Posted: 17 Jul 2018 05:56 PM PDT A group of us friends decided to go to the fireworks and well my beat friend and I were sitting on a blanket together and we caught one another off guard and started kissing. Our friends tried to break us up but we kept on kissing. He's terrific and just so relaxed when he kissed me. Do you find it wrong to kiss your best friend of the opposite sex? I don't mean married couples but best friends of opposite genders. |
Question: Do I have anger issues? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 05:54 PM PDT My ex friend let me borrow his book and I still have it and I ripped it up to shreds |
Question: Do you think she is lying to me ? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 04:58 PM PDT My online friend didn't know what state I was from as I haven't told her. She kept insisting I tell her as she said her dad wanted to know for college purposes. I think she is lying. |
Question: Is I ok not to like Somi because she is a mix (half white)? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 04:39 PM PDT She doesn't seem to belong and seeing her perform sends cringes up my spine. |
Question: How do I politely decline an offer to hang out without leaving the offer open? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 04:23 PM PDT There s this guy who s in my circle of friends who asks me to hang out occasionally. He s not a bad guy, actually a very sweet person, but for some reason his personality and his quirks will get on my nerves like nothing else. I tend to get annoyed and snippy when I hang around him, and I think the best way to keep me from acting like a total asshole to this guy (who doesn t deserve it) is to just avoid as much one-on-one contact with him as possible. How do I reject his offers to hang out without leaving it open for hanging out another time? I don t want to say something like, "I d love to, maybe another time," or "I m busy right now, maybe later," because he will definitely either ask for a "time that works for me", or continue to ask to hang out again and again. And I can t use those excuses forever without blatantly lying. |
Posted: 17 Jul 2018 04:03 PM PDT If so if they ever approached you did you deny it or told the truth? When you found out a friend/relative talked about you behind you behind your back how did that make you feel? Were you still friends? Did you still talk to the relative? If someone ever lied on you and said you talked about someone, how do you prove that you really didn't say anything? Thanks for your answer |
Question: Is it wrong for me to expect my friends to make time for me? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 03:48 PM PDT Last year I had the worst year ever, I was diagnosed with cancer and my boyfriend broke up with me. I had to get a BMT and spend a few months recovering. I am finally feeling better and I have been wanting to catch up with my friends. I am planning a trip to where I was living and most of my friends are excited and tell me when they are available except for one person. We were pretty close but over the past few months she barely replies to my texts or calls. I understand people are busy but if in town, and giving you a months notice I take it as you don't want to see me. I was pretty honest about how I felt and her response was that I am manipulative. It's pretty simple, when people are busy for months I think its time to move on. I don't want to be friends with someone doesn't make time for me. Is this wrong of me to believe? What is the point of having friendship like this? |
Question: Does friends with benefits really work? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 03:36 PM PDT I told this guy I really like him as a friend and that I didn't want to ruin our friendship with sex. And this is what he said but people always say sex ruins friendships. Me:Well, I really like you as a friend that's why I bought you a present for your birthday and I don't want sex to ruin it. Him:Sex will only ruin it if you want something more that I'm not willing to give. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. That's what I do. **I was the one who mentioned sex to him. I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits. He never said anything to me about sex until I asked him. Before I ever asked him about having sex he had asked me to hangout.** |
Question: How to get a borrowed item back? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 02:09 PM PDT This may sound like a dumb question, but I honestly don't know what to do. I have two friends that have both borrowed things from me (one was my favorite book, the other was a large sum of money) and neither of them seem like they plan on giving my stuff back. I've asked both of them several times, and the person with the book keeps saying he'll give it back (has been for months) and the other one, who borrowed the money several months ago because she didn't have her wallet with her, just won't pay me back. I know she has the money for it, I've seen her shop and she seems to have infinite money, but every time I ask she "doesn't have it yet." At this point I've asked so many times I'm afraid I'm annoying THEM! What do I do?? |
Question: How come my friend got so offended when someone said this to her? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 02:07 PM PDT So my friend is Asian background but born and raised in California. But we were travelling in Italy and some Italians asked where we are from. And she said "California" but then they asked her "where are you really from?" And then they said she "doesn't look Californian." She immediately became mad after they said this and was like how should a California girl look like. Now I am a white girl myself who is also from California but they believed me when I said I was from California. |
Question: Should I tell my parents that I'm meeting my online friend? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 01:51 PM PDT I'm meeting an online friend in New York next April and I don't know how to approach my parents about it. So far, I'm planning not to tell them that I'm meeting up with someone; I plan to simply tell them that I'm staying in New York for 2 weeks alone. The reason why I am reluctant to tell them is that they will most likely not allow me to meet him. I think I should tell my parents for safety reasons, but only to let them know. I don't think that I need their permission because I am 19 and will be turning 20 a month after I meet him. Plus, I think it wouldn't make sense for them not to allow me because I am moving abroad 5 months after this trip. I want to become a bit more independent since I have been unhealthily attached to them. |
Question: I'm so bored all the time! What can I do to keep myself occupied? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 01:43 PM PDT I'm a 20 year old male. I have no friends and no life. I just sit on my couch all day on my laptop. I try to go outside to sit on my porch, but that's boring. Going for a walk in my neighborhood isn't much fun to me. I'm tired of sitting in the house all day everyday not doing anything. What can I do to keep myself busy? |
Question: Why would he tell my friend i looked gay? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 01:25 PM PDT Today i walked in class and sat beside my best friend. And we talked for about five minutes and i told her i was planning a birthday party for myself soon. I got up and eventually moved to another seat, So after school she told me the guy that was behind her today said "the way your friend was looking at you i think she wanted you, she looked like she was gay" |
Question: I want to help others and be a good person!! Help!? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 12:55 PM PDT Hi! I m a girl and I m going to be a sophomore in highschool and I feel like I ve wasted so much of my life just sitting around on my phone and doing nothing. I m not a bad person, ofcourse there s things I can improve on about myself but I try to be kind to others and help people. I helped a lot of my friends and they are always so thankful and really enjoy how understanding I am. I want to do something good for my community and peers. I want to become a better person. Is there any advice you could give me or anything like clubs, church groups (I m catholic), or just deeds I can do to not only help someone else out and make them feel good, but that will help me become a well wounded person and make me feel good about doing it. Thankyou! |
Question: Am I at fault with this girl? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 12:20 PM PDT So this girl and I have been talking for 7 months now. We hooked up and messed around. She went away for 2 months to study abroad. We still kept in touch. when she got back we got lunch and ended up catching up and talking for like 4 hours. She even got me 2 gifts from when she went away. She told me we should go out Monday night for dinner and to a bar afte, since she's working a lot this summer. She knew I went to visit my friend on Saturday and I got back late Sunday. She didn't even text me to confirm or to ask how my trip was... she just viewed my snapchat story. So When I got back late Sunday night I didn't even bother to text her. I didn't hear from her yesterday or today so far |

