Idk but sometimes I use a super bubbly high voice and other times I speak monotone-ish depending on the person. Does anyone else do this too?

what if theyre disgusting drug addicts? or alcoholics? the social worker wont let me into a home when my siblings and i are uncomfortable right?! They must be clean and healthy right? they must put me into a school right? they'll must give us clothes and supplies right? they cant just be some disgusting people who want to get money from the system!

is this normal or not. She expects me to be home before it gets dark. but i'll be starting an apprenticeship soon so i'll be having to arrive home a lot more later than this. She even does the same with my 22 year old sister. she constantly messages her whenever its dark and tells her to get home. With me, she's a lot more worse, i'd be on the bus and she'd be screaming like a mad woman on the phone. Today i arrived home at 5 instead of 4 and she started shouting at me really badly, I have bad anger problems and i tried explaining to her that my battery died so i was unable to text her or ring to let her know the bus was taking a long time to arrive. Instead she just speaks over me so i shouted back and now she's saying stuff like she's never letting me out again.

Ok so I just moved to a new apartment and I think I've developped a big crush on the guy who lives next door: Tall, like 6'5, dark, handsome, always well dressed.. (he's just a bit chubby but WOW! The thing is I'm almost certain I'm not his type; such a guy will only date blondes or women who are 5'9+ I'm really ashamed to even say hello to such a guy. We were about to have a baby but I lost the baby at 5months unfortunately!!! He became so mad and angry towards me that he didn't even check up on me the day after it happened. We argued back and forth for some weeks because I was so angry with him for being angry with me and not being there for me.... long story short he txt me about a month later saying how truly sorry he is for not being there for me and he lies to me because he cares,he just needed time to himself to deal with the situation... etc... even though he texted me all of that I still didn't feel like he truly meant it because he did nothing differently... still didn't spend time with me afterwards and barely spoke to me..... now we are at a point where he changed his number on me. I continued to text him and nag him about how hurt I was and he told me to leave him alone, and to find someone else that will treat me better. He sent me a voice note saying how much he "regrets talking to me & that he doesn't give a f*** about me".... I'm just confused as to what I should do... he changed his number on me so I really don't want to reach out on social media because there is no need to keep repeating myself...it's like how can u say u lie to me because u care one day and then all of a sudden say u never cared about me.... I just want some advice as to what to do next? Do u think he cares? Do you think he will reach out eventually or should I just call it quits?... help!

My ex fiancé and I were together for almost 5 years. Due to mis communication and family interference, he called off the wedding. I don't know if he is playing mind games or moved on but he blocks my number and unblocks me and every time i bring up the past he avoids the topic and gets frustrated. He blames me for everything that happened. We have a mutual friend who keeps me updated on my exs life. Apparently he's very upset but my ex seems fine every time i see him. Why does he behave this way? He's 33 years old and says he needs to figure things out. I asked if there's someone else in his life but he swears there isn't. I'm very confused!

Ive not been back to church in bt 5-6 mos now, I'm glad that i haven't been back there b/c this old guy who I BARELY knew at church for few yrs,starting my Soph yr in HS, until after i turned 24, i've pretty much stopped going to church as of early march this yr, i've slowed down going there. Anyway, this old guy was always approaching me every time i came to church every Sun morning, and at one point he actually just all the sudden walked to me excited and he's like "hi, how are you?" and he he raises his arms out to me already looking for a hug, and I was kind of like this is weird and awkward, at church? Who does this at a social gathering? From what I've seen going to church people there don't just walk up to you for a hug like that, but for this man, it was a little awkward. Another day i was on break and saw him parked in his truck, i knock on his window, he lets me in his truck, we talk for few mins before i had to get back, he pulls out an envelope w/two certificates to a massage place, I thought was nice but why a massage? He lets out his hand cuz he wanted to hold my hand. He has given me $ before, the only times that he's done these things is when his wife was not around to see. I'm not sure why I gave into his nice things, but I am a young single woman in her mid 20s, not sure what his purpose was? Since i stopped going to church i stopped seeing him altogether b/c I felt 'something wasn't right' bt this guy, not sure what went thru his head .

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 1/2 years. LBesides me being happy with him and knowing he's the one, I still am extremely upset about one thing. In our 3 1/2 year relationship I have only received to presents. 3 birthdays together, no presents. 3 Vdays, 1 present the very first one when we were together for 6 months. 3 big anniverdarys, no presents. 3 christmas', one small present. I on the other hand spoil him for his birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and any other day of the year. Whatever he needs, I make sure he has. All our trips, I have paid for. Even MY birthday dinners and trips I paid for. We do go out to dinner &I a movie occasionally and he pays. But other than that, I'm the one spending the money. I lie to my family and friends when they ask what he got me for my birthday or Christmas, because I feel embarrassed that he couldn't have just made sure I had a nice little something to open up. I feel unappreciated. I feel like he is ungrateful, and doesn't see how lucky he is to have a girlfriend that makes sure he never struggles or goes without a nice birthday surprise or something to open Christmas morning. I love him to death and I know he loves me too, but it just really hurts. I've learned to expect nothing on those holidays. Every year I hope it's different and I know it will just be the same disappointment all over again. What do I do? I know gifts aren't all that important, but it would be nice to be appreciated.

My cousin Melanie and I see each other about once a year. We are both female. She lives in a completely different country than me and we communicate via text messaging apps and social media. Whenever we see each other (which is during the summer), we hold hands, kiss (cheek), hug, flirt, hug in bed which is normal for 2 same-sex people in our culture, and we hold each other. Despite the fact that this is normal in our culture, I would still like to ask if this seems normal between 2 Girl cousins?

There is this really cute guy who works in my office hes 35, i just found out today that he has kids, i did also see a ring on his left finger. I am 22 and started working there about 6 months ago and was seated next to me, we didn't really talk but he did alwayd say how are you etc, he would also try and start conversations. He is a bit of a silly guy and funny. When i moved to another team (same office) and whenever he saw me he would say "hey how are you" and stare at me with a smile..now he completely ignores me. Before he started ignoring me and not acknowledging me anymore he did say something that threw me off. He was getting a coke and i happened to be there and said to him "well are you going to give a dollar for that coke" in a nice way and smiled. He replied with "You can shout me" he smiled and walked off..I was lost. Was he flirting Now where i sit i cant see people walk by me but I can feel when someone is staring at me and when i turned around I've seen him walking past staring at me. Yesterday i turned around to stand up and walk to the bin..I see him going to the bin staring my way. I was also at the printers today and i saw his body from the corner of my eye and felt him look my way...he completely ignores me now..whats his problem?
