Question: What should I do with this staff? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 05:27 PM PST Edit So me and my roommate have staff cause we live in an adult living program. Well one of the staff bought my roommate a Christmas Tree to say goodbye to her cause it is her last day working at this house cause I called her a "B*tch". Cause she was threatening to write me up cause I refused to go on a outing that my roommate wanted to go on cause I was hungry and I was wanting to go do what my roommate wanted to do and she didn't want to do that. But this staff has never threatened to write her up for not going on a outing. and my roommate Well now she doesn't trust me cause I called her a "B*tch". She didn't buy me anything. Just my roommate. I think it is cause it is her favorite cause she knew my roommate longer than me. I also heard that she is gonna take her out to eat but not me. Staff are not suppose to buy us stuff and favorite us. I think she should be fired. What should I do? Serious answers please. |
Question: I knew my brother's best friend would die before he did? Is that weird? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 05:22 PM PST My brother's best friend recently died. The last time I saw him. I had this weird feeling I knew I would never see him again and that he would pass away. Then he did I think less than a week later. Is that weird? |
Question: Why do I feel like **** when people just read my messages? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 05:01 PM PST I feel like **** when people read it and like I can see that they read it, I texted my friend about feeling sad and they just read it. I feel like a clingy ***** and I m currently crying. |
Question: Why am i so mentally ahead of everyone ? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:58 PM PST i've had this ever since i was 6, and back then i used to hang with my sisters, they were 5 years older and i only hanged with them and their friends until about the age of 10, i am now 16, i dont get it , everything i look at or think of is so ahead, i sometimes wonna say something in colege to my friends but i realise its not what a 16 yr old would say, and sometimes im confused how ******* stupid some of these people are and how they dont get some things and how theyre behind , |
Question: I haven't hung out with friends for 5 years? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:55 PM PST I'm a freshman in college and since moving to another town 5 years ago I haven't hung out with friends outside of school ONCE. Since I graduated high school 6 months ago, I haven't heard from any of the people I called my friends. Even my closest friends and I have just drifted apart, though I have them added on Facebook and could text them. I don't know what to do, I feel so empty inside. I don't even talk to my family much either. |
Question: My friends are in a feud. Who should I be friends with? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:29 PM PST Ok so My friends Skyler, Mariah, Jada and Anaston are in a "feud" with my other friends Jaydn, Karizma, Erica and Molly. Skyler, Mariah, Jada, and Anaston have been my friends forever but I've only recently befriended Jaydn, Karizma, Erica and Molly. Who's side should I take? Thanks❤️ |
Question: Friendship Troubles. What should I do? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:27 PM PST Well to start off, I m a junior (female) in high school and have 3 close friends who I ve been with for 3 years, one for 7. Lately I feel like we ve been growing apart and it s really troubling me. This semester, we don t have classes or even lunch together. They re also busy all the time and can t come whenever I plan something. I was finally able to hang out with them today but their friends from lunch were there too. I felt really awkward and it seemed like they were way more interested in their new friends than me. Only one of my friends really talked to me and my best friend of 7 years seemed like I wasn t there, which hurt. They tell me they love me but I m beginning to doubt that. Is it because I don t talk alot? I admit I m pretty boring but despite being friends we have no interests in common (anymore at least) so it s hard to talk about anything other than school and life. Also, they changed a lot. All they talk about with their new friends is how nice someone s boobs or butt is and they just freely grab each other...like that makes me uncomfortable... I just want to have a fun time and talk with them. Anyways, I ve been really doubting our friendship. All I can think about are: Is it normal to feel so awkward and lonely with my friends? Is it weird to have nothing to talk about with them? Do I need them more than they need me? I think I would regret it if I broke my friendship with them but it s just not the same with them anymore. What should I do? |
Question: I HATE SAM!!!!!!!! NUKE HIM SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! NUCLEAR MISSILE HEHEHEHEH? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:19 PM PST |
Question: Why does my brother suddenly hate me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:16 PM PST Me and my twin brother we were always best best friends and never argued and i always tried to be a good sister but since last year when we turned 14 he didnt want to play with me anymore and got annoyed by me and started calling me stupid and dumb :( what did i do, why does he suddenly hate me?? its been a year and im still trying to get to him but he wont talk with me and doesnt want to spend time with me anymore :( |
