Question: As a wedding guest, is it appropriate to wear a white tie on top of a dark blue shirt? Posted: 03 Oct 2019 03:27 PM PDT Or is a white tie something that should be avoided at weddings? |
Question: I don’t want my sister to marry her fiancé, what do I do? Posted: 03 Oct 2019 03:22 PM PDT He is disgusting, lazy, mean and makes her do everything for him, was his clothes, fix him food, buy him things. He also hits and yells at his dog when it barks and fear for their future kids, I am completely against spanking and they're not. I am my sister's maid of honor and and I don't want to be. I had a crush on her fiancé in high school but he was great then, now he's ahole that lets my sister get away stuff she shouldn't, like drinking too much, yelling, bragging all the time, being gross, etc. I don't think they are good together. My mom is throwing a bridal shower for her next weekend and I don't think we should be celebrating her marrying this asshole. What do I do? And I fear for their future children ^ |
Question: Would you find it sweet if a guy takes care of a girl who grew up alone? Posted: 03 Oct 2019 01:14 AM PDT And is mistreated by everyone and has no one to defend her. He comes in and rescues her, although he had no intention of falling in love, because he already has his own fair share of trouble. But when he sees how even people who are supposed to love her attack her, let alone people outside of her family. The poor girl is left alone and plans to take her own life but the guy saves her. Isn't it heartwarming to have someone out there who cares about you? The girl in the story was mistreated and called many things, while other meaner girls, who were spoiled and hated on the girl, were always supported by many, and ended up being right. So he comes and changes everything, getting mad at her being treated like that and threathening the girls |
Question: Is love enough to justify to stay with someone who is making poor decisions? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 08:44 PM PDT My boyfriend tells me I am materialistic and I do not know what it means to truly love someone. Of course I find that highly insulting because I never dated my boyfriend for his money, he was a custodian (did not make much), it was his character at the time. But he has changed so much in the last 5 years. Recently he quit his job on the fly and now wants to be a professional poker player. He's tried this before (with little success of making more than 900 in 3 weeks). Since he lost his job, he moved away with his family (he's thousands of miles away), and considering moving back home to be with me. I told I am nervous about him moving in because he doesn't have a job nor has tried to get one these past 3 months he's been off. He's been going to the beach and playing card with little money he has left. He kept saying how if roles were reversed he would take care of me and let me pursue what made me happy. I know he would do this lovingly, but I also would be actively seeking a position before I got there. When I told him where would he get this money to support himself he said he would use all his retirement money. All he told me is our love should be enough and love conquers all, and he doesn't want to be with someone who worries. He kept saying how he wants a woman who would sleep on the streets with him and that their love is enough. Am I really that irrational here? |
