Question: How can I tell someone I met online that I was looking for someone for myself? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:23 PM PDT So, I met this guy online and he asked me what my purpose for joining online dating was. I first told him it was because I had a busy lifestyle. Then when we met up in person he asked again and I told him it was to help break out of my shell because I was shy. Those two reasons were lies. He said he was looking for friends, but I think it was because I wasn t straight forward with him. Anyway, how do I tell him that I was looking for someone for myself and at the same time I value and respect our friendship. |
Question: Was he trying to get my attention or was it a coincidence? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:18 PM PDT I was interested in this guy that ran hot and cold. One minute he seemed like he wanted to pursue a relationship and start dating, the next he seemed indifferent. We went on a date and had a great time. He seemed quite content and excited to see me.Then radio silence for almost a month. I had enough and told him I didn't want to stay in touch after that. He lives in Tacoma WA and I live in Dallas TX so we are a ways away from each other but he visits Dallas often for work. We both work as personal chefs. I never met any of his friends due to the fact that he lives in Washington. We connected on social media only briefly before parting ways and I removed him from my life after our talk. I never liked/commented on his page.I deleted his phone number, removed him from social media and that was it. I rarely use nstagram and post maybe once every 2 months. Nothing to spectacular just cool landscapes here and there and at most I have 30 followers or so because of the lack of content and use. Out of the blue about 6 months ago this guy started liking my photos consistently. Even if 2 months passed between posts he'd appear and like the new photo. I looked at his account and he lives in Tacoma and there was photos of him with the guy I went on the dates with. It was a real account/real person with posts going back to 2013. What are the odds that this guy would find my account when I live in Dallas and I'm practically inactive and he's friends with that guy....? Thoughts? ideas? |
Question: He seems interested but never asks me out on a date? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:13 PM PDT There's a guy in one of my classes that for the last few months has seemed really interested in me. There are hundreds of people in the class but he always seeks me out and sits by me, talks to me etc. I can feel him watching me sometimes and it just feels like there's chemistry in some moments. I see him once per week. We have these great moments and nothing, he never asks me on a date. He texted me recently with just some small talk but again nothing no date, no hanging out outside of class, etc. It feels like he likes me but then why wouldn't he ask me out? I'm not intimidating. I'm nice and friendly to him. Is he just not that into me? it's been three months...and he still seems interested but nothing happens. |
Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:10 PM PDT So, I just mutually agreed to break up. We agreed to have a week of no contact to have time for ourselves to see if we should remain friends or not. On the 5th day of No Contact, he texted me that. Thanks in advance for the assist:) its been very stressful for me. I thought about not responding too. |
Question: I'm confused and not sure what to do.? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:10 PM PDT First of all, I would like to admit I personally do not have much experience with girls. So I met this girl at my university recently, a friend of mine introduced me to her. We instantly broke the ice. It felt like we had chemistry between each other. During the first three weeks I met her, we hangout with each other, not in a group, just two of us. In a week usually we meet up three times at the campus's library or near our dormitory. The activities we do are usually watching anime together and thats basically it. So as we hangout more, interact together I eventually developed some feelings towards her, I decided its best to not directly tell her how I feel yet, so I tested her for a bit. I asked her if she had a boyfriend and she did, long distance relationship. So I ended up heartbroken for a while and still hangout with her like we used to. Now where it gets confusing for me is this, I'm not really sure if girls with a boyfriend would really hangout with someone alone, usually in groups would be much better right? To my next point, she rarely talks about her boyfriend ( i know its unnecessary ) but when she does its usually comparing, mainly my height and her boyfriends height and some other stuff. Next, we don't really have that much physical contact but she usually tries to playfully hit me or touch me accidentally. Lastly, when I cancel an event she gets sad, I noticed she wants to spend time with me Sorry if it sounded really weird or cringey , but help me out. |
