Involving EVERYTHING. Not just the venue. I want to have the wedding of my dreams with my boyfriend and I have a feeling he's gonna ask me the "big question" next Spring (because he plans on taking me to the gulf coast that time to give me my Christmas/birthday gift then, even though it'll be a VERY late one). Here's what I want... - Nothing out of state. Not everyone can afford to travel or even make the time to. - Everyone I know and he knows will come so approximately 100-150 people. - Deff a bar/cocktail hour. - Kids are welcome (I have triplet nieces and some of my friends have kids). My boyfriend and I will deff look around at different venues when the time does come but I want your opinions.

So here is the situation. I had a date to propose all picked out, then canceled last second because my bride to be found out one of her best friends is going to be proposed to the very next day. I decided to delay my plans till next weekend. I now find out that the forementioned couple might have an engagement party the very next day. Do you think it is ok to propose the day before someone else's engagement party? I really wanted to propose before xmas so we could tell our families at gatherings, but I am not sure if I need to wait now. Help!
