Question: Why are there kids and teenagers being disrespectful towards their elders? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:57 PM PST My grandmother was watching the Maury show (for those that don't know, a talk show that discusses the issues in a family's life), and I heard a story of a couple of teenage girls being defiant and disrespectful towards their parents, and I'm desperate to know the causes of these situations. |
Question: Girls who drive would you have done this? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:43 PM PST I just got home from taking my sister to her friends house. Since it was warm out and I did not go in anyplace and came right back home I drove in my bare feet and did not bring my shoes. |

Question: Heath risks of sticking things in ur butt.? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:26 PM PST I caught my brother sticking a top of a plastic candy cane shaped top in his butt while he was jacking and im scared if hell get and infection or something I know he not gonna get like an STD or HIV or anything like that. And I asked him was this the first time he said no. He said he has stuck a end of a razor in his butt. Can he get and disease or sickness or infection. He is 12 so i guess he's experimenting him self. He is not as worried about like i am. |
Question: My mother thinks I hate her? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:24 PM PST I spend most of my time home locked in my room and my mother thinks I hate her because I don't go and indulge meaningless conversations with her and my brothers because most of the time we end up fighting over differing opinions. I hate the way she raises my brothers because she literally allows them anything, which resulted in my baby brother (8) not being able to tie shoes, or wiping his own *** after pooping not to mention being slightly overweight (she keeps buying him candy). What she doesn't realise is that I don't hate her, I just disagree with her and when I say this to her she says I'm lying and says that my dad had 'brainwashed me', and his raising methods restrict us way too much and that we have this 'enormous inner pain' and because of that we 'feel the need to lash out'. (My parents are divorced, my brothers and I are living with my dad.) What do you think I should do to make her understand that I don't hate her? |
Question: My teenager daughter is too innocent for her age. Is she normal? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:19 PM PST She just turned 17 last month and she's still very childish. I don't mean it in a bad way, she has very good manners and doesn't cause any trouble, but she's so different to everybody her age. She's very smart and does well enough in school, but she still plays with dolls, draws and colors and watches cartoons, like Barbie and Totally spies. She's not immature, she's actually very mature and gives better advice than me, but there's something about her that is just so innocent. She's never had a boyfriend, a kiss or a date, shows no interest in boys besides random TV characters (though she'll never admit it) She has social anxiety disorder, spends a lot of time on her own and doesn't have any friends. She's never been to a party or anything and doesn't dress up or wear make up. She has a more adult side too, she likes watching horror movies and creepy documentaries about ghosts and serial killers, she likes comedies and reading. Sometimes she seems sad and fed up but most of the time she seems happy and smiley. She likes to sing too. Her taste in music is weird too. She only seems to listen to old music and music is foreign languages. She'd never listen to Beyonce or Lady Gaga. |
Question: Should I reconsider getting my son circumcised at 14? How long does it take to heal? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:16 PM PST My 14 year old son has got an infection under his foreskin. Now the urologist has told me that circumcising him right now is recommended even if he doesn't like to get it done. A boy who does not use proper hygine should be circumcised. It has many health benefits for the boy. So I searched about circumcision online and read the Wikipedia article "Circumcision". I also visited the circumcision information site circinfo.net. Circumcision also decrease the risk of HIV by 60%. Though I am circumcised, I didn't circumcise my boys. And now I understand that enough is enough. I have a very good sexual life with my circumcised penis and it appears as circumcision doesn't adversely affect sexual life in any way. It has some benefits those my son needs. It will be a lifelong gift for my son. As my son refused to cooperate, we have to force him to visit hospital or nurses will sedate him at home to take him to hospital. The urologist will take care of the rest as he said. My question is how long will it take to heal. Please no anti-circumcision activists here. About my son's personal freedom, no, I know which is good for him now and which is not. I will not agree with him if he doesn't want to go to school as I know that going to school is beneficial for him. So the circumcision shoulld must be carried out now. |
Question: My mom kicked me out? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:15 PM PST My mom and I have a difficult relationship and it's very bad lately. She kicked me out today so I need to go stay with my boyfriend. Only problem is I'm in a contact with work which is nearly over but I need to get out of it to go live with my boyfriend. Is there any way to do this? And no, I can't stay with my mom until my contract is up. I need to go now. |