Question: My guy friend got the impression that I liked him? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 11:12 AM PDT So, a couple weeks ago I sent my guy friend a text to let him know I really appreciated him. However, I think he took my phrasing to mean that I liked him and he was distant for a week (avoiding me) until I confronted him saying "I sent you a thank you text and you've been distant. What's going on?" He responded saying that he just felt really awkward that week. Now, he's back to semi-normal, but there's still a wall. Before the 'us being friends thing' was never said, but was implied whenever we hang out. Now, he uses the word 'friend' whenever he gets a chance and talks about other girls when that wasn't a topic we brought up in our friendship before. Is he still thinking that I like him? I believe I made it obvious that I only think of him as a friend as well, but he's still acting weird. Any guys' thoughts on this? How do I give the impression that I don't like him without pushing him away as a friend? |

Question: How to write a letter to my friend? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 10:48 AM PDT I am writing this letter because a friend needs one for her dependency override. Her school is asking about her situation with her parents and I don't know how to write it. Like, what do I say in the letter about her situation? Can someone help and give me an example or something? Thanks in advance!! :) |
Posted: 17 Jul 2018 09:32 AM PDT because they are very very busy in studying for some exams they soon are going to give. I said thats alright. And, the next day, one of them made up a story instagram they were hanging out. Besides, i asked them to hang out because very soon i would go to my countryhouse for summer holiday. I got upset when i saw that instagram story. They are good girls actually, especially the one of them. Inviting me to parties, etc Should i worry about them being fake friends? |

