Question: I am going to file a divorce. My concern is my house? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 09:59 PM PDT I am going to file a divorce. Question: Should I deal with or be intimate with this guy? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 09:53 PM PDT I met this guy through a friend then months ago we started talking on social media. Found out he is married. He is a African and married to this American white women. He tells me even though he lives with her that he is married to her so they he can get a special type of work visa so he can get better jobs. He has tried to be intimate with me multiple times even going so far as to show me texts where his wife kicked him out claiming they are not married no more, but he could have not possibly been unmarried so soon. They are just going thru issues now. He tried to be intimate with me under the premise he only married her to get a work visa and its not real. It just sounds messy. He tried to have sex with me while my period was on. |
Question: Advice please on discovery of my dad cheating on my mom? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 09:51 PM PDT I'm a high school student and my mom is disabled so my dad is the main provider for money in the family. I've suspected that he has been cheating on my mother for a while now. Today I looked in his phone and found proof. (I should not have done it) I'm worried about divorce if my mom and dad divorce she will be left with no help as I leave for college next year and won't have the financial ability to take care of her. But I think my dad might be planning on divorcing when I turn 18. I don't know what to do? My dad lost his job about two months ago and moneys been tight. I have a job and he has access to my bank account due to me having to have a guardian on my account. Should I take my money out the bank? I'm just super confused and need advice please |
Question: Am I entitled to bah? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 08:57 PM PDT I am married to an active duty soldier. I am currently unemployed (im looking). My husband refuses to give me any bah saying a roof over my head and food is payment enough. I know seperation and divorces are entitled to some bah. But we are living together and not divorcing. Am I entitled to any amount of BAH that he cant refuse to pay me? (Im just asking cause i heard i am but I m fine if not. I am looking for a job and not complaining. Just curious) |
Question: Separated from wife for a month.? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 08:34 PM PDT Me and my wife have been separated now for a month after 4 years of marriage and we have a 17 month old together. We went out to dinner today and talked about our future. She told me what her main concerns were. That we have nothing in common as far as hobbies and interests go. She also that she doesn't think we can love each other like we use to. She said she didn't want a divorce that's not what she wanted but if it happens and we don't get back together then I think she's okay with it. How do you fall in love again after the spark is gone? We were going to give it a few more months and see how we feel without each other. |
Question: Why is my husband acting so insecure/ territorial toward my relationship with our kids? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 07:31 PM PDT I'm currently a stay at home mom, with two toddlers and another baby on the way. My husband begins work extremely early in the morning and gets home mid-afternoon. He's usually tapped out and ready for bed by 7 pm since he has to wake up in the wee hours of the morning. I'm in school, but took this semester off to have the baby. During this time, the kids have become very close to me, which is only natural since I'm with them most of the day. When my husband comes home, he says he wants to take over since he doesn't get to be with them like I do. I completely understand and give him his time. However, he takes it a little overboard. For ex.,he doesn't like it when I tell them, "tell Daddy goodnight!" He says, "You feel you have to remind them to tell me goodnight??" I only do it so they can know their dad is going to sleep and needs peace and quiet. I see it as endearing, he sees it as me being controlling (I'm guessing??). He wants me to stay completely silent while he corrects them. I dare not say "Daddy's right," etc. Sometimes they say "I want mommy!" and he gets upset with them and sometimes raises his voice at them. I feel he has deeper issues that I can't reach. I've told him that this isn't a competition, and that I love it when they're with him. No matter what I say or do, he gets offended. Tonight he even dodged my kiss send offered his cheek instead because I forgot and told the kids to tell him goodnight. How should I keep from getting annoyed by his behavior? |
