Question: Should I pry my husband about this? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 09:33 PM PST My husband has mentioned twice that he and his ex wife had an abortion. And he's expressed that it was horrific, he regrets it, he wishes he hadn't done it. I have questions about it. Not consequential questions necessarily. Just curiosity and wanting more details. Is it appropriate to pry? Or should I just let it be and not ask him to answer possibly difficult questions, just to satisfy my curiosity?
Posted: 09 Mar 2017 08:14 PM PST I just found out that I have Visual Snow Syndrome. I see black spots in my vision and have ringing in the ear. I tell my husband the news. And I am describing the symptoms and he goes I have that too. To each symptom. I have been married to him for 10 years, Hes never told me he has ringing in the ear or sees visual snow. Is this narcissism or just being weird.
Question: My wife is all talk and no action. What do I do? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 06:51 PM PST My wife loves me dearly. Anything I need her to do she does it and more and she's thoughtful. The problem is We don't have anything in common and when I try to get her to try some things that I like such as working out, volunteering, or being social she doesn't want to do either and gets mad when I won't stop asking her. She's fine with staying at home. I mean she will go to movies and stuff but other than that nada. I asked her what her "thing" was today and she doesn't have one. She has no ambition or any desire except to be a great mom by taking care of my step daughter and my soon to be son. If we didn't have a nickle to our name she'd be fine with it as long as the kids are taken care of. I bust my *** working 2 jobs and doing online school and she can't even sit her *** home and do some homework on the computer while her daughter is in school. Its old and I realize we have nothing in common and she is lazy. Doctor put her on bed rest and the first thing she says is "now you cant bother me about working out." I really feel as if she's feeding off of me. One minute she wants to do medical stuff, then dental assistant, then teaching, then this and that. She's 29 years old and I'm losing my attraction to her. It's like she sold me a lemon. I got head every other night, she was in school and working and then nothing. Its old. Im going to try counseling again and I want it to work. It's just that there's no partnership and I don't even want to have intercourse anymore. WTH
Question: Husband's controlling behavior impacting my job, what can I do? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 05:46 PM PST My husband happens to work in the same industry as I. He is also incredibly controlling and opinionated + annoying. If I do not "listen to him and obey his God given role of leader over me" he makes my life miserable. He has begun to call me verbally abusive names and tell me my co doesnt know what they are doing training wise (new job) and he knows better. I was crying at work and of course the boss asked why (when I was leaving to go home), I realize I should have "checked it at the door" but my husband started the verbal tirade while I was @ work via text. They asked me questions- and I ended up telling them how much of a psych/control-freak/manipulative/cheater he really is. My grandma chastised me and said no matter what they asked, I should have not told them. What should I do? I am embarrassed- but he keeps telling me I am dumb and a woman who doesnt understand this male dominated industry. I texted my boss and said I am sorry I was angry, but I need the proper training to do my job and with co workers constantly interrupting, I cant learn what I need to learn. My husband says he wont get counseling, will take every dime I have, and it was my fault he cheated. He also threatens to cheat again if I dont do what he says. So, of course I am crying at work because he texts me and provokes me and now my bosses and a few friends know all of business.
Posted: 09 Mar 2017 04:54 PM PST This is what it says to get married in Lakeland, FL. Couples are required to pay a $93.50 fee for a marriage license in Polk County, and will need to marry within 60 days of receiving their license. If a couple opts to engage in pre-marriage counseling, their marriage license fees are reduced to $61.00. If one or both of the parties wishing to marry are Florida residents, there will be a mandatory three-day waiting period between being issued their marriage license and being married. Non-Florida residents do not have to observe this waiting period. Couples who have attended a premarital preparation course will not have to wait to marry. All couples will need to bring a valid form of ID for a marriage license.
Question: Is monogamy normal? Is it wrong that I don't want to be tied down? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 04:42 PM PST I love my husband but I am interested in other men. I want to explore sexual relationships with several other people. I want him for my life partner but I also like variety. I'd never cheat on him but I still have fantasies and urges. Is it normal?
Question: Do you think cheaters and adulterers lose their best friend? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 03:56 PM PST Because if someone is emotionally attached to you (obviously this isn't love just codependent strong feelings) if you go and cheat on them you lose them who was your best friend when you started dating.