Question: I need help with boyfriends mom...? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 08:05 PM PDT So, my boyfriend is 28 with his own three bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Owns a small company. But we are struggling, like most people do in life. It s not always easy, sometimes people just have to go through the storm to see the rainbow, right? Sometimes he asks his parents for help, and they help him... but with his mother... if they help him she belittles him, makes him feel like a loser, makes him feel like he isn t good enough, this last month he s gotten a couple of customers that were snakes in the grass, and she makes him feel like a complete, utter loser. And it pisses me off. He gets so down, so angry, so hard on himself and so hurt. I want to message her, but I want it to sound logical and I m not very good with words. Can anybody put me in the right direction as to what I should say to her to defend my poor boyfriend? She s super smart with words, so If I just message her not being good with words, she s going to make me look stupid and tear me apart which will just piss me off more. |

Question: What does it mean when you look in a guy’s direction and he flinches? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 07:58 PM PDT this guy is in my class and we don't really talk but we sit next to each other (he sits to my right). the teacher was to my left and someone behind him (to his right, but i sat on his left so i had to look behind him) said something so i turned to look and he might've thought i was looking at him? i saw him flinch but then he realized i wasn't looking at him? like he quickly looked away then looked back in the teacher's/my direction when he realized i was looking at the person next to him we're sophomores (almost juniors) if that helps??? ive known him since elementary school and we used to play at recess in 2nd grade and we havent talked much since then other than class projects |
Question: Does my ex still like me? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 07:58 PM PDT We broke up about six months ago we don't talk anymore. I only see her in the halls at school and when I do she seems to look at me pretty often. Like yesterday I was sitting with my friends and she walked by with her friend talking, but when she walked by me she got really quiet and after she passed me looked behind her at me for a quick sec. |
Question: Was my friend lying to get gas money?? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 07:55 PM PDT Sometimes if me and my friend plan on hanging out, he'll come out and say how he has no gas and can't pick me and when I say 'nvm let's hang out another day then' he'll say 'nvm I'm on my way'???? This is coming from the same guy who I ALWAYS end up paying for and I've payed for his gas before too. Right now he's over $70 in debt with me. Was he trying to lie to me to get gas money??? |

Question: Should I give him space?? Please help? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 07:36 PM PDT Sooo this guy I've been seeing for the past 3-4 months. (We been friends and co works for the past 2yrs) has been seeming very distance lastly. He would usually text me during the week and we see each other every weekend. However for the past 2-3weeks he hasn't been texting me. Maybe cause we still communicate at work irk..And we still hang out during the weekend. But last weekend I invited him over Friday night..And everything seems fine. However, I didn't hear from him Saturday or Sunday... and he still hasn't texted me. I know him being distance is probably for a reason. Maybe he lost interest. Maybe he seeing someone else. I'm not sure. I was gonna invite him over this weekend and talk just to see where his mind is at.. but I don't wanna feel like I'm pressuring him. I know communication is a 2 way thing. But I feel like he is pulling away. Should I give him his space?? |

Question: How to tell my fiance that I cheated on her? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 07:14 PM PDT Please do not come here bashing me telling me how much of a horrible person I am. Trust me, I already feel like crap. Anyways, my fiance and I have been together for 3 years, and engaged for 5 months. We are a lesbian couple, btw. I love her very much. She is very great to me. She is sweet, kind, smart, beautiful, supportive, etc. I am all of those things as well. It is just that I am a serial cheater. I mean, I've cheated on her SIX TIMES since we've been in engaged. I just cant stop. When I see a hot girl I just "have to have her". I know its wrong & horrible, but I can't stop it. I've hit on and have slept with two of her friends, also. How should I tell her that I've been cheating on her? I love her so much & do not want to hurt or lose her, but feel that she deserves to know. Any advice? |

Question: Very Confused. Why is he doing this? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 06:36 PM PDT We broke up and when I tried going back he said it would never happen again and he wouldn't allow himself to have feelings for me. At church he's a deacon he kept constantly staring at me but I was standoffish and looked away because I was upset. One day he went down the stairs next to me and smiling, said hi, how are you. I responded but was not enthusiastic. Months passed after that, I realized I missed him I decided to stop looking away. He looked me in the eyes and smiled big. Then he left earlier and passed by me smiled and winked. Why isn't he making a move though? |
