Question: Does she like me or she is just being friendly? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 05:29 PM PDT At the beginning of this year I started working for a new Company, I didn't know anyone there back then. I met a girl there, a coworker, I am really into gym stuff, She did Crossfit, so as you might think we connected very well with each other and we became "close friends". We spent a lot of time, we laid on the grass and slept together there, she always hugged me and told me compliments and about, I asked her: Why do you spend a lot of time with me, if you can go with our other male-coworkers and be their friend too?. She said: because I don't like them. One thing I haven't said is that even though we spent much time hanging around and hugging each other, she never told me something about sex or kissing each other, so we never went further. Here some facts: She is 27, I'm 20, she is also married with 2 kids, I have never had a girlfriend neither kissed anyone, since I'm shy as hell, so I was never going to propose anything weird to her. I think that if she would have like me, She was going to kiss me or tell me that she likes me, but also I think that friends just don't "touch" each other that much. We are still coworkers and we still do the same, sometimes we sleep together during breaks and lunch but just sleep. But what she does not know is that I love her, I would like to tell her I REALLY LIKE YOU!, but I'm not sure what could happen because ain't sure if she feels the same So I would like to know what do you think I should do and also if you think if she likes me |
Question: Buying the same gift? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 05:16 PM PDT My best friend's (lets call her x) birthday is tomorrow and i had it all planning out for the gift but then her other best friend got her the same exact gift before i could give mine to her. and I'm just reconsidering the whole thing. Should i give it to x or get a new one? |
Question: Am I in the wrong for asking for more money? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 04:59 PM PDT Okay I babysit Monday-Friday from 1-4 PM I watch 3 kids ages 4, 2 and 7 months. I been fine with $100 with what we agreed upon, but the kids have been eating more snacks being hungry and they usually eat before they come and eat dinner at home. I asked if I could have $20 extra on my week to help for their snacks etc and just got a dirty look from the Mom. Said she was gonna talk about it with her Husband, but never got back to me. |
Question: Proof of jealousy on Facebook? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 04:44 PM PDT Ever notice how if you hang out w/ someone new/different & they tag u on Facebook, your OTHER friends tend to not "like" it? This happens consistently w/ me. Am I the only one? I'm just curious. Please, no trolling. Also, I've noticed that sometimes when people go on exotic trips, some of their FB "Friends" won't like the posts, but they'll like other posts that aren't so impressive. It's almost like they don't wanna acknowledge the (impressive) things about them, right? LOL |

Question: Am I addicted to video games? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 04:13 PM PDT So I don't know if its really an addiction but my mom always says I need to find something better to do, or find a new hobby and I use to play basketball all the time but hen high school came I asked my friends if I should try out for basketball they all said no I suck to much... so I stopped playing basketball. Also every other hobby I have isn't *** fun as playing games for me. I like to build computers and stuff but I can't do that 24/7 because I don't have a ton of money. My mom says I should go and do stuff with friends but I don't like to hang with them for some reason, and they never invite me anymore either, I use to do stuff with them almost every weekend but for some reason they stopped asking me and I guess I never had to ask them and so now I don't really want to, idk, they also say I'm embarrassing so I guess maybe that's why they don't ask me to hang anymore. And tbf it is the summer and no school so I don't really have anything else to do until school starts and I usually don't play as much during school cuz my schedule is School, gym, dinner, homework, then depending on the time I might play some games for an hour or so then go to bed, some days I don't even play video games even if I have time to play them. Sorry for some of the random rambling :P the *** is meant to be an as, I might have put an extra s at the end XD I like to build stuff in general, but I don't have the equipment and/or money I need to actually make the things I actually want to make... and programming I like to program but i'm a newbie at it and that requires a computer and my mom says I need a new hobby that doesn't require a computer... |
Question: Leaving a friend group? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 04:06 PM PDT So I'm going to be a sophomore in high school, and since about 7th grade, I've had this group of friends. We did everything together, and everything was fine. In the past couple of months, I started to get invited to less and less things, and recently, not invited to anything at all. The thing is, if i ever brought it up, they would just invite me then. When we were together it was fine, everyone was happy and no one was excluded. Well, yesterday one of them told us he we throwing a party, and I was invited. I was so happy, i finally got included in something. Well, a few hours later, in the group chat with us all, the guy said "X isn't allowed to come to the party" and literally everyone said "agreed". All of them. That hurt. Well that was the last straw, and I told them that we're no longer friends, any of us. Now I'm facing the problem of that I have no other friends. Of course everyone keeps telling me, "I'm always here for you" and what not, but I need good friends again. I feel lost. What should I do? |
