So this guy I used to love, who acted like he didn't reciprocate my feelings, called me out of the blue after 4 years. He left a 7 second blank voicemail. I texted him and asked if he meant to call me. He said "Hey, sorry, must have been a mistake. Hope all is well!" Do you think he meant to call me after all this time, or did he just butt dial me? Why would he keep my number after four years anyways?

Most of the popular people I know who hang out in groups tend to be drama and do a lot of back biting amongst one another yet if you really need someone to talk to or be there they aren't around. I've quit hanging or with them because I find it exhausting, catty and shallow but I feel like a weirdo for feeling this way. Is this normal?

I've been struggling to get over this affair for a few years. We are both married but are in love with each other. We've never slept with each other. Just the emotional ties are very strong and we've been intimate in other ways. We both have families and I know affairs are the worst. I finally put an end to it and I know he was miserable. Recently after 6 months of not seeing each other or talking , I ran into him at a work event where he brought his wife. I was alone for the work event. When he saw me he couldn't stop looking at me. I completely pretended like I didn't know him. I saw him yet wouldn't even give him a second of my attention. He ended up walking up to me with his wife and introduced her to me. I was shocked as I didn't think he would ever do this. Why do you think he did this? My guess is either I'm just so confused. What are your thoughts? I just know how strong our feelings are and seems like they are still all there. But I've made a determination to end the affair as I don't want it to ruin our lives just like all affairs. My boyfriend and I are both divorced and were single parents..we have been together almost 5 years, bought a house, kids are doing great as stepbrothers. He started talking to another girl the day after he broke up with me...who is not someone he would ever go after she has two babies at home and ours are older (he doesn't like kids very much) Everyone keeps telling me to let the meds wear off. He says its not the meds, he hasn't loved me for a long time and he wants to be 'friends' which means live in the house with us and do nothing. I went from a very loving relationship to nothing in a snap and I want to leave. The doctors tell me to wait. Please help me figure out how to get through this. I could easily put our stuff in storage and my son and I can go stay with family. Should I leave? We go to a therapist Monday to see if there is answers. He keeps telling me to wrap presents and wants to spend time with me, but if I try to hug him he freaks out. So I leave him alone. And this is just the most horrible experience ever. Please help.

I'm 14 and sometimes random adults smile at me when I only look at them for a really short time. I mean, smiling is the kind of thing people do when toddlers stare at them but I'm not a little kid staring at random people, why do people do this?