Question: Stuck without power and husband went on vacation...? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 01:59 PM PST My husband has been planning a trip to Mexico for the past month with his friends. Before he left we lost power and I don't expect the power will be back till at least Sunday or who knows...I have 4 children under 5 years old and I'm staying at his parents house for now. I'm starting to feel irritated that he went. He hasn't even called to check on us. I want him to have a good time but I'm feeling resentful. Am I being unfair by thinking this way? Thanks for your input in advance!
Question: Is my ex husband ruining my relationship? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 10:58 AM PST I have children with my ex husband. My ex husband has issues I'd rather not get into and whenever there is a family event scheduled where my ex husband will be my boyfriend will not attend. My ex husband also calls daily and asks me how the kids are, wants to speak to the kids and also asks how I am doing. My ex husband also will not take his kids and instead will come over to my place to see them. This has made my boyfriend back off when it comes to his involvement in my life. He used to be interested in getting married and living together but has backed off lately. My boyfriend also used to take me on vacations and treat my kids to things but has stopped. Is it because of my ex husband?

Question: Advice on an alcoholic husband? Posted: 08 Mar 2017 11:23 PM PST I ve been married to my husband for a couple years, he would drink occasionally but now it s an everyday thing, and maybe once a month he goes & binge drinks for 2days strait! trust me I ve talked to him, cried to him told him how much it hurts me bc his actions when drunk aren t the best, he s not abusive but can get verbally abusive if you get in his way, I ve told him everything I can possibly think of, he sometimes agrees w me at the time of our conversations (while sober ) but at the hour that he starts drinking it seems like everything we ve talked about is gone -means nothing to him .. I guess what I m seeking for here is just advice? maybe from another man? Is he depressed? (I ask myself why or how? We re fine) or is it that he just isn t Inlove anymore & can careless about my feelings...

Posted: 08 Mar 2017 11:13 PM PST For reals tho like my ex was tracking me down, sent me 4 follow requests in Instagram when I declined it...Could it mean he's obsessed or something? | Question: Got married early, missed out? Had kid? How do we deal? Posted: 08 Mar 2017 10:06 PM PST My husband and I have been together for 11 years. I married when I was 19 and he was 22. We have gone through alot and we just had our first child at 10 years. Don't get me wrong, our son is our priority, and he is the JOY in our lives and the is the BEST thing that has happened to us. I think we both agree that we got married early and there's a part of both of us that is empty because we got married early and missed out on alot of our early 20's. (Also to mention I don't have a lot of friends because I was married and being a supportive wife. (I come from an Asian culture) How do I (us) deal with this while giving my full support to our son? |

Posted: 08 Mar 2017 12:14 PM PST I'm very in love with my husband, but he has been displaying signs of BPD. He often sees things in a very strange/illogical way and he tells me I am at fault for his strange and explosive outbursts. I've been going to marriage counseling alone (in hopes I can figure out how to work with this) because he refuses to go . He won't seek help nor does he think anything is wrong with him. I don't know what I can do anymore. We are expecting a child and I'm terrified this kind of behavior will do permanent emotional harm to a small child. I want to be with him, but I'm afraid he won't get help. Will telling him that I suspect he has BPD cause permanent harm to our relationship or may it cause him to reevaluate and get help for his disorder? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I didn't love him so much I would've already left. He's never physically abused me, but he regularly emotionally abuses me. My life has completely changed since we've been together. I am isolated from my family and my friends, and he doesn't like me to go or do anything without him there.
Posted: 07 Mar 2017 10:17 PM PST I'm 25, Indian. Ive never been in a relationship as I always gave priority to my studies. Now that I have graduated college, my parents want me to settle down. In not convinced to settle for an arranged marriage while everyone I know is marrying for love. Should I give in and just go with arranged marriage? Is it any different from the previous generation? Why get married at all?