Question: What do I do because everyone hates me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:08 PM PST I am mean, but I'm mean because I have no other option. When I'm nice or myself I get bullied or used. People use me and I give them what they want. To prevent being used or being bullied I push people away and be mean to them. Now Everyone is telling me they hate me and want me dead. |
Question: What the **** is wrong with me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 04:02 PM PST I just got rejected by the girl of my dreams because we were "too different" but she couldn t name anything we were different about. I have no real friends, only people in school I talk to. I haven t been outside of my house with friends or even in my house with friends in the past year. No one cares about me. Not even my own mother. The only people right now who genuinely care about me are my dad and his girlfriend and they live 2000 miles away from me. I do so much **** for everyone, helping anyone anytime they need it and no one does anything for me. I am going to be more successful than all of my siblings and I get treated the worst. I have nothing but myself and my brain. My life consists of arguing politics on a ******* app and watching youtube videos while I m not at school. No one invites me to anything and no one gives a **** about anything I do. It s not like I m asking for a lot I just want a real friend who cares about me and will take me out and do ****. I don t need money or anything, I am willing to pay for everything. But no one ******* cares. What the **** is wrong with me. |
Question: Should I get this gift for her, my best friend? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:48 PM PST Hello, I've made a true friend this Fall and it's close to her birthday. I'm a guy and she's a female. so this may sound weird. I wish to get her a friendship bracelet with charms that resemble the things that we share in common. The problem is the bracelet with the charms is roughly $150. Should I get it for her? It seems too much for friendship? We've gotten very close these past few months and we are parting ways very soon. I wanted to get her a friendship bracelet as a parting gift. Is it worth spending $150 for a true friend? Thank you. |
Question: I love my best friend! What do i do? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:38 PM PST Me and my best friend have been best friends for 2 years now and i have always been there for her for every boyfriend she has had and i think i love her but i don t want to ruin our friendship if we don t last what should i do i need someone else's opinion on this |

My friend Hunter keeps calling me ugly everyday at school so I don't bother trying anymore. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1761407964144064&set=piaarp.100008246323270.1761407960810731&type=3&theater |
Question: My friend s don t like each other, and I want to see if it can be fixed? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:06 PM PST I have two friends, they are similar, but different. The first friend is very vocal, very passionate, about things they like, and don t like. Which causes them to accidentally sound overbearing, even when they don t mean to. If they for example think a movie is stupid, they have an annoying habit, of repeatedly bringing it up.That being said this friend, is actually very open-minded. They may bring up their thoughts a lot, but they also are very open to other views, even if this person disagrees. Now friend B is more closed-off, they don t really share their thoughts, but they re also more close-minded. B acts as if opinions they dislike, are personal attacks. So if A from above goes off on a rant, about how stupid the plot of some film was, B if they liked the film, takes it personally. They also have a habit of shifting blame, and painting themselves as a victim, while A actually knows that they can be a jerk, and genuinely feels bad, when they realize it. Recently they had an altercation. B in self-pity mode was all; "I m done trying to justify myself, and you can hate me" and A basically said back; "Get over yourself, I ve never once said I dislike you as a person. I just strongly disagree on some things." And I m in the middle of it. |
Question: Should I file a restraining order on this girl? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 03:00 PM PST So me and this girl were bestfriends always hanging out against everyone else and now our other friend that was also my besttfriend told her a lie that I wanted them to fight and thats why the friend stoped talking to both of us and so now the friend wants to fight me she told me so many horrible things about me which nobody ever does and she told me to keep her name out my mouth or things would get physical and she said i dont want her problems or "hands" and that my best bet is to back off or she'll have anothr restraining order on her. cause some other girl put one on her for chasing after her to fight. ima put one on her cause I know it'll make her mad she thinks she runs the world I cant believe I was friends with her and the other girl aint gonna last with her cause this girl literally wants to fight EVERYBODY!!!! |