Question: Overheard my parents discussing divorce. Should I confront them? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 01:11 PM PST On Christmas eve (technically Christmas morning seeing as it was at 1AM) my parents got into another argument, but this one was much more serious than the ones in the past. They were discussing divorce, my mom all for it and my dad disagreeing, saying he wants to save the relationship. The fight went on for at least a solid hour and a half. My mom saying there was nothing left to save, and that this hasn't been a family in years. I'm a 14 year old girl with a 17 year old brother, and a 13 year old sister. My parents have been married for 18 years. I know they fight a lot, but this time was honestly different. It was like my mom was just so exhausted with the marriage. I know things have been rocky for years, but divorce always seemed so far out of reach. Should I confront them, and tell them that I had heard them? They weren't loud, they were actually whispering, but the house was quiet seeing as it was 1AM and everyone was asleep. They're now pretending like everything is ok, even though it's not, I can tell. Are they or aren't they getting a divorce? Not knowing is slowly but surely killing me. |
Question: Relatives hate me! Help? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:47 PM PST since small I ve grown up with them my dads side then cousins and now after dad left us and married of 2 another women s of his sister and parents choice my cousins started hating me for no reason and we have even had fights on social media well they started saying **** personal close things and I act like I don t care and **** but I do miss them what shall I do ? Question: Why does she enjoy talking to me? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:25 PM PST This older lady has helped me with a lot, were very close friends. She's always keeping up with me and calls to talk about life or helps me with schools advice, we talk about anything and everything, the other day she called and we talked for an hour! She said she always enjoys talking to me on the phone, why? Is it good that I can get along with someone whose 3x my age? I just find it not weird but odd how she's so much older than I am, yet likes talking to a younger person |
Question: Should I not have contact with my mother? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:04 PM PST My mother wants to be involved in my life but doesn t play fair what can I do? My mother wants to be in my life but I have not been in touch with her for over a year, because of her childish narcissistic behavior. She took care of me as a child to a decent level yes but as soon as she had a boyfriend suddenly I was on the back burner and she deserved a life. This even went so far as to not show up my wedding because I didn t allow her to be the maid of honor. that s a short description. as an adult I ve kind of lowered contact but she keeps trying to get back in now that I have kids and I try to tell her that this hurt me when you did this and I feel a lack of trust. When I do she doesn t apologize just tells me to stop being childish and refuses to listen. Then tells me I m horrible and then drops me for six more months then tries to reappear. I really want her to either try to mend fences and show some respect or just not contact me. but she won t do either. š |
Question: My parents think I'm anorexic and are threatening me!? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:01 PM PST I'm a female who is almost 21 years old. I'm 5'4" & about 110lbs. I'm on the smaller side for my weight, but I'm not underweight, & I'm not actively trying to lose weight. I was about 125 in high school, & have lost around 15lbs since then due to eating healthier, more exercise, & stress from college. I'm now home for winter break and my parents, especially my dad, thinks I have an eating disorder even thought I've told him a bunch of times I don't and I'm healthy. He's now threatening to not let me move into an apartment for my senior year, forcing me to read about eating disorders, and is taking me to the doctor this Friday so he can tell them everything he thinks is wrong with me. My father is not exactly a very compassionate person; since thinking I have an eating disorder he's been yelling at me, telling me I have a problem and need to grow up and accept it so I can get help. He does not care to hear what I have to say, and doesn't care that my weight is normal and I've always been told that I'm healthy when I go to the doctors office. I'm only hoping that this Friday the doctor will tell him I'm perfectly fine, but I'm worried he won't listen to her either. What can I do? I am unfortunately financially dependent on my parents at this point; I do have a job but it is not nearly enough to afford college, housing, etc. I don't take their financial support for granted and know I need to comply to requests from them for that, but I feel that this is completely out of line. |
