Posted: 19 Dec 2016 06:02 PM PST I had a good amount of friends in high school, then the beginning of my senior year I went through a really bad breakup and lost touch w one of my best friends because it was me n her cousin that broke up. Because of the break up I think I really isolated myself and had an awful outlook on life and pushed away a lot of potential friends/friend groups. I also got into a huge fight w one of my best friends who had changed a lot and so had I. After that, she found a new group of friends I was left with pretty much no one. Now I m in college and I thought this would end, but when I come home for breaks, I m not as close with my other friends and I pretty much only hang out w my boyfriend(the one that I broke up w for a little while, we got back together) Anyway, I m always left out and not as close those people as I used to be and am always left feeling alienated by everyone. How do I make friends with these people again, or maybe make new ones? This loneliness is taking a tole on me and I ve never felt so unwanted from my peers before. |

I found out I had HPV, had a colposcopy and am happy to report I no longer have the virus, I kept calling him restricted and hanging up ( childish I know). He found out it was me then a couple days later texted me saying are u ok, just checking on you, then couple days later he drove by my house "yelling let me have the booty" ( he is wild like that) i just called to check on him and he didnt answer my calls, but when I called from a blocked number he answered. Please no mean answers, I realized he is probably not a good friend, just looking for theories. |

All I told them was stop ganging up on me when it comes to jokes and they are acting like I did something wrong. They will not even tell me anything making me think I'm not doing anything wrong but they like to gossip about me. With the company phone they sit there once i walk by they say he's coming then start talking after I'm pass. I would care if they were doing this with their cell phone but the company phone kind of makes me paranoid. My boss decided not to tell them I put my 2 week notice in so I plan on entering one of th ese conversation. |

So I tried winning her affection with some fancy birthday gifts. She literally opened her present, said "thanks" in a smartass way & threw the present on the ground & began snapchatting her new bf. The only time she ever talks to me is when she wants to brag about her popularity or how many guys like her. The other day I caught her with her bf's best friend. They were in her car & we're all over each other. Her bf is so sweet & she's such a ***** to him. Once I realized she was being disloyal to her bf, it made me wonder exactly how disloyal she was to me. I asked a couple of girls & apparently she's been talking **** behind my back. She's been making rude remarks about stuff I am very insecure about. Such as my skin, weight, family problems, etc. I'm planning on dropping her as a friend cause I can't take this anymore. I don't have enough space to go through everything, if you want more details I will comment on your answers. anyway, I would always go to pick my sis up because it was the closest thing I had to friends, was watching my sis's friends. All summer they hung out at Kaylas house with Emmie (the new girl). And I saw them all riding horses(emmie had a ton of horses) bareback, and they were racing the horses and laughing. I wanted so badly to be friends with them. I turned my head away so my dad couldn't see me cry. I think he knew. They all rode up and my sis was like "Oh I have to go" and they all instantly started the usual "Ewww its Graaacie" (I am gracie) "RUN ITS GRACIE" "Grace, Grace the rabbit face" ( I had a rabbit who I hung out with) Now I am 15, and my sis will refuse to even talk to them I know that nothing happened, my sis is just being dumb. she refuses to talk to anyone unless they are male, and she tries desperately to seduce all young boys within a 3 mile radius. I spent today lying in bed re-reading Tokyo ghoul, drawing, and coding. I love to draw and code, but it gets painfully boring. Any suggestions on what to do? I'm not a looser but I don't think she had something different in her mind than what she offered me. She simply lived a much fuller life. I've been bullied before, so it's nothing new, but it's worsening to the point where I've gotten into fist fights with this kid. So this kid at school, Corey, has been bullying me basically because I'm black. I go to a school where 95% of the kids there are white, so I'm one of probably 5 other black kids. He's been pushing me into the lockers, spreading rumors about me, and today he even walked down the hallway with all his friends yelling n***** at me. Everyone around them laughed too. I've done nothing to the kid, I barely know him. I don't even know why he hates me so much. The one time I was so fed up with his BS that I tried to punch him. I ended up getting a Saturday school for that because my school is really strict and they threatened me that next time, I'm getting suspended. I never told anyone I'm getting bullied and that's why I tried to hit him, because I'm afraid that'll make me look like a fool and things will get worse. Not even my parents know. Only me and a couple of my friends. I made a few friends from the football team this year and I have a couple other good friends and I'm trying to fit in better, but I don't know what this kid wants from me. The guidance counselors are no help at all either, so forget that. I could really use some help right about now. Sorry I'm updating this so much it wouldn't let me post it normally for some reason. I've been thinking about straight up just beating this kid up to teach him a lesson. I can't though because the school is really strict and I'll probably get expelled. I'm not trying to get suspended, I think you read that wrong. I was saying how the principal basically threatened me saying "next time you act up, you're getting suspended" and I DON'T want that to happen so I'm trying to figure out a way to stop this. |