Question: She’s going threw a divorce and is taking it out on me should I give her space? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 07:11 PM PDT Hi, I'm 21 and I live on my own, I have a 37 year old girlfriend who I moved in me and have been living with me for 5 months now she's currently starting her divorce because her ex husband took the first step in the process of filing for divorce, now my question is if I should give her space and ask her to move out because we've been arguing a lot because she doesn't communicate with me and when I voice my opinion it's almost like she can care less and still do what she wants and I feel like a big part of that is because she may think I'm young and foolish and it upsets me and really hurts me, she doesn't open up to me about any problems and she doesn't contribute to any bills, so therefor idk what she does with her money other than a portion of it goes to paying the mortgage for her husband and I'm getting sick of it, so please if you have any advice I'd appreciate it thank you |
Question: Who is first, second wife or his kids.? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 04:57 PM PDT Husband is 18 years older than I am. First wife died. His kids are my age. He defers to his kids on everything. I am yesterday's mashed potatoes. He takes their side on every disagreement and says that I am a troublemaker. They are independent and successful. Is this normal in a second wife situation? |

Question: Who should be first, second wife of his children.? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 04:43 PM PDT My husband whose first wife died is ultimately loyal to his kids. He will take their side on everything, even though others are aghast at his reaction. Is the second wife supposed to be yesterday's mashed potatoes or should I count as a wife, too? I guess in a nutshell, who comes first - second wife or kids. |

Question: Why does my husband treat me like he owns me? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 10:32 AM PDT I have been married for 9 years. I don t work he does. I drive him to work every day and pick him up. He gets mad if I don t text him when I get home. If I don t wait for him to call me once at 9:30 than at lunch and than at last break he gets mad and yells at me. I spent the day with my dad and daughters and told him he had to drive. He got so upset with me he said he got lost coming home that day. He told me it was all my fault. I am reminding our home and we was working on the ceiling. He looked at me and told me to tell him thank you for helping me with your house. I was getting dressed and he looked at me and told me my breast were sagging. I have lost 40 lbs and have 3 kids. We have nothing in our names together. So I can t leave him or it will hurt my father. Everything is in my dad s and my name. I love my husband but I m falling out of love with him |
Question: My boyfriend is too sleep deprived and it’s affecting our relationship? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 10:19 AM PDT He works construction. He wakes up at 4, starts work at 5 and works until 1:30, sometimes as late as 3:30. Then he goes to the gym. I work in an office so I have the standard 8-5. He's normally tired which I get but lately it's been out of control. I went over his place the other night and we were watching a movie and he fell asleep like out cold, couldn't wake him up. So I left and said like hey you shouldn't have had me come over if you were going to be that tired. It just puts me in awkward spot. Last night, I went over and we'd just got done having sex. He was standing and it looked like he was going to pass out so I told him to just lay down and he goes no I'm fine. He laid down and I said I should leave because you're going to fall asleep. He says, "No I'm good." Within two minutes, he fell asleep again. He really has a problem. I've seen him drop things because he's tired, I've seen him fall asleep sitting up. He takes melatonin but in general, I think he likes to stay up. He'll stay up later than me even though I wake up hours after him. I don't know what to do because I like him and care about him and understand that he's tired but it also gets annoying because I don't want to make plans with him if he's going to be so exhausted. |
Question: Should I have to tell ex-wife EVERY DAY where our daughter and I sleep? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 09:13 AM PDT We are divorcing. We have 50/50 custody. I have my daughter every other week. I have told my soon to be ex-wife that our daughter (2 years old) and I will be staying at either my house, or my parents house (which is 45 minutes away). She contacts me via cell phone, and she also has my parents phone numbers and address. We only stay at one of the two places. I told her I would let her know if we stay anywhere besides my house or my parents house, but she insists on checking on me daily to see where we are sleeping. It's not good enough if I tell her we are at both my parents house and my house for the week, and that we are staying at my house towards the end of the week. I get harassed all day / everyday about it. It seems excessive and feels like she is micro-managing me. Is this okay? Do I have to report to her every single day? Is there anything I can do? what would you do? |
