Question: Casual evening outdoor wedding dinner? Posted: 21 Jul 2018 12:28 PM PDT My wife and I are getting married in a couple months and we're not sure what to serve at our reception dinner. The ceremony and reception are pretty casual, but not TOO casual lol. (No t shirts and flip flops) we have acces to caterers but can also do food prep and serving ourselves. We thought about making pizzas or bbq. Any other ideas? |
Question: Is guests not being able to shower at a wedding a deal breaker for the venue? Posted: 21 Jul 2018 11:30 AM PDT Hi. My partner and I are getting married next year and need some oppinions on our wedding day. We met in high school and dated through college. We've been together for 11 years. Her family owns a 40 acre property north of where we live. It has meadows, a small orchard, a river, and one building with a couple of beds. We grew up at this cabin and would love to use it for the ceremony and reception. Our plan was to set up tents in one of the meadows and an alter/ceremony location in another. The idea was that guests would stay the weekend in the tents and be able to swim, hike, and camp on our special weekend. This was the perfect idea until we realized that we only had one shower and one bathroom. We plan to take portapotties to the property, but we don't know what to do about the showers. The wedding party, my partner, and I can all use the one indoor shower. However we're not sure what the guests will use. Does anyone have ideas? Or should we find a new venue? Thanks so much! |
