Question: Does he no longer want to hang out/ no longer interested? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 05:47 PM PDT This guy who is someone who I know of, but don't actutally know messaged me and was asking if I wanted to hang out. I said I was busy until fall semester started. He replied ok lol so I said but you could hmu then! as a test to see if it was just basically him being an f-boy, and his reply was its okay with the laughing emoji. I never said sorry for saying I couldn't hang out, so is his reply him saying no? |
Question: How to be social in college? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 05:45 PM PDT I was really nerdy and reserved in high school. I'd always choose the empty table or wait for others to talk first. And all my freinds are really nerdy, we spend time playing dnd and playing video or card games. But I want to be social in college. So at orientation I talked to a lot of people and started conversations and sat at tables with people I barely knew! But now I have no idea what to do. I'm getting a lot of texts and social media connections from people, but the thing is I don't know how to use social media? None of my freinds had it, and I only had an account, never used it. But now people are sending me random blury pictures on Snapchat? Am I also supposed to send random forehead pics at midnight? Like is that how it works? Cause I honestly have zero experience interacting with any thing. Also what do people post to instagram??? |
Question: Had a nice (but weird) night with my friend? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 05:28 PM PDT I'm a guy. Been friends with a girl since 9th grade. (Lets call her Jo) We got closer in college since we attend the same local campus. We hang out all the time with friends, come to each other's dorms to study. There's never been any romantic/ sexual tension. Like sure, she's attractive, but she was never my type and we were pals. Jo is a lightweight and when she gets drunk she gets really outgoing and honest. She'll voice thoughts she usually keeps to herself. Last night we were both at a party. Everyone was going in the pool and some of the girls were skinny dipping in the hot tub and a tipsy Jo invited me to join. There wasn't much room so she sat in my lap, which was awkward cause I got hard. I've never really dated much, focused on other things, so it was a first for me. She didn't seem bothered. Once we got inside I helped her up the stairs and we ended up having a long heart to heart talk like we have before. Jo was holding my hands in hers and telling me she worries for me cause I'm "super nice, just not very assertive." How she thinks I should start dating and is willing to help me find someone. We were still naked, and we ended up crashing in the room we were in. We were still naked and basically spent the night cuddling. When we woke up the next morning, she was still a bit buzzed, but later on everything seemed cool. What does this mean? We've only ever been friends and it seemed like she wanted to help me meet someone, but it was all so intimate? |
Question: I told someone about my friend’s bulimia (an adult). Did I do the right thing? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 05:25 PM PDT My friend is in boarding school with me for the summer. She lives the whole year in Moscow. She told me herself she's been in the hospital with bulimia several times. She was doing really well, and then one of her friends from home committed suicide. Shortly after that, one of her friends from home (who is also here with us) called her fat and told her no guy would ever love her (she's not fat). It started a downward spiral. I got her to start eating more (because she was falling into anorexic patterns, and made sure she wasn't purging) and then one day she was eating some cheese and talked to her mother, and her mother said that she should stop doing that because she's fat. And now she's just completely starving herself. To get her to eat anything I have to eat as little as she does, because she cares about me and will eat more to get me to eat more. And I basically have to force her to eat. I hadnt told anyone about this before now because if she's sent home to Moscow her mother will encourage her not to eat I think. She's also cut herself in the past, and Id be worried about that. But I have to walk with her after meals for several hours to make sure she doesn't purge (she won't do it while I'm there), and it triggers my own issues with food. I finally told one of the camp directors today, because I can't do this anymore. Was I being too selfish? Did I do the right thing? |
Posted: 23 Jul 2018 05:20 PM PDT for meals. And they happily accept. Even though we have done this plenty of times, NOT ONCE has any American co-worker reciprocated and brought us food nor have they invited us to their house. Asians and Indians HAVE, but Never an American. WHY is that? I am an American, my friend is East Indian, and the co-workers have absolutely no problem eating our food. I grew up as an American knowing that this IS common courtesy or so I thought. So what is going on with Americans, and WHAT can I do about it in as subtle way as possible to let them know we would appreciate a meal or invite from them? We don't want to be rude, but we would like to feel appreciated if they reciprocated. HELP with advice. Thanks. |