Question: Why is my sister still married and stays with a guy who cheats on her? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 06:55 AM PDT they been married for 5 years. they gotten married since their early 20s. they have 3 kids and another one on the way. He seems to be a bread winner. I know last year she caught him cheating with another woman at the other woman home. They argue. she tells him to grow up. they been separated for a minute and I guess he sweet talk her. They keep putting they business on facebook. Anyways she was like when a person really loves you, they'll fight to take you back.I guess she was refering to him fighting for her forgiveness but how is that when he currently cheating on her again with a new woman and doing the same ****?? she made a fb post after they got back together last year saying "life is to short for lies, cheating, and games. move on and be happy." But he still cheats on her and if I tell her, she not going to believe me. I don't want her to stress out because she's pregnant right now. He have a job that he travels out of town for months. |
Posted: 30 Jul 2018 06:47 AM PDT I'm going to guess my options are divorce, go without sex, do all the work, or be a douchebag and get a side chick. Do I really have any other options? She's had her hormones checked and she's perfectly fine according to her primary care doctor, she starting to see an OBGYN but they haven't started testing her yet because they wanted to put her on birth control first to see if that would help. But every ounce of energy that she has she puts into her electronics instead of me. And it's not like I'm the authority figure over her so I can't ground her from her Electronics like you would a child, so there's not much I can really do without being an authoritarian or abuser. And obviously I'm not either of those things so I'm in the situation asking this question. She's never really had a drive and it was always my job to get her going, but she would at least dress up and do her part to look attractive. Now all she does is wear pajama pants and a t-shirt. Which is better than previous years because she used to wear my t-shirts and pajama pants so at least she has some shape to her now. She's never been a girly girl kind of girl either, I would say that on the spectrum of tomboy to girly girl she's definitely more on the Tomboy side. Which sucks because I'm attracted to girly girls which she did when we first met and before marriage. But now she's too lazy and stuck in her comfort zone to do it. Anyways one of my options at this point? Is it only the four I mentioned up top? |
Posted: 30 Jul 2018 06:41 AM PDT My wife grew up extremely poor. Because of this she does not like to give up things that she purchased over the years. Books, dolls, children's toys, board games, furniture, papers that could possibly be important in a few years but likely not, keepsakes from trips we go on, stuff that she can use the Scrapbook, yarn and other crafting tools, paintings that she does during paint and pours, and just about anything that she can get her hands on she will hoard and keep forever. I'm pretty sure that this is all because she had nothing as a little girl and she doesn't want to give things up since giving things up is a loss not a gain to her. But the house is cluttered with a bunch of stuff now and it's driving me insane because I'm used to a house that has a home for everything and that's just not how it is. Her idea is just to buy a bunch of storage bins and put it all in bins so no one has to look at it but that's not the solution. Because we haven't been able to agree on the correct way to deal with this, I have allowed her to get her way but it's beyond the point of sanity. And in the past when I started throwing things away she would yell at me. So what is the best way to deal with someone with this kind of OCD? Also if I have to do all the work to clean this up and make the house look manageable then would it be unfair for me to tell her that I expect some form of compensation for all of my extra work because of her mental disorder that she refuses to go get help on? |
Posted: 30 Jul 2018 03:51 AM PDT Several weeks ago I posted about my husband's daughter's mom who is now doing drugs and how he wanted to try and help get her clean. I still question his motives but I'll move on. I know he met with her once since then but I've net heard anything in a while. He is working with his sister who is a social worker about trying to get his daughter's mom to sign over temporary guardianship to her oldest daughter for the sake of the younger kids. Well, this past Sat. my husband work up and was going to go into work for a few hours and get some O.T. But before he left he was talking about making some egg rolls later and he needed to run to the store to get a few things. He left for the store and then I realized I hadn't heard what was going on with his daughter's mom in a while so I sent him this text. "You went to the store or to meet with (insert name)?" When he saw the text he became livid. Granted, when he walked back in the house he had groceries and was only gone about 30 minutes but I just wanted to know. He said that my text came across as an accusation instead of a question. We were at dinner the night before and he said I could have asked then instead of waiting until he left the house and sending a text. My husband feels that I need to know everything the minute it happens. He said there are some things I don't need to know right off the bat. If my husband knows something and he doesn't tell me then I feel like it's a secret and I'm not suppose to know. He thinks that his daughter's mom's situation isn't any of my business so he doesn't have to just come out and tell me things. My husband has a master's in counseling and feels he can help but why him? Isn't he a little too close to the situation to be an effective helper? Was I wrong to ask? |