Question: Do I come right out and tell my new friend? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 03:49 PM PDT About 10 years ago I read of an animal abuse situation online. It happened over a thousand miles from me but I wrote the people involved a threatening letter to scare them and it was targeted towards their whole family. It said essentially "You guys better watch your backs". I was arrested because it was asked of me "Do YOU plan on doing anything?". I said "NO", it was just a letter and eventually the charges were dropped after I did a class for people who had been arrested for the first time. I have no criminal record now. I apologized to the people through my lawyer. Well, an article about the arrest showed up in a small town newspaper and it is online if you do an internet search about me. Sure , it was 10 years ago but it is still there. I met a new friend and she was saying how she does intensive online research every time she dates someone new. While she is not going to be dating me..I am just a friend, ,I am worried she is going to see that article from 10 years ago. Should I just tell her about it outright? It was wrong of me to do, stupid, immature and I genuinely apologized. But the online article from 10 years ago in that small town newspaper (which comes up first if you google me since there is nothing else online about me!) doesn't say anything about how sorry I was, that I myself was not going to do anything, that I was just acting stupid. And that I had genuine remorse. Charges were dropped but I still hate that article because I made amends. |

Question: How to get people to stop knocking on my door/ showing up 24/7? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 03:26 PM PDT I am very much so a loner and I like a tidy, clean house and have no problem saying my goodbyes to people and getting the show on the road. My fiance, however, is a lingerer. He is a very poor communicator and feeds into the people who never shut up. Getting him out the door from family events seriously takes 45 minutes. I'm very blunt and have no problem telling people I have to go or I would like to have a quiet house now. This gets very sticky because my uncle is now showing up almost every other day to chit chat with my fiance. It's so dofficult because I'll be over here telling him to basically leave while my fiance keeps yacking up a storm with him. I try to send hints about how it's just not ok for people to show up at my house but he keeps doing it because half the time my fiance will end up answering and bullshitting for 2 hours. I can't stand this and I dont know how to get the message across to not only my fiance but my uncle as well. Please give me any advice you have! This has been going onway too long! |
Question: I don’t want friends other than my husband, is this unhealthy? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 02:29 PM PDT So I had best friend of 15 years, begin to ignore me, as her taste in fun "changed". She now likes partying, drinking, drugs etc., which is the polar opposite of my idea of a good time. She lately has been desiring to hang out lately, but I have no desire to, as last we tried that, she literally just talked about how hot she was and how her life was. Upon thinking about it, however, I realize I have no friends other than my husband, and many siblings and family members of course. But I find that I am perfectly happy with that, and don't desire friends, or trying to rekindle the relationship with my old friend. Is this unhealthy or am I wrong to not want to reach out to anyone, including my old friend? Struggling internally with this one. Thanks. |
Question: Why do white people think they need to always be in charge? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 12:30 PM PDT I notice when working with white people on projects for work or school, they always think they need to be in charge and tell others what to do. It's quite irritating because they often shut other people out. |

Question: Why I just can't find a girlfriend. Please help, I am 20!? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 11:09 AM PDT Well, let me explain: I am a 20 year old guy, I have NEVER had a girlfriend and I'm still virgin. I just don't understand HOW the heck do other guys do to date girls! For real, I have a very nice looking body, have a six-pack very toned and I try to take care of myself as much as possible, I'm 6'1 tall and always try to dress well, I use great perfumes as well. I'm not rich but I have a good job. I mean, I'm aware that I am not the most handsome man, but I have known very ugly guys who find love. And the weird thing I see here is that I don't even have a female friend. I don't know what I can do, I'm really shy and I have never tried to pick a girl or flirt with 'em. |
