Question: Long distance college relationship? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 01:12 PM PDT I am currently a senior in high school and my girlfriend is a junior in high school, we started dating my freshman year and her eighth grade year. It is now time to start looking at colleges and I am thinking that I will go to a community college in town for my first two years and then transfer to a university. She has always wanted to go off to college and is currently looking at a school that is two hours away and another that is seven hours away. Our towns right now are 40 minutes away so we are used to not seeing each other literally every day, a couple times a week at most. I was thinking that the two hour away choice for her would be very manageable and not a big deal but if she chooses to go 7+ hours away then I'm going to need some help from you guys. I am planning on doing those two years at community college and then transfer into a university that she attends or one very close to her. So that gives us a year of possible long-distance. What do you guys think? If you need more information please just ask. |
Question: Is My Manager A Weirdo Or What ..? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 11:42 AM PDT Okay so I've been working at my local McDonald's for about a month now. & our head manager is Paul. Now I've been at Back Cash pretty much since I got hired. I've been elsewhere but Paul calls me the "wanderer" so I have to be at Back Cash until further notice. & So lately things have been very weird. On Paul's days off I've noticed that he would come in at the time I'm supposed to be in. & Leave when it's almost time for me to go. He's also really strict with the other workers. But when it comes to me he's often soft spoken. Rarely yells unless I "wander off". He's also made it clear that's he's been watching me over the cameras while he was at home. Like that's over the top. & when I'm alone with him he makes things very awkward. Also I remember him coming to back cash & rebooting the computer just to have a reason to stay back there with me. Like I don't know can someone explain to me what might be going on here. I just don't wanna get the wrong idea. |
Question: What to do with a friend tells you that house smell? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 05:37 AM PDT I have 2 indoor cats and my very close friend told me that "people who have cats, their homes smell!" Now I feel self conscious about my home, I am reluctant to invite her. I believe my house is reasonably clean. My cats are my family! |
Question: Why is it harder for a mother to forgive? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 05:03 AM PDT My friends and I once played with this guy's feelings when we were HS seniors. I was faking 3 months of dating for a dare. In the end, I didn't proceed to it but he still found out. I was told by others, he ended up crying in private. He forgave and we're friends again, not like before but still talk at times. I was invited to his cousin's wedding. It's been 4 years later and the mother didn't greet me at all. She had the most hateful expression I've ever seen when seeing me. Why is it harder for his mother to forgive me? He already did. I've been trying to be a better person since. I'm really sorry about it all. |
Question: Why do men not like materialistic women? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 03:35 PM PDT My BF said he has never bought his exes any gifts and that he dumped one of his exes because she asked for materialistic things. |
Question: My wedding vow renewal but I don't love her anymore? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 12:34 PM PDT My vow renewal is coming up in a month. I am not going to lie, I have cheated on my wife three times, two being long-term affairs. I want to move on but we have a toddler son together and I do not want to give him up or affect my son's childhood growing up with divorced parents. My wife and I have been together for almost a decade - I think I am too comfortable to leave but I am not happy. I want to say I "love" her, but if I really did, I wouldn't have cheated on her so many times right? I guess I am just not "in-love" with her anymore. Her and I constantly argue and she is always so insecure. She has the right to be but she has been insecure even before the cheating started. What should I do? I have told her that I am only with her for our some when we argue. She thinks I said it out of spite, but to be honest, there is truth behind it. |
Posted: 07 Oct 2019 07:55 AM PDT I'm 19 and this year my father has suddenly become emotional and trying to attach with me even though he hasn't been giving a sh*t about me for years. |
Question: Why do we literally block out all the painful memories of someone we loved when they die? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 06:06 AM PDT I had this person on a high, high pedestal for years but now there are many mean, hurtful, and even evil things that are coming back to me. I no longer love this man but am beginning to hate him. |
Question: Why was my niece rude and dismissive of me? Posted: 07 Oct 2019 03:50 AM PDT Recently, my niece made a local news channel because of a project she pursued and give an interview. I saw her at a family gathering and told her how my other niece done one better than her and made it to national TV by being picked off the street to comment on a political affair. Then I told her because I watched her cousin's I would watch her interview too to make it fair and said I would text her for the link. I was doing her a favour. I texted her and she told me if I really cared about anything she did I could go online and look for myself and could take my negativity away from her. |