Question: Should I have sex with my friend? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:51 PM PST So I'm a 15 year old female and me and my friend have gotten pretty close. Last night we started talking about sex and we added to the list of things we need to do together. He brought it back up just a lil bit ago and I don't know if This could ruin our friendship |
Question: Can I get an ommp(Oregon) card for back pain? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:50 PM PST I haven't been diagnosed with anything as I haven't really felt a need to get it checked out, but as of lately the pain has been increasing to the point even sitting or standing is almost excruciating. As I'm only 18 years old I can't help but feel like this isn't necessarily normal for someone my age or physique. so if I were to start the process how long would it take start to finish and what steps do I need to take and what other courses of action/recimendations do you have? THANK YOU. |
Question: How to have fun while lacking a social life, friends, and hobbies? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:48 PM PST They're all having fun and going to parties and playing sports and gossiping away and getting hundreds of likes on Instagram while I'm a seventh grader studying for SATs, actually doing my homework, and playing The Sims and watching Grey's Anatomey. |
Question: How do you call it when a "friend" low key judges you? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:40 PM PST I went out with my friend to a concert, I'm very outgoing (friendly) person, I talk to strangers at bars and clubs, I dance with them, I even make out with them sometimes (I'm in college), at the concert a girl was behind me and I started to talk to her she was fuuun, a few mins after a friend of her that I didn't even know jumped from the back to told me to **** off (it was confusing) in the morning I was texting my friend about how drunk still was, and that I was laughing about all the people I was ******* around with, being loud, talking saying hi (probably more than 12 persons) THEN he immediately said: Yeah, EXCEPT the girl that wasn't having ur sass!! Like wtf, First of all it was her friend not her, I was drunk and he wasn't coz he was driving... Is not the first time I feel this coming from him, should I cut him out of my life? I mean, why he would say something like that?? He can be a lil' religious too. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:22 PM PST adult friend, 30s I'm going over to hang out again, we're friends nothing else there was no discussion of eating .. she brought up cooking something up .. this is through texts she also thanked me for coming the other day and said we need to do it more often, then put a wink face blowing a kiss |
Question: How to deal with fake friends that you thought were real? Please advice!!!!? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:16 PM PST So ik friends change and people grow apart, but this girl and I were best friends since freshman year. She suddenly stopped texting me, answering me or would wait hours and hours later to respond or even the next day. One day I asked if we were ok and she said we just grew apart nothing happened we just did and I was so hurt. I didn't know why we grew apart bc I would text her and ask to hang out and she would say sorry I have to check my schedule I'm so busy I'll let you know. she never did and would hang out with other people. It hurt me so bad, it still does to this day. When we see eachother around she hugs me and is like "hi!! I miss you, you're so cute" kinda like fake but never even asks to hang out anymore nothing. Why it hurts so bad is bc I would be there for her 24/7 still I text her hey im still here if you need it! If she tweets something sad. But I would stay up till 2 in the morning cuz she would cry over guys. I'm a sweet, outgoing girl who has a lot of "friends" but I don't have real, true ones I trust and I'm hurting so bad. She hangs out with the new ppl who smoke and drink and I don't do that. She totally forgot about me |
Question: I need friend advice. Sorta.? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:15 PM PST I've been friends with these specific people for a very long time now. We even have a squad. The only problem is, I dont get along with any of them except for one. They all push me around because I'm different, or I say something stupid, the usual. I play games with them online, thats how we communicate if we can't hang out in real life, but I don't like hanging with them since all they do is treat me like trash. The only one i do get along with is pretty much the peacekeeper. He keeps saying he's gonna make us work it out but has yet to do it. The other day they picked the final straw. I finally left everything that associates me with them. I want to still be friends with the one guy, but I know he's just gonna diss me and take sides. I have other friends besides these guys but I moved further away from them, and I don't get to play games with them very often. So I pretty much left myself with no one to hang with, I don't know what to do? Do I go back and just let myself get treated like a defenseless idiot for the rest of my life? I can't make new friends, I was lucky enough to have these. |
