He asked for a play dates and The boy requested that he be invited to his sleepover birthday party So they both like to hang out and have a blast. All summer I have been Inviting him to come over to play or go to the pool etc. I never can get his mother to get together, but For the last two years they have invited us to both of their kids birthday parties. But I can never get her to do a play date. I gave it one more try and invited her to the pool today and she said "I don't have to pay to go to the pool because my mother-in-law has a pool." That was her reply to my invite!! I can't decide if she is rude or high on something 🙄. I got mad and told her that her comment was extremely rude and to please take me off of the birthday party invite list and I would take the hint and quit inviting her to things. I just don't understand why people are so antisocial poor children they want to have play dates and the parents are comatose. |

Since she's left I've spoken to her everyday, mailed her, her favorite food, loaned her money for her bills, sent her daughter Bday gifts and etc. However, since then she's ask me to come out there to celebrate her birthday with her every year and i did. Since then she hasn't visited my state until recent. The week before arrive she stop communicating with me until the day she arrived but the week prior to that one we were talking about all the things we wanted to do and with our children. She arrive at 630 that morning but text me that she arrived like later that evening. She stayed in my city for 7 days and made no attempt to visit me and I only heard from her twice. My issues was that out of 7 days she didn't make attempt for a brief second to say hi but seen a few of the rest of her friends and family and she left and she still hasn't reached out to say she made it home. At this point i want to say our friendship is over.. I just want to know if I'm being petty or not. Thank You. |

I didn't say anything about Karla, because she was my friend at that time. when Karla got to the cabin, later on she asked me if the two other girls had been talking about her. I tolf her the truth and told her that they said that she was dramatic. My grandmother visits often and usually comments on how clean the house is. I'm close friends with her sister so we tried finding out what's wrong. I knew she didn't like me before, so I tried to stop her from hating me, by making her friends like me so I could seem less like an enemy. Her friends like me much more than I expected in a short time. I did this by trying to relax the tension by joking around. But for some reason this made things worse when I made a small comment on how I though she thought I looked silly; she got really upset, gave me the cringiest death glare and stormed off crying. Even her friend was confused by why she got that upset by the comment I made. I apologised to her many times and when I went to her room to apologise again, my friend went in first to see if she was all right. She then had a massive rant about how I was a "horrible horrid person" and how I "wasn't a credit to her life" (I was standing behind the door at this point and she !must have known that because I was talking as I approached her room). I look back on all the things I've done, but nothing tells me why she hates me, even before that incident. I am reply offended by her actions, and hurt that she doesn't respect me as a human being. I know that I can't get along with everybody, but this has never happened to me at all in the past 15 years of my life. I have always tried to be nice to her. PLEASE HELP😭😭 |

And the few I have made they are all wild they drink smoke loud and dance crazy. I dont smoke ,my voice is softer, and I'm not comfortable dancing at parties because I'm in my head too much. Basicly they have toxic family members that hold them down can t ever do anything without it being an issue. Biggest problem is that their mother is disabled and has extreme paranoia and also likes to blow little issues up like if it s the end of the world. Any time I suggest something or tell them how to approach a situation they tell me I would never understand their experiences since "I m rich". They always use this to their defence and I really bothers me. For background they dint have a car for 4 years and all through high school and adult life I drive these guys around for groceries bank trips hell i even taught one of the brothers how to drive. Ever since they started saying I m the rich person I feel then that s how they viewed me, so therefore they where just using me this whole time. For reference I m am better off than my buddies but not to the point that I m bathing in ritches my cars form 2005 I was born in a third world country and I wouldn t be as well off if none of my parents got their stuff straight when they where younger. I m lost at this point and don t really want to cut this friendship off but anything I say flies over their head and they just listen to their aunt who screws them for money. |

