Question: Can I gift my female friend a teddy bear? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 06:08 PM PDT My female friend is a fitness coach who I'm close to. I wanted to give her a custom bear that looks like a coach and is wearing fitness attire. She has a boyfriend as well and I don't want to cross the line. Is this gift for a friend appropriate? |

Is that ok for us to talk almost every day to each other? We have went days without talking before because she is busy but she said she still likes to hear from me and she texts me first too just like I text her first sometimes |
Question: I was molested by another girl? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 04:15 PM PDT Me and my this girl used to have sleepovers when we were both little and i remember i woke up onetime in my bed touching me i asked what she was doing and she said nothing and kept going i told her to stop but she kept talking about how it'll help me and stuff, another time i went to her house and she did it again. she kept taking advantage of me because she was older telling me things making me think it was fine and everything it wasn't until months back i realized what it was and ever since then i just feel so dirty and gross i don't know how to deal with this because i don't want to tell anyone because im scared they'll look at me different. i mean i told my only friend what happened but she didn't really help me at all and it didnt seem as she'd care. i'm losing my mind over this i can't stop thinking about it and i don't know what to do. Please...help! |
Question: How to stop being so straight up and how to stop gossiping how to keep things to urslf? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 03:47 PM PDT I have a problem I'm too honest and always speak my mind it offends a lot of people how can I learn to not say anything |
Question: Does friends with benefits really work? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 02:45 PM PDT I told this guy I really like him as a friend and that I didn't want to ruin our friendship with sex. And this is what he said but people always say sex ruins friendships. Me:Well, I really like you as a friend that's why I bought you a present for your birthday and I don't want sex to ruin it. Him:Sex will only ruin it if you want something more that I'm not willing to give. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. That's what I do. **I was the one who mentioned sex to him. I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits. He never said anything to me about sex until I asked him. Before I ever asked him about having sex he had asked me to hangout.** |
Question: What should I do? I think I'm falling in love with him.? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 02:26 PM PDT I was in the shower and my best friend asked me if he could join me since we are living together and sharing a bathroom. I've seen him naked before and it didn't bother me. He got in and whispered I guess gym class needed a unisex shower. We both giggled and then caught each other's eyes. I looked away and he said maybe we should kiss and get over the elephant being in the room. I looked at him and said that's not what I had in mind. He finished soaping and rinsing off and got out. He put a towel around him and walked into the spare bedroom. I got dressed and walked in while he was checking or texting whoever so I walked over and sat on the bed. He sat his phone down and said you're the most beautiful girl I ever had my eyes on. I leaned down and we kissed for a few minutes until he whispered Stay in bed with me tonight? We ran our fingers together, cuddled and kissed but then I wanted to go further. I respected his boundaries but then we had already crossed the kissing boundary for sure. We played with each other and then we snuggled up and kissed one another goodnight. |
Question: What would you think if your friend cried like this? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 01:30 PM PDT He always acts cocky and kind of tough. We were at a party and he started talking **** to some guys as we were leaving then as we were walking to the car he got jumped to the ground and the punched a couple times by one of them, then the guy ran off. Some other friends found the kid inside and he didn't even take part in the revenge, just watched as our friends beat the kid up, and then lied to everyone the following days how he basically won. Anyway in the car ten minutes or so after it was over he was like "I shouldn't have been knocked down in front of you guys" (Me and his friend) and I could tell he was getting emotional. Then in a crackled voice said "it hurts" referring to the minor scrapes he had and then started started crying. What do you think? He seemed so ashamed that he was crying I could tell he was trying so hard to hold it in, and then cover it up when he started and I was shocked and like "are you crying?" and he wouldn't answer or look at me in the back seat so I couldn't tell, but then he just burst into tears loudly and couldn't stop or even speak for a good 10 minutes and then brushed it off like nothing happened. he's 22, btw |

Question: Should I switch to online school or stay in regular school?? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 10:54 AM PDT I am 16 and going into junior year of high school. I've been wanting to do online school for many years and my parents have finally agreed. I don't have many friends but I feel really bad about leaving my best friend behind because he always hated it when I missed a day of school because we eat lunch with a group of friends but we're separate from them and don't really talk to them so he's always alone if I'm not there. He has lots of friends though and I know he'll be ok and find a new group to sit and hang out with but I still feel awful. Of course now that it's summer I keep telling myself I should just do regular school but I have to think about the future for me. I've had depression for around 4 years and school just makes it so much worse. I was more depressed than I've ever been before this year and if it got worse next year, I don't know what I'd do and there's a chance I'd hurt myself and others in the process. Also, I get extremely stressed about presentations and it is so overwhelming for me I'm not sure I could handle it. I will be driving soon so I won't be trapped in the house all day and if I chose online school, I will start being a nanny for my mom's friend who is pregnant now. Also, I will be able to live with family in my home town for awhile. I still feel so bad about doing online school but I think it's what I need. What do you think? |
