I feel like I'm ready to just end the friendship & leave him alone, but I'm still reluctant. This is probably just immature, high school drama but I need an opinion. I met him in my hometown & we instantly became friends, which was amazing to me because I have a hard time making friends . We still had arguments here & there but other than that this was the first genuine friendship I had. But as the months went by I started to notice he's really only around me when something's wrong in HIS life. & when I need him, he kinda just disappears for while. I finally called him out on this & he just exploded, & he's never been angry at me before. He denied it was true & threatened to not speak to me again. Not only did he hurt me he made me a little uncomfortable w/ the way he talked to me (he has a couple of mental health issues). So I apologized so he'd just forget about. But it hasn't been the same since. There's A LOT more to it that I can't fit in here... He'll VERY upset if I don't talk to him for awhile but doesn't seem to mind if he does the same to me. I'm at my limit with him & I feel like I'm ready to just cut ties w/ him but part of me feels like it was my fault and every time I'm about to I think of memories we have and stop, should I go through w/ it? |

All they pretty much do and seem to care about is smoking weed. Let s my single friend Lana and her son Kyle. And I ll call my married friend Haylee and her husband Sam and her daughter Olivia. Over this past year I ve found myself slowing distancing myself from them because they re life consist of smoking weed, drinking every time we re together and this weekend was the icing on the cake... I went over and they were all smoking weed in my friends room with the kids running around in the living room. And keep in mind Lana lives in a tiny two bedroom one bathroom apartment. They all come outside of the room and of course there s beer bottles all over the place because everyone s drinking. Olivia was eating with us at the table and my other Lana says "be careful where she eats, that s where we did the line of xanax. So they picked her up and washed her hands and wiped the table. I was so annoyed to hear that but I kept my mouth shut and didn t say anything. So I m sitting there and they re all talking about how high they are on xanax and whatever and how Lana is having her booty call come over later so she can **** him high and drunk. So pretty much that s what all of their lives involve... being high on weed and drinking every weekend and pointlsss conversations about **** I don t care about. TBH I m embarrassed of them. I thought all three of us would be cool and so I talked to B for a couple of days, before everything went downhill. B started being mean to me and calling me insulting names, the bullying got worse. My friend didn't know this was happening, and I didn't want to ruin his friendship with B so I kept quiet. After a couple of months anger and stress began to build up both from the bullying at school and issues at home. B started calling me Chinky or Asian b**** (others too but it didn't bug me as much as those) and flicked annoying paper hornets at me, which of course stung. This continued until I snapped, it was when we were coming back from a fire drill and were walking in a line back to the portables, B was whispering insults at me from behind and telling me I'd get nowhere in life and all that. I turned to him and said," Shut up n-word." I regretted that immediately, B was shocked and told the teacher on me. She got what was going on afterwards and told me to never use that word again and told B to stop bullying me or she'd called B's mother. I'm getting tired of this bullying and I know I'm not supposed to use words like that, but being made fun of for my ethnicity and being expected to take it for the rest of my school years was impossible for me. How do I handle this better? The teacher forced us to apologize to each other but I don't know how tomorrow will be like. Please help. |