Question: How can I cease regressive thinking? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:00 PM PST I am an adult, that has worked in a career, lived on my own, and had a social life. However, since suffering a massive stroke I have been placed into an inferior position. I'm not allowed to drive, be on my own, and I live with my Parents all over again. Because of being placed(forced) into the position of a teenager or child, I find my thinking following suit. I have become bitter, angry(sometimes with Parents) and at times immature. Except I'm a grown up accomplished woman! How can I escape this line of thinking and/or the horrid circumstances? |
Question: My 8 year old step son was given a cellphone for Christmas from his mom...? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:00 PM PST First off, he lives with us and we care for him financially etc. He sees her on breaks from school and weekends. We don t deny her talking to him, she never calls to talk to him, etc. But she got him a cellphone for Christmas, and I think it s just absurd.. I m not sure if it s a smart phone or what, but he s texting me and my husband... like why the ****. We already have enough problems with him as it is, trying to get him to respect people, that s a different rant. Simply put he s a spoiled brat and after him being forced to say thank you to everyone on christmas and not one time did he tell his dad or I thank you once, for anything this is just the straw on the camels back. And I m about to have a mental break down, his father and I are on the same page... about the problems, my husband has tried multiple times to talk to his sons mom to get on the same page but she doesn t care and says there isn t anything wrong, he doesn t do this or that, or she admits there s a problem and doesn t do anything about it. Or even try... Like why would she think a cellphone is even slightly okay for an 8 year old, that doesn t listen and is disrespectful every chance he gets, and it s been broken in the past and he was doing so well and it s like something happened and ugh. She thinks it s funny he is spoiled she says it and laughs about it... What do i do.. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:51 AM PST I have a aunt that is very jealous of me and my family. Two years ago I went through this weird dark fades and I couldn't even explain it. At the same time that was happening my parents I thought were almost going to divorce. My mother call a man that we know from my grandmothers church (Christian). So when he started to pray I believe he ask god he is doing this or trying to do bad to my family. Now as he was praying the vibes became so strong and my aunt that hasn't call in years pop up on the phone. Then this man started to pray for safeness and peace and we started to pray out loud and outta the blue all these things started to happen like something did not want us to pray. Now two years later I felt that weird dark fades come on again and plus out of no weird I feel like if my brain shut down and I got a horrible image in my head of me stabbing my sister, and then such a feeling was drawing me to get the knife. I got the knife but only to say out loud please god, and to show I didn't want to do anything. I told my mom and then after that got the feeling to do the same to my mom and it gotten really bad. Now I feel it less but it's like a negativity or something still trying to make me do wrong. I never in my whole life got something like this, and I just found out my aunt is staying near me where I live. I know I sound crazy but I'm not and I know this isn't me and now after week I feel it going away a little but still have it and it's not normal |
Question: Can i move in with my grandma when im 13? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:50 AM PST My parent's are always fighting and im tried of it and honestly i want them to get divorced. Question: Parents having sex in living room in front of sister? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:24 AM PST I went downstairs and walked in the living room to see my mom on top of my dad with his dick out and inside her. Right in front of my 4 year old sister. What should I say? They've done this before. Like at thanksgiving 6 years ago they snuck into the bathroom and I'd say it was very audible to say the least. I'm embarrased to be around them. |
Question: I m not allowed to get my lisence? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:23 AM PST I ve known for a long time that I wanted to drive, and more recently that I will need to drive a lot very soon. I got my permit on time and have been talking to my family about getting my liscense very seriously for months. We were even close to making an appointment a few days ago, but yesterday they all told me that I wasn t ready and wasn t a good driver (citing things they have never mentioned) and are now making me do driving school before I can get it and it has all come out of the blue. I may not be ready to drive 40 miles on heavy traffic alone, but I think I am ready to have my liscense. I m also really disappointed because at the driving school they just administer the tests st to you and give you a certificate to take to the DMV, so I don t even get to take the driving test. Is ther anything I can do? |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:03 AM PST He gets angry really easily, he'll scream at me as loud as possible and sometimes hit me or push me. He slams doors and stomps and swears at me, only if I do the tiniest thing wrong. |
