Question: My brother won’t let me see my niece and my nephew (help??!)? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 12:39 PM PDT I have an older brother (I'm 19 and he's 33). In a nutshell, he dates a lot and recently he asked me to return some of his belongings to his ex. I told him I didn't want to be apart of his past relationships/drama, and he basically said I was cut out of his life. I said that was fine as long as I get to see my niece and nephew (his kids). He said that was fine, and that I can have free access to the kids (his exact words). Recently, I went over to see my niece and my nephew and spend time with my other brother as they all live in an apartment together. While I was over there, i guess he said hello to me (I didn't hear it as I was playing with my niece and nephew). The next day he sends me a text that says if I can't say hello to him then I'm teaching his kids to be disrespectful/rude and I can't see them anymore/come over. He also said it could negatively affect them if they think there is an argument within the family. To be truthful even when we were on good terms I still didn't really talk to him that much. How do I go about seeing my niece and nephew? Their mother (who my brother is not with) would be more than happy to let me see them but I feel like that would cause even more drama within the family. |
Question: What to tell a child about her deadbeat dad? Question: Was he wrong for doing this? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 11:54 AM PDT My younger sister had a kid by this guy. He's a good dad & apparel he hooks up with my sister time to time even though they're not together but he took my nephew with him to the ghetto. We're asian American so I'm sure it's a different culture for him. He's actually well off financially but he took him there for pizza. Do you think it was a mistake. I didn't say anything to my sister but I saw it on his social media |
Question: I feel like my family is falling apart! How do I fix this? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 11:50 AM PDT I have an older brother (I'm 19 and he's 33). In a nutshell, he dates a lot and recently he asked me to return some of his belongings to his ex. I told him I didn't want to be apart of his past relationships, and he basically said I was cut out of his life. I said that was fine as long as I get to see my niece and nephew (his kids). He said that was fine, and I can see the kids as much as I want. Recently, I went over to see my niece and my nephew and spend time with my other brother as they all live in an apartment together. While I was over there, i guess he said hello to me (I didn't hear it as I was playing with my niece and nephew). The next day he sends me a text saying if I can't say hello to him then I'm teaching his kids to be disrespectful/rude and I can't see them anymore/come over. He also said he's going to talk to my other brother about banning me from coming over, even though we hang out a lot. How do I see my niece and nephew, even though my brother isn't allowing me? |

Posted: 20 Oct 2019 08:22 AM PDT I currently pay child support for my daughter to her mother. Her mother is about to move to a different town and leave my daughter in the care of her older brother (he is 20 she is 18, but still in school) Once the mother moves I would like to file to terminate the payment to the mother. I have no issue with paying the money to my daughter. Is her brother able to file for child support if she is in her care? |

Question: My friends dad calls him by “sweetie’’ is it normal? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 07:08 AM PDT My friend is a 21 years old guy and his dad is 48. Yesterday I was at his house when his dad called to him he was in the bathroom so he ask me to answer it for him. It was his dad who answers it saying " hi sweetie,is your mom at home?'' I thouth its very much weird!! What do you think about it? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2019 06:14 AM PDT There is always this sexist attitude towards men in society and it is driving me sick! A woman can always do all the bad things but only gets blamed for less than half of the bad things she does but if a man does something a woman doesn't like then the men gets the scolding and is told he is a frat boy and is not irresponsible which is simply not true. In fact most men are more responsible than most women and men suffer a lot of hardships while women can always get the easy way out and for this i think people should appreciate men more and try to lessen the burdens on men in society instead of adding them. Another thing is that people seem to call men perverts if they like looking at women in bikinis or pics of women in underwear but if a woman does it to a man then she is not called out as much and that is just so disgustingly hypocritical. Men are humans with the normal attraction to like women's breasts, thighs and curves and there is nothing wrong with that. |
Question: Can I move out at 17 in Florida? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 06:03 AM PDT My mom, stepdad, and I constantly fight. The only thing my mom provides for me is my phone bill and a roof over my head, but other than that I pay for my groceries, furniture for my room, clothing, necessities, and my car insurance/gas (i don't have a car payment because I paid for it in full with my own money). I have a job and I still go to school, I would just switch to online. I have savings. I have a place to stay and I worked out the rent/bills and I'll be able to manage. I'm asking if I would be able to move out, not if it's legal, but if I do move out, can my mom call the police and make me come back home? I don't think that she would since she and my step dad constantly tell me to get out and how they can't wait for me to leave, and they don't act like my parents at all. It already feels like I'm living with my tenant. But I just want to cover all my bases just in case. I'm not asking for people to try to change my mind or "your mother loves you". I'm asking what could she do to get me back. Thanks |