Posted: 18 Jul 2018 10:40 AM PDT I bought a straight talk phone a couple years ago from my friend. And for some reason it kept auto refilling by itself. I texted my friend I bought it from and told her it was auto refilling and that she should take off the auto refill so she isn't paying for it. She never responded back to me. A year later I got a message from another friend and she told me that my phone had been auto refilling from her account. (The friend I bought it from was her sister in law) she was now asking me for payments to pay her back. Even tho I had no idea where it was being paid from or who and I couldn't cancel it myself because I didn't have the card number. do I owe her the money? Or does the friend I bought it from? |
Question: Can the sound of Italian ice cause someone physically pain? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 10:31 AM PDT I am just wondering because whenever I use a spoon to scrape the Italian ice so I can eat it so complains that it causes physically pain to her, even if she is in a different room with the door closed. Do you think she is telling the truth? Or is she just being a drama queen? I don't see how I'm suppose to have Italian ice if she is really this sensitive. |
Question: Was this a subtle slap in my face? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 09:20 AM PDT So my ex friend and I use to be friends but we got into a few bad fights and don't talk to each other anymore. Anyways I am Russian descent and my friend knows that. Well a few weeks ago she went on vacation to Russia and posted some pictures of her trip and wrote in a comment, "met the kindest Russians ever here in Moscow, I wish I knew Russians back home in America." And she posted it on her Facebook status. I felt she was implying to me and subtly insulting me through the computer. What do you think? |
Question: When a woman acts this way around a guy, could she want to date him? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 09:06 AM PDT If she compliments his shirt, asks him if he drinks, if he has a girlfriend, and if he wants kids. |
Question: Would you go on a trip with people you are skeptical of? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 08:29 AM PDT Okay so I'm in this program with people from all over the United States. It's been about a month since I've known these people. This experience has been amazing, however, I do find myself losing myself. I don't know whether I'm pushing myself out my comfort zone or not being myself. I'm usually an introvert, everything I find fun is usually small and intimate. Since coming to this internship on the west coast, I've been partying, drinking, and dressing completely different(never wore heels before!). Some things I enjoy and somethings make me think, why did I do that? I've been with this friend group who two of the girls know eachother since middle school and me and another are new to the program. We went on a trip last week which was fun, however, I felt super anxious trying to live up to their "flashy lifestyle" ( we are college students/post undergraduates but they know a lot of people and date guys with money). They don't treat me wrong per se, however, I feel like I have to blend into their image. One girl who didn't fit it on our last trip, was gossiped about the entire time and not invited to this new trip. I'm working on self love, however, I want to fully enjoy this experience. I was invited to Vegas next weekend and I said yes. I'm immediately regretting my swift compliance. I don't know if I'm paranoid and should push myself to enjoy life(at 21 I never really done a lot ) or if this trip is bad news. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety if this helps any. |
Question: The guy sitting behind my friend said “i look like i wanted my friend”? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 07:29 AM PDT Today i walked in class and sat beside my best friend. And we talked for about five minutes and i told her i was planning a birthday party for myself soon. I got up and eventually moved to another seat, So after school she told me the guy that was behind her today said "the way your friend was looking at you i think she wanted you, she looked like she was gay" |
Question: Why do people think I am mysterious? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 06:43 AM PDT I am a university student who does not have many friends. A friend of mine told me that I am actually famous in class. People say that I am mysterious. |
Question: Why do I feel bad? Friend question? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 03:27 AM PDT so me and my friend FaceTime almost every day and their leaving for a trip soon. I called yesterday but got no response or no message of awknoldgent towards the call and that was at 8:53pm I sent a regular text to my friend going along with the situation she was in and did get a response to that but none to my FaceTime call. I feel bad that I didn't get a chance to talk on the phone but why? and why couldn't my friend mention it? does FaceTime always go through? |
Question: What do I do ab a mean dude? Posted: 18 Jul 2018 03:06 AM PDT I made a post ab this earlier so if you want to read that go ahead. anyway so the guy that I talked about is trying to break up my friendship with my best friend. He's tlakjnf bad ab me to her and asking why she's even friends with me. idk what to do, he's just hurting me at this point. he won't stop |
