Question: How can I mix wedding themes? Posted: 26 Dec 2016 08:53 PM PST So my dream wedding was to have an intimate magical wedding in a forest. My fiancé and my mother want to invite every single family member and since we re all Mexican, they want Mexican food (which I m totally for!) What I m wondering is how to mix a large Mexican wedding with a magical woodsy wedding. Some things about my wedding: My colors are Navy, Berry, Wine, and Rose Gold. I ll be walking down the aisle to a Harpist playing a song from Legend of Zelda. Planning on having French macarons for dessert as well. |
Question: Is four months too soon to propose? Posted: 26 Dec 2016 07:40 PM PST We have been dating for 4 months. I am 23 she is 22. We have talked about getting married and having kids together. We spend every day together never get sick of each other and never fight or argue. Obviously the wedding wouldn't be soon after the engagement more than a year or so |
Question: Boyfriend gave me an "engagement ring" but didnt propose...? Posted: 26 Dec 2016 06:31 PM PST Im so confused right now because my boyfriend gave me a ring for christmas he did not kneel down he did not ask the question..we have been together 4 yrs going on our 5th year together now. Im hurt about the ring as he didnt really say anything about what the ring meant didn t ask me anything.later on referred to me as his fiance and told me it was an engagement ring.i explained my confusion and he told me he wants to take our relationship to the next level but doesnt want to rush. nobody else knew about the ring besides his sister, his sister told me she was confused because he had told her as well it was an engagement ring when he bought it.. the ring was a complete suprise to me, i had no idea but im still so confused about the ring and hurt that he did nothing traditional when giving an engagement ring it should be special. He did nothing romantically at all then later told me he ruined it and he had it planned out but was scared and messed everything and said itd be weird to redo anything with it...i dont what to do or think..all i can say is im hurt and dont feel "engaged" |

Question: How to explain to someone they're no longer needed as bridesmaids? Posted: 26 Dec 2016 03:37 PM PST I was previously engaged and had asked my cousins to be in my party at that time. Years later and I'm engaged again to the best man in the world! However, my cousins have already assumed they're in this party again, though I haven't exactly implied they are... just didn't unimply it as we didn't know what we were doing at the time. We recently realized we're both so relaxed that we want to elope at the beach with about 30-50 people and only want one person on each side. My older sister would be on my side. How can I explain to my cousins (and now my 2 little sisters) that they aren't in the wedding party? I think the location and type of celebration helps but just this thought is giving me anxiety! I was thinking of buying them 'bridesmaids' typed gifts to say I love them just as much but the ceremony is much simpler now?? |

Question: I'm afraid to walk down the aisle!?!? Posted: 26 Dec 2016 12:53 PM PST I'm getting married in a month and I'm having terrible anxiety. Even though they are my friends and family I'm afraid of them all having their eyes on me and I don't know what to do, i even thought about not even having a ceremony but just getting it done at the courthouse instead. Does anyone know anything I can do to get over this? |