Posted: 23 Jul 2018 04:53 PM PDT My friend put me in this weird group chat on Facebook with a random 24 year old (didn t say they were related or anything), and she said the 24 year old was her counselor of some sort and helped her feel better when I "bullied her" (aka accidentally hurt her phone). But anyway, she sent a bunch of pictures of herself and he would always complement them, but I didn t start getting suspicious until she sent a picture of her as a baby and he said she still had a "baby face" and I took that as him calling her cute. I left the group chat. I m scared. Help. |
Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 04:43 PM PDT Ok so at everyone is so serious and I always hear the kids in class gossiping about me and when I turn to look at them they act quiet and silent like they weren't talking about me. Like I was at school and I was leaving the class and there were a group of boys sitting together and one of them yelled something at me cursing at me and I haven't done anything to them or that boy cursing at me. They look at me with a serious expression and they don't smile and I could be sitting down minding my own business and thinking that none of them is paying attention to me or looking at me but they are with a serious expression. I don't talk to them and I have never done anything to them. I'm new to the school this year. I'm in high school. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: How to tell my online friend? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 04:19 PM PDT Okay so to put it simple and make it quick... It basically starts with person A meets person B online, person A and B instantly connect and starts a beautiful friendship online. I ve known my Person B for a few years now and I adore them with all my heart, they know practically everything about me EXCEPT my real name which bugs the **** out of me, but I was young and stupid and had really strict parents and you know all that crap about going behind their back and meeting people online/using your really Identity-- So I ve lied about my name for most of this friendship... But I want to finally be like "Hey B, My name Not A but it s C." But I m also scared, we ve had our ups and downs, They are a very anxious person and easily lose trust in people because of past experience and I m scared coming out to tell them the deal about my name will upset them and might cause a bump in our friendship. Know it probably sounds stupid and some of y all will be all "Just tell them what s the worst that can happen?" But it s not that easy, especially for me since I have a hard time making friends and since their basically the only person I consider a friend I m afraid of losing them-- I m a pretty sheltered child, been homeschooled since I was like 12, all this is new to me and I can t turn to my parents for help. |
Question: Will a guy want sex if you send him a sexy picture? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 03:47 PM PDT I sent this guy a picture of me in my bra but my face wasn't in the picture. I only did it because I like the attention. Will he want sex? |
Question: Does this make me a bad friend? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 02:07 PM PDT So I have a friend that's always being negative in every situation in her life. She always sends me negative things about her life and her work and it brings me down and makes it difficult to reply. She sometimes wonders why I don't text back and I'm afraid to be honest with her because I don't want to hurt her feelings. I sometimes tell her to think positively and try to be positive when bad things happen to her but she still wants to be negative. Does this make me a bad person or selfish? |
Question: Question about the guy i'm dating? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 02:03 PM PDT I'm homeless and currently dating this guy who's a soldier in the US army. He's just perfect, I lost my virginity to him and he takes me out to eat to the most expensive restaurants. He's getting me hired at his workplace and he's making sure they hire me. he says stuff like " we will have kids when we are stable and if we get married" or stuff like " this just feels so right " or stuff like calling me is baby and stuff like counting days back to when he will meet me next (his currently in traning) he said he wants to satisfy me in all ways he already took my virginity and now he wants to be the only one to stretch out my pussy. He gave me money once too. What do you think? He always holds hand with me and kisses me every 2 mins. He's 25 i'm 26 Thanks! |
Question: Why do boys send photos of their penis in a chat to a woman? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:20 PM PDT Because they do it, when I talk to guys they just send me some photos of their body or their intimate part is disgusting. |
