Me and my ex were on and off for more than a year. He cheated on me in the beginning and I tried to forgive him. (I know now that I should of left) I did not trust him at all after what he did. I became jealous and insecure. It was not a good relationship so we decided to end it. It had it's good moments though his family adored me. His parents called me their daughter in law. We had a very bad breakup though and eventually stopped talking after two weeks Four months later I contacted him he replied in under a minute. I told him we didn't have to end on bad terms he agreed. He also said all was forgiven. He was very sweet told me he was proud of me after I updated him on my life. We agreed to be friends he told me don't be a stranger. We never spoke again. Then a few months passed I sent him a message because I needed to ask him something. He has a girlfriend by this point and he just said "Leave me alone" I was very hurt. I thought he wanted to be friends? I respected his wishes I have not contacted him since I know I should not care but he was my first love. I wanted us to at least be friends. Did I do something wrong? Why did he change? |

I really like this new position and it was nice of them to hire me back because last time I left, I left abruptly without notice. I've only been working there for a few weeks and they hired me back with the intent that I would not leave again any time soon. However, I just found out the place that I just left opened the same position I just took but with almost twice as much pay! The organization I just left is amazing and I would love to go back now that they have the position I want but I am torn! So what should I do? Risk disappointing the organization again that kindly took me back after I already disappointed them by leaving abruptly in the past? Or keep my character and reputation by working there for the time they hope to have me (which is at least 1-2 years) and hope something this good opens up again in the future? Thanks!
