Basically, she would've been mad if he got her nothing, even though she got him nothing. With that said, if a woman is a semi-famous musician, that does NOT mean her boyfriend should live off her. And there's nothing wrong with the guy always paying (whether or not his girlfriend is famous), as long as she's appreciative and feels bad if she can't contribute once in a while. So if she plays in a band, but nonchalantly pays nothing, is she not getting paid for her gig (her mom's the leader of the band), or is she just a self-entitled brat? He fills his time with work and social commitments and alone time. He admitted to me that it is unfair to me that he sees me so little. I spoke with him and said even once a week would be better.