Question: My sister is 22 and bosses everybody around how do I react to get her to stop? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 11:01 AM PST I'm 30 and she's obnoxious and very hard to like. Unfortunately she's my sister so I'm stuck being nice door how do I react to her bossy but Haviar and temper tantrum's? My mother just enables it by giving into her demands. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:59 AM PST The aunt won't have anything to do with her daughter because the daughter was a rough high school stead. Briefly the aunt tried to reach out and the daughter did not reciprocate so they have continued to be better at each other for four years now. My parents and uncle continue to reach out to her daughter which infuriates the app. Therefore we do not see her other three kids Who are adults but worship their mother. Set of these feud usually end overtime or do they usually last forever? |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:57 AM PST Asking her to stop does not work I have tried |
Question: Why did my mom forgive my dad for cheating? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:57 AM PST My dad cheated on my mom 3 times with 3 different people and the first two times he actually apologised but this time he was gone for almost a whole year and cheated on her with this 19 year old who is the same age as me. |
Question: Why you cannot trust cowards? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:52 AM PST I learned that you cannot trust cowards quite recently. Don't get me wrong, I do not expect people to be confrontational, resort to violence and be belligerent. People like that has psychological issues if you ask me. However, I do expect you to take up for yourself (in a respectful manner), be able to tell a person you want nothing to do with them, and/or remove yourself from a situation. My mother is the ultimate coward, and has showed me that cowards cannot be trusted. From what I see, cowards are two faced. They tend to play sides. They'll be on your side in your face, be on the next person side when you're not around, etc. Cowards cannot think for themselves. Coward tend to "go with the crowd". My mother is very two faced and cannot be trusted. She has never taken up for herself. Growing up, she never even taken up for my siblings and I. That is why we are always so quick to take up for ourselves, because my mother never would do it for us. My grand mother is a very verbally abusive and aggressive person. She treated my mother like trash, and my mother allowed her to treat us like trash. Whenever she would treat us like trash and talk down to us, my mother advice was "to not say anything". See? The biggest ******* coward! The reason why she treats my mother like this, is because she do not take up for herself you! I really cannot stand my "mother", because she helped make my ******* life difficult. |
Question: Am I making the right decision? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:51 AM PST I am a person who has a burning desire to explore the world, experience things people only talk about doing. (Heck At least move from cold weather). I am a Major Adrenaline junkie! But in reality I won't go anywhere, instead i feel "stuck", have issues with self destruction, and a constant craving for change. I stay because i am my immediate family's rock. My mom & dad are both aggressively suicidal, my step dad (been around since i was 2) is now derailing also. Intensity EX: 3 days ago she called couldn't breathe, crying, scared she overdosed (prescriptions). In City limits at 3am going 85mph in a 35mph, ran 5 red lights. While trying to calm her, 2 blocks out she fell silent (She's ok) they say to live MY life, they will be ok, and i shouldn't be the 1 drowning to hold them all above water. Yet I refuse to, my heart & soul won't let me. I fight my own issues alone & keep'em all afloat. As my life crumbles around me, I smile to keep illusion "I am okay". Am I wrong for this? |
Question: Birthday caption for an Instagram pic for my sister in her brother I want it to be good? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:33 AM PST |
Question: Who deserves more respect stay at home Moms or working Moms? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 10:26 AM PST Study after study confirms that stay at home Mothers are often more depressed, angry, and sad then their working counterparts. Why? Well, because they literally have no life! My Mother tends to be very insecure, needy, negative, and jealous of my Father. Because He gets to leave and go to work while She stays home. To top it off She hardly ever cooks or cleans, so She's not even good at being a housewife! I think before I was forced to live with my Parents(due to a stroke) She got away with laying around all day. Therefore, She is always "stressed," from having to do so much work now a.k.a function like a productive human being. Even as I write this She has chosen to lay in bed after getting up at noon because She's "stressed." This after complaining that my Dad gets to leave the house and go to work while She's stuck here. My whole life(I'm 32) She has stayed home while He goes to work. Yet, as a now adult I've observed that She is as lazy as ever. I know She's older(52) but it has been a life of not taking care of Herself(and now the house) hanging out around the house, and now complaining about how awful Her life is. Did I mention, She is also quite fat? That only makes Her laying around and complaining about perceived "working so much," seem ridiculous. I know my Father thinks She's lazy too. |