Question: How to stop my punishment? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 02:55 AM PDT So I had a fight with my parents cause I didnt wanted to go on a wedding. In the end they forced me to come along and now Im being punished anyway. Ive been grounded for 2 weeks now and have another 2 weeks ahead of me.how can I make my parents take the punishment back? Ive already apologized... |
Question: Do parents have a favourite child ? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 02:35 AM PDT Honestly do they? My parents always said they never favoured me or my sister but my older sister is convinced I'm the favourite as I was the youngest. I've asked older colleagues at work and two of them told me their eldest child was secretly their favourite and will always be more special to them as they were their first baby so it means more. |
Question: Does it really mean something if you’re family by blood ? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 01:23 AM PDT I have one older sibling a sister, we were never close growing up, she was always nasty to me and tried to compete with me, we've never been close. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding to please my mum and she showed no interest or support and deliberately didn't help me, she is divorced and hates children and I am 4 months pregnant, haven't even told her I'm expecting, she won't say anything nice. She makes so much effort with my cousins and they all go on amazing holidays and girly weekends and don't include me and purposely don't tell me any details so I know they talk about me and agree to keep me out of their circle. It's really mean and I'm just thinking does having a blood relative really mean anything? You would think as we are direct family we would be closer than all the others but it's the complete opposite and I feel I don't even have a sister. My friends don't understand and all get along with their siblings, why is it me who is going through this?Ive tried to tell my mum and dad over the years and when growing up and they just shrug and say she's jealous. I don't think she is when she's having an amazing time trying to make me jealous. |
Question: How long will weed stay in my toddlers system? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 12:16 AM PDT It came to my attention that his dad used to smoke around him all the time when he had him. After I told him that he'll only be able to see him when me or my relatives were around he threatened to call cps and blame it on me. I don't want them to drug test my baby and have people believe him. |
Question: Am I enabling my mom to abuse my little brother if I leave him with her? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 11:48 PM PDT Do you think I am a bad person if I leave him with her? |
Question: What is feminine intuition? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:28 PM PDT Im a male 16 years old. We were watching football games today and needed a cooler for the drinks. Dad said he would go buy a cooler, mom said no we have one down stairs. Dad backs out and says he will use it instead, mom says the cooler leaks and makes up issues for it. I said why bring it up if it is broken. This goes on and on until mom eventually calls dad a retard essentially for not going to buy a new cooler. What the **** happened? I wanted to tell my dad that mom was testing his will-power but I wasn't sure. Girls answer pls. She insulted him behind his back, of course, and in my presence. "That man is unbearable" It wasn't an argument, to clarify, he went to the store for the drinks etc. and then opted not to buy the cooler. She calmly mentioned the other cooler and then the problems to it after he bit the "bait". I'm insinuating it was a bullshit way to test my dads will-power. if you don't think so tell me why. Ik the girls probably wont answer, they have some ridiculous code not to inform anyone on their dumbass games i've figured out from asking something similar before on the forums I grilled mom for bringing up a broken cooler(knowing in the back of my mind she was up to more femgames), and that he is a wishy washy moron who can't be given a decision to make, I cant think of any logical reason to bring up a cooler you know is broken then get mad when it is chosen to be used? don't reply if you want to gaslight me like what i said was not a legitimate experience. Your replies are deleted from my memory as lies. |
Question: Have you guys felt bad for your parents/family for quitting your job? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 08:19 PM PDT If I quit my job than I would feel bad for my parents/family because well we were poor when I was younger though we are better off now, it still hurts. The job is killing me, however I can do it and everyday is a dread getting up at the sound of the alarm. I tried explaining this to my parents but to no avail. Thoughts? |
Question: How to deal with a crazy mom? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 08:18 PM PDT Okay so first of all, my mom is an antivaxxer (which sucks). I get sick all the time and my mom is one of the sickest people I know. I've tried to talk to her about it but she always gets mad. Also, she won't let me join any sports team at my school because we do random drug testing. She thinks that they use drug tests to experiment on kids, but how can you use urine that has already left the child's body to experiment on them??? And on top of all of this, she's super homophobic, sexist, and a little bit racist. We get into fights a lot and it's really hard to talk to her. |