Question: Friend with a girlfriend likes me? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 10:53 AM PDT i have a friend whos been in an open relationship for almost year now. We had a friends with benefits type relationship but we drifted apart after some stuff happened with our friends (we're in the same friend group). a while ago we became closer again but havent continued to hook up. A few days ago we were pretty drunk and he told me he has feelings for me, and that even though he loves his girlfriend, he feels he cant be the way he wants to be with me because of her (their relationship allows sex, not multiple dating partners). our conversation got interrupted and we said we'd save it for some other time, im guessing he wants an answer. things werent awkward at all afterwards, i teased him about it and we continued our flirty friendship. Back when we used to hook up he would always joke about us dating or about leaving his girlfriend for me, but im sure theyre just jokes, i dont doubt he loves his girlfriend. I like him too, but i dont want to tell him that because i know it most likely wont bring anything good. What should i do? Why would he tell me if he has a girlfriend? Should i just tell him i like him back? |

Question: How do i nicely tell someone to stop texting me? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 10:44 AM PDT hi, i used to be REALLY close with two people from my high school and we graduated last year. I study abroad now and to be honest i have moved on from most of my relationships from high school, i don't want to be stuck in the past, i want to make new friends and evolve as a person but my highschool friends don't get it?? i ignore them from months but they still spam me, the sad thing is we have nothing to talk about anymore?? i don't feel like sharing information about my life with them and i dont wanna know about their lives either. i've tried leaving them on "read", ignoring their messages and still being active but they're still cluless about it. How do i tell them to stop texting me and NOT be rude??? |
Posted: 28 Jul 2018 10:36 AM PDT I texted my friend how has she been because I've not seen her for months, and she replied great, thanks. I hope you are doing well. So, I followed up by asking her how is her school, she texted back few days later saying it's okay, and that she wishes me best of luck in my school work. Is she not interested? |
Question: Guys, suggestions please? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 07:26 AM PDT I am the only girl in one of my high schools classes (AP Math). It is a very tough class and all the guys in the class offered to help me study and do the problems? I often took them up on the offer. They were VERY HELPFUL. I thought it was appropriate to somehow tell them thank you. I made cookies and took the cookies and Cokes to class and gave them to the guys. I also gave each guy a kiss and said thank you for your help. Much to my surprise some of the girls at school complained about what I did with their boyfriends. Do you think I did something wrong? None of the guys complained? If the guys are OK with it and I am OK with it, what is the problem? If the girls continue to complain, I think I will give the guys something they will enjoy more than a kiss. Guys, any suggestions on what that might me. |
Question: Are they treating me different at work because I am a woman? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 07:24 AM PDT I am a single mom working in an office of 9 people. I am the only woman in the office. My coworkers are the greatest guys ever and I love them dearly. They are always available to help me when I need help. I trust them completely. If I have to take time off for a school event or to take my child to a dr. appointment, they will cover for me. On the few occasions I have unexpectedly had to work late, one of them will pick up my child from school, take her to a restaurant for a meal and then take her to my home and stay with her until I get there. They will not take any money for doing these things for me. I was telling my female friends that I strongly believe in equal treatment of women in the workplace and that is what happens at my place of work. All pay and promotions are based on merit. They pointed out to me that all the things my fellow employees are doing for me looks to them like they are doing it because I am a woman. They asked me if I had ever done anything similar for the guys and the answer was no. Am I getting special treatment because I am a woman or is it because I am a single mom? |
Posted: 28 Jul 2018 07:19 AM PDT I believe that if people were more observant then they would realize that something is wrong with their friend and ask them what is wrong. However; my friend says that if people want compassion towards their problems then they need to communicate their problems themselves rather than giving hints and hoping that someone will realize something is wrong. What do you think? |
