Im preparing for the worse, by making jokes about how I wont see her for a month or how she'll miss holidays but this makes her feel bad so I've stopped but that's just me coping with the fact that it's going to happen. He seemed to be perfect in every way, and the only reason the "talking" was on and off was because of certain insecurities I had that proved to be too much for him at times. As fate would have it, he eventually ended up finding another girl, one who's prettier, a little younger, much more confident, and very outspoken. He ignores me basically all the time now, and it triggers tears on my end whenever I see him with this much better girl. I try my hardest to get over him, but I can't. Why is this? Why can't I just be like other grown women and move on? I want to feel happy again, but I can't help crying and even feeling suicidal at times. What can I do? |

My therapist told me to try and do something that makes me uncomfortable (just to try and get out of my comfort zone) and talking to a stranger is pretty much at the top of the list. We don't have kids. Recently, I started driving for Uber and it does take a lot of my time because of the bills that I have. My girlfriend is really great and I love her. She's either at university or at home studying. She's a full-time PhD student. However, she likes to go out to bars or clubs when I'm not home. We go out every now and then but I'm always working and when I'm not working, I like drinking and relaxing at home. Tonight, my girlfriend asked if I wanted to join her for a Halloween party but I told her that I can't since I'm driving. So, she told me that she'll go without me. I asked if there's a party we can go to tomorrow, but she said its tonight. Would be okay with your girlfriend going out by herself?
