I liked her but never really approached her because I was obese and didn't really take care of myself. I eventually lost a bunch of weight and started taking care of myself by the end of the school year. I didn't pursue at this point because I felt it was pointless because I was heading off to college and she was still going to be in high school (this is the last month of school btw). I graduated in May and I thought I would forget about her but she's still stuck in my head. How do I move on and find some type of closure? Side Note: I brought my weight into this because I used to have really bad self-esteem issues and was told my whole life by people I was ugly. And when I finally achieved something I thought was impossible it was one of the greatest feelings ever. |

My dorm neighbor seems really nice. I like that she isn't flaky and is organized. I'm physically attracted to her, even though that's not the main attraction. She's got a nice smile and her face is pretty, so the physical attraction was there, but it wasn't "she's really hot" when I met her. I started to notice things when I felt an emotional attraction. I just had more of a feeling. I'm open to a relationship if it is right and I'm not just liking her because I'm looking for a girlfriend. I got very intoxicated. Something that rarely happens as my tolerance for alcohol has subsided as I age in my 20s. This upset me because I have a lot of pride and I honestly just want to move on from the situation that was just recently resolved. I also thought it made me look quite juvenile and desperate. We're friends, I've known him since we were like 7, but this is the first year we've really talked. When I say "I've seen him look at me" I mean I've seen him do a complete 180 just to awkwardly make eye contact with me and turn back around. I went for a high five once and he just straight up grabbed my hand. He very excitedly pointed me out to his cousin. But it's taken me over ten years to get over him. But now I showed interest in his best friend and his best friend also liked me. So we were kinda happy for a while but neither of us are ready for a relationship so we kinda got space to try to work things out. Unfortunately during that time I realized that I still had unresolved feelings for my childhood crush. I mean I saw his best friend as a good person and someone I wanted to get to know better and I thought maybe feelings would develop and I still have feelings for him but they are not the right kind of feelings to pursue a long term relationship. And my childhood crush reveled that he also had feelings for me but he can't do that to his best friend and his best friend still thinks that I'm committed and waiting for him. I just don't know what to do. I love my childhood crush but I don't know if he will ever feel the same way I feel about him. And I really care about his best friend and he loves me but I know I can't make him truly happy if I'm not happy. I just can't see three of us being happy in the end. What do I do? |