I'm a nurse and I've been on a week's vacation with my family. I am getting out of my car yesterday and this guy is coming out. He must have moved in while I was gone. He had anew green Kia don't know the make but it's like a box. I asked how much he paid for it. He smiled real big and said he works for Kia and he got a really good deal on it. The next thing I know he shoved a business card in my hand and said to come see him and he can put me in one. I said I couldn't really afford a new car and he said he would bend over backwards to make it work for me. I tried to give him back his business card but he said keep it, he had plenty. I just made an off hand comment--small talk really--and he starts pressuring me to buy a car even after I said I couldn't afford one. My roommate said since I asked him how much it cost, it was natural to assume I was looking for a new car. I thought of her as a close friend and nothing more. First of all while I was trying to say hi to her on Facebook she logged off of her page quickly and she posted on her wall the very next day saying that "I need some new adult friends," so I wounded it up getting pissed off and unfriending her off of Facebook and blocking her because I was pissed off about what she did. See all she had to do was tell me she didn't want to be friends anymore and I could have accepted that and left her alone. I treat her really well, I don't call her out her name, I've never raised my voice at her, or try to get over on her. See I'm the type of person that believes that life is too short to play games. For her to do what she did she made me look like as if I was less of a man and she also made herself look like less of a woman when she did that. I just want to say God bless her and have a good life and I hope she finds success. I'm just disappointed because I treat her really well and I feel like this is the thanks I get. Posted: 11 Jul 2018 10:09 PM PDT Ok so I'm a 26 year old female and I have a friend that's 58 and she's married to a man and has 2 grown kids and she has been knowing some of my mom's side of the family for years so she is like a second mom to me and so today I was hanging out with her and I asked her if I could call her mom and she said no and she said that I'm not her daughter which I know i'm really not and she said she guesses she could me and she said I look after you because I am special needs for one thing and I don't think right at times and I don't pay attention. I can be like a little girl at times so was it wrong for me to ask her if I could call her mom? It just slipped out though. It's like I wasn't thinking about what I was saying. She didn't think there was anything wrong with me asking that but I also feel like I don't think about her in a healthy way. I feel like I do want to be her daughter because I really like her but sometimes I feel like she doesn't like me as much as I like her and I'm not meaning to like her in a nasty way though. I do need some afire to think about her in a healthy way though |

For years since 2015 I have tried to be nice to him and all he does is treat me like trash. He constantly brings up about this stupid camera he bought for me and how he is so hurt that I smashed the camera into pieces. I hated that camera and I liked my casio camera more. He keeps on saying how that camera he gave me is better because it is in HD. I don't care and I like my casio camera more and he claims that my channel died because of my casio camera. Ever since he started dating that jason idiot he has become such an jerk to me and always put me down. He told me earlier today that I better pay patty gas money when patty does this trip with me in a few weeks. I ain't paying for anything because I have no money to pay for gas. He then told me then you just need to sit at home then. Then later on my macbook had issues and wouldn't boot up so I said to him that I am getting my parents to take me to the apple store in atlanta tommorow. Then he said well you better pay them for gas. I said no I can't and I won't cause I don't have money and says besides they're family. Andy told me this he said that I am done with you I tried helping you and all you do is not listen to me and I am tired of it and jason listens better than you. Why is he such a jerk to me ? How come he doesn't understand that I have an mental illness and can't work so I can't pay people ?? |

We hooked up and messed around quite a bit and went out a lot together like to bars, and restaurants and stuff. We always held hands and always greeted each other/said good bye with a kiss on the lips. She always would touch me and tell me how cute I was. She also told me she liked me to my face multiple times. Anyways, we didn't see each other for 2 months. She went to study abroad. We still kept in touch though and didn't go more than 5 days without contact. We went out for lunch today and it was the first time we saw each other in a while obviously. So when I picked her up we kissed each other on the cheek. She gave me 2 gifts that she got from Europe. When we were at lunch the connection we had came back pretty fast. We were both laughing a lot and ended up staying at the restaurant for 3 hours. We were flirting by touching our legs under the table. when i dropped her off I grabbed her and brang her into to hug me and I told her I missed her, she told me the same and we were just hugging for like 20 seconds. Then she told me we have to go out again for dinner and to a bar after next week. We kissed on the cheeks again and she left... Is it a big deal that we didn't make out or at least didn't kiss on the lips? I mean I think she still likes me she touched my face a couple times today but I dont know why we didn't kiss on the lips.. I dont know if its because we didn't see each other in a while but still. |

