Question: 30 years old and single? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:31 PM PDT I just turned 30 and I'm still single, it feels like everyone else is either engaged or married and already having kids. Part of the reason I feel so much pressure is that I didnt think my life would be like this at 30. I thought I would have settled down by now, but times flies! The years went by so fast and I haven't met anyone :/ How do you deal with the pressure of comments from family members, friends or SOCIETY? It feels like the elephant in the room and even if they're not saying it, I am sure they are thinking it. Makes me feel bad, less than others. |
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 07:50 PM PDT We are going to a sporting event that is out of town and she said her friend offered us to stay there so we would save money on hotel. I told her I need to think about it and I would answer later. I have never met this friend but I do trust my wife that they are just friends. I don't think there is any way I would be ok with this but I need y'all opinion on this. |

Question: Do married/unavailable guys check women’s ring fingers? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 06:57 PM PDT The guy I'm interested in did this (not so subtly). He doesn't wear a ring, but I'm not sure if he just took it off for work. Apparently, he was married before, but I don't know if he's still married or got divorced. Do unavailable men still check out ring fingers? |
Question: Are there any advantages to getting married these days? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 06:55 PM PDT The vast majority of people I know are divorced |
Question: Dealing with women has turned me cynical, is there hope?? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 06:26 PM PDT At this point, I don't think I could form a healthy relationship with any woman. The dishonesty, the monkey-branching, the disdain they show for decent guys while chasing bad boys, disgusting. So how should I live my life? I have a job where I make really good money. I think I will buy a house next year in a good school district, then just sell myself as the ultimate provider. Hopefully, women will be impressed that I bought a house in cash, then I can just pump and dump single moms while she has dreams of her kids growing up in a nice house and attending a good school district. I don't have a heart anymore. |
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 05:35 PM PDT I recently found out my mom has been dating a 27 year old guy for months. She didnt tell anyone out of fear of judgement due to the age gap. I was dumbfounded. I asked her why she didnt want to date guy her own age. She said that (regardless of the age difference) liked this guy, he makes her happy, and she doesnt feel an age/maturity difference around him I want to be supportive, but its crazy hard for me to get on board. I haven t told mom, but I think its weird, immature, and (frankly)disgusting for her to date someone young enough to be her kid. I feel pretty strongly feel she should find someone her own age. Also, a couple evenings ago I accidentally heard them(loudly)having sex.The scaring mental image made it even harder to feel supportive. Regardless, I want to get over my petty feelings and be supportive. My mom didnt date anyone since she divorced my physically/emotionally abusive father when I was 13.She she never openly told us,but I could tell she always still wanted a husband/boyfriend.However,she was too scared about relationships (for both her and her kids). The age difference does bother me a lot, but I do think he treats her well/makes her happy (and he does have a well paying job, so its not like she s his sugar mama/its not as bad as it could be)Consequently, I want to get over my petty feelings and cross the mental/emotional bridge from being bothered by the age gap into simply being happy my mom found a guy she s happy with. How can I do that? I forgot to mention this, but my mom is 47. |

Question: Why do women stay married to criminals? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 03:18 PM PDT I know a woman whose husband is currently in jail and she's still with him. They have a little boy together. He's serving a 1 year sentence and will be out soon. Honestly, I fear for the baby. |

Question: Shouldn’t he stop sending money? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:35 AM PDT Maybe I'm morally wrong or maybe I'm right: Long story: My husbands adoptive mother hasn't worked for yrs due to falling and hurting her back. She collects money on a monthly basis (Idk if SSN plus compensation). And she likes to visit club scenes from time to time. When my husband was in the military I didn't care much for him sending her money and buying her yearly plane ticket, since i always had my own income. I put myself thru school, and worked hard for the things i have. But he's been out of the military for 2 yrs and still sends her the money for the plane ticket and whenever she calls asking for money that's the only time she ever calls. Right now were living paycheck to paycheck, since he's the main breadwinner and i can only work 2 days a week since i have a 7 month old infant at home. I have seen people with disabilities ( even missing limbs) working so what's her excuse. |

Question: Do people think something is wrong with you for being a lifelong bachelor? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 09:06 AM PDT Hello. I am a 37 year old male who has never been married. I haven't dated in years. I am not marriage material. I am one hateful s.o.b. That's just the way I have always been. I guess it runs in my family. So my question to you is will people think something is always wrong with me for being a lifelong bachelor. Thank you for your time. |

Question: If I have been married and divorced, can I still term myself a bachelor? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 02:48 AM PDT |
Posted: 18 Oct 2019 10:34 PM PDT I've been with my husband for 12 years married almost 11. We met through my ex, they were best friends almost like brothers. I was with my ex for over a year we were engaged but I was young and wasn't sure about things. We had trouble communicating when we would argue so he would put his friend on the phone with me and slowly it just happened. My husband and I got married a few months before my ex married my friend. At first things were rocky but after a while things settled down and the boys were friends again. We have been in each other's lives through good things and bad things. Even though I was the one that called quits I never fully accepted it. I cried and got drunk after they got married. I had a hard time adjusting to my in laws always inviting them to gatherings. I finally got over it and realized that he was part of the family before I was. I use to hate how things had been, only wanted to see the negative part of the relationship but would always flirt around him to show him I moved on. I found out a few months ago that his wife left him and lately we've been hanging out with him. I still causally flirt and I noticed that he was flirting back. I've been having sex dreams of him. And we started talking a bit more. We both are happy around the other. My husband and I have been fighting more than we use to. I love both of them and want them both in my life but not sure what to do. |
Question: My guy friend is acting like a *****, why is he acting like this.? Posted: 17 Oct 2019 05:48 PM PDT Me and him just broke up, but we decided to remain best friends. He was perfectly happy yesterday. Honestly, we had a blast. We were laughing our asses off. But today he doesn't talk to me. Which is weird bc we are always talking to each other. So i text him asking him if he was mad..(we had an argument/ disagreement about if he really liked me, or he just was pitying me. Which was not true..he had feelings for me) He told me no, and asked why i was asking him this. So i say that you're not talking to me. He says i'm not in the mood. After class i wait for him, telling him to hurry up (i always do this because he likes to take his sweet *** time :) ) He acknowledges that he hears me, and i mad it obvious that i was waiting for him. He walks right past me and talks to his best friend. And just straight up ignores me. In class he had a bad mood, but now he is happy??? I was so confused. And kinda hurt? Is it my fault? What is going on with him???? |
