My friends parents are getting divorced after being married for 20 years. My parents divorced when I was 10, so I understand how hard it is. My friend confided in me about 9 months ago that his dad had been cheating for a while, and was now staying at his brothers house. He hadn't been home since he left. Everyone in the house (their mom, my friend, his little brother) had been begging him to come home...but he just filed for divorce a few days ago. My friends mom is one of the best people I know, she's really fun, kind, and basically a second mom to me. How can I be supportive of my friend, his mom & little brother during this time?

My wife has resentment towards our daughter since she was born because our daughter was a "accident" and because it affected our marriage and our personal lives my wife has grown a lot angrier and more resentful. My good friend just turned 21 a month ago shes depressed and has pretty low self esteem. She's an attractive girl, the cute nerdy type. She's got some serious mental health issues and is unbalanced but again shes very attractive. She recently started dating a 40 year old co-worker that seems to be kind of strange. Of course hes buying her jewelry, telling her shes gorgeous, hes already taken her on 2 nice vacations and is doing the whole wining and dining thing. most guys her age have a hard time dating her because of her pessimistic depressed attitude. she thinks she hit the jackpot because he pays attention to her, tells her shes pretty and spoils her but I can tell hes taking advantage. I tried talking to her mom and dad who are in their late 50s and they said they're happy for her and dont plan to intervene and theyre glad hes getting her out and bringing her on trips because shes happy now. I dont know how they dont see the game hes playing...

My father & I are not speaking mainly because I am evicting him from my home. Sounds weird evicting a parent but my mom died @ 13 & left me the home she owned, but my dad took custody of me & we moved in to the home. They were divorced for over 10 yrs after her passing so he owns nothing. Over the years I've dealt with things I knew weren't right that my dad did, like a few weeks after she died , my dad had women & their children into my MOTHERS home, and he would lie about the house as if he owned it, trying to portray himself as a baller to women & others around him, he was very controlling as well. He left the home to live with a young gf and came back mad after their breakup. I was living home by myself (btw I'm 22) When he came back, he demanded that my bf pays $200 worth of bills when he was just coming by me and sleeping occasionally. Mind you, my dad paying bills at home, his gf's bill, on top of trying to be a baller to others. From there, my father & my bf argued which lead to my dad putting a restraining order on him (to stop him from visiting me at home, smart), took my pets to the shelter, took my room door of the henges, turned off my phone services, turned off the water line to the washer and many more things. To sum it up, he's getting evicted .. but I feel bad for some reason. I've dealt with a lot from him & it's like he's punishing me for his issues w/ my bf. I'm 22 yrs old & I don't want to deal with this, so he has to go. But why do I feel bad? Advice?

This means if you stop for any reason he can divorce you and you get nothing. he is super rich and my family will never want for anything but I don't really like doing it.

My boyfriend is over 9 thousand in the hole in back child support. What can he do? He was UNAWARE. He didn't get his final divorce papers mailed to him until may 28 18, and in the paper work it said he was ordered to start making monthly child support on July 31, 17. His ex told him that was wrong and he did not owe any back child support and to start making payments on July 31, 18. Which he did. Now we come to find out he owes way more. I guess our first mistake was believing the ex, but there has to be something we can do?

My step sons girlfriend texts my husband everyday sometimes multiple times a day. I have told him I do not feel comfortable with this. I feel if there is something that needs to be said to my husband his son can text him about it. I have two sons in law and I have never gotten one single text from either one. My daughters text me about anything going on in their lives. Am I over reacting or should my husband honor my feelings about this and tell her to stop?

I run my own company and drive a truck. I usually work from morning till around 6 pm. I pay for all the bills and everything she wants. But now after 3 years she wants to get a job that starts at 5pm. I find it inconvenient because after a hard day of work I have to get home then switch cars to go pick up the kids and I know the kids would rather be at home than going to the babysitter. Some boys who have tried hitting on me at school have been complete losers! They guilt tripped me for rejecting them, insulted me many times for no reason at all, started getting jealous over minor things even when I was not their girlfriend (if I laughed at another guy's joke, if I high fived another guy), suggested about sex before speaking one real sentence to me, etc. Wtf?

My dad got hooked to hydrocodone and became a junkie so my mom divorced him. I grew up with a mean stepdad I felt a huge void in my life growing up into my 20s but I got a good job at Alcon. I also saw that millennials In general today are actually having less sex also in addition to that. People today are having a lot less sex than in 1997. What is wrong with men in this society? Are more and more of them becoming gay? Or do they have Peter Pan syndrome?