Question: I really need help with this? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:14 PM PDT Ok so i'm a 26 year old female and I was hanging out with my friend that's a lot older than me and I told her that I was scared she wouldn't be my friend anymore because i'm Special needs and then she said she has a sister that's special needs and she said she's not going to disown me because of that. I've never heard friends saying that to each other so is it like she owns me? And I feel like she's changed. She doesn't text me much anymore i'm The one that texts her first now when she used to text me first quite a bit. I'm just not going to text her for awhile. I feel like I need to back off. Should me and her just kinda grow apart a little bit? And she still calls me her best friend even though she doesn't talk to me much anymore |
Question: She said, she doesn't want a bf just to have a bf? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:14 PM PDT ...What does that mean? (She said that before she stopped returning my phone calls & texts) |
Question: Did I make those girls uncomfortable ? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:11 PM PDT I'm 15, drove with my bike to a veery small town/village. There I saw 3 girls(~13,~13, ~15yrs old) They all glanced and stared at me a little(not because I was cycling) Basically, when they left a building, they were all talking loudly and when they saw me right there, they got silent and barely said a word afterwards. Am I really that ugly to make ppl react so negatively ? |
Question: What does this mean? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 12:35 PM PDT This older girl butts into all my conversations. Her and her friend went "he's 6' tall with long legs ooooh". She finds any way to start a conversation with me. She wants selfies with me and her friend but wants me next to her. She gets red while talking to me and can't look me in the eyes. Well she giggles and says my name a lot. When I said "I played football without a cup" she giggled and said my name. Well I wore a shirt that says everyone loves a big guy and said you have to be at least 6' or 200 to be one she said "Nobody else is as big as you". She liked a picture with my dad tagged in it so it notified him then she told me in person she likes it. Then she randomly asked me how much I'm taller than my dad by in class. |
Posted: 23 Jul 2018 12:18 PM PDT I m a 22 year old female, I m not on good terms with any of my old friends from high school, I haven t made a friend since I was a kid, nobody at work thinks of me as a friends or seems to like me much. I think I have social anxiety but it s because of my inability to make friends. I feel like an outsider and pointless honestly. Is there any way to improve this situation? |
Posted: 23 Jul 2018 11:14 AM PDT the last I heard from him was I called 2 wks ago telling him I heard from division of human rights he said he can't talk now text it to him. I text him to write a letter email it to me so I can attach it to my rebuttal. I get a text before deadline stating he was in the hospital for mental issues and he was at the post office. After that as usual nothing. Is this his bipolar or is he a phony? |
Posted: 23 Jul 2018 11:00 AM PDT His friend is health and young, but none of us are promised tomorrow. Right? Well, will this move by his friend interfere with his filing? I wasn't sure if it will show up somewhere down the road. He's not trying to be crooked, he just doesn't want anything that his best friend has to be attached by the courts in some way. I guess I am incorrect about this, his best friend is leaving everything to him if he should pass. Again, he's healthy and young and truly no one expects to die. My boyfriend is afraid the courts will attach his house or finances. |
Question: I want to vlog but my life’s not that interesting? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 10:44 AM PDT I'm a 20 year old skater stoner and I like going on adventures and dancing, and doing hood rat ****. Problem is I literally have no friends to do those things with and it's sad. No self pity I just want to do v logs and shoot stoner photos of my bud. I'm also going to college this August and there's no doubt I'd find at least 1 person who likes all the same things I do. People tell me to get out there and I'm trying. |
Question: Friend wont stop calling me all the time? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 10:02 AM PDT I have had a friend off and on for nearly 2 decades (met in high school). She has always been a little on the slow side. I use earphones to listen to music or my shows on my cell phone and thus do not answer phone calls when I am busy. This friend of mine we will call Angie, will not stop calling me. She will send me Facetime requests, she will call more and more if I do not answer. I have told her before that not only am I deaf in one ear, I have loud kids and do not like speaking on the phone, plus I am busy. She will not understand its text only with me. Do I have to get nasty with her? She still cannot get it through her head. |
