Question: Am I overstepping boundaries by telling my stepson to stay out of our conversation? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 09:03 PM PST My step son who is 7 frequently interrupts my husband and I. He acted out the other day by throwing a chair downstairs and it almost hit his sister and our dog. I ended up hurting myself in the process by stopping the chair mid-staircase. He claimed it was accidental but i do no believe it was an accident. This was after a night of him being very rude at dinner. I got into it with my husband about it and my stepson interrupted our conversation asking what we were talking about and why I was mad. Is it wrong for me to tell my 7 year old step son to stay out of our conversation? My husband said I was wrong and hurt his feelings. |

Question: Why do people get married after only 2 years dating? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 02:48 PM PST I know a few couples getting married after dating less than 2 years! To me that is a bit too fast. The chemistries between those couples are just ok, I doubt they are soul mates. So why would people hurry into marriage at young age ?! Please list reasons you think would apply. I'm super curious! |
Question: . What should i do and why do i feel this way ? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 02:16 PM PST Im 23 years old and i have a 5 month daughter with this 19yr old girl ive met back in august 2015. Posted: 21 Dec 2016 01:23 PM PST I was married for 3 years and we had 2 kids together. We divorced, and years later he got with a woman, who he then married. They have been together for 5 years with a kid of their own and it has now been brought to my attention that my ex has named his wife as the beneficiary to all of his assets! When I asked him why he didn't list our kids instead, he said its because he wanted to make sure his wife was taken care of in the event that something happens to him because shes a stay at home mom and they have a young child together. I feel like that woman came in and took all the inheritance from my children. She gets the house, cars, life insurance, everything! He put it in his will that the only thing my kids are entitled to is the bank accounts he set up in their name, along with a few other useless family trinkets. Am I wrong to be p*ssed off?!! Is there any legal recourse I can take to ensure my kids get what is owed to them? His wife should not be getting anything! |

Question: I found out my husband got an operation 10 years ago? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 11:37 AM PST For 10 years we've been trying to have a baby and after I mentioned we need to see a doctor because I thought it was me he said no and confessed he got a vasectomy right before we got married and said he was on a business trip for a week. He said he made me want to have a baby which is true but he used my body just for fun sex not for baby sex. Should I divorce him? |
Posted: 21 Dec 2016 11:34 AM PST I am fighting with my husband a lot, we got married 4 months ago after 6years of being together. and since then it is a downhill ride I don;t know what to do. And there is never a real reason we fight. From a small thing he gets very angry and maybe me too He will not talk to me just run out of the room and ignore me for 1,2,3 days after I am very depressed and everytime i try talking to him he find a way to make it about him and get angry and leave. And I am always alone and sad and crying. Can't really talk to people about it. |
Question: Does my husband gave anger issues? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 10:28 AM PST My husband will sometimes have explosive anger where he will yell at me, cut me off from speaking, throw things, slam things, get in my face, call me names, and tell me to leave his house at night. I usually end up provoking his anger (not intentionally!) by trying to discuss things like parenting and money issues with him. His last outburst was over me not taking his son(my stepson) to the store with me after his son threw a ladder down with his hands and it nearly caused someone to be hurt. When I addressed it he claimed it was an accident and I was being too tough on his son (this was the final straw after several incidents) I also told his son to stay out of our conversation. What should I do? |

