waiting for him to finish eating. | Question: GUYS: Friend had a secret crush on a guy I was with? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:12 PM PDT i think i should blame the guy too. i spent a few days with a guy, and then my friend starts texting him saying i should leave the place, says i should pay him half, it's weird i was there for that many days, and spends time on the phone with him etc. she was so involved, and it gave me a bad feeling. i mentioned to him that maybe she had a crush, and he said he wasn't into her like that. he also mentioned that she gets around (she has slept with several people in the office). however, he did continue talking to her, and i feel worried that she was spreading rumors about me. he ended up talking to her on the phone instead of me. regardless, they both do cocaine and that's a big no for me. he was skipping work because of it. i ended up just blocking them both, and if they are compatible, then i don't mind, because i'm not even living in the state anymore. i just don't care about any of these people, and i go to a very good school. i'm not sure if i should be angry at him, because i pretty much burned bridges, and i don't want to be involved with him or any of that. |
Question: I need some relationship advice, what do I do? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:09 PM PDT First off I'd like to say I think it's pretty stupid that I'm asking people from the internet this rather than my parents, but throughout my life I've learned many more important lessons and social skills through the internet than my parents ever taught me. Recently a girl moved into the state from places unknown and started going to my school. I didn't hesitate to talk with her, seeing as I thought she was attractive and since she was on her second day at the school she didn't have many friends yet. In fact I was the first person to hold an actual conversation with her. It's been about two and half weeks since her arrival and I've gotten to know her quite a bit. We share a music taste and we're both are interested in quite a few things that each other do. She was in a relationship before she moved to the state, but ended it on good terms and still talks with him. We've hung out one on one quite a few times and as far as I can tell she has enjoyed it as well as myself. I'm not sure if she thinks that I'm offering to hang out in a romantic way or in a friendly way though. I'm not shy to compliment her, but once again the same issue arises. Now that you have some background information I'll get to the point. I'm really into this girl, but she seems like she's still into her ex. I've made the decision that I should wait for her to text me first over the weekend so that I don't seem clingy. Apart from that, what do I do?

Question: Do you think he truly love me or playing games? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:04 PM PDT I've been dating my boyfriend for 5 months & treats me like a queen. He's 52 and I'm 24, which makes our relationship so unique. When I met him he was living in Alabama by his self and separated from his wife. He recently signed his divorce papers since they haven't been together in 15+ years. He has kids that range in age 19-35. Him and I just had a lovely weekend traveling. He took me to many different places I've never been to. After our weekend of traveling we hung out at my place for a while. I asked to use his phone to make a phone call and his text msg popped up. It was from his ex-wife and he told her he missed her and asked if he could go over to her house. When I brought up the text to him he said that he had a random thought and missed her and wanted to see his kids... his kids are grown adults he shouldn't have to have permission to see them. I was so hurt. I felt like the entire time we shared on our trip he was thinking about his ex. He cried like a baby when I told him it was over between us. I've never seen a man cry as bad as he did. I forgave him and agreed to stay with him, but deep down inside i'm not sure if he's truly wanting me. This is not the first incident we had. A few months ago I discovered his secret Twitter account he had and was pursuing another woman. He's the most perfect boyfriend on the outside, but I always catch up him doing secret stuff and he will never admit to unless he's proven guilty. Idk what to do?

Question: Does this make me a hoe? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 07:00 PM PDT at school, whenever i talk to guys i notice their eyes straying down and lingering a bit. i pretend i dont notice, but sometimes they can be obvious so its hard. do they think i dont notice because i dont say anything, so that makes it ok for them to do it? or do you think they know i notice and still do it because they think im fine with it? i do tend to wear a lot of tight fitting or low cut shirts, not always but a lot. i notice guys looking too sometimes even when im not talking to them. does all this make me a hoe? im a 14 year old girl and im still a virgin, and ive never done anything sexual with anyone. or could it just be that 14/15 year old guys have raging hormones and im just seen as "easy" by them?
Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:57 PM PDT I like her a lot, and I don't want to make her upset or do anything that'll ruin our chances. But, when she gets upset, I feel really terrible.

Question: Boyfriend going out parties/clubs without normal? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:53 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been going out almost 3yrs we spend almost every weekend together (we have a crazy work schedule) so we don't see each other everyday. This weekend he goes out of town and meets up with his brother and friends and he posted on social media that he's at a club. I trust to an extent I know he will probably be ddancing with other girls or maybe not. Is this normal? Why does he wanna party and act single?