Question: Whats wrong with my brother? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 09:52 AM PST My brother is 17 and he acts seriously weird. He has strange delusions, hes obsessed with chaos and destruction, he can go from sad to angry too happy in a matter of minutes for no apparent reason,he feels very Lil empathy towards people,he is mean an manipulative towards most people but very loyal too others,he loves seeing things broken and people hurt,he goes berserk when pissed (breaking things, screaming out extremely obscene things, hurting himself and others.), he has no sense of shame, and at times he is very anxious. He has recently started using drugs but he was like this before the drug use, the drug use has just made this behavior worsen. Our parents haven't had him checked for any mental issues. What could be wrong with him? Like I said he was always like this, drug use has just worsened it. |

Question: How to politely decline a vacation invitation without having an excuse to decline? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 09:07 AM PST My M-I-L has recently invited me to go with her to visit her niece in another state. I know and very much like the niece, but the thought of having to spend an entire weekend with my my hubby's mom makes my skin crawl. She is a nice woman, but we are exceptionally different people with virtually nothing in common, and to be honest, I despise the type of mother she was/is to my husband. How can I decline her offer without sounding rude? I certainly do not want to hurt her feelings. The trip isn't for another 3 months, so I cant exactly say I already have plans that weekend, and she offered to pay for everything so I cant use finances either. Help? (p.s. she is an exceptionally sensitive woman so a simple no thank you would lead to many angry tears and numerous guilt-trips...ridiculous I know, but I love my husband so deal with the family). Update: She asked me about this earlier this morning, so I havent been sitting on the invitation. Additionally, its for a girl's weekend which is why my husband was not included. |
Question: Should I feel guilty about not liking my stepson? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 09:07 AM PST My wife and I have been married for a year and a half but have been together for over five years. We each bring a son to the relationship. I can honestly say that I have no positive feelings for my stepson. Everything he does is the complete opposite of what he should do. He's greedy, leaves messes everywhere he goes, is purposely failing high school, and generally only cares about getting material things for himself. He knows the rules but blatantly ignores them. I feel bad saying this but I don't really consider him as part of the family. I am at the point where I do everything in my power to avoid him and I am super happy when he is not at home. He is a loser in every sense and seems content with that. My wife and I work like crazy to give him a decent life and he always seems to act like we owe him more. I am counting the days till he turns 18 and we can kick him out. I feel guilty for feeling this way but I'm almost to the point where I'm just going to let it go and live my life. |
Question: How to convince my brother that we were both abused? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 09:01 AM PST If you don't count screaming at us and saying we're worthless pieces of sh*t all the time our mother doesn't abuse us anymore. Up till we were both 13 our mother used to slap us, scratch us, pull our hair and threaten to kill us because we didn't get our homeworks right or got bad grades. I don't know what's gotten into my brother but he claims that parents using slapping as a form of diciplinary action for getting bad grades is normal. Therefore he doesn't believe that we were actually abused and thinks we were both sissies for crying. This really hurts. We didn't refuse to do our homework we were just getting it wrong. She smacked my brother so hard he started bleeding on the inside of his cheek. She scratched my face and drew blood. She once beat me with a tennis racket and beat my brother several times with a belt. She tore books, broke a computer and a lamp in her tantrums besides throwing heavy toys at us. All this for not getting homework right. We weren't even failing at school, just barely passing. In the end we made it to 6th form anyway. |
Question: I heard my parents doing... THAT..? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 08:47 AM PST So one night my mom was walking by my room and she asked me why I couldn't go to sleep and I said that I wasn't tired and she said she was going to bed in ten minutes. Anyway, about 4 minutes later I walked to my parents room because I wanted to ask my mom something and the door was locked. And I heard some things I shouldn't. What should I do? |
Question: How would you deal with this type of mother in law? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 08:39 AM PST My mother in law is from Brazil and barely speaks any English. Thanks to my husband, I have picked up on Portuguese quite a bit, but there are some words that I don't understand. Sometimes I do understand it, and sometimes I don't. Whenever I ask her to speak slowly, my mother in law gets annoyed and tells someone to translate in English for her. She has embarrassed me before in front of relatives saying that I don't know Portuguese. I have made it an effort to learn her language, and what bothers me the most is that I have learn her language and she doesn't bother to learn English, so there is no middle ground. The cherry on top of this one is that she has lived with my husband and my son and I for more than a year and we pay her to babysit our 8 month old son. How should I handle this? |

