Question: Everyone coming at me for being friends?!? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 06:09 PM PDT I am a senior in high school and I am a very social person I am so so nice and I have a lot of different friends who go to my school, outside of my school, etc. well anyways I am very close friends with this one girl "Sarah" and she's so nice has always been there for me and my other friends or people always make comments to me about why I'm friends with her and honestly it's kind of hurtful and annoying. I don't have a problem being nice and being a friend to someone everyone needs someone why are people in school like this? |

I'm going to be in his state overnight should I meet up with him and have sex? My flight won't come in until 11:53 PM and I'll be leaving the next morning at 9:30 AM |
Question: Kpop Club at my school...Any Advice? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 10:54 AM PDT I love kpop and I found quite a bit of friends that like it as well. I am soon to be the president of my kpop club at school and I would like some advice. I have some ideas and plans but I want to make sure everyone is happy. I know for sure I want to do dance covers and perform them at a pep rally or in public. I do want to make positive posters to put up around school for some encouragement (because you guys know high school is tough.) Let me know what you guys would want if you were in a kpop club or what you guys do if you already have one. Thanks ^-^ uwu |
Posted: 01 Oct 2019 08:56 AM PDT My friend posted on her snap story saying how if you're 16/17 and dating a 18 year old it's "illegal" and that "you're still a child" and when I said that it is in fact, actually, not illegal to date someone under the age of 18, only to do sexual stuff with them (even then, I think 16 is the age of consent in a lot of states as well), they said it was "weird" and that im a "pedo" for dating a girl that is almost turning 18 in less than two months because "she's not 18 yet" when I'm not even 20 despite the fact that she isn't a child (because idk about you, but a seventeen year old that is in college and is able to drive isnt a child to me nor the law), and that we haven't even had sex or anything.. But, my friend and her group of friends think it's completely terrible for a 16 year old to date a 17 year or old an 18 year old, and that it's "illegal, gross"etc, and now they hate me.. Am I wrong, or are they wrong, or what????????????????????????????????? Like I can't even tell people this without them accusing me of being a pedo when I clearly state that dating isn't illegal, just doing sexual stuff when someone is under a certain age. |
Question: Why are most of my friendships temporary? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 07:57 AM PDT I'm a 19 year old female and I entered the university and the dormitory a year ago. In this year I tried really hard to make friends and I succeeded in attracting people to myself and I've heard that people can easily trust me. But the problem is that I get along with people very well, but after two or three months, they suddenly try to avoid my company and when I ask them why they're doing this, they say that they behave normally towards me as they always did. I have two friends from high school who really care about me and hang out with me, during holidays when I get back home and I also have a few virtual friend whom I often chat with. I may sound boring or strange. I enjoy classic music, opera, traditional and folk songs, I watch classic movies, I like reading classic and historical books and I don't like the modern society I live in. But anyway, I'm trying to adapt myself to this era and I sometimes need to pretend that I enjoy what others in my age usually enjoy, otherwise people will call me "old-fashioned", "boring", "alien", "a traveler from the past" and so on. And also I don't enjoy wearing a lot of makeup and taking selfies all the time, like the other girls usually do. What should I do? I feel really alone. When I want to eat an ice cream or go to the cinema, no one is there to accompany me, except for the times, I visit my high school friends. |
Question: How should I react when my friends tell me they smoke? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 07:32 AM PDT I have two friends who confessed to me that hey smoke, I didn't say anything I tired to act cool around them, I don't know If that was the best thing for me to do or If I should've acted surprised... |
Question: How do i make friends? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 06:02 AM PDT my town is full of wannabe gangbangers. sounds stupid but it's true. it's because when we all went to the nearest high school, it's 2 towns away and it's in the hood. so the whole school is filled with wannabe gangbangers who pretend they're from the hood but really are from two towns over, and people who are actually from the hood who are in gangs. and if you're not in a gang or if u don't do bad stuff then they don't like you and you will get bullied. i got bullied so bad i had to be homeschooled my junior and senior year. i graduated last summer and i've had no one to talk to or hang with all summer except my one friend who lives 30 mins away. but we can't see each other that often. when i was 15 i tried giving in and smoking, drinking, acting bad but it did me no favors. i have no idea how to make new friends when i pretty much know everyone around here. i don't wanna be like them. they hate me because im different and i like being me, but no one else likes me being me apparently and i feel so lonely. i got a job but everyone from school works there. so i can't really make friends there. and there's no local events within 30 mins around me. everything nice is downtown in the city which is an hour away. |
Question: Experimentation after 2 years? Posted: 01 Oct 2019 03:49 AM PDT so uh, me and my friend are really good friends, and we used to experiment 2 years ago. i want to do it again, but im REALLY, REALLY, REALLY scared of asking him. i could, but im super super afraid of the consequences. what should I do? |

Question: Advice about this friendship? ? Posted: 30 Sep 2019 09:12 PM PDT I ended my friendship with my best friend because of her jealous ways. These are examples; when I transferred from the 2 yr college that we both attended she got upset that I didn't tell her and immediately transferred to my university although she had not completed all her classes at the 2 year college. She even went to the extent of maliciously asking if I would pass my MCAT (medical school entry exam) since her sister did not. When I told her I was confident in my self she looked upset and didn't respond. I knew her jealousy was unreasonable as we have different majors. I finally had enough throughout the years, when a friend of ours was advising me to graduate early from university. My friend got upset and repeatedly said "no" to the mutual friend of ours who was giving advice. It really hurt me to see that she wanted me to be held back since she already was not going to graduate until 2 years after me (not my fault that she was not focusing in school and got behind). That's when I realized that perhaps she wasn't excelling because she was too focused on what I was doing. I completely ghosted her and haven't spoken to her in 8 months. I never told her why and I know she is upset but we've been through this too many times for me to once again tell her why. I know ghosting someone is never the best way to handle things but I was simply fed up. A mutual friend recently told me that she is studying abroad in another country and I am so proud of her. I don't mean to put too much emphasis on our friendship but I just know that she would not have had the bravery to do that if I was still in her life. A mutual friend recently told me that my friend is currently studying abroad in a foreign country. I am so proud of her and it confirms that we really did need the separation. I don't mean to put too much emphasis on our friendship, but she would not have been brave enough to study abroad if we were still friends. Although we haven't spoken, I still see her keeping an eye on my social media. Do you think I made the right decision? Should there be a reunion? |
Posted: 30 Sep 2019 08:16 PM PDT My friend was walking by these two girls. One of the girls walked by my friend and said "SKSKSK." The other girl said "her are you doing that to??" And the girl pointed to my friend. I know it's a "VSCO girl" joke but why did they do that to my friend? She is by no means a "VSCO girl." And was wearing a regular shirt and shorts. These girls clearly meant it in a rude way but why lol? How is what they did even an insult. My friend told me this story and I just want others opinions. Who are you doing that to*** |