Question: Does my "friend" secretly hate me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:11 PM PST So me and my sister both have been friends with her for years and usually when we hang out with her we both do. I remember she got mad at my sister because my sister got this job that my friend applied for too and we didn't talk for a few months. Well last year this guy she had liked before, happened to start liking me and I never dated him or anything but she got mad at me for him liking ME, I couldn't help it. she didn't act like she got mad at me until she admitted to my sister she was mad that she got the job. Well we all finally made up after a few months and when we hang out she'll barely talk to me but she does my sister. And she refuses to like anything I post on social media. It doesn't make no sense because my sister was the one she got mad at to begin with? I've never done anything wrong to her, I've always been there for her no matter what. and it's not like I could stop that guy from liking me. Is she a jealous friend?or what is her problem? I've been friends with her for 8 years |
Question: Whats my place here, what should and/or shouldn't I do.? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:44 PM PST My friend and his brother we in the pool and they started fighting/arguing so my friend dunking him little brother under the water and held him there and almost drowned him. they when he went swam away from him his starting sinking in the water and grabbing my friend to keep him up like he couldnt swim, even though he could. That just made him more made and he shoved him off of him and went inside. I felt bad so I help his brother out of the pool and he went to lay down. All of that happened so fast, they fight here and there but never to the point where he purposely hurt him. idk what's going on but its kinda awkward (my friend is 21 and his brother is 15) they been acting weird lately, what should I do? |
Question: How do I uninvite a friend without ruining friendship and hurting feelings? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:33 PM PST So here's the dealio. I have two good friends. We will call one 'Sally', and one 'Tracy'. I am going on an Alaskan cruise this summer and could invite a (only one) friend, so I invited Sally. She really wanted to, but her parents wouldn't let her. After that, I invited Tracy, and she was allowed to. But then, a few days ago, Sally texted me and said she actually might be able to. I would really prefer Sally come because for one, I like her a lot more as a friend, and two, I like her romantically and think this might be one of my best chances to make her see me as more than a friend. So how do I uninvite Tracy without being a jerk and ruining our friendship. Keep in mind, Tracy knows I like Sally and told me she would help me with the romantic stuff if she could. |
Question: In search for a friend? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:23 PM PST Hello, i need a female friend here, to commit myself to, to get more advices |
Question: PRINCIPLE AND BOY HARRASING ME? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:20 PM PST I'm dealing with a boy , Riley, who has been punching me grabbing my hair from day one. Recently he's been doing drugs so it's gotten worse, now he's insulting me saying things like "your mom should abort you" and when I said "shut the hell up" he said " no ones talking to you to physco" he had told me to slit my wrists and during a glass lab in science, cut my arm with it. Now my principle is involved because Riley told the principle I punched him, ( I didn't) and he will not stop. Next year I'm in high school, and I don't want it to continue. I've tried killing my self over his |
Question: Drunk women in bars. Fight or walk away? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:16 PM PST Last night I was at a bar maybe 2 hours tops. While in conversation with someone, some random lady comes over to me in my face and tells me I've been "f*ckn with her friends husband" when I asked who she was talking about it was my friends, whom I both know the husband and wife. I ignored it the first time because she sounded stupid and didn't even make any sense. I told the guy and he pulled her aside to tell her everything was cool, but even then she looked like she was ready to run up on me and kept trying to hurt my feelings (saying I couldn't walk in my boots, I should go back over to the car and stay there because I was on the phone with someone) but the sad part is I'm 25 and she was 46. So would it have even been worth it to fight with her? I hardly talked with them the entire time I was there but I was too exhausted to bother asking WTF she was talking about. |
Question: Creative people help!? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 01:11 PM PST No one in my family wants to listen to my ideas. I have a couple friends that support them but besides that my family thinks I'm weird and give me a crazy look everytime I tell them my ideas. They also think that I should care what others think so they criticize my clothes what should I do? Me personally I believe every child is creative but societal pressures and family criticism is what crushes creativity. The only people who support my ideas In my family are open minded children whose imaginations aren't boxed in. |

And stuff like that and im not there:( tomorrow we have school and that's ALL they're gonna talk about! What would you do? How do I not feel left out tomorrow? |
