Question: My mother and stepfather keep separating? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 09:48 PM PST My mother and stepfather have just split up for the fifth time since June 2015. I absolutely hate my stepfather, but my mom refuses to divorce him. This is their break up schedule: June 2015: separated for six days, July 2015: separated for 4 weeks, August 2015: separated for one day (he left and came back; she doesn t count this but I do), January 2016: separated for 2 months, December 2016: he just left yesterday. I ended up moving in with my dad a couple of months ago because I was sick of their fighting. I m a college student and I m of legal age, but my 14 year old brother still lives with her half of the time. I m trying to convince her to divorce him once and for all for our family s sake. Does anyone have an article that I can show her or some kind of proof that shows how damaging off and on relationships are for kids? |
Question: Moved my family back in with widowed father, he and my husband can't get along.? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 09:43 PM PST My family, (me, my husband, and my seven year old daughter from a previous marriage) moved back in with my widowed father about a year ago, at his request. The idea was to save up for a house, but my husband lost his job, and my father is in poor health and retired, so it looks like we're here for awhile, as I'm not willing to leave my dad to his own devices after losing my mom. The problem is that my dad constantly criticizes my husband's parenting techniques, undermining him with our daughter and constantly complaining about us living there, and my husband is always making rude remarks about my dad's religion. I take care of most of the expenses, groceries, utilities, etc., and my dad makes the house payment. I'm so tired of playing referee between them, and I'm becoming more and more depressed. What can I do to help them smooth things over? |
Question: Friend's parents are getting a divorce? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 08:57 PM PST So my friends parents are getting a divorce and I have no idea how to react to this or what to actually say to help her. Any ideas? She invited me to keep her company tomorrow since her dad left to go spend Christmas with his mom and her mom is upset and crying and has to work. |
Posted: 18 Dec 2016 08:09 PM PST Relationships would be a lot easier ir women acted like adults and directly communicated what they wanted, instead of talking in code and being passive aggressive. |

Question: How Indians still go by arranged marriage route ? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 07:16 PM PST You hardly know a guy or his family before marriage in arranged marriage route. You meet boy may be few times over coffee or dinner. Have few chats with him over internet, that's all. And then suddenly you meet everyone on day of marriage and proceed for honeymoon same day night. This is horrible. How can you think of getting naked in front of this unknown guy and have sex with him ? I find this whole process ridiculous. What are your views ? |

Question: Is it crazy that I wish that I had married young? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 06:54 PM PST I am 22, I live in Alabama, and most people I knew growing up down here are getting married. I am single and still a virgin. I can't afford to move away yet. Most of the couples getting married haven't even been dating 2 years. Part of me wishes that I did get married at like 19 but the other part doesn't. Why do I feel this way? Are most 22 year olds everywhere getting married too? |
Posted: 18 Dec 2016 06:19 PM PST We've been together 10 years. Ps. Her affair with the other guy is over. |
Question: How can I help my wife feel better ? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 06:02 PM PST My wife works at Walmart she works 9 hours a day 4 days a week. She works in the kitchen for the first part of the day then after lunch she goes up to the door and hands out carts to people for the last few hours. Shes been working there for 2 months she loves it but it makes her ache and tired every night. Usually a warm shower and good night sleep helps her but when she has a day off she gets tired that day and all she wants to do is sleep all day. How can I help her feel better when she gets off work ? |
Question: Married man's behavior towards me has me curious.....why? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 04:00 PM PST am almost 26. I have this manager who is 6 months younger than me and married. Unfortunately, I have a gigantic infatuation with him. Don't worry, I'm not the type to go after a married, family man. I am just curious about his behavior. In the beginning, we didn't really get along. Sometimes, we still don't get along. He gets stressed out and frustrated often so he can be hard to deal with, but he quickly gets over his frustrations. On Halloween, I got to wear kind of a lowcut Batwoman shirt to work as my "costume". I noticed him taking peeks at my cleavage. In early October, I had to go to the ER for a chronic condition that upsets my heart sometimes. The next day, I called work to call out because it was doctor's orders. Another manager answered and said my crush had told her what happened, that he had seen on Facebook and was "really worried" about me. He actually called me after work to see how I was feeling and to see if I'd be working the next day. I was in shock, I didn't think he cared. Fast forward to recently, my best guy friend passed away a few weeks ago. I took a week off of work to grieve. My crush didn't acknowledge it, other than asking me how I am, when I first got back to work. He has actually been a tiny bit nicer since I've been back. A few days ago, I posted a long note on Facebook about my bond with my deceased best guy friend and my crush "liked" the note, meaning he read it. A couple days later, I mentioned on FB how I was depressed and how stress from work wasn't helping. He unexpectedly commented and asked "Why are you stressed at work?" I said "everything and then some, it's hard not to be" and he commented and said "I know it's hard, but leave the stressing up to me." I was totally in awe. He seems to notice a lot of my FB posts, even though he doesn't always "like" or comment on them. He has over 800 FB friends, I'm a little surprised he pays that much attention to my posts. What's with his behavior? Sometimes, he completely ignores me or is a douche. He recently compared me to my friend/coworker (who is 16) and said how she can do something better than I can. I've been giving her crap about it ever since and the other day, he told me I had to do a certain thing if I wanted to be like her and I asked "who said I wanted to be like her?" and he asked "why wouldn't you want to be like her?" -_ David-She's one of my closest friends right now. She knows I'm just teasing. I just hate looking bad in front of my crush, especially when he knows that her being better than me at something, bothers me and he teases me about it lol. K-I am very aware of all of that. I said within the first few sentences, I'm not the type to go after a married man and he's not the type to cheat on his wife. W-Funny, because none of my other managers have done most of what he does or says. Patterson-Get over yourself. I've never wrecked a home. linkus-I am older than he is, so it's hardly a "parent, child relationship" lmao. |