Question: Can someone motivate me so i can ask the girl I like out please? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:46 PM PDT It's hard for me to look people in the eyes when I'm having a conversation (unless they're my friend) and i just have a complete panic attack if im talking to someone I like. And I'm afraid I'll get roasted and made fun of by other people. I'm REALLY shy. And i don't speak much. Should I speak with my eyes like make too much eye contact on purpose? And then talk? WHAT DO I DO? It's driving me insane just thinking... "yo..man y9u cant ask her out you're to scared and too shy.. just give up"
Question: How to act in this situation? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:45 PM PDT Please read before writing your answer. Thanks. Long story: So, here's the thing: I am 17, and there's this really cute girl who sits at the same table as me in 4th period. I was moved to this new seat just days ago, which I'm guessing is because I was talking to my friend at the other table a bit too much. Anyway, I want to start talking to her and get to know her as a friend. I understand you may say something like "Talk to her like you would anyone else" but I want the first time I talk to her to give her the impression that I'm a great person to be friends with (which I am). Problem is, I'm not too experienced at talking to my crush for the first time. At least not being the one to start the conversation. She also seems pretty talkative with a friend of hers who also sits at our table. I am a junior, and she is a freshman (I'm pretty sure) if that's relevant. Any answers will be much appreciated. Thanks. In short: I sit close to this cute girl in class, and I want to start taking to her and become a good friend of hers. How can I let her know I am a great person to be friends with? P.S. DO NOT write any answers encouraging me to try to get her to be my girlfriend. She's out of my league, so no chance of that happening, first off. And second, it would definitely destroy our friendship.

Question: I think I'm a sex addict, and it's hurting my life. Help? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:39 PM PDT Hi. I'm an 18 year old girl. I've made out with probably 25 people and I've slept with 12. I dated one of these guys. 3 of these guys I had a sort of **** buddy relationship with, but the others were all for one night. I have attempted to stop having sex but I constantly fail. I don't feel happy after sex. I almost always feel sad/upset. Sex isn't about love for me. It's really about power. It's a game to me, and I need to win the game. I go after really bad guys, especially when I'm sad. My type is drug dealers, or guys that are just flat out horrible to me. I don't feel comfortable about sex really at all. It becomes a weird mix of emotions for me. It's like a high but then I eventually am on a low again. Sex just helps me feel appreciated, I guess. I'm not really capable of a long-term relationship. It terrifies me. I honestly just want to be alone. It's how I want to be. Basically I can't stop thinking about sex, having sex, and just feel controlled by sex. I was exposed to sex when I was young by a relative. I was molested, basically. When I was 15 I went on my first official date and the guy raped me and broke my nose.

Question: I (16) am Dating My sister (17)'s crush? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:38 PM PDT Here's a little backstory for context, My sister had a crush on a guy during two years, When she first met him it was her first year in high school therefore i hadn't met him yet but she wouldn't stop talking about him and how much of a bad boy he was, that made me think he's just a passing crush that she'd forget about soon. Once i got into hight school i started hanging out with him because we had some friends in common, And while he is a bit of loner he really isn't what i'd call a bad boy, heck he was kinda of geek once you got to know him, Just to say how much my sister didn't know him. After a while he and i became best friends, my sister didn't seem like she'd be confessing anytime soon, even dated someone else for a while (not anymore) . A few weeks ago we started dating. when i told my sister, oh boy was she pissed: she cried, yelled at me, calling me a traitor, saying that i dated him because i was jealous of her... ect. She hasn't been talking to me ever since, I am not sure if i should even feel guilty. Am i in the one in the wrong here? Am i beign insensitive? Should i apologise to her? (Please, don't sugest that i break up with him, I love my sister but i have my limits.)

Question: Asking out a girl at her job? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:33 PM PDT There's this girl that works at a vape shop, that I really like. They only sell pipes and things like that so its not like I can just go in everyday to chat with her. I know it's her job to be nice to all customers, but her interaction with me seemed different. I have seen attractive girls all the time but never speak up because I am too shy. And I've never asked a girl out, only been asked, again because I'm always nervous. There is only one employee working at a time and I will make sure there are no customers there when I go in. I don't even know what to say to let her know I'm interested. I've only went in once because I don't want to come off as a creep. How should I tell her I think she is cute? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:30 PM PDT I'm 17 and my boyfriend is also 17, and haven't kissed yet. He was at my house and we where snuggling while watching a movie, My head was on his chest. I felt his heart beat faster and faster but I figured it was nerves from being fairly new to the relationship and mine was doing the same thing! We both sat up and he was staring at me for a while. I laughed and said "what? That's when he kissed me. My heart was racing and I could feel his stop smiling. Both of our breaths where shaky from nerves. we've been strong for 1 year! :) Share your first/best kiss stories with me!
Question: How do I stop getting so hung-up on guys? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:26 PM PDT It's fairly rare that I like someone and can make a connection with them, so when there is something going on I go all-in and get heavily invested - unfortunately that starts from the very start. I'm still hung-up on the last two guys... One guy I dated a few months and ended it in April as he turned out to want a hareem rather than a relationship, manipulative to hide his womanizing - I still obsessively check his social media accounts. Another guy was a one-night-stand but he asked me to date, he seemed genuine but ghosted after our date, seems he used me for sex - we only knew each other a week, but I still feel bad about 'losing' him. I get my hopes up far too quickly, and get too excited. I end-up taking months to 'get over' people. I know I shouldn't be getting this emotionally invested so early, but this is just how it's always been.