Question: Can some elaborate this quote for me please? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:33 PM PST Me and my best guy friend just separated because he hurted me badly. He posted a picture saying : Friendship means understanding, not agreement. It means forgiveness, not forgetting. It means the memories last, even if contact is lost What is trying to say to me? It'll be really helpful if you can break the quote down. |
Question: Roommate refuses to let me sublease even though Landlord OK'd it.? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:26 PM PST I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and due to some issues with my roommate and best friend, and my mental health I have decided to leave and move in with my mom. Even though the lease was signs two months before I even knew I was pregnant she ( roomie) is now stating she only stayed to help with my pregnancy and the baby when he comes. She refuses to let me sublease, stating she doesn't want to live with someone she doesn't know ( 3 of our friends have offered). I know this doesn't make her the happiest, but it's what's best for my son and I. I told her I would continue to pay rent until I could find a subletter and she freaks out saying I'll never find one (it's a college town, plenty of people) and guilt trips me saying she held off going to new York for me. I don't ever recall asking her to stay. I feel like the only reason she wants me to stay is because she's been bumming rides from me for over a year. |
Question: What's this girls problem with me? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:22 PM PST What's this girls problem with me? This girl who is friends with my friend often gives me cold vibes for what seems like no reason. I've never done or said anything to offend her so I don't know why she should dislike me - my friend once commented on my new hair cut and said to her 'doesn't Amy's hair look really nice?' And she didn't even turn round to look at me for ages and when she did she agreed with my friend but refused to look at me - One time I went to a party and I wanted to get another drink and she said to me sarcastically 'yeah you'll have to go over and talk to the boys Amy!' and her friend laughed - I once messaged her asking if she wanted to hang out as friends and she read my message and ever replied. The next day I saw her in college and she looked really shocked to see me - She likes everyone else's posts and pictures on Facebook except mine. She never wishes me happy birthday or messages me - When she sees me in the corridor, she looks me up and down in a disapproving way What's her problem with me? |
Question: Should I feel bad that my best friend didn't invite me to her birthday party? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:22 PM PST I've been friends with these three girls since our freshmen year of high school and one of them had a birthday party and didn't invite me, and posted a picture on Twitter. But all the other girls went. Should I feel bad? |
Question: How can I make new friends? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:05 PM PST It's already December so now I know it'll be really hard to make new friends. My current friends are kind of rude and honestly don't seem to want to be around each other. I just want out already, but everyone already seems to have their "friend groups" established so what do I do? |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:54 AM PST Ok so im 16 and female. On Friday me, my parents, and my sister went to Ohio and we get back on Tuesday. We live in Florida btw So last night my two friends texted me and asked if they could use my empty house to have a small get together with some other friends. I was sad I couldn't go but I said yes without telling anyone. It turns out that this so called "small get together" turned into a huge party with cars all around the neighborhood. Then someone called the cops on them for being too loud and everyone left Im really nervous. Should I tell my parents? |
Question: There's this girl in my friendship group that can be very rude sometimes. What do I do? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:53 AM PST |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:52 AM PST I have some friends who think it's OK, but I have a couple friends who won't hang with me when I wear my VS sweats, even though they look kinda good on me. |
Question: Encounter: what's the chances that this was actually the guy I was talking to? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:27 AM PST So, I was on this gay hookup app. It's not exactly anonymous, but I didn't have up a profile picture and neither did the guy I was talking to. All I knew was that he was 18 and lived in there same dorm as me. Actually he was only 120 feet away which is hella close. While we're messaging each other (about 6 messages total), I asked him what race is he and he said white. I told him I'm not white and he said it's cool (I'm black). I sent him a cropped up picture of me that only showed my body, but not my face. He didn't send any pics at all, but asked me where was I. 1 minute later, I decided to go back to my room. I was walking up the stairs and saw 3 white guys, but I only looked at the one in the middle. He tilted his phone screen to the side and I pressed the lock button on mine. Our eyes locked for legit 9 seconds straight. It was literally like pupil to pupil as we were walking in different directions. I only glanced at his friend on the left, but the one in the middle looked at me the entire time. Mind you, we didn't exchange face pictures, but why does it feel like it was him? It seems so convenient. He happened to be white, a few feet away from me according to the radar and then a pretty intense stare down. What's the chance that it was actually him or am I just overthinking the complexity of this encounter ? |