Question: Abstanance: oral before marriage? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 09:36 AM PST I have always been raised in a Christian household where I have been told sex should wait until marriage. I have saved myself for marriage this far and I am in a very serious relationship with an amazing man. He is not a virgin but he fully accepts my decision to wait until we are married. Although he has been so amazing and willing to wait, I know he gets anxious and hot under the collar sometimes. I strongly believe he is the one I will marry. Is it wrong of me to try to please him with oral sex before we are married? |
Question: Was my husband acting like a man ? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 08:50 AM PST For the past couple of months we have been having issues with our neighbors. Our neighbors are parting really hard every weekend with very loud music and many people. In numerous instances we had to go downstairs (we live in the apartment building) and kindly ask them to lower the music. We told them that we have a little daughter that can't sleep. These guys did not seem apologetic and the issue keep arising. One time we even called the police. So last weekend they started to party hard again and my husband went downstairs to ask to lower the music. I heard their conversation and my husband was very emotional and told them he would call the police again. Then he came upstairs. This guy (the tenant) came after him and started knocking on the door demanding my husband to open the door and "talk to him like a man". My husband never opened the door. At the time I didn't think anything of it. Because I thought that it was a wise idea not to open the door because (a) this guy was drunk (b) none knew what would have happened (c) we had our daughter next room… BUT one thing and it just sits inside of me for some reason…. If I was a man and someone was to demand to "talk to him as a man" and kept calling me names, I would have opened the door… regardless of anything. I know that would have been a stupid decision but that is just how I view it. Aren't man supposed to be that way? To fight and prove their masculinity??? I know this is kind of a strange question |
Question: I randomly notice scratch on my husband back.? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 08:00 AM PST Upon asking he told that it might be due to the heavy laptop bag he carries. But i am really suspicious |
Question: What are signs your OH show affection/love/appreciation? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 07:49 AM PST Husbands and wives are usually complete opposite when it comes to showing how they care. My husband likes to buy me expensive gifts coz thats what he likes however im more of a doer, eg; make his lunch, having dinner ready when hes due home, complement him, doing majority of things with the kids bathe, put to bed, doing dishes etc.what annoys me is theres no thanks or even an offer to help... Cant even throw a load of washing in when hes right there. So was just wondering how other wives OH show or guys how you show your OH you care?? |
Question: Is this really a woman's job? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 07:20 AM PST When my step-daughter was in high school she got pregnant by her boyfriend. My husband (her dad) and I (well, moreso him) handled that situation at the time. She's in her second year of college and my husband has been trying to get her on birth control or a better option than just condoms. He keeps asking me to find an OB/GYN and set up an appointment for her. I'm busy on my job doing some training and don't have the time to stop and search my company's provider list for a doctor. He keeps emailing me about it and I keep replying. His last email was something to this effect. "If you're so busy and don't have time to pull up on your computer to find an OB/GYN then don't you find it strange that you can constantly reply to me on my random emails?" He feels that with this involving his daughter that I, as her step-mom and the other woman in the house, need to take the lead to get her an appointment for birth control. I'm in training on a new system at my job and some changes gong on and I don't have the time. Why can't he do it? Is it really a woman's job to do this? My husband has this thing about "staying in your own lane." He feels that this is woman's stuff so I should handle it. And car stuff is his lane that he should handle. the brakes on my car need to be changed and have been for months but now that ne mentioned his brakes are scrubbing and I tell him mine need to be done too he says that they don cause he hasn't heard any scrubbing. I told him that my oil needs to be changed every 3 months and he said that he's changed to a synthetic blend My husband has this thing about "staying in your own lane." He feels that this is woman's stuff so I should handle it. And car stuff is his lane that he should handle. the brakes on my car need to be changed and have been for months but now that ne mentioned his brakes are scrubbing and I tell him mine need to be done too he says that they don cause he hasn't heard any scrubbing. I told him that my oil needs to be changed every 3 months and he said that he's changed to a synthetic blend so the oil doesn't need to be changed as much. Why can't he just change my oil when I ask him to? He thinks I'm clueless to certain things. |

