Question: What are your thoughts on simple weddings and receptions? Posted: 16 Dec 2016 10:06 PM PST We are 2 people in our mid-40's, and we've both been married a widowed for some time. We want to have a very simple weddings and reception. Everyone else around us wants the opposite. What are your thoughts on this? |
Question: Does anyone that marries a for the second time have a fancy wedding? Posted: 16 Dec 2016 12:59 PM PST I have heard that people that remarry have a wedding that is more simple than their first wedding. Is this generally true? Whoops, I didn't mean to write a for a second time! I am sorry for the error. I meant if two people divorced their first spouse or their first spouse died, and they decided to date again found true love in each other and decided to get married again, this time to each other. Would they be more likely to have a simple wedding or a fancy one? |
Question: How can I write this note? Posted: 16 Dec 2016 11:09 AM PST Alright so I have two older sisters and a sister in law I m pretty close with all of them. I recently got engaged about 4 months ago I asked my maid of honor last week the big question but my maid of honor isn t any of my sisters, she is my fiancés cousin. One of my sisters that I m more close to was super upset but I would have originally picked her but she wasn t happy about our engagement in the first place because it was bad timing since a few weeks prior to my engagement her and her boyfriend went looking at rings and ordered one. Anywho I want them to be able to help me still with my wedding but we just want a small bridal party and I got all my sisters these super cute shirts saying "bride tribe" but I wanted to make it as a little gift and have a note saying how I m sorry I didn t pick them but I still want their help. But they aren t gonna be my bridesmaids or anything and I have horrible grammar hense on my run on sentences. Someone please help me. Thank you! |

Question: Flower Boy... really an issue?? Posted: 16 Dec 2016 08:04 AM PST I have 3 nephews (ages 7, 5, 2) and my FH has a 3 year old nephew as well. I will not be including the 2 year old in my party (way too dependent on my sister- it won't work out) . So I am looking at having the 7, 5, and 3 year old. I explained that I wanted my 7 year old nephew as Ring Bearer my 5 year old nephew as Flower Boy and the 3 year old to hold the sign that says "here comes the bride". I think this order is adorable however my sister is have an issue with her son being a "girl" in my wedding. How can I explain to her that he's going to be a boy in a tux and there's nothing wrong with this? The 3 year old has actually been in 3 other weddings and did a marvelous job. I wanted 3 separate roles for them because if one or 2 flake out on that day, I don't want it to seem like something is missing... |
Question: I want a Christian song for the signing of the register at my wedding.? Posted: 16 Dec 2016 04:32 AM PST I want this song to point to our love and Gods love. "When God made you" would be perfect but my friend had it at hers. Want it to be catchy but above all honour Him. Any advice would be appreciated |