Posted: 18 Dec 2016 12:39 PM PST My husband lost his job a month ago and he has been applying here and there. I am almost into my third trimester and working full time and doing online classes while also caring for our daughter at home. I am going to need to put overtime at work and therefore fall behind in school. I have to clean the house because my husband is home all day and does nothing, he either sleeps or plays video games and poops and thats his way of taking care of our daughter at home. He says he hasn't been able to find anything but he never leaves the house so I feel like he doesn't care enough about our family to find anything. I tell him how stressed out I am and he ignores me and walks away or leaves. I'm just so stressed out. He's been depressed and it's depressing me now. I don't know what to do? I feel alone and drowning in all these responsibilities while he gets to be home and rest and does nothing while his pregnant wife is on the berge of preterm labor. :( |

Well, Tim got the money last night an said he would book there plane tickets an pay me back as soon as he got here. He said he would put me up in a penthouse apartment an buy me a Cadillac Escalade too, an then when school was out my ex-husbend would take custody of are son an I would marry Tim an move to Houston. Max would be an embareassment to Tim an Tim doesn't like other people's kids. But this smorning I got up an Tim's Face Book page is gone an I tried to email him but it was returned as undeliverable! OMG I screamed an started to weep, I don't know why Tim would do this... |

Question: Is my husband cheating? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 06:48 AM PST My gut is screaming at me that my husband is having an affair. My husband had not wanted sex for about a year. i tried to find out why (he wouldn't talk) He goes out a lot. I usually know where but, not always. He hangs with one women that just makes me scream inside. I asked him not to and he still does. We recently started having sex again and holy molly it's completely different than it's ever been. I have found some potential text messages that set flags off with this women and to his best friend. (he usually keeps his phone with him at all times, once he didn't and I snooped) I found them haning out in his garage when I got home early from work. There's just to much for me to completely ignore. Should I investigate this more or not? |
Question: I found my dad looking at divorce sites? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 06:08 AM PST I found my dads tabs open and it was a divorce site. He s had some fights with my mom and has even left the house for a few months. I m not sure what to do. |

Posted: 18 Dec 2016 05:48 AM PST not pervy our anything but he says one has a nice butt and he would love to see her nude that kind of thing, do you think my husbands friends want me in a sexual way also? Question: Strip club; betrayal or harmless? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 05:40 AM PST My fiance s wrk buddy asked him to go with him to a VIP thing he won at a full nude strip club. At frst he was like I dnt feel right going, I felt as long as he only bought 1 lap dance it shld be harmless. when I put a limit on what I was cmftbl with it started an argumnt. Then he said I won t go at all. (Mind you I bought his very first lap dance years ago and he was just at a strip club a few months back for a bachelor party) I told him no just go just dnt spend over 60 dollars. Dances are 20 here (2 for 30) and drinks were 4 dollars each. Food was free. So he txts me when he gets there which I respected. He says he bought the 2 dance deal from some girl that wasn t very good but it was a decent experience. Then shrtly after he says his brother just bought him a dance, all in fun so ok. I ask if he bought his brother one he says no his gf doesn t want him getting any dances. Then shortly aftr the dance was over he texted and asked to pull more money out. He went with $65. I said just don t go crazy He pulled 40 By this time they had been there for 3 hours. So he didn t get home til around 5 am (left at 730) and tells me he spent $140.. I feel betrayed. We agreed on a price. Then even another price. and he went and spent another 40? 30 dollars in 2 dances and 30 dollars in drinks=7.. so then another 40 dollars gives you two more dances and then another 40 dollars? Why would he need to buy himself SIX dances when his brother bought him one too? Am I over reacting? |

Question: Is kissing another man considered cheating? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 03:22 AM PST It's no excuse but I was drunk at a friends Christmas party and my previous fiance was there also. He doesn't drink and we got talking outside, he told me he has never stopped loving me and would do anything to have me back. My husband is away for work so he was not attending with me. I obviously still have a weakness for my ex because he ended up kissing, passionately. I pulled away and went home and now I feel so guilty and like I cheated on my husband. I still love my ex but I'm IN love with my husband. Is this considered cheating? |
Question: Does your ex question or harass you about how you use your child support money? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 03:09 AM PST I've been divorced for several years now. I'm a single mom of 5, and my ex pays $1,400 a month in child support. Every dime of that money goes towards my children's care and needs. I'm a frugal person, and I spend the money wisely. My ex-husband always questions and harasses me about what I'm using the child support money for. I've told him that it's none of his business how or where the money is spent. Our children are well taken care of, and that's all he needed to know. Does your ex question or harass you? |

Question: How to Solve this Life Issue? Posted: 18 Dec 2016 01:20 AM PST Hi, I am in a dilemma. I have a 2 year old kid and I am working. I have no one to look after her and I tried few nannies but was not comfortable with them. My daughter needs me as she wants me to be there for her. I am scared to quit my job as there are financial responsibilities. My husband just started a travels biz and he wants me to help him in it and told me to quit my job but I am still scared. Question: How do I get over the trauma of my parents divorce? Posted: 17 Dec 2016 03:44 PM PST My mother made me hate my father as a kid. I overcame it as a teen and broke free of my Mom but now that my Dad has died I feel guilty for all the things I believed her say like how he didn't love us even if he liked us. Or how he left "us" instead of her and actually she filed for divorce (though he didn't treat her kindly). |