I get called annoying, gay, racist (politics are a big part of our school life), and stupid, when in turn I am not any of these things. I have Aspergers disorder and I sometimes say random things out of impulse and I laugh at other things that people don't find funny. I also have really bad anxiety issues. I don't get into things like sneakers or rap music just because they are popular. I honestly don't even care for them at all. I can't even go on a ride at an amusement park because of it. When I tell my mom about these things she says, "Well it'll be fine. Nobody can take my schmoop away from me" or something and it only makes me feel a bit better but do my peers have a right to say this stuff? |

I am a junior in college and I am living in a dorm room with a friend of mine, who also happens to be an amazing roommate. We both want to move off campus for the fall 2017 - spring 2018 school year and I would have loved to live with her next year, but she told me that she made tentative plans to live with her boyfriend in an apartment. She even said that if living plans don't work out with her boyfriend, then she would love to live with me next year. Her boyfriend isn't sure if he wants to live off campus or stay in the dorms and they aren't making final living arrangements until next semester. She is thinking of me as her backup plan if her boyfriend stays in the dorms instead of living off campus. The thing is, I want to live off campus and I couldn't wait until next semester to find an apartment, because they could all be gone by then. Sadly, I did what I had to do and found my very own apartment for next year and signed the lease. Of course there will be nice things about living alone too, so I'm not completely upset. I'm actually excited in some ways. How do I tell my roommate that I will be living alone next year? |

Her priorities are her abusive boyfriend with whom she fights at least once a week and puts the rest of us at ill ease with her tantrums, and refuses to leave despite being treated in such derogatory fashions. She likes gossiping about people and judging them for their choices which would obviously be different from her own. That wouldn t have been such a problem if she didn t act like such a holier-than-thou Christian narcissist when it comes to herself. She s also thinks that my roommate is distancing her from me (lol, btw), and is blind to the fact that in fact it is herself that is ruining the friendship and drawing me away from her. So we ve grown cold to each other now. Although the sensible thing is to simply break the friendship, I still feel invested and unsettled about the whole affair. I try to convince myself that she s going to change, but it certainly doesn t seem likely. An outsider s perspective would be welcome. |

Posted: 19 Dec 2016 12:29 PM PST My friend is really annoying me & irritating me with what she's doing to her husband, first it was just one guy she works with & now it's another guy she talks to. as if cheating once wasn't enough I've been trying to be supportive but every time she tells about having sex with one of them it makes me angry. She always tells me who was better & how they got the job done I'm just sitting thoroughly irritated & she just laughs. then a couple weeks ago she left me alone with her 1yr old (yes she has a child with her husband) to go **** one these guys. like we were supposed to be hanging out with each other the one thing to annoys me the most is that its supposed to be us alone hanging put but then one of them will message her & she'll want to leave & go get ******. I'm no one to pass judgment but it's affecting our friendship & anytime I say something to her about it she gets upset with me & tries to justify the situation to me. Then as if its not bad enough one of the guys she ******* (whose also married with a kid) has feeling for her she just blows it off & acts like it's not a big deal. everything about this just bothers the heck out of me but if I really say something to her I'm going to lose her friendship & I don't want that. |