Question: How can I get my wife to be happy with what we have? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 01:35 AM PST I work as a security guard full time and make 10 bucks an hour and have done this for years. She works full time as well and makes 10 an hour. We live in California in a 395 sq foot studio apartment but after 3 years of living here she is saying its just not big enough for me, her and our 9 year old daughter. We also have no money for anything as our rent is 700, we have 2 cars (one is paid off) and bills such as electric, phone, food, ect. We make about 2750 a month after taxes but it s all gone by the end so there s no room to move to somewhere more expensive. She wants me to look for more work but I m really only good at security and those jobs pay nothing. What should I do? We are constantly fighting about money and its not healthy for us or our daughter. She just expects me to make more than minimum wage which I understand but its simply not possible right now. I keep telling her "atleast you have a roof over your head, some women don't even get that much from their husbands!" |
Question: Parents siding with my wife and saying I have problems? Posted: 21 Dec 2016 12:03 AM PST I have posted previously about my wife being mean to me. She would get so angry that she would throw things, swearing at me and even hit me. Anyway, yesterday she was being rude and cutting me off. I asked her over dinner what's wrong and why she was so upset. She stonewalled me and exploded in anger that she doesn't have to speak of she doesn't feel like. I complained that I'm her husband and she owes me the common courtesy of replying to me or at least letting me know that she isn't feeling good and doesn't want to talk! Long story short, I did a stupid thing out of distress and not thinking straight. I asked her colleague how is everything going. Big mistake. I know I stuffed up. But she came home and hell broke lose. I embarrassed her so much. I think by rights she could have left me over such an idiot move. She was screaming hysterical. Kicked the front door; getting up me, trying hit me and break things, saying f you and get out of my life, calling me idiot, stupid, dumb etc. I spoke to my parents about her and they sided with her this time. They also defended her telling me to f off because she came home and seen me with an upset face. I was upset because the previous day she had told me to f off repeatedly because I failed to perform during sex whilst trying to conceive. My parents are saying I'm mentally unwell and obsess over her. To leave her alone to work hard and do her own things. That's confusing to me because I felt abused by being sworn at and hit... Also I don't understand why they shifted their attitude all of a sudden. They used to agree that I spent all my time alone whilst she worked. We literally don't go anywhere together. No dates. No fun. Just all about work and earning more property. I get it as a husband I have equal responsibility for taking care of the family. So I work hard and study hard as well. But I don't understand why it is ok for her to swear at me and hit me when she is angry. Even if I've done something to upset her in a major way, how is that my fault? Do my desires for a bit of relaxation time together not matter at all? You know, she even makes independent decisions to travel etc without even telling me beforehand. I'll hear about them when talking with family or on the day before she wants to go. If I mention liming up holidays to come along, she purposely ignores me. |
Question: Out of control fight with husband? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:39 PM PST My husband and I had an out of control fight tonight that escalated into a physical altercation and several things breaking. Our 8 year old heard the screaming. When the fight ended I checked on her and she was awake and said she heard us yelling. I told her we were having an argument and I was sorry and kissed her and she went back to bed. This fight was inexcusable. I don t know how to talk with my daughter about this tomorrow. I don t know how to explain to her why there was so much screaming. I don t want her to feel uneasy. I am completely lost. My heart is in pieces. And all I care about is that my baby is ok. Please any advice I would appreciate greatly. |
Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:32 PM PST Our relationship has turned platonic. No Kissing or hugs. No Sex. Yet I honestly don't mind. I have lost trust in her. I just came back from deployment and she kind of got wild. She became a bit of a drinker. She caught the eye of some Guy in my battalion. They did nothing, but the fact that she went along with it. Had I been gone longer, who knows what would have happened. I havent been around a lot due to being deployed and training. We have a 2 year old daughter that I love so much. I sadly have missed both her birthdays... I have been trying to get my wife to see the big picture of what im doing. Yet she is the kind to need constant attention. Now there is plenty more to the story but It be to long. One thing she said that stung was that I do nothing. Im useless and only good for financial support. I just cant be with someone that cant be mature enough to understand. I dont feel like i can be myself around her. She cries for everything. I just want a woman that is ready to be my life partner not some highschool girlfriend. Ive really been trying for my daughter but at what point do you think about your own happiness? Im asking what should I do? Am I right for not just settling for this and wanting happiness? Or should I just endure this for the sake of my daughter? I dont have many people to talk about, especially about this situation so that is why im taking it online. |

Posted: 20 Dec 2016 07:58 PM PST in terms of splitting fairly, then one spouse divides the leftover items, into 2 (what they think are fair) parts. This could include anything that is not agreed upon (home, car, bank accounts, child care, visitation, child support, alimony, etc) And then the OTHER spouse, looks over both parts (which are in writing) and then gets to choose which one is best for them. I would think this would prevent A LOT of Stress, Time, Energy, and A LOT in lawyers fees. This should come to a fair, equal division for both, shouldn't it? Why or Why Not? If you are getting a divorce, would you be willing to try this, why or why not? First 15 answers only please. Thank you. |

Posted: 20 Dec 2016 07:12 PM PST I caught my wife having sex with another woman. we already have 2 twin girls together who are 5 years old. we also have another baby on the way and she is 4 months pregnant. Should I divorce her for cheating on me? I mean if we do get a divorce I will probably end up with custody of the kids and she will end up being homeless since she doesn't have a job or educational skills or family to go to, also we got a pre-nup before we got married. also how much can I get the court to pay me child support considering the fact she will end up working in a minimum wage job and be living in subsidized housing? |
Question: Was it wrong to take my wife to dinner at Hooters? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 06:45 PM PST I told my wife I was going to surprise her with a night out. I took her to Hooters because I forgot to make reservations at a fancy place. They have decent food and good service and I told myself I wouldn't check out the Hooters girls. Well our server was a blonde with a tiny waist and HUGE fake boobs! I stared and drooled through dinner. Mmmmmm, booobs. She kept coming by , asking if she could do anything for us. Well she could do something for me, but I kept quiet. My wife later on said she was offended by my dinning choice. Did I do anything wrong? |

