I'd bring up marriage and he'd say something like "yeah but just so you know I'm getting a prenup" and he's reminded me at least 4 times in the two years we've been together and ruins a good moment to think of the future with him. It bothers me that every time I think of us having a future he's basically like "yeah but our future could end". Is it bad that I don't like that that is the first thing he thinks about? I feel like he's more worried about his money and house than thinking about a good, happy future? My Dad's been cheating on my mom since 2012 when I was only 7. She immediately figure it out once he brought his girlfriend to our house while she was at church. My parents are friends with a family down the street from them and one of the daughters from the family is asking about me. I'm living with my boyfriend (now fiance) of 8 years. We were in love in high school, and he is younger than me by a year. So now with my explanation done, how can I talk about or discuss this with a girlfriend/fiancé, but make sure that she knows how much I love her and knows my reasoning? My husbands friend has been living with us for over a year now. I only agreed in the beginning because he was getting kicked out of where he was living and needed a place to go. I went to visit him and his family they were so caring and respectful although they don't speak English and I don't speak Arabic.
