I've developed a crush (possibly light feelings) for a guy I know through my job. He used to avoid me when he first started working there a year and a half ago. When we were stationed at the same military base from December 2017 to May 2018. So, I had just left my second class. My first class actually got canceled, and I spent a long time walking around campus, writing a bit in the library. I went to my second college course, and listened to presentations. I had already done mine 2 days prior, so all I had to do was take notes, and go over final reviews for our summer test next week. I didn't formally talk to her, but removed myself from the course. Being that I've been taking 2 hard courses, I found that this may take the load off for me as they are fast paced summer classes. XD I noticed that it was the teacher I thought it was, but her head was down, so I walked in the other direction to a grassy place to "read my phone". She walked down the path next to me, and I avoided all acknowledgment of her existence. I figured she didn't see me, or at least didn't really notice. ...THen, as I had assumed that she didn't see me, I looked up. Guess who had stopped in her tracks to just look at me. She stopped, while my head was down. She was staring right at me. The irony is that i was turned from her at that point. I guess I had a sense she noticed. I thought she might say something, or ask me about the class....but she just looked at me with a blank expression as if she was trying to decipher who I was and walked away. I felt so awkward. The worst part is that before this I had opened up to her about social anxiety, as she works in counseling, and she was nice. She was understanding. I just didn't want a morning class when I knew all of my energy had to go into the 2 ( 3 hour courses I was studying for). I guess what I'm really worried about, as dumb as it sounds, is what she thinks of me. She may not know it's me. She's the second person to just stop and stare at me for long durations of time today. Ok let's look at it from my perspective when it comes to how I approach dating women. The thing I care most about is the relationship, the "love". Very cheesy I know.