Question: How do married guys feel when....? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 05:16 PM PST Just a question out of curiosity. How do married guys feel when another woman has a crush on them or obviously has interest in them? Especially when she's attractive. I'm not saying these guys will ACT on it, but how do they feel knowing they still have "it"? |
Posted: 20 Dec 2016 04:54 PM PST I'm 23 and my husband is 22. I love my husband with all of my heart and he's the most kindest, sweetest and caring man I have ever meant. I'm proud to call him mine. Yesterday, my husband told me that he was going bowling with his co workers and that he would be home late. Today I was going through his coworkers Facebook profile and I saw a picture of my husband at the strip club. I was really upset and sad. My husband admitted he went after I asked him about it. He told me that his co workers told him that it's a right of passage and he wasn't a man until he goes to a strip club. My husband always had a little bit of self esteem issues which he needs help with. I don't understand him going there because I'm even a model who models for different clothing brands. He told me he's very satisfied with me and he was just put under pressure. I told him that he can't leave the house without me for two weeks. If he goes anywhere then I have to go with him. During this time, I'm also going to take him and pick him up from work. I really love him and felt like he made a mistake. I'm also against strip clubs. |
Posted: 20 Dec 2016 03:15 PM PST I am also a recovering alcoholic and been sober doing well for a long time. He has always badmouthed me to the kids their whole life, and I know they believe him because they won't have any contact with me at all anymore. When they were younger, they were cordially nice, now they won't even talk to me,and will not let me see the grandkids. How is the best way to handle this? I have tried talking to them, and asked why they are listening to him and they won't talk about it. I do not want to estrange them any more than already is.It hurts me so badly inside--all I know to do is pray for them.Yes,I belong to AA--want some more input. Thank you all for listening. |

Question: Last minute gift idea for hubby? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 11:52 AM PST Okay. So my husband's birthday is the 23rd and with 3 of our dogs getting parvo in the last month, money is tight and I honestly just haven't any clue what to get him. He wants some beer and a blueberry pie so, check and check, but I wanted to get him something small at least for one of the two occasions. He likes to hunt, but his stepmom bought him a new gun and I was originally going to take his old one to get cleaned, but I know with a new "toy" he won't be touching the old one for a while. He's a little nerdy, a little countryish, but I'm just lost. Any ideas? |