Question: What should I do about the false accusations, lies, and harassment? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 07:01 AM PDT In my neighborhood area, I've been accused of being in a gang/selling drugs when I haven't done anything close to that. I use to hit the green but I only did it when I felt really anxious. But I stopped completely and haven't done that outside since last year. I'm still being harassed though. I've noticed strange patterns and behaviors. I can tell that I'm being followed. People would joke that I sell drugs(again I don't do those things). I've noticed people try to trap me by offering me drugs. I can tell that people would try to record me or take pictures of me. I promise you, I'm not making this up. It's gotten so bad that I've noticed these patterns at my job! I know this sounds crazy but it's true. Even my sister can see what I'm talking about. I don't know if it's government related but I want them to stop!! It's irritating and it's very insulting. Sometimes I want to cry because they seem so determined and I'm really just an innocent individual. I tried ignoring it but it's really that annoying. What can I do??? Please help me :( I don't have enough to move yet! |
Posted: 28 Jul 2018 06:01 AM PDT So I'm 15 he's 16 and we've known each other for 8 years and he's just mysterious.. he lies about the weirdest things like he lied about all his grandparents dying but I actually met them after that when they came over when I went to his house to hang out and also about his house being under 'renovation' for 6 months because apparently he didn't want me at his house he wanted to go to mine. And he calls every day which I don't mind but I don't always answer maybe I do like every 3-4 days but he just is like why haven't you talked in 4 days and sounds upset.. its rly annoying. Bottom line is he's just SO shy and it feels like work to stay friends with him. The thing is he has no friends other than me but for me i actually have several other close friends. So I'm just wondering if I should gradually leave him.. thanks in advance. |
Question: Do I need new friends? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 02:21 AM PDT I have had the same 2 friends ever since I had entered high school (they were my first friends ever(im quite antisocial) my friends say they care but they rarely talk to me and although I understand that they have their own lives to care about, it hurts me very much that they think I need to be more independent when I'm basically always living life by myself. I feel like im a burden to them and that I need to cut off our friendship for good and hopefully make new friends. for a couple months now, neither has spoken to me in general unless I start the conversation. they don't answer my calls, they only text me and they only reply a few times then they stop replying in general or tell they are busy. I feel like my depression and anxiety are too much of a burden on them and that the more I try the worse i'll leave our friendship in so should I just end the friendship or should I keep trying? |
Question: Why do my friends lie to me? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 01:22 AM PDT so i try as hard as i possibly can to be the nicest person i can be to my friends. i stick up for them, i always have their back (and they know it), i show up to every. single. one. of their birthday parties and get them the gifts they've been asking for the entire year. i compliment them, i make them laugh. i'd never do ANYTHING to intentionally hurt any of my friends. i have two 'groups' and they're all my best friends. all together there's only 5 of them; the 3 friends i go to school with and sit with at lunch, and the 2 friends i've been friends with since elementary school, yet it's these 2 that are the "problem" so to speak. i always always always ask them to hang out, and one of them always lies to me and says she's busy or going somewhere (her excuse is ALWAYS "i have to go to my aunty's baby's shower") but then will continue to send us snapchats of her at home, and the other one also always tells me she's busy. now, one of them invited me to a birthday event she's having on the weekend, and as this has been going on for 4 years now and obviously i'm getting tired of it, i acted out of anger and said i couldn't go but now i feel bad. i know that they're the ones that have been treating me 'badly' i guess? but i always feel bad about everything i do. do you think they hate me? what can i do to fix everything with them? |
Posted: 28 Jul 2018 12:53 AM PDT She goes a week or longer without talking to me. However, she always says how we're "friends for life" and talks to me like like I'm her good friend every time she talks to me. One time I left a group on Facebook that she was in and just 30 minutes later she told me not to leave it and acted upset. |
Question: What should I put on a graduation card for a friend? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 11:39 PM PDT I have been friends with this person forever and I'd like to put a thoughtful but slightly funny note in a graduation card. I am rather sarcastic and dry so I think a nice/witty note would be nice. Any ideas? |

Question: Telling my friend about his wife? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 08:59 PM PDT I've known my friend since elementary school. He's also best friend's with my brother. He's in the military and currently living overseas. My mother disclosed to me that she had seen his wife out in public with another man, getting cozy and lovey-dovey with one another man. I have a lot of respect the man and I hate seeing how a man who's serving our country is being treated by his wife. I asked my brother about what to do and he said to tell him. He knows him better than I do. IS this really okay? My morals are telling me to tell him but this could destroy everything between those two. If your wife or husband was cheating on you, would you want someone to tell you? |
