Question: Manager Yelling At Me In Front Of Everyone? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 02:21 PM PDT I work at a fast food place. I'm very quiet and really only talk when I'm spoke too but very polite and always do what I'm told. I'm also fairly new. Theres this one manager who is always there when I'm there. At first I thought she was super nice but then something changed. Suddenly I noticed her being very cold towards me but friendly to everyone else. She never greets me or says goodbye (but does everyone else including my brother who also works there) I dread having to ask her questions bc she acts very annoyed with me. So far in my short time working there she's yelled extremely loud at me in front of everyone im sure even customers could hear too for tiny mistakesand its extremely embarrassing especially since im the only one she does it too. Both times made me cry & I've dealt with rude *** customers that I never cried over. This last time was bc I forgot to clock out. People do it ALL the time. Its easy to fix. I've never seen her freak out the way she did. Slamming stuff making faces, ignoring me when I was just telling her It was a mistake. I been racking my brain on why she treats me differently but can't figure it out. My brother told another manager and she said she already has plans on complaining about her to the supervisor because she's called her vulgar names. Which I guess she does it too other managers but not crew ? Can she get fired for it? I haven't been back since and im scared when I go back she will know my brother told her and things will get worse. |
Posted: 09 Oct 2019 01:01 PM PDT Such as hanging out with her and equally talkative and banal cousins who asked their boss not to hire me while they are "licking her ***" to help them win a medical position to their brother in law? |
Question: GIRLFRIEND HAS AN ABUSIVE MOTHER? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:53 PM PDT I love my girlfriend and i always feel bad about the way her mother treats her! In our culture its a shame to be in a relationship! We come from families that believe anything physical should not be permitted before marriage! Crazy right? But anyways her mother is all verbal and physical abuse! Shes 20 yrs old but isnt ready to move out because of financial reasons! Her parents dont get along but her father is a very nice hard working guy! Its also a shame to get a divorce in our culture! So that's definitely the reason why they haven't got a divorce yet! Her mother always points out her insecurities! Shames her 24/7! One little think will piss her off! She's psychotic!! Heres an example, just because my gf and her father get along! The mother assumes they had sex...SHES INSANE LMAO! I came to the conclusion she has psychosis because i don't understand how a mother can be this horrifying! Her mother also found out about us and like she took her phone away so its hard to check up on her! Im so close to going to her house just to confront the mother! Theres alot i have to say but then i would need a good 2 days to type everything lol! Any tips? Guidance? My gf gets weaker and scared everyday! She eats less, cant focus, gets a heart attack whenever her mother messages her! Her mom is super bipolar. |
Question: My Father is cruel to his family. How can I have them see I’m different? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:30 PM PDT Right now I'm just associated to him and so avoided. |
Question: How do I get my father not to be so irritable with my C-PTSD? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:25 PM PDT I have chronic PTSD and my father doesn't get it. It hurts me. He caused it by the divorce and I've told him that but with compassion. My mother made it worse by telling me negative stuff about my father as a way of venting. |
Question: I found a box of adult diapers in my younger brother's bedroom. What should I do? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:00 PM PDT My younger brother is turning 16 tomorrow, and I decided to create a scavenger hunt around my family's house. The plan was to make him follow the clues until he reached the clue where his gift was, but while I was hiding a clue under my brothers bed, I saw an opened box of adult diapers. My brother has never had problems with getting to the bathroom on time or anything of the sort, so I don't know why he would need them. I looked up the branding of the diaper, and apparently it is a diaper for ABDL's, (Adult Baby Diaper Lovers). If anyone has some advice on what I should do, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Edit: I should have known the answer from the start. I should have just left it alone. My brother's business is his business and I shouldn't have invaded it. Thank you for helping me understand that. |
Question: Do you think this was a little unfair or taunting? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 11:51 AM PDT A month ago I went on a cruise with my Aunt. My daughter is 17 and a half. She couldn't go because it was over 18.. this was our first holiday in five years. All I hear off my daughter is 'Couldn't you not have waited a few more months' and 'It's a little bit of a taunt considering I am virtually that age.. What is your opinion on this? |
Question: My toddler son is out of control I can't deal with him anymore? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 11:48 AM PDT My son is almost 4 years old. His dad and I co parent. I discipline him more and there are more rules at my home. I don't even think he has any at his Dads. He's picking up curse words, embarrassing me in public places, he tells strangers he's hungry even though he's not. He is getting worse and worse. He does not listen, and I am sick and tired of dealing with him and his half *** Dad. He hit his head at his dad's house and he didn't even take him to the doctor. I just don't know what to do at this point. I'm afraid dss will come Knocking any minute because of him. What should I do |
