Hi I'd just like some opinions. I'm trying to decide if I want the traditional diamond engagement ring or if I should do something a bit more unique by going with a precious gem such as Aquamarine. Its going to be a circular stone with a halo of diamonds around the main one. I have 2 friends who decided to get an Amethyst wedding ring and a Sapphire wedding ring instead of the classic diamond. However, my concern is that if I go with the more personalized gem stone, I'll wish I had stayed traditional. Or if I go with the traditional diamond, I'll feel like its too cliche. What do you think? Thank you