I became friendly with a cashier in the garden center. After a couple years, we had lunch, and celebrated my birthday, etc. She is 71 and I am 61. She lives with her daughter and her husband, rich people. She lives bills free. I live alone and have to do everything myself. I work for myself and really busy. She's white. I am black if that makes a difference. She's been calling me over and over and over. I don't answer and she call again. I don't answer and she tells me she's had a stroke as a way of tricking me to answer. What is her problem? I am spooked. This has happened many time. She's had no stroke. She was at work. Should I be concerned? |

I've have gone to community college before and graduated 2 years ago and then in 2018, I started working. It took my quite a while to find a job. Anyway, I want to go back to college, but a 4 year and I want don't want to live at home anymore. I personally want to major in acting. I really want to take acting seriously. However, I'm pretty sure my parents will not agree to it. What other major can I do you think I should do besides acting? How can I tell my parents that I want to move out to school. Are dorms expensive? Am I too old to be going back to college? Most people around 22 years old graduate from a 4 year school. Am I too old? |
| Question: What to do ? Senior Year? Posted: 11 Jul 2018 07:52 PM PDT I had a bad experience in high school . Thankfully, this is my senior year . I had friends throughout my first 2 years but when I moved to another state and started in a new school 9 months ago , I didn't make any friends . I tried but people in the school would talk to you one days and ignore you the next. I really wanted to have friends , i don't want to be alone . People often don't like me because I'm quite and too " serious" at school but they never actually give me a chance because no one tries to talk to me . I don't know what to do ! I wanted to go to prom and do all those senior activities , I wanted to have a god memory of high school but I guess not . I wasn't expecting to have a lot of friend even just one person would have been enough . I'm a senior now and it feels so much more depressing since everyone is talking about prom and all those stuff . Does it get better in college ? What can I do ? |

Posted: 11 Jul 2018 07:39 PM PDT My best friend and I have been inseparable since the beginning of the summer and now we are constantly around one another within every second it feels like. He is currently on a road trip for work and I am constantly worried about him to the point that I leave weird text messages like "When you get in, call me I am worried about you" to "I miss you hope you are okay and nothing bad has happened to you." I don't know if it is just me or if its because we are so close, but I find myself falling for him even more when he is on these road trips for work and I am back at home waiting for him to return to my front door as usual. Is this a phase or am I falling in love with him and no coming to terms with the idea just yet? I don't think I am the only one who has fallen in love with their best friend, especially now. I love everything about him from his personality of being a sweet, down-to-earth, loving person to his ways of showing me that he cares about me like Roses for no special occasion to dinner dates at our favorite restaurant in the city. I just don't know how to handle this situation. Please no rude answers. I can't get him off my mind when he's away on trips with his coworkers. I wish I could be there with him and not stuck at home because of our jobs. Please help. Thanks again for all your wonderful answers or suggestions. He does the flower things out of nowhere and sometimes its really cute when we will be sitting at a table and he has a single red rose in a vase in the center of the table. He's very handsome and such a terrific person. Sometimes I feel like I am not giving him the chance of getting with me as more than friends (Or hoping he would want if we've been friends for so long (circa 2015)). |
| Question: Embarrassed about my small condo? Posted: 11 Jul 2018 06:56 PM PDT I know the question is really dumb and I shouldn't be embarrassed.. I live in a very rich area where all my peers live in huge mansions and houses and people who live in small houses, especially condos are in minority. Most of my friends have never come over and I try my best to change the subject if they want to come over. I am so embarrassed about it. I know I shouldn't be but i'm scared of people judging me. My family is not necessarily poor, my dad and mom split up and both are living in small condos. Many of my friends don't even know that. When I hang out with them I always make sure I have a ride and all so they wont find out. I want to stop being so embarrassed but I don't want my friends thinking I'm poor and treat me differently or something! I have one friend whom I know wouldn't care about where I live but she almost never hangs out with anyone. Do people actually care where you live? I'm going into freshman year and that might make a difference too. How can I stop being embarrassed of my condo? |