Question: College students: Is it "normal" to get money from parents to help out? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 10:08 AM PDT Hello, So I am in my 2nd year of University and live pretty far from home now. In my 1st year, I landed a job at Starbucks and made pretty good money. But, now being in my 2nd year, I have more intense courses to take along with volunteering at a hospital and recently getting hired as a academic tutor. However! I don't get many hours tutoring so I am barely making $90 every 2 weeks.... Whenever my dad calls, he always asks "do you need money?" I always say No because I am too embarrassed to say I need help. My mom, however, kind of understands when I am struggling and just automatically deposits money maybe once every month. IS THIS NORMAL? I feel like a complete bum, but.. (1) It's hard getting any job outside of food service that doesn't require credentials (2) I am trying to get into medical school, so, I don't want to get a job that requires so many hours Tutoring is so fun but...it's not paying me much. Is it "Okay" for college students to just get money from their parents every month? |
Question: Does anybody know what game this is? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:38 AM PDT I've bought a magazine that came with a game aroud (2009) maybe earlier. The game had multiple traditional Russian or Romanian stories and I never got to finish it. The first story was about a girl that lived with her father, stepsister and step mother. As she was the big sister she had to to everything around the house( feed the chickens, the horse, cook) and she did not get along with her sister. She stole beet from a crow to dye her sisters sock red. Another story is about a boy trying to cross the lake but he did not have enough money si he started fishing jewelry from the lake to pay. This is all I remember. Please help! |
Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:35 AM PDT She (the cousin marrying) did not see us a lot as kids due to my mother's issues with the family. However, as an adult I see them a lot more and make huge efforts to get closer. |
Question: How can I start hanging out with my sister? ? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:34 AM PDT Ok so I'm 29 and my sister is 31. She's married and has a baby boy. I'm her brother. When she has down time, she hangs out with a male friend whom she's known for years, since high school. While her male friend is a nice guy and so is her husband, I want to reconnect with my sister. Her and I sometimes text. We both love each other even though she's shy about showing affection.Onetime on Facebook, she seemed stressed out about being a mother for the first time. So I texted her and said, you can always talk to me when you feel stressed out and I'll do my best to relate. She texted a smile back to me and thanked me. I don't know how to approach her. I feel like if she wanted to be friends and reconnect with me, she would have let me know by now. We did a lot together as kids. We played video games together, watched movies, rode bikes and etc. I know my sister loves me but she's full of anxious energy and I feel like I will bother her or put her in an uncomfortable position if I ask her to hang out. I know there are plenty of other people in the world to connect with. But I feel like my sister is one of the only people I can fully trust. |
Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:32 AM PDT She is dying of cancer. I do remember her kids who would now be adults and I was thinking of reaching out via Facebook but am unsure what to say. Also when she dies I am unsure whether to go to the funeral or not. I knew this aunt until I was about 12 and she was nice but very blunt which caused her and my mother who is overly sensitive to have a falling out. I have only seen her and her kids once since and it was when I was 15 and my grandmother died. I am 29 now so it was 14 years ago. |
Question: Does this count as daddy issues? ? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:32 AM PDT I have always had a huge thing for dads ever since I discovered sexual attraction at age 13. I had crushes on teachers and on my friends dads... but the thing is I never liked my dad. He was an abusive alcoholic. I also didn't like having step dads at all. I love just being with my mom and my siblings. Us against the world. But not only do I have a thing for dads I only have a thing for white dads. I'm a black girl in my early twenties. People say I may have daddy issues but in all honestly I think it's more a fetish for older men. I grew up addicted to movies and most movies had older white men. So that's where it all started for me. I feel like if I had daddy issues I would be attracted to older black men but I'm not. It's gross to me cause they remind me of family members so absolutely no attraction to them. |
Question: Is my mother beautiful? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 09:04 AM PDT So I am too. |

Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:13 AM PDT She says take out the garbage.Groom yourself, study. She never hugs me.Ever.Why is my mother so cruel? She knows I have no friends.I m so sad.And she yells if I say she i wrong. |
Question: How do I handle the uncomfortable feelings of my sister not liking me? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:08 AM PDT She doesn't like me because she was black in the bathroom door and I had to grab her and move her out of the way. She's in her early 20s with the maturity of a nine-year-old and I'm 30. I virtually never get mad so it frightened her plus she only sees me two or three times a year. She is what they call a narcissist. |
Question: How can I be a hillbilly kid? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 05:47 AM PDT Do hillbilly kids really eat squirrels? Do they really live in red houses? My grandmother told me about them? Is it very fun? |