Question: Do guys find me short or a good height...? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 06:33 PM PDT So basically I'm 5'4 and I never used to be insecure about my height until I met friends who were way taller than me. I've never really been tall compared to others my whole life, more like short or average. But my female friends now are all 5'8/5'9/5'10 and I feel so small compared to them. Guys always hit on them for having long slender legs and being long and lanky. However I have long legs also I feel but they don't get noticed bc overall I'm not that tall. |

I tried to be open but she shyed away and waited for me to find the answer. Sometimes I catch her looking at me in class, and she quickly looks away. I don't know if I'm over my head with this, but I was just curious. (Both 16) |

Posted: 13 Jul 2018 06:15 PM PDT He left because of my self harm. He knew from the beginning that I self harm but he did not say anything then.. We flirted all the time and talked for eight hours every freaking day. That day he left I told him I self harm and that I do it because of the emotional pain I feel inside me. He told me that was a shitty excuse. He asked, me what will make you stop? He said, I want you to never harm yourself again I told him, I can't promise such a thing. He kept trying to make me make such a promise that I'd never do it again. I told him, I promise you I won't cut myself this month. And then he more mad at me I told him I was sorry, please don't be mad at me He told me Don't ******* apologise, I offered to talk about your problems with you but instead you'd harm yourself. Question: Think about breaking up with girlfriend? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 06:07 PM PDT I have been dating the most amazing girl for three years now. We started dating senior year in high school and have been together ever since. She has a wonderful personality, beautiful, caring and overall all that I could ask for. Our relationship have been solid for the last two years. I was her first boyfriend and she was the first girl I dated for more than a month so the first year was kinda rough. We turned small arguments into much bigger things but we managed to figure that out and compromise. I can honestly say since then our relationship have been so wonderful. However, since summer started we haven't spent time together. I'm not kidding, since college Ended in May we've hung out like 15 times. I take summer classes everyday, so I can't see her in the morning. And every afternoon, her mom take her and her siblings to the town pool and they do something in the night. Then on weekends she stays over at her mom's house. And it's getting really frustrating, additionally we planned to go to NYC last weekend. We bought train tickets and planned to stay at friend's house. Two days before she remembered she was going to Niagara Falls with her dad. Two weekends before, we were to go hiking, then zip lining after. Same day her dad told her she has to be home at 3:30 because her grandparents want to take he out to dinner for graduating. So all we did was the hike. I ask if she can cancel one of the nights at pool with her mom, she says her mom will be disappointed because they don't spend time and they already bought the tickets, additionally we were planning on moving in together so her mom thinks she wont see her anymore. I understand she doesn't live with her mom but you can miss a couple days over the summer. And for the tickets they have an unlimited pass and they broke even in like late May or early June. Additionally we were planning on getting an apartment by my college which is closer to her mom's house. We were planning on going to Montreal for three days in August but now I don't want to because something might come up. This is really bothering me now and I don't think I can put up with it anymore. |
Posted: 13 Jul 2018 06:05 PM PDT My boyfriend has a few cousins and an aunt and uncle he is not close to. His grandmother raised him from the time he was 11. Both his brothers are dead as well as his mom and dad. I love him and have been with him for 3 years. I was thinking that a surprise party for him would be a fun way to celebrate. Im going to invite his friends as well as some of mine well have a bar, and Im looking at caterers. Now I know his grandmother wont want to be part of the fun. Ive talked to her and she's going to come up that weekend and it'll be a real surprise for him. My boyfriend, his grandmother and I all speak russian, so i was thinking of cooking some good russian/ukrainian food. My parents who love him like a son are also going to take him to dinner and a Chicago cubs game. Is this thoughtful enough? |