Question: My sister is bossy and cruel at age 23 is there any hope that she might change? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 08:20 AM PST My mother who falsely accuse others of enabling enables her by giving her all she wants even if she gets angry at her sometimes. So it should be on the point of hoping for a change should I just consider her bad |
Question: My parents are ruining my holidays ? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 08:04 AM PST I'm 16 and antisocial and also introvert. My parents want to go to Germany and they taking me and my sisters with them and they always make decisions for me. Now I have to be in this stupid hotel room with no privacy for 5 days and have to go outside following these middle age people with my annoying sisters for the whole ******* day. I'm the type of guy who doesn't like leaving the house. They ruined my last year Christmas holiday by taking us to Russia for 5 days and I have to walk the whole day with extreme cold weather. What also sucks I live in a third world country where u only get 10-11 days no school and half of them are taken away especially the new year day. I ******* hate tourism, sometimes I wish my parents weren't rich so I could stay home. I can't wait till the day I enter the adult world. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 07:55 AM PST Alright Ok so me and my sister have not been getting along well and with me and mom it's of and on. Ok so my sister is about 5 years older then me and I'm 24. My sister has 2 kids which most of the time leaves with my mom on weekends so she can go out. My sister always find's ways to bully me and always wants to be correct on everything even when she's wrong. We always fight a lot. I live with my mom and I help her pay bills and I bough my self a lofted barn cabin and put in my mom's land but I have to fix it if I want to live in it. But I'm so tired of arguing with my family about everything. Christmas eve my family came over and my sister bought 3 dogs she was babysitting and she put them in my cabin because she didn't feel like watching them I told her no she did anyway. Those dogs ripped up my carpet and when I told her to help me pay a new one she said no and called me terrible names and said I was ungrateful. When indeed when ever she needs a favor I'm there to watch her kids and all and sometimes I say no and she makes me feel bad for it. Then at the party I had a red dress with skulls she called me ghetto and ugly but my aunts backed me up saying is was pretty. My sister dresses preppy and does not like skulls. She always calls me ugly and when ever I find a date she always has to say nasty things just because I don't look as pretty as her. Long story short my sister has been bullying me for years. She thinks I don't help my mom and she bullies me for that as well. And I've been watching her kids since they were new born. And if she feels like going out she leaves them at the house even if my mom is sick and when I told her about it she said she never would do that and never has. When in deed she has. Right now our arguments keep getting worse. My mom has bullied me as well before. And back then I was suicidal and depressed, but I'm not suicidal anymore. The arguments never stop. My sister just texted me very horrible things and her kids have no manners and are rude to me. And it's not just her it my whole family there no good snitches. My uncle owes me 600$ but I'm just fed up. Growing up I was bullied at school my brother used to hit me and high school was terrible for me. I just want to have a peaceful life I don't want to argue with anyone. I hate to fight every time I'm happy my mom or sister always bring their negativity to me and make me feel bad. I have a job and some money saved up but I need to save more. On my lofted barn cabin I'm doing rent to own so I can return it at any time I want. I just don't think that staying at my moms and being close to my family is healthy for me anymore. I am the nicest person and I am nice to everyone and a bit shy, maybe that's why I'm treated the way I am. My story is way too long if I keep going on. Do you guys think I should just stay and work it out fix my cabin and keep seeing my sister? Knowing arguments will only get worse not by me but by her? Or should I leave rent an apartment and just live alone? My story is way too long if I keep going on. Do you guys think I should just stay and work it out fix my cabin and keep seeing my sister? Knowing arguments will only get worse not by me but by her? Or should I leave rent an apartment and just live alone? Thanks for your answer anonymous I have lived alone before with roommates and I have renting experience but my mom got sick and I had to take care of her. But then I just stuck around and now I'm facing problems.. The rent for to move out would be 530$ a month plus utilities.. unless other wise included.. |
Question: Why does she like to talk to me? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 07:45 AM PST This older lady has helped me with a lot, were very close friends.