She's usually really happy and fun around me, but now when i show her something funny on my phone she just looks at it without really looking at me and goes back to whatever she's doing, and today when i played with her hair she told me to stop. she's perfectly fine with everyone else though! He's an English Professor and he's close friends with my ex-best friend from high school. He always seems to know what to say around EVERYONE else except me. I feel like he's ashamed of me. He never calls me to ask me how I'm doing. I feel like I'm not cool enough to be in his life because he's all about the "image" scene. |

Thank god I have my own set of friends outside of work. Regardless, I am a 25 year old girl and there are so many people my age at my job and they all hang out together and leave me out. One girl tried to invite me out when I was new to this one guy's house party but I could tell he didn't want me there so I didn't go. One girl told me it was because he was feeling iffy about our department so he didn't want to become to close with me. That still doesn't make sense to me. i'm still upset that I have no friends at work. There are plenty of people that I get along with but still I don't feel that close with anyone |
| Posted: 19 Dec 2016 10:52 AM PST So i'm planning to move out of my dorms to live somewhere else and honestly , i'm not sure what option to pick Option A: Live with my 2 best friends ( as they want to leave the dorms too ) to rent a 3-bedroom flat My oppinions on why i should pick this option : + I will never be alone , it's like always being alongside your best friends + I will stop my distraction habits when i study because i tend to lose concentration fast +the 3 of us study in the same course , so i'm pretty sure that we'll do daily group studies However , the lack of privacy that made me leave the dorms is still there , except that i would live in my own room there. Option B: Rent my own flat . The only good thing that i can come up with from this option is the fact that i'll always be alone , no need to hold myself back . She deleted me from Facebook and asked to to leave her alone. she was suffering from depression, so i made a comment and she felt offended. we spent 1 full month without speaking. Last week I sent her roses, she texted me and said she loved them. but we still have not been speaking to each other much!! She's still giving me the cold shoulder. Why? I added her on Facebook on friday but hasn't accepted yet..what's going on?? any advice |

I'm getting one in 2 weeks. I've been behind so I'm catching up and trying to get my own apartment. Anyways, I've been making beats since I was 13 but was not consistent as I should have been. I want to become a producer. I know a rapper I knew since middle school. Problem I'm having is that I want to sell him and others beats but i feel like it's too late because now he's doing good. In my mind it would seem like I'm fake, a opportunists or a snake. Never went to his shows because of work and no car. I've supported him through votes to get his songs on the radio. I really want to help him and others grow. I don't want handouts. How can I handle this situation? |

They're back together now but it's a secret and I'm not even supposed to know about it because I get so upset whenever his name is even mentioned. I don't know how long they have been back together but I'm assuming its been about 4 months. I was the one that had to pick up the pieces whenever he left and it always seemed like I was never good enough because she was never happy until he came back. I was even going to transfer schools to get away from the entire situation until I realized how stupid that was. He just triggers my anxiety super bad but I know that she loves him and that to be a good friend I should just accept it. I'm having a hard time doing this and I know it bothers her that she can't mention him to anybody at all. Any suggestions on how I can forgive him for what he did to her? |

But now after this traumatic experience I'm starting to feel alright again and want to move on from them. Posted: 19 Dec 2016 09:28 AM PST I have become friends with a guy at work who I initially thought could be a good friend because we have the same sense of humor. After a while, however, it became apparent to me that the relationship is extremely one sided in that we only hang out when he wants something from me. Ultimately I feel drained from this relationship and have tried to express these concerns to this person but it only results in him blocking me for a few days. So Friday I finally decided to call it over and just deleted him from my work IM and my phone. I know it will make things awkward and I'm afraid he'll retaliate by talking bad or making fun of me to others. How do I deal with this? |

One of my guy friends(Let's call him Ish) came over and hugged me and brought me over to my other guy friend (D) that I used to like. Ish wouldn't stop hugging me and so D told him to let go and when Ish didnt ,D tried pulling his arms off of me. Ish kept holding tighter until he finally let go of me and then D and I hugged(idk if he did,but I think I felt him pulling me in a bit for a hug). My other friends thought he was jealous,but idk since him and Ish are friends and they play sometimes. What do you guys think? |