Question: Dealing with uninvited guests? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:54 AM PST So my husband has given an open invitation to just about everyone we know to come by whenever they want. One of our friends is an insurance broker, who had convinced me to buy life insurance from her. Shortly after--while the application was still pending--she changed companies, then insisted I needed to transfer the coverage to her new company. Long story short, I haven't received any information on the policy and the old company is withdrawing the premiums. I have already written them a formal request to cancel the policy. But now this friend has gone around me to my husband to finish the application with the new company, which I never agreed to start. I told her that we would only DISCUSS the options, but AFTER the holidays. She invited herself over YET AGAIN last night, and my husband left me to deal with her. Yes, I agree the insurance would be good to have. So that's not the issue. The issue is her coming over uninvited after I've had a long day at work to conduct business, and my husband letting her and not telling me until she's at the door. And she's not the only one...he's given an open invitation to everyone we know to come by whenever they want. I'm sorry, but after a 9 hour shift all week long, I just want to relax and cuddle with my kids. Now he's invited over our son's godparents on Christmas Eve. Normally I would say okay, especially since they've offered to cook, but I'm exhausted, stressed, cranky, and extremely bitchy. And he WILL NOT listen. What more can I do so that he understands he really NEEDS to ASK me first before he invites someone over or confirms they can come by? Granted, most of them call just before they come, but he NEVER tells me anything. And obviously talking to him doesn't work. I've thought of just shutting myself in our room, but that's not fair or teaching the kids proper behavior. |
Question: House rule: no visitors after 8 PM? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:47 AM PST So my micro-managing wife has instituted a new house rule: no visitors past 8 PM. We have two young children. My wife has a very demanding job, that causes a lot of stress this time of year. On top of that, she has reopened her small start-up (she originally opened a small business for custom gift baskets). She has done quite well with it this time around, but she always complains she's too tired for anything. And now the new house rule? We have a friend who is in health insurance, who has been trying to get us to apply with her company for life insurance. My wife originally applied for life insurance at the previous company she worked for, but has requested to cancel that policy due to miscommunication and issues with the company itself. So now our friends wants us to transfer our coverage to her new employer. My wife has had reservations about it, and has requested that our friend wait until after the new year to discuss the options. Now she's angry at me for 1) letting our friend come by uninvited, and 2) not standing up for her when she requested NOT to conduct any business. She yelled at me this morning that if our friend really wants our business, then she can request an appt to meet at her office. No more coming to our home. I think she's being a bit ridiculous in saying that our friends can't come over. And she's probably taken on more than she can handle right now, but we're financially set up through the spring. |
Question: What should i believe? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:34 AM PST My wife of 6 yrs and i get into arguements (like all couples) well a few times she has blurted out that she cheated...but then takes it back, claiming she only said it because she was mad. Well one time she actually forwarded me some messages between her and another guy (we were separated) and the guy said "i love making you *** like that" ok...later on she claims a girl friend helped her make the messages and they were fake. Ok, a yr passes and she goes to washington to visit family, well i call her and i hear a guy in the background and she lies about it. Finally she admits its just a friend, ok we argue over that and i say she doesnt need to be around this guy due to the way i found out. I call her the next day and he answers her phone (im pissed) so he and i argue and argue and he says he slept with her. By that time im pissed and i hang up, the next day she calls me claiming he only said that to piss me off and she would never cheat on me. I just dont know what to believe? p.s- come to find out the guy from the "fake messages" was this guy but she claims the conversation was about old sexual encounters from about 10yrs ago....???hmmm We are together now and trying to work it out but i dont believe her story and everyday i question it. |
Posted: 20 Dec 2016 09:01 AM PST Now the mentally ill level 7 loser is moving my question to diet & fitness. I don't understand why people move questions around, I posted multiple questions and wanted to hear people's opinion. Apparently, my questions are deliberately being moved and I don't get the logic behind their intention. Nevermind, I forgot a user name Jay also moves questions around. Why would you think I would move questions around, that makes no sense. Every time I post question, it ends up to another section, then I have to relocate it back to marriage and divorce and then its gone again. This is why I asked this question, why do questions get relocated because this behavior is frustrating. NO, it is Babehart because if you look at "1 following" I checked my account history and it is her. Look, Babehart finally figured out and removed her "1 following" from the question. |

Posted: 20 Dec 2016 08:47 AM PST Been separated from the wife for 2 years, trying to work it out but now moderately seeing a girl from work and she's amazing...just a little young but that's really the only flaw. She has feelings for me and I think I'm in love but I still love my wife and been with her for so long I don't know? My new possible gf said if we are to be a couple then I need to file for divorce. I told her I understand as I would never cheat on my wife or anything. What should I do? |
Question: My wife quit her job? Posted: 20 Dec 2016 07:22 AM PST My wife and I have two kids and she is 5 days from having our third. Working isn't the problem, she said while she feels fine and energetic, she will take advantage until the last day. The problem is that all babysitter cancel last minute and it happens every single day. My sister in law offered to watch them for one day but at the last minute she cancelled and said she was really tired and wanted to get sleep. Ok, we called a day before during the afternoon to many babysitters and some said it was fine to bring the kids over since my wife went in at 7, they all cancelled and said it was really early to babysit. So my wife got tired and quit her job. We searched daycares and drop in daycares but in our are they have bad reviews. I cannot afford having my wife stay at home. I know I earn more than enough (way more than that) but I cannot have her at home doing nothing. Any ideas? Should we ask other people? Even hers or my family won't take the time. |
Posted: 20 Dec 2016 06:54 AM PST My husband took pictures with another woman. They weren't doing anything sexual in the photos, but they looked very couple-ish. We had been having several marital problems at the time. I cheated on him 4 years ago and he has always told me that he should have cheated on me to get back at me for it, so I could hurt as badly as he did. (Note that my cheating was online conversations with some guy I'd never met, which was limited to flirting). While trying to repair things, he admitted that he had staged it to look like he was cheating, because he felt that if I got jealous, it would show that I still cared, plus he knew that I'd be hurt by the idea of it. I'm confused as hell and keep trying to figure out whether I should be pissed, flattered, or divorced. Any advice at all would be incredibly helpful. |