Question: Why is it that the Moms are meaner than the Dads? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 07:54 PM PDT With me and all my friends I know have confirmed that our Moms are without doubt meaner than our Dads by yelling, nagging and losing their tempers more. While the Dads are usually the ones that are laid back and can reason with and are more calm when lecturing the kids. |
Question: I feel mad that I got fat- shamed ? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 07:12 PM PDT I mean ok I admit being fat isn't good and I feel better I am thin now, but im 20 and I feel mad. I was always nervous since I used to be fat and I suffer a lot from my mom and people mocking me. I compare myself to other people and I feel mad why I have to suffer through anxiety while others are living happily, and they seem to improve and enjoy life but I am always in a bad mood. Sometimes Im jealous of people, and I am very sad about myself. |
Question: I am jealous my friend is married and pregnant? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 06:11 PM PDT I am jealous since she seem so accomplished and happy while I am still single and struggling with myself. I felt jealous she is pregnant she has her own family and she married a good guy, and I feel like crap even though Im not ready for marriage. |
Question: This is not so weird? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 05:50 PM PDT My brother in law Jeff is deployed over seas in the Navy so my sister Andrea uses Skype so my niece Lynne and her can talk with Daddy. Lynne is going to soon be 8 so they do want Jeff to see her as she grows up over the six months he is gone.....Yeah but??? I go over their house everyday and yesterday I thought I heard Lynne getting a spanking? I didn't say anything and Andea doesn't know I seen this; Andea was sitting with the computer (Skype) on with Lynne over her lap. Lynne had her little dress fully raised up past her waist so her white nylon briefs showed. That is just them wanting to share a family /parenting moment when she misbehaved but it seemed weird. What I am weirded out about this was is Andrea pointed out that Lynne now wears prettier (big girl) panties. This is wierd right? |
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 05:34 PM PDT I recently found out my mom has been dating a 27 year old guy for months. She didnt tell anyone out of fear of judgement due to the age gap. I was dumbfounded. I asked her why she didnt want to date guy her own age. She said that (regardless of the age difference) liked this guy, he makes her happy, and she doesnt feel an age/maturity difference around him I want to be supportive, but its crazy hard for me to get on board. I haven t told mom, but I think its weird, immature, and (frankly)disgusting for her to date someone young enough to be her kid. I feel pretty strongly feel she should find someone her own age. Also, a couple evenings ago I accidentally heard them(loudly)having sex.The scaring mental image made it even harder to feel supportive. Regardless, I want to get over my petty feelings and be supportive. My mom didnt date anyone since she divorced my physically/emotionally abusive father when I was 13.She she never openly told us,but I could tell she always still wanted a husband/boyfriend.However,she was too scared about relationships (for both her and her kids). The age difference does bother me a lot, but I do think he treats her well/makes her happy (and he does have a well paying job, so its not like she s his sugar mama/its not as bad as it could be)Consequently, I want to get over my petty feelings and cross the mental/emotional bridge from being bothered by the age gap into simply being happy my mom found a guy she s happy with. How can I do that? Sorry, I forgot to mention my mom's specific age. She's 47 |
Question: I feel bad my friend married ? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 04:18 PM PDT I am not ready to marry. I am one year younger than my friend, yet she is already married for few months and she is pregnant. I feel bad about myself since she is living her own life and she is married while my dad still screams at me and my parents fight in front of me and I suffer anxiety sometimes. I dont feel accomplished like I am still single and I still need to develop myself while other girls they married and they seem very responsible. NOTE: I did not intend my question to be in a poem format I just typed it as paragraph and it shown like this. |
Question: My roommate/brother won’t let me invite my own sister over? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 03:34 PM PDT My sister occasionally comes over to my apartment (once a month or so). My brother/roommate has now told me she is not allowed at our home. My brother and sister do not get along, but my sister causes no drama and doesn't even speak to him when she comes over. He came to this conclusion because she came over last night and I guess he said hi to her and she didn't respond to him?? She said she didn't hear him but now he's made a new rule that if she can't say hello to him then that's disrespectful and she can't come over. Can he legally refuse to let me have her over? I get along with her fine and would hate to stop having her over. I pay a third of the rent and I don't think it's fair that I can't have a guest over. |