Question: I'm suffering from severe depression? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:15 AM PST I'm only 15 years old, and I feel like the world is closing on me. I'm nice to everyone, but nobody thinks i'm their friend since I only talk to them in school. I have a best friend, but yesterday she called me annoying and not to call her because she was busy but she said it in a mean tone. My crush, that I liked for 3 years, will probably never choose me out of all the pretty girls. Everyone has been hanging out together and I feel so alone. Yesterday I had a huge panic attack, i couldn't breathe and I felt like passing out, and it was because of what my friend said to me and because my crush will always stare but never talk to me. When I went to bed, I just had a breakdown and started crying, and I thought that God might hate me and be punishing me for something that I don't know about. My brothers hate me because they think that i'm annoying and I talk a lot, but I only do that because I love them and I want them to talk to me more and try to know the real me. I just feel like I got nothing left and that my life will always be like this wherever I go, because I have bad luck and God doesn't like me even though I pray everyday |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:13 AM PST So ik friends change and people grow apart, but this girl and I were best friends since freshman year. She totally forgot about me |
Question: How can I have friends and not be alone ? :(? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:12 AM PST I'm 19, I was extremely shy all my life in school, I had no friends and was miserable. I only had one close guy friend in highscool and went to prom with him. I had another friend that was a girl and we still stay in touch by text because she moved and he went to the army. I graduated when I was 17, during the time that passed I was never at a stable job or home. I started college this fall but online. I'm at a new job and it's been doing me well so far. I made a few guy friends there, we got lunch together once but only one I'm close with and we like each other n he has given my rides home n we snap a lot. He's the only one that I can be myself and confident around and talk a lot. I go out and have met and talked to a lot of people. But I'm always alone. I'm a girl n it's always easier to have guy friends. But I never have had a time where I actually went out and had a good time Except when I'm with the guy I like. I don't feel nervous or anxious talking to people at all, it's just making friends I'm stuck on. I want to hang out with people. But I have no one. Everyone has a bf or their own life it's hard. I volunteer all the time and am going to a design college next year. Other than that i don't want to live my life alone each weekend and go out alone. It's depressing. |

Question: Is 17 too old to celebrate your birthday at a theme park? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:59 AM PST My 17th birthday is this Saturday and my friends and I have been planning to celebrate it at a theme park we always go to where they have roller coasters, go karts, and other rides. The thing is, one of my friends who's coming just called me and said she is embarrassed to go there because we might be "too old." It is my party. And there are people older than us who go there. She is trying to tell my other friends the same thing. Is it true? I really don't want this drama to be happening. |
Question: Why are there people who have to be rude in their answers back to someone? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:31 AM PST Luckily I'm a strong enough person to realize there's really something majorly wrong with anyone who would do this. Someone just sent me back a message over something painful I was asking a question about regarding a friend. I was laughed at & told I just must not have many friends. What was the point of typing out something like this? |
Question: I have no friends to hang out with on New Year's Eve. Advice? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:24 AM PST I'm a 19 year old guy who has a lot of acquaintances, but no friends to spend Saturday nights and New Year's Eve with. I started university 2 months ago and made some good friendships, but these people don't live in my city and go home every weekend. I don't spend much time in my city so the only friends I have here are my classmates from high school. It's not that I don't have friends in general to talk to, text or hang out during the week, its just that I don't have a group of friends to hang out on weekends and holidays. I don't want to spend this New Year's Eve alone (or at home with family). What can I do? |
Question: Being too generous is bad? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:24 AM PST I just went Christmas shopping and spent most of my money on gifts for friends. Even some people that aren't even my close friends, but in the same friend group as I am. Just thought it would be rude to forget about them. i heard online that being too generous is bad. Is it true? |
