Question: Is it normal feeling extremely overjoyed and scared? Posted: 19 Dec 2016 10:59 PM PST My boyfriend and I are planning on getting married in two or three months. After years of being together we are finally getting married and I feel extremely overjoyed and at the same time really scared. I was wondering if that's normal? How did you feel before getting married? |

Question: Thigh high boots for winter wedding? Posted: 19 Dec 2016 07:20 AM PST I have a wedding to go to the day before Christmas eve (so, this Friday). I'm limited on what I can wear, and have no money to go buy anything new. For some reason the wedding is an outdoor ceremony so it's going to be cold. Would thigh high boots be ok considering I don't want to freeze, or is that too much of a no-no to get away with? When I said thigh high I didn't mean all the way up my thigh. Just where it was barely over my knee. And I decided to take the advice of bring another pair of shoes for the reception (which is going to be indoors). I contacted the sister of the groom, she said the boots would be perfectly fine. You guys (with a few exceptions, who were tactful in their response) seemed to get super upset over this, it's kind of ridiculous lmao |
Posted: 19 Dec 2016 07:14 AM PST Do I even bother to buy a dress or wear whatever I can put together? I have this black funeral looking dress or a bright red cocktail dress. I know you're not suppose to wear things like that to a wedding but does it matter if you don't even like them? These people never make an effort to see us but will ask our dad to pay for the wedding and of course he does because he's generous. These people can't even be bothered to stop by their parents during the holidays when they live freaking 10 minutes away. They also have a wedding registry for a down payment towards a house. They're trying to raise 15k. Are they joking??? The guest list is about 40 people... I don't know what they're thinking. I'm writing them a $25 check. |