Question: Advice about this guy? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:16 PM PDT So I met this guy on a dating app after three weeks of talking. The first date went really well. He texted me after the date and said he has a great time and it went exactly how he expected after us talking for those weeks. Well the last three days he hasn't been talkative as much and asking me questions. He said earlier in the week that he wanted to have a second date next weekend. I don't really want to bluntly ask him why he's been different but it's bothering me. Advice??
Question: What is wrong with my friend? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:16 PM PDT My friend and her ex bf tried being friends after the breakup, she didn't let him move on properly and kept calling, wanting to hangout/have sex and even tried to get back together. After a while, he put his foot down and rejected her advances. A few months later, he tried to get in touch with her, assuming they were friends and she was really nasty to him and said all kinds of cruel, nasty things. He finally confronted her about the times she used him as a spare while she played the field and it was nasty. Her sent him a e-mail apologizing telling him that she still cared about him a lot and how she was truly for all of the things she told him and how she was going through stuff. He called her back, by this time she had moved, and she told him that she missed him. She told him that she still felt a strong connection with him. She told him that the relationship happened because they were 'young and naive' and that she liked some things about their relationship. But, she also told him how she was interested in hook ups with random people. But at the end of the phone call, he wished her good luck and happiness in life and told her goodbye. She told him that he could call whenever he wanted to talk, but he didn't respond. After she told him bye, she stood on the line until he hung up. She's really upset and I honestly feel that her ex bf did the right thing. Who wants to be used? Who wants to still be friends with someone who put them through all of that? I feel like she was just going to use him as a spare/security blanket while she played the field again. Her past behavior exemplified this.

Question: Does this girl I like, like me? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:15 PM PDT Me and this girl have been spending more time with each other as things have been going on. We know each other from school. So, we first met, after about a week or two she said something to me about her boyfriend and her. Before this I already thought she liked me a little bit, but that made me think she didn't. Now over a month has passed, and she hasn't said anything to me about him. She acts like she really likes me too. Smiling, laughing, grabbed me a time or two. But I heard she's still with this guy. I just don't know what it means when a girl does this. Does it mean she likes you?
Question: Should I ask her out? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:14 PM PDT There's a girl I want to ask out. I'm totally confident. Except, I'm having a licensing issue right now and I can't drive. So she would have to pick me up. Possibility of her liking me enough anyway? I'm working hard to fix my problem. I really want to ask her out. And I don't want another man asking her first.
Question: Why is he acting like this? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:13 PM PDT If ex didn't want to get back together why can't he take his eyes off me?? I go to church and he keeps looking at me and everytime i turn around he's looking at me. I was leaving and turned around and saw him looking after me. Why does he keep doing it?(He had told me he didn't want to get back together than that Sunday I went to church and the above happened... if he said he wouldn't let himself have feelings then why keep looking?
Question: Could my friend be a vampire? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:13 PM PDT Recently I've noticed my friend has been zoning out a lot and she would occasionally lick her lips, more like her teeth. Sometimes she would be looking at someone or myself when she does it. Her eyes change from semi-blue to blue-green, but also green-red when she does it as well. Sometimes it looks as if she's not breathing. I know my question might sound crazy, but is it even possible for her to be one, or could she just be acting somewhat like one?

Question: I am SO confused as to why my friend cared I hung out with her co-worker? Posted: 06 Oct 2017 06:08 PM PDT First of all, I know my friend has hooked up with 4-5 guys at her work, and they are allowed to date each other. They also drink with one another and have done cocaine together. I met one of her co-workers, and he texts me to come out. I end up hanging out with one of the guys. He was obviously into me too. She got weirdly involved in this. She said I could have chosen any guy except her co-worker, when he chose me too! He spent a bunch of money, and she said I should pay him half. This guy did a bunch of cocaine, and then I found out he did it the next weekend again. When I got angry at him about this, she went to one of my friends and texted her that I texted someone at her work like 50 times. This was true, but she left out the part that he and I hung out with each other for 3 days? I am SO confused, considering just because he is a co-worker, doesn't mean he is above me? This is so dumb, and I think it shows she is not a good friend. I don't understand how she can sleep with co-workers, but then when I do it it's huge ordeal. I ended up blocking her because it was just strange. She literally had nothing to do with the situation. It was throwing me under the bus and as if she was trying to impress him when somehow sleeping with her co-workers is acceptable??

Posted: 06 Oct 2017 05:57 PM PDT She thinks I should expect success even though the reason I currently don't is because it was tremendously ineffective before... Not sure at which point experience trumps optimism.