Question: Did I do something wrong here. Your opinion please.? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:12 AM PST I am the only girl in one of my high schools classes (AP Math). It is a very tough class and all the guys in the class offered to help me study and do the problems? I often took them up on the offer. They were VERY HELPFUL. I thought it was appropriate to somehow tell them thank you. I made cookies and took the cookies and Cokes to class and gave them to the guys. I also gave each guy a kiss and said thank you for your help. Much to my surprise some of the girls at school complained to the school that the school should not let what I did with their boyfriends happen. Even some of the mothers also complained to the school about what I did. Do you think I did something wrong? None of the guys complained? If the guys are OK with it and I am OK with it, what is the problem? |

Question: Why are my roommates icing/shutting me out? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:05 AM PST I am a college student and currently living with 2 girls. This is the second year in a row but this year they have been excluding me from pretty much everything. One day I was sitting on the couch and they left without saying bye (they had to walk right past me) and went out to eat. I understand needing space from roommates, but they can be really rude, and something as simple as explaining why they wanna go without me would be fine. Also, when I try to join in on conversations, they ice me out. They act like I am not even there. If I didnt have a lease on my house, I would get up and leave cause its not worth my time, but I have to wait another 7 months. I would ask them why theyre acting like this towards me but they are the type of people to turn a problem around on you and make you feel bad for something you never did. I am a really easy person to live with, I dont have any drama in my life, I am nice and considerate to them, and I am very clean and I pay rent on time. I really dont know what to do and I dont want to talk about this with my parents because I dont want them to worry about me being unhappy and what not, but I really do not know what to do anymore because it is making me miserable. |
Question: Should I have told my classmate how I felt? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 10:02 AM PST I went to my high school class reunion recently. My classmate Joe was there. Joe was the guy who helped me with math so I could pass the math course. Without his help I probably would have failed math and had to do another year at school. Joe had asked me for a date several times and I had turned him down. Amazingly he kept helping me with math after I turned him down for a date. Joe had the most beautiful wife I had ever seen. I learned later that she was a swim suit model. Was she ever gorgeous. All of my female classmates wanted to talk to Joe and especially his wife. I learned from them that he was a VERY successful businessman in California. He owned several companies and was a multi millionaire. He lived in a 5000 sq ft home in Malibu California next to the ocean. I came to the reunion in my old Chevy. He came to the reunion in a private jet. Suddenly, I was VERY depressed. That could have been me living the luxury life if I had not been so stupid when I was in high school. I must have been out of my mind refusing to date Joe. I wanted to tell Joe how sorry I was for refusing to date him in high school especially since he had been so nice to me. Should I have told him that? What do you think? Was that a normal reaction I had or was I just feeling sorry for myself? |

Question: Do you think it's rude when I've texted a friend & three weeks later no reply back? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 09:37 AM PST I texted someone over three weeks ago telling her I love her. Haven't heard anything at all back. I just texted her for the LAST TIME EVER acknowledging the date her sister died years ago in spite of not hearing anything back from her for THREE WEEKS. If I don't hear anything back I'm through. This woman went SIX MONTHS years ago without texting me back after I'd broken my wrist. I called after six months on her sister's death date & then I heard from her through a phone call left on my voicemail. She actually said IF WE ARE FRIENDS STILL. I don't think she gets it that you have to do something to keep a friendship alive. I don't like it when it is just a ONE WAY deal, that's not being a friend. I have a feeling I will not hear back from her after my text today acknowledging again the anniversary of her sister's death. I haven't done anything, and we haven't been in an argument. I have known this woman for many years & am saddened she acts like this. One time she did text me telling me she loved me, I purposely didn't text back to see how she'd like it. The very next day she texted saying she loved me that day as she did the day before. She can dish it out, but I notice she can't take it. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 09:16 AM PST people at school / anywhere in general literally act like I don't exist. People only recognize me when they have rude things to say, it makes me feel worthless, so i just stop talking/ contributing in class or socially to people. I have friends that are nice and recognize me, but to other people they just bump into me, move me (like literally grab my shoulders and move me). it makes me so mad and bitter. Idk if it's just because I want attention or something because I just hate feeling invisible. what should i do? |