Question: Should I move to a new city? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 07:44 AM PDT Hi! I'm 25 and kind of moving through a "quarter life crisis". The contract for my job is ending in the city I currently live in (let's call it city A) and I don't feel like extending it. I feel like I deserve a better and more interesting workplace. In the 'A' city there are not many interesting opportunities. The main reason I chose this city is because it is close to my hometown (and still has more potential than it, which is in a very bad position) so this way I can see my parents more often (usually on a weekly basis). I have some "long term" friends in city 'A' , but it is kind of a boring town and I don't see much opportunity to expand. I don't feel like I want to grow old here. I'd be very disappointed with myself. When it comes to work there are much better opportunities nearby in cities that are more fun and lively but I'd lose all my current friends and I would not be able to see my parents as often. I fear that I would not be able to gather new friends in the "new city". Are my fears unfounded? What do you think I should do? Thanks! |
Question: Am I being a bad friend? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:51 AM PDT I'm a 16 yrs old girl and my best friend is a 18 yrs old guy. I've known him since kindergarten and our friendship is very, very strong and he's always there for me when I need him and in the past few years, as a teen, I've been going into a lot of trouble but whenever I'm in trouble he's there to help me out. Few days ago some random girl from my school (who apparently was jealous cuz she liked my best friend) told me that I'm "using" him, and he is more of a body guard to me. And that I'm being independent cause I'm asking for his help all the time and that he must have had enough with all the drama I get caught up in. I didn't realize it at first but when I thought about it, I think she's right. Now I feel like he hates me. I'm too scared of losing him cause I love him so much (as a friend only) but I feel like I'm toxic, he gets into a lot of trouble just for me. I feel like I'm a poison to him and he would probably be better off without me and my drama but I hate the thought of him leaving. |
Question: Why does she smile at me when I'm nervous? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 01:41 AM PDT I hang out with this older woman friend that I sort of like. She's 49, and I'm 24. We like hanging out with each other a lot. We shop, eat, and play together at arcades. She said I'm a better listener and companion than her ex ever was. I try to make her laugh by dressing up in clothes that don't fit me and looking ridiculous or sometimes, my clumsiness will make her laugh. She made me blush one time when she grabbed my hand and held it tightly. She smiled and giggled a lot knowing that I was flustered. She smiles a lot when I stutter so much and blush. She said she knows I get nervous a lot and knows I get embarrassed. |
Question: How to be socially open? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 12:25 AM PDT I'm not a socially awkward person, but I am going to meet my parents friends family and I really want to just be social and get to know them. I do have social skills, but I'm still working on starting convos with people I don't even know/have no relation to. What can I ask? (We're teens) |
Question: My best friends parents hate me? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 12:23 AM PDT So my best friend parents aren't fans of me already and now they hate me for sure. Tonight we hung out and things got all mixed up and our plans were all over the place, and her parents are super strict so they need to know where she is every second. Both our parents are mad at us because we lied about where we were. My parents aren't as strict as hers but they were still very mad about the lying. I already had one slip up with them which wasn't that big at all, but adding that to this makes it so much worse. Her parents drove us home and when getting out the car and saying thank you, they ignored me. They shook their heads at me and my parents. They think i'm a bad influence and that i'm no good for her, and I can't tell anyone how much this girl means to me. I would literally stand in front of a bullet for her at any given time and this was an unintentional mistake that i think cost us our friendship. I don't want her to get mad at me because we both lied, and she means too much to me. I don't know if this will improve over time but I just want her parents likeness back. Please help. I don't think we'll be hanging out anytime soon |
Question: Friend constantly tells me I am not invited to her wedding. Proper etiquette? Posted: 16 Jul 2018 10:28 PM PDT A girl I went to highschool with is getting married early next year. She has always been "out there" and invited herself to my 2nd wedding a decade ago and appointed herself bridesmaid without being asked. I was polite and allowed it since nobody else would participate. She talks about her upcoming wedding a lot and always says "you are not being invited just putting that out there" or she will mention where she is registered for gifts and when I mention what all do you need she says "dont buy me anything, its not like you are being invited anyway we don't have the space we are having 150 people". I understand she has free will and she can do as she pleases regarding her wedding. But I can't help but feel she is being a childish brat by constantly saying this. My relative told me this is not a true friend and at being in our mid 30s this is asinine behavior and to cut off the friendship stat. What should I do? She has also unfriend me on social media and ghosted me several times for no reason and when she mentions how I am not invited its always "dont take it personally its nothing personal". |
Question: My question is, Why do females keep putting me on a friend, cousin or brother list ? Posted: 16 Jul 2018 09:56 PM PDT I try to romance them, I work, I get money, I'm a good person. Unless someone pushes me to be an asshole to them. I can be a great Father. I'm fun, adventuress, try new things, open to new things. I'm a protector, provider and caring person. I am not perfect. I knw this. It feels like, I dnt belong in this World. Can someone help, please? |

Question: Why am i so afraid of my friends making other friends? Posted: 16 Jul 2018 08:16 PM PDT Most of my friends in college are joining sororities and for some reason that terrifies me. I think its because im worried they will have less time or no time to hang out with me and will make new friends and forget about me. Ive almost always been afraid of my friends making new friends and it causes me to act in a negative and confusing way (like how a jealous person would act). For example, i'll point out all of the new friends' flaws to make my friend not want to be their friend anymore. I know this is wrong and i really want to stop feeling this way but i dont know how! Any advice?? |

We are only friends but should we not talk anymore since there's an age gap? When I'm 20 she'll be 17 . We are both girls btw we became friends because we have loads in common thanks |

Question: Do you think that my cousin is being a fake friend to me? Posted: 16 Jul 2018 06:06 PM PDT I genuinely love my cousin but sometimes I feel as though she's being fake and inauthentic when we spend time together. Im always happy to listen intently to her problems and try to give her advice and input when she is struggling through something. But when I try to talk to her about what I'm going through, she's very dismissive about it, telling me that I'll be fine and then quickly going back to talking about herself. I'm 17 and she's 21, but I feel like she talks down to me as if I'm a child who doesn't know left from right. Other times, she's just totally unpresent when I'm with her. I'll be talking to her about something for a minute and I see that she's on her phone or doing something else. She'll acknowledge me 10 seconds later and give a fake chuckle and say 'really?' I love her but no one else who I consider a 'friend' treats me like this. I mean she takes me out places and spends money on me but her actions really hurt sometimes. Should I spend some time away from her? |