Question: Am I talking too much? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 07:43 AM PST A few weeks ago my closes friend decided that she doesn't trust me anymore and ended our friendship. Whenever I see her friends they ask about her and I tell them that she left me high and dry with no explanation and I don't understand why. She's blocked me from social media and won't and or return my calls and text. I saw her out and a party and told one of her friends about the situation. He tried to get her to talk to me but instead she got in my face and said that I run my mouth too much and that's why she doesn't want to be my friend. Then she stormed off and I was left sitting by myself because none of her friends would talk to me. She's being secretive about it and I'm not. Am I talking about it too much? Y is she being so mean to me? |
Question: My mom always says I'm selfish and I start to believe this. Am I? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 07:41 AM PST I am working full time, and babysitting on the side. I volunteer about 5 hours a,week, which I really enjoy. I love at home and do most of the household chores, and in help my mom who is still recovering from a stroke (but getting a lot better) plus making time for work outs and healthy eating and I have ADD. Yesterday I only say down for about an hour. I was doing stuff for me and my mom. I babysat at five, and then and got home at 10:30. Say down again before bed and did a couple things for her, but forgot one of them (nothing that HAD to happen that very night either). I'm almost asleep when I hear her screaming at me. Barely awake I said I would going to to it, but fell more asleep. I was awoken later hearing her scream that it didn't get done, that one as the most selfish person ever (because I forgot), and her breaking down in tears wishing she would have died. I decided to act as if I was asleep, because I was too scared to hear it face to face. I hear her say so much I'm selfish so mucho start to believe it. Thing is I do a lot for her these days. But when you are living with some one who yells all the time, and is depressed it's hard to to zone it out or just want it to stop. If it's not this she goes on about little things... Like yesterday she told me for 30 minutes how to make got chocolate. I ask her to write requests down for me and she won't. |

Question: Who is in the wrong? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 06:12 AM PST My son and daughter are supposed to be in the 11th grade. I have had them home schooled since 6th grade. They have not been doing school for 3 years as I stopped buying them the school books they needed in 8th grade. I have not had them on insurance for 5 years. They both complain their wisdom teeth hurt and they showed me. I don't care that their wisdom teeth are scraping their gums and they can't chew. More food for me then! It is not my problem, how do I get it through their heads, I am not paying to get their impacted wisdom teeth removed? I don't consider myself their father and I never have. They have no transportation unless they want to walk 15 miles to the city for it and I refuse to teach them how to drive they don't have a permit or license. I am not in the wrong they are. What do you think? |
Question: My brother is ****** up.? Posted: 27 Dec 2016 05:14 AM PST My brother is 16 years old. He has no respect for mum or dad always shouts at them and every argument he has with them he always win and always does what he wants and my parents just let him do what ever he wants.. my dad sometimes shouts at him but my brother just laugh it off and still does what he wants. The most ****** up thing is.. we went to a funeral and as we were walking into the church he started laughing like a ****** lunatic and my dad told him ''is there something funny here ? why are you laughing ?'' my dad got really mad. My brother is an asshole he just makes fun of everyone no matter what opinion you have he just laughs at you. I'm genuinely embarrassed to call him my brother. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 05:01 AM PST I am 28 and female so I do not live with him and never have since my parents divorced when I was 12. My mother says I should never see him again but that is cruel and I would never disown a parent just as I would never disown her despite her flaws (she likes to hold grudges and is a gossip). However, I have great anxiety about fearing my father will reject me. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 04:57 AM PST She is mad at her brother because her brother can be moody sometimes. However, she is more mad about old issues which are too long to write but involved my Mom's Dad (my late grandfather) having alcoholism and my Mom was always mean to her Dad about it and used me as a weapon and sounding board when I was a kid. Now he has died and it is her two brothers she is mean about though cordial to their face. The one brother is a little moody and so that one my mother picked on for Christmas and got mad that I went to see Christmas Eve. So my question is since she is my mother do I need to let her use me here as a sounding board or was she wrong? I am 31 and male. I marked anonymous since it is a family question and I usually don't ask those on here. I should add my mother has caused me great anxiety over the years by me being disadvantaged by her bitterness (the other uncle is awkward around me due to whose kid I am so I miss out on extended family). |
Posted: 27 Dec 2016 04:41 AM PST It's gonna be long, but I'll make it as short as I can. My mother have been married twice. The first time was with a controlling man as far as I have heard, whom she divorced after meeting my father. She had 3 children, my half siblings, with this man. She met my father, divorced her husband through nearly 20 years of marriage. My parents then got married and had me, the afterthought. My siblings are 17, 15 and 10 years older than me, so I've always been behind. I have contact with my two youngest siblings, however have never met my oldest, since he refuses to see my mother, whom he can't forgive for leaving his father. My mother is sad but has accepted it. Now comes the issue: My sister had a baby last year. My mother is very involved with them and often visits. However he's turning 1 soon, and my mother is not invited, because my oldest brother does not want him there. I won't be there either, since he refuses to see me as well, even though i wasn't even born when all that stuff happened. I am boiling with anger and so is my mother. However she is in a position where she can't do anything, since her other children could cut her off. I however, am the little sister. I'm 18 years old, my siblings would never cut me off. I am considering contacting my oldest brother and see if we can come to an understanding, that this is about our nephew who should be kept out of all of this drama I grew up in. What do you guys think? Thanks for the help in advance. |