Question: I dont know what to do..? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 09:31 AM PDT So I'm going to be a senior and I have really bad anxiety. Anyways we got our schedules in the mail and I have the first lunch and none of my friends have it. My mom tried changing it and they won't. Question: Do our male co workers just like to complain? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 07:13 AM PDT I work in an office with 31 other people, mostly women. Most of us are single moms. We got a new boss 6 months ago who was only 27 and single. He has proved to be a great boss. Our old boss was fat, ugly, married and hit on every female that worked for him married or not. We were so happy to see him go. We had a going away party AFTER he left. We have all been working very hard on a project for the last month. It involved a lot of overtime at nights and weekends. We completed the project on time and everyone was happy. Our new boss told us the company could not give us a raise but he converted a room to a beauty salon. It is open at noon, after work hours and on Saturday and everything was FREE for the employees. It was something we all very much appreciated, especially us single moms. It will save us a lot of money and is so convenient. We were very surprised as who would have thought a 27 year old single guy would know how much we gals would appreciate this. The two guys in the office complained that we gals were getting better treatment than they were. The boss told them they could use the beauty shop if they wanted to. Us gals think the guys just like to complain. What do you think? Also do you think we have the best boss in the world? |
Question: Everybody blamed him because he tried to stop a bully from bullying, what to do? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 07:07 AM PDT there is bully who always hurt people one day a guy came to him and tired to stop him, they fought and the bully won after that the bully became more aggresive and more willing to hurt others as a way to show his dominance and also revenge from people who stood with the guy who fought him. and now poeple blame the guy who fought him because they think he is the cause of all this problems and the cause of the increased bullying what are your toughts ? what to do with this poeple ? aren't they wrong since they are blaming the guy for everything and avoiding the bully ? |
Question: Am I in the wrong or is he? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 06:34 AM PDT Ok so I became friends with this kid within these last two weeks of this semester of college. So we became good friends over the last month or so, text often and all. What started as ajoke of calling each other awkward end up in a mild arguement over who's awkward or not. I mean it was just an arguement but it didn't get too mean or personal. Anyways he then blocks me on all forms of communication, saying I'm delusional, but I did manage to try to tell him to forget about it and let's just start fresh. He said no and to never contact him again. Isn't that a bit extreme? I told him this was just a silly arguement and to just chill out and all. It was just an arguement that wasn't anything to personal/mean and I even apologized and to forget about it. No one has ever blocked me like that and we went from texting everyday to now probably never talking to each other again. I just find it odd. I've gotten into much worse arguements with friends where it's actually been mean among them and I still made up with them or they didn't go as far as blocking me lol. Isn't it immature? I told him to chill and you don't need to block me over it? He's the one being awk this way isn't he? |
Question: 11year old brother keeps waking up during the night? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 02:26 AM PDT Apparently he is 'autustic'. However he keeps sabotaging things during the night. Messing with things and ruining personal belongings. Why is this? I woke up to toothpaste down my mirror. Ive had enough. |
Question: My friend is preggo? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 02:19 AM PDT ok so my friend is pregnant and i'm not supposed to know because her bf is the one who told me. i want her to "tell me". and she's gonna get an abortion without telling her parents and i think her parents should know, but, again, i'm not even supposed to know she's preggo so i can't tell her to tell them, let alone tell them myself. her parents r pretty strict but she's really young and i think she should consult them. |
Question: Did I do something wrong? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:46 AM PDT My best friend was standing at the grill and I walked up behind him and put my arms around him and then I kissed him on the back of his neck. He shut his eyes but when I whispered I want all of you. He turned around put his hands on my cheeks whispered I want all of you too. Later on we were upstairs, "doing it" and I felt this rush inside of me but when I looked at him, his head was tilted back and he kept saying oh my...and then he screamed again and rush came through again. When it was over, he fell over in the bed and started panting really heavily. I leaned over, asked if he was ok and he just smiled and we kissed. |