Question: Would it be weird to be roommates with your (opposite sex) best friend? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 08:30 PM PDT Would it be weird for me to be roommates with my best friend of seven years? He's like a brother to me, but I was wondering if it would seem weird to other people. Should we get a third person to stay with us to kind of make it seem less suggestive? |

Question: I feel unloved by my friends. Am I being paranoid? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 07:01 PM PDT I dont know how to start this question but I have no one to talk to so this is the best I can do. I feel like out of all of my friends I m the one that everyone cares about the least. I m not mean and I ve never done anything to break their trust so I just dont understand. Alot of the time when I m sitting at home alone with no where to go, I will see a group of my friends doing something together and no one ever invites me. When I have a couple of them over they talk quietly sometimes and they dont tell me things. I m always the last to find out about any personal secret too. It s always been like this and it got worse when I moved because i had to find new friends, not that the last ones were anything special. I feel sort of unloved and untrusted and it just makes me so sad sometimes. I dont want to ask to be included either because if they wanted me there they would have asked because we message a lot. Am I over reacting? |
Question: How can I learn to coup with the fact that my only friends have other friends? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 06:59 PM PDT So after high school I only have 1 friend left. Like not any type of exaggeration I legit only have 1 person who I talk to. Like if my phone goes off by text, Snapchat, or whatever I know it's him because that is only the person who ever talks to me... Anyways the problem I have is the fact that he has many other friends that he talks to and hangs out with. Now I know that it's not a bad thing that he has others friends and I'm actually happy at the fact that he does but it bothers me and really upsets me when I see him post things on social media saying that he had fun with others. It's selfish of me I know but when I see that stuff it gets to me. So my question is why does it bother me so much and how can I accept the fact that he has more friends other than me. |
Question: Friend is sleeping with teacher? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 06:59 PM PDT My name is Maddie and I've known my friend Cain Has been sleeping with a teacher in the Highschool for a while now. They're both males but Cain won't admit to being attracted to men. Well during school last year (currently on summer break) I walked in on Cain and said teacher making out in his classroom during lunch. I don't care what Cain's doing if it floats his boat but I'm worried about them being caught and getting into police trouble. I'm not sure what to doooo. |
Question: Am I in the clear or no.? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 06:40 PM PDT For this post, I m Dallas, and my best friend who is a girl is Sharkesha. I normally text her or write on Sharkesha's facebook wall Happy Birthday in the morning before school. This year I forgot and remembered when I got to school and she is in a few of my classes but I didn t have the time to say it. During my lunch, we met up, I didn't want to appear as if I forgot her birthday, so I told Sharkesha "what's its like being 21". I said this as if I knew all along. She didn't question anything and just responded normally. Is this an OK question to get me out of this. Am I good or still, should I have said Happy Birthday? I know each person is different but still. I don t want her to be mad deep down. |
Question: I have a question about this guy on my face book? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 04:55 PM PDT For months and months, he messages me every day in my private messages, he dosent get too personal or pervy but he is always there every day. I had already told him I am not interested sexually or romantically. he claims he just wants to be a friend. Than suddenly he asked me if I have skype and I told him no. Once again, I got upset because it's bad enough he is always in my message box every day, but now wants me to do skype. I told him no. I go on face book for a few minutes to see what is going on with my friends and post a few things and get off and didn't want to be rude when he sees my activities and but I didn't reply to his messages. Every day has been getting too much. so I told him I can't do this message reply every day, I work, I come on for a few minutes and get off and do my other things. but he keeps claiming he only likes me as a friend by is in my private message box every single day. ??????? I rudely told him NO to skype and told him this every day private messaging me is too much. So I ignore his messages till I feel like answering, is it me or is there something more than friendship motive to message me every single day, even if it's not sexual stuff , still ,every day? |
Question: My old babysitter is on facebook. Would it be creepy if I friended her 26 years later? Posted: 27 Jul 2018 03:09 PM PDT No Bozos-- No sexual thoughts about her but I fear she might find it creepy as I looked for her on Facebook and found her. I was only ages 5 to 9 when we knew her and was 11 when I saw her last. |
