I like this girl in my college class and I was the first one to initiated all contacts. I asked her out to hang, but she rescheduled on me, which we never hung out, so I'm like whatever. Here's the facts: -I've had boyfriends in the past but I always ended it when it got physical because I suddenly lost interest. -I've never had a crush on someone. -I do have sexual desires, but when I think of actually fulfilling them with someone I know, I get really uncomfortable. -I have never felt the emotions surrounding "romance" (melting heart, butterflies, etc.) In fact, the thought of kissing gives me anxiety. -There was only one time when I enjoyed a kiss. So I think this is going to sound weird. I am in high school, and there is a guy I like. He's out of my league, but whatever, I'm not really affected. Anyway, I've realized that in almost all of the classes we're in together, he'll stand by the door for the bell, but when it rings, he won't walk out the door, until I am there, and he'll walk right in front of me. First off, I waited for my best friend all day to text me so we could do homework together and he never did. So it was a huge slap in the face. I fell asleep while waiting for him and eventually texted him I was gonna do hw without him. When he texted back I ignored for over 10 minutes. Is my love for my ex worth taking the chance at losing my distance to my family, friends and past? I love him more than anything, but my family is so judgemental and I am doing this to better both him and I which they don't understand and won't try to comprehend.... my friends hate all of my exs no matter what.