Question: Why do we even try. Isn’t it time we just sacked of love and monogamy? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 12:57 AM PDT People aren't designed for this kind of life, we weren't made to be one on one for all our lives. Yet we force feed ourselves all this c..p and then you even start believing it yourself and as soon as you do and feel relaxed, they f..k you I've again 😞. I just don't get it anymore. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of it but I honestly don't believe that it truly exists.. full of happiness and loyalty. I think some people settle and put up with the others c..p just for the false security that comes with it. Here I am again. Married to a boy I thought was above the bar.. and he really is no different. I feel betrayed from lies and I'm sick to death of thinking someone out there can be as honest as I am. Now what do I do... carry on with this boy, who pretends to be perfect and just keeps letting me down with his lies and weakness, for the sake of my kids.. or just accept that fairytales really don't exist and if you truly don't want to be betrayed, just don't put your trust in someone.what do you do... this wasn't even about another girl it was amount a substantial amount of debt I now have thanks to his In ability to communicate with me. A debt that's probably cost me the future I wanted. I'm just so, so sick of the lies and trusting someone |
Posted: 30 Jul 2018 12:07 AM PDT So I really love my fiance'. But I started talking to him about our wedding and invitations and he quickly said he would prefer to not have any of his friends or family at our wedding. Whenever i talk about his friends or family he said he quickly says "They're okay" and changes the subject. Should I be concerned about this? He's only been interested in me |
Question: Dwindling sex life with husband? Posted: 29 Jul 2018 11:43 PM PDT I love my husband and I know he loves me. I am a good looking woman, I find that he brags about me. He makes me feel good about myself physically and never puts my looks down. I recently had my birth control taken out because I was going crazy, our sex life was amazing up until I had it taken out.. he has always watched porn, but I noticed now the past 2 weeks he has been unable to get a full erection, But HE still initiates sex. I am just thinking WHY are you trying to have sex with me when you're not even hard? I try to suck him off and I used to be able to get him hard, now I cant. I find myself not even wanting sex to avoid the issue entirely. I feel insecure and wonder what's wrong with me?.. I said I was too tired for sex tonight and he was very offended and asked if I wanted a divorce!?! I said this is the FIRST time in your life I ever turned you down? I am so confused. Is it me? My birth control being out? Is he cheating? I'm so lost. |
Question: Whats the issue if a man slaps his wife? Posted: 29 Jul 2018 11:33 AM PDT I slapped my wife a few times when she refused or ignored to do as i say; placing food items in particular order, be neat, and most of all talk to her parents to come over and act as civilized people - they granted her hand cause she asked them to. I was only married to this crazy B for 2 months and she ran away. I've no doubt that im entitled to her since i busted my hump to furnish the house and pay my dues so we'd own the house we live in. Her parents ignore my calls since she left ( 2 months now ) and she barely answers my calls, meanwhile i noticed that she has become very arrogant and disrespectful in speech; plus her phone is busy all night. When i told her that all this time has gone by and we were nowhere on reaching a solution ( not even meeting for coffee ) plus her phone is busy all night; she changed number. On our last call i told her to send me a screenshot of her call registry and send me her exact location cause im not sure anymore she is with her parents. I filed a police report and court hearing due next week; somehow her parents are flabbergasted that i did such a thing and that i certainly want a divorce. It seems to me that from day one she wanted to divorce;;thats why i lost my calm with her during our brief 2 month marriage. Of course she blames it all on me slapping her etc. But ive no doubt she is seeing someone or had someone behind the scene. She went as far as contacting my father and sister and telling them i bullied her. |