I can't help feeling frustrated if one can't make it then our meeting keeps getting postponed. For example, I organized a meeting to catch up with my buddies and we collectively agreed upon the date and time. But the day before and after some one says they can't make it and the meeting is postponed. That same meeting has been postponed for two months and it's not first time and usually by the same people. I cancelled my other plans so it would not conflict with the meeting. I am understanding but can't help feeling frustrated that it seems like I'm the only one who really cares. Since about junior year in high school I was able to become the extrovert I always wanted to be with a healthy social life. I've never known how to incorporate my boyfriend into my friend circle, he's never been excluded but not as incorporated as I wanted. I'm now in college where I've met great friends and even a best friend which is not a type of closeness Ive felt with a friend since grade school. My boyfriend lives in apartment with two other guys, my best friend recently began talking to his roommate. Ever since then many of my other friends started hanging out in my boyfriends apartmnent which is wierd and stressful for me because I've never invited any of my friends to their apartment. Many of my friends wonder why I dont bring him around and find him to be a great person and lastly my best friend has other good friends, this doesnt bother me but when we are all together I overthink which effects my mood. Although I am an extrovert now, there are times where my social awkwardness return and send me into depression/sadness. These social situatuons other me because they are new and I dont know how to react in them. What should I do? We became close over the years, I fell in love with him. I kept my feelings a secret and hoped one day I could confess my love and we'd be together. But when we got old enough, he got new friends, started becoming popular. All he would talk about were these friends, he even started comparing me to these friends and talking about how they got him better and how he was closer to them and that I was expendable. It broke my heart, I started getting obsessive about everything, his sexuality, his relationships, his thoughts and actions, my brain was always buzzing and I was always trying to find ways to win him back and fearing he was being abused or that I'd be forced to live life without him. I made a lot of mistakes out of desperation and it pushed him away further. He started telling his mom lies about me to make it seem like I was the k One who didn't care, and usually it would somehow make us closer as I'd believe the lies and say sorry and we'd make up, but this last time I left him alone. We haven't spoken in 5 months, and he randomly tells me happy birthday when he's never remembered before. Unfortunately it didn't turn into a conversation after that. I don't really know him that well. But I guess I'm not good at hiding these things and he figured it out. But it seems he found out that I like him. Most of the coworkers that I met are 20+ years older than me, so I don't think they would want me to tag along. And only people from the company are invited - I cannot bring outsiders. I have fun going out, just not when i dont have friends around.) Its hard for me to make frineds. I dont know what to say. i cant just say, "hi" because all they will say back is "hi" and then thats it. And there is this girl, she seems nice and is kinda shy like me, and i wanted to be her friend. we had to do a project in PE and she didnt have a partner, so i asked if i could be her partner. she sai yes, but worked completly independently and didnt say a word or help me and when she was done she walked away. she looks at me like she hates me. I liked her personality and i wish we could be friends but she hates me for some reason... she seems like she avoids me. There are other girls that seem really nice, but they already have friends in that class, and of course they are going to talk to their old friends instead of talk to me. I want to be their friends but i dont know how to. i have nothing to talk about. no funny stories, nothing.I look like a girl who is pathetic and has no friends. and my only 2 friends are the only ones who see my personality. TIPS? should i complement? how? |

Basically, I hate the bitchy office politics and I stick up for people who I think are being bullied. I just hate to say people being made to be upset. The other day a colleague of mine was bitching to me about a colleague that had been dismissed and a friend of mine said "stop corrupting carmen, he liked Anne!" (which incidentally annoyed because it made me feel as if I had got Anne wrong!) but then my colleague said "yeah, but Carmen has to know because she see's the best in everyone!". It makes me feel so naive and misinformed. How do I deal with this? |

I've been to their house over 20 times I've worked with his sister Kayla for the whole summer we've done a lot together .. so the past couple times they've come to my house and I've come to theirs I've realized that I liked mike, Kayla's younger brother so we started dating without letting Kayla know and we dated for about two months we would go to other friends house to spend the time together then we told our closest friends so we thought they would never in there right mind tell ANYONE so eventually it got around and someone who I thought was my best friend threatened to tell mikes mom... so then that's how he broke up with me but he said I didn't to anything wrong and he wasn't mad at me and that he wants to still be friends now I understand it's his choice I can't force anyone who doesn't wanna be with me anymore but its worth a try ..I'm 16 and he was my first love it's not that easy.. and by best friend just today told me that Mike asked her to hang out with him today like what the hel he hasn't talked to me in about 2 weeks and he said he wants to be friends but he Hasn't text me at all I'm... I asked about them since I rarely get to see them anymore she told me that they are different not in the good way. I asked how she said that they get mad/annoyed by her D Y J Lu L J S all 7 of them changed. I'll start off on how she told me. Okay first 2 to change is L and D D was someone who would always get mad for the tiny things and would always talk bad. L would be over dramatic about everything and would talk sh!t about my friends.L&D became friends and then some drama with B. They tried to make everyone think she was the one who started it. They are no longer friends. But the D calmed down and B and her were friends again but B told her mom that D and her cousin left her to walk alone then her mom told their mom about it and their friendship ended. Y B said that Y started to get mad at her for small jokes. She said that L is like doing faces like she is all that and she get more annoying when I get crazy and she knows I like this boy and every time I talk to a guy she is like Hey stop talking to him or (guy she likes) is going to get mad and im like idc and she is like do u like him and im like yeah and she says then stop talking to that guy or stop playing with him. |