Question: I relapsed with my eating disorder. Help? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:58 PM PDT My best friend and I have feelings for each other. We had a hard time admitting it at first but then we decided to go on a date next week to see how it goes.Well last night we went out to a rave and I started freaking out about the date and how soon it was and all I could think about was how awful and abusive my last relationship was and I don't deserve a nice date with someone so great and no one could ever really love me. So like an idiot, instead of talking about my feelings with my best friend I went and hooked up with another friend in his car. My best friend was extremely hurt and upset by this and got really mad at me and I was already kinda regretting my decision but the fact that I hurt him so much I just felt so awful and ashamed and shitty that I ended up binging and purging for the first time in four months today. I only ate once then threw it up and I haven't eaten since. How do I get myself back out of this? My best friend and I talked and I apologized profusely to him and we're going to meet up and talk more about it, but I just can't live with myself knowing I hurt him like this. Someone please help me |
Question: How dis you know she was the one? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:53 PM PDT |
Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:53 PM PDT my friend's cousin is hot af so I told her to tell him that I'm 17. I'm 15. He's turning 19 soon. Well he asked for my Snapchat and we've been talking for a while. So the plan in the beginning was that I was gonna have sex with him and just continue to tell him that I'm 17. (yes I have sex at 15 don't criticize me also I'm not a slut my body count is 1 and with my ex bf) But I feel like we're catching some sort of feelings for eachother and he's looking for a relationship and I seriously don't know what to do AT ALL. I really ******* like him and I don't know if he'll like me after I tell him my actual age. I just want to know if it will matter with my age or not because if we get into a relationship it will be legal as long as we don't have sex. And I need to know how I'm going to tell him. Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:22 PM PDT Stormed off within 30 seconds of starting the conversation? Assuming you told her in person and exchanged belongs, how would you feel if she engaged in essentially no conversation and then walked away with a definitive step to her walk? (but not yelling or threatening anything) I had been dating her long enough to potentially call her my girlfriend |
Question: My friend girlfriend? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:20 PM PDT (We are all lesbians) My friends girlfriend was talking to me about relationship problems they where haveing. then out of nowhere she ask me "if I wanted to take her out on a date" I tolder "no I'm uncomfortable with that" then she said "no like a friend date" and I said "yeahhh that's still kinda weird to me sorry" few days later I wonder why my friend has not ask me to hangout. I found out through another friend she's mad at me. Because her lied and told her I was hitting on her. It just really sucks because I never was going to tell my friend about what happen with her girlfriend. Because nothing happen, what she told her was a lie, I didn't think this would happen and it's shitty because it really ****** up our friend circle and now it's weird at work. And I haven't told her the truth I just feel like she still won't like me and now I feel soooo shitty idk what to do? |
Question: How old does she look? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:13 PM PDT |
Question: Is he JUST trying to make me jealous or what's going on? Posted: 13 Jul 2018 05:12 PM PDT So my guy has recently started asking about a threesome with another girl. He knows I'm NOT into that. I'm not bisexual and I'm not the type of girl to think seeing another woman paw all over my guy is "hot". It most certainly is not. It wouldn't be a very good feeling to have to "share" your guy with someone and kind of makes you wonder if you're actually not good enough just on your own. I know he likes p*rn and really, THAT in itself doesn't bother me. I'm kind of wondering how "serious" he is though. I feel like he probably has someone in mind already, but he's never actually named any names. Anytime he mentions it, he ALWAYS says he wants ME and says I'd definitely be one of the girls involved. I still don't like it and always get annoyed and shut down when he brings it up. He picks up on this then proceeds to find apparent "humor" from it by teasing me (he'll laugh and say I'm "jealous" or something). So does he really do this JUST to screw with me/make me jealous or what? Either way, it's pretty annoying at this point. He just randomly decides to bring it up. Like we'll be talking or doing normal things and boom. There it is. He has told me he has "multi-woman" fantasies (like 2 girls pleasing him), but I still don't know just how "serious" he really is about bringing those "fantasies" to life. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Am I being too insecure/jealous/overdramatic? Also, if he really IS just doing this to be a butt head/make me jealous, how can I get him to stop? I don't really think he understands the level of hurt it causes me (even though he should because well, he knows me really good). I did mention breaking things off with him a few days before the 2nd time he mentioned this and he got SO mad. He didn't like the idea of me leaving him whatsoever. Despite being extremely angry, he did tell me he enjoyed our sex life and that I was important to him. |