Question: Any advice for my current school situation? Posted: 22 Jul 2018 11:48 PM PDT okay so I don't mean to trouble anybody with this but I need help on this issue. I've been battling anxiety and stress after I moved away from my hometown 5years ago, Its a total different life style and I haven't been able to make nice friends where I for sure know they have my back, recently I have visited my bestfriend that I had to move away from and we haven't talked in 5 years but we hung out like it was yesterday, she is defiantly a life long friend that I meant in the 5th grade. I am now in 11th, but IDK what to do because I'm always bullied, and I have no friends where my parents forced me to move, but I do have a younger sister who is now getting signed up for my school and she has a bestfriend up here and they are always together she is as well getting in rolled, they said they have my back but the problem is they are not in my grade and they will have a bunch of friends together, and its going to be their first day of high school I'm nervous and don't want to go back, my parents gave me the option to home school but then I wont have a social life, so now I'm stuck in between getting bullied sometimes and feeling guilty not going to normal school not being able to focus on my grades and getting worse ones then if I were to home school or go to home school be bored feel weird because I'm not a normal teenager that goes to hs and doesn't have a social life. I've been telling my mom and dad I needed a therapist since I moved up here, constantly, I need help |

Question: How to rise above someone subtly? Posted: 22 Jul 2018 10:06 PM PDT My school is a really small kindergarten through eighth grade school. I'm going into eight grade next year and I have known most of the people in my class for nine plus years. In fourth grade, there were six girls in my class, and there was a ton of drama. Always, there was one girl who was really mean and backstabbing. We'll call her Betty (not her real name) Betty makes people turn on their other friends, and picks a new best friend every week. It's super annoying and me and my best friend want to rise above her. Can we do that subtly? |
Question: What should I buy my best friend, or do for my best friend for his 20th birthday? Posted: 22 Jul 2018 09:18 PM PDT So my best buddy is turning 20 in about a month and a half. Obviously 20 is a huge big deal. He is younger then me, but I really love him like he was my own little brother, and I want to give him something special for his 20th birthday. Should I give him something for his 20th in September? Or should I just take him to his favorite restaurant like I do every year, and instead wait to give him something awesome for Christmas. This is my favorite friend and I want make him feel really good and special for his 20th. Also we are both guys, so please do not suggest things a girl would by her boyfriend. |

Question: Should I out someone who may have sexually assaulted others on my social media? Posted: 22 Jul 2018 08:27 PM PDT Backstory: An ex-friend who I'm not necessarily on good speaking terms with, who was honestly emotionally and mentally abusive to me and I frankly would rather not hear anything from period messaged me out of the blue to tell me her ex boyfriend has targeted several girls in the area and that i should probably post about it on my social media. But I'm on the fence between saying "I'm not obligated to do this and I'm not gonna allow my ex-friend to continue to tell me what I should or shouldn't do" and "I should post about it online because it might help other girls who are on my social media who also live in the area from possibly getting assaulted". I'm also worried this might impede on my own personal safety as this man is known to be violent. I also really don't wanna get involved for fear this might start trouble with other people who might be on my social media who know him personally. I know we live in an age where rapists are being outed, etc. but what if I might just put myself in the middle of it and cause trouble with myself all because I opened my mouth publicly online about the alleged situation? I honestly don't know what I should do, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Question: Why does she want it back for now all of a sudden? Posted: 22 Jul 2018 06:38 PM PDT My friend from church who is older than me and like a mom to me gave me her pink bible back in July 2015 and asked for it back for awhile and said she wants to check notes she left in there but there aren't any. Does she want to have and keep her bible back even though she wrote my name in it when she gave it to me and dated it? Why is she asking for it now and didn't before? I went to church today and poked her to say hi and she was being rude and asked if I brought it bc last Sunday I felt sick and didn't go and she doesn't text me anymore so she should've told me and not be rude or give me an annoying look on her face and hurt my feelings when she's never never acted the way she did this morning to keep me crying thru whole service this morning. I texted her while we were in church and told her she really hurt my feelings but just said "ok, sorry" and "ok". It's like she doesn't really care about my feelings or making it up to me. I won't talk to her til she apologizes. |