Question: How do i tell my mom that i dropped her baby by accident? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 05:42 AM PDT My mom wasnt home, so it was me, my dad, and the baby. My dad told me to get her and so i went upstairs, and grabbed her. When i was walking downstairs i had somehow fainted? IDK its hard to explain, like my vision darkened, and i lost grip of the baby. It hit one stair and then another, and went to a stop. I rushed and picked her up and put an ice pack on her. My dad mustve not noticed, but her bump was HUGE. I MEAN HUGE. It took up half her head. Please help! I need to somehow tell my mother that it was an accident. PLEASE. Lord forgive me |
Posted: 09 Oct 2019 04:55 AM PDT He's like talkative and has mental illness and I really don't want to be around him. |
Question: My sister stole from me? ? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:52 AM PDT A few weeks ago I ordered some things for a music festival that I was going to, but they didn't arrive until after I left and my sister stole them from me. I don't live at my house anymore (moved out a couple months ago but used my old address for the delivery) but I really want my things. How can I get them from her? Having a conversation won't work, we're kind of estranged, she's blocked me on everything and refuses to talk to me. Would going to the old house when she's not there to steal them back be a good option? I don't really want to cause trouble, just take what belongs to me. |
Question: Should I be worried that my dad and older sister are suddenly so close? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 11:52 PM PDT I am 39 and my older sister is 57. My other older sister died two years ago unexpectedly. Recently my dad and my remaining sister have been talking all the time on the phone. She lives in Florida. Anyway, they used to not be close. My mother and I used to be able to complain about him to her with her agreeing with us. Now she is all about him. He use to hit me when I was growing up. She is always defending him. I answered a phone call from him in front of her the wrong way and she scolded me by telling me to it be rude. She tells my mother and I that we need to stop being so mean to him. My dad even wants a will now. And my sister tricked my mother into signing something in front of a notary that we thought was to give our mother POA over our father but then we find out it gave my sister POA over our mom. And when my mother and I confronted her about it she said that, by law, only one person can have POA over somebody. She is even so sure our mom has dementia(which she doesn't). She talks about how our "daddy" has a beautiful home and is sharp as a tack and how our mom has been so mean to him their entire marriage. Something weird is going on between my dad and sister. My sister never used to be this way about him. I'm beginning to feel like the two of them are trying to push my mother and I out of the picture. Am I just being paranoid? |
Question: Why am I a problem so often? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 08:42 PM PDT I don't understand so I'm just guessing here.Today I was told to pickup pizza that had been ordered and it was $22.61 cents and I was given $30 by my dad to get two sodas and I tried to buy the soda too but they I was told that it wasn't a part of the order. After that I just left without the sodas and my dad got mad at me and said where was the change. I had 25 cents in change and he said give him the damn pizza and said i gave them all of the money like i didn't know how to count and went back inside and he was able to buy the sodas and the pizza because they said this time they were counting the sodas as apart of the order. I felt embarrassed when he screamed at me. This made me realize that it doesn't matter if I'm at school or away from school I am going to get screamed at,get told that I'm in the way and that I'm in the way. I thought that he gave me that much money because he wanted me to buy sodas and pizza. I feel like I'm annoying because someone gets mad at me when I can't get everything right, I'm in the way,I'm doing something too late, and because I ask for help when I need it. I don't try to do wrong,be late,be in the way and I don't ask for help too much but I've had times where I would get written up and or kicked out for getting mad and or screaming about not getting helped. I try to have healthy relationships with everyone but I can't because I'm wrong for everything even though I try to do right. My father don't even watch any wrestling with me any more. |
Posted: 08 Oct 2019 08:08 PM PDT I am mad they still make me be around him. He says the most inappropriate things and I an uncomfortable being around him. |

Question: My mom engages in attention seeking behavior any advice? Posted: 08 Oct 2019 04:39 PM PDT It isn't as bad because I am trying to ignore it but she almost always complains mostly about my brother because he doesn't help pay for any bills cleans up after himself I can go on and on. I just tell her to kick him out as he has his own place so I don't know why he still lives with us, now before anyone tells me to move out I help pay for bills and I buy my own food my career job will be a lot of work and money that is why I still live with her. The first time I ignored her complaining she walked out half way stopped in the hall way hoping for a response so it's obvious she wants attention but ever since I did that she told him the power is going to be out so he might want to go home so what I am doing seems to be working that made him help out a little bit. But what about all the other times? I just want advice please I feel like I am the mother sometimes I have to pretend she is not there when she complains sometimes it is hard. Thank you I will try and I wish I was trolling. You need to calm down I never said I was going to do anything about it XD in case you didn't know hearing someone complaining constantly is draining especially if it's from a loved one. |