Question: Does culture shock exist in relationships? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 10:30 PM PDT So Im an American. I was born in raised in New York. At 22 I moved down south and met this girl at college. She happens to be from Peru. She moved to the states 3 years ago. I noticed that even though me and her get along really well. I still feel there is some customs that are off. Is this normal? Weve been talking for like 6 months now. Obviously her first language is Spanish. And I feel that also plays a part since I can't speak any Spanish |
Question: Why do I get excited when he comes over? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 10:19 PM PDT My best friend came over the other day and when he came in the door I got really excited. He walked around the breakfast nook and put his arms around me. He lightly kissed the top of my head and asked me how I was and I responded with great now that you're here. He smiled and leaned over to kiss me on my cheek. Joking with him I said when are you going to kiss me like you kiss those other girls huh. He slid off the chair and whispered in my ear Anytime you want me too. There has been other times I get so excited to see him that I literally can't control myself and jump in his arms for a hug. When he's gone for road trips for work and comes home I get even more excited and can't wait to be with him. Even though he's gone for 10 days sometimes, I like it when he will go out of his way to come over to just chill out with me. Why is this happening? What should I do? We do share a small peck of kisses but not fully make out or he'll kiss me on the forehead, cheek or on the side of my head. Why do I get excited to see him like I do? |
Question: Do you have any suggestion? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 09:47 PM PDT I can't refuse an invitation from somebody(friends or friends I'm not close with,). ex:let's eat out for lunch or diner, go to shopping, driving, grab a beer and so on. I really don't wanna go because tired that I am being with people. |
Question: I lost 2 good friends over a meme I posted. Please help!? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 09:47 PM PDT So, on Mother's Day, I jokingly reposted a meme that argued about how having a pet doesn't make you a parent. I said something about how I was a "mom" to my 3 cats and that upset a couple of my friends who were moms. One of which I'd been friends with since 5th grade! We're 28 now. I've been there for her kids' birthday parties and when they were in the hospital. I've been there for every bad breakup and every big milestone in my friends' lives. I'm always such a good friend. I just can't believe that ONE meme taken out of context would end a friendship when everything else was going so well! I've apologized. I've self reflected and understood how what I said was wrong. I even broke down one of my comments that really upset them. Basically, they thought I was saying that the life of a child is equivalent to a pet. What I actually said was that someone who's a parent and their life has no more value than someone who isn't a parent. I have people who depend on me, too. I work in social services. I have other friends and family. Just because I don't have kids doesn't make it any less of a tragedy if something were to happen to me. How do I get my friends back? I know I was wrong, but they're not even listening to me or my point and it's like every good thing I did went out the window due to one joke taken out of context. |
Question: Is it funny to ask a very quiet classmate if he knows how to speak? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 09:25 PM PDT |
Posted: 17 Jul 2018 09:20 PM PDT I'm a relatively intelligent person, but in comparison to people at my school I'm extremely intelligent. For all of middle school, I have struggled maintaining friendships, as the people I ate lunch with were much stupider than myself, which made it hard for me to connect with them, or enjoy my time. Now that I'm going into highschool, I worry I won't make friends with like minds-whom I actually enjoy being around. Unfortunately it seems as though my only choice is to suffer through the befriendment of mediocre idiots (as that's all I'm offered). Any advice on how to be more talkative and not to over analyze everything? I over analyze EVERYTHING, including things as little as the way I move my arms when I walk, making me seem extremely akward, which I wouldn't consider myself to be around the few people I come to like. Also, my humor is dark and offensive, which makes it even harder for me to find friends because most people still laugh at shitty vines from 2014. |
Question: How do I get more liked? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 08:05 PM PDT I honestly feel like I should be a liked guy, I m real easy to talk to, loyal and joke when I have the best opportunity. My problem is that nobody gIves me a chance, to be popular you have to be attractive or hit pubertly so early that you looked older in like 7th grade, I hit puberty around 8th and I m not too attractive, I ve had multiple rumors and such and a lot of fake friends, as a new grade is coming up how do I get a fresh start? |
Question: What do you call a girl who manhandles a guy? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 07:56 PM PDT What do you call a girl who manhandles a guy?? |
Question: Why would my friends never ask me to hangout with them? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 07:48 PM PDT I haven't seemed to have the best luck with a solid friend group in a while (since high school). And now that I've been going to community college, I haven't been able to make any friends there. (Except acquaintances). But when I did have my high school friend group, I only got asked to hangout with the group once. But if I wanted to make plans with people, I always had to ask them myself. They would never ask first. But they would always accept the plan to hang out if I asked. Do any of you know why this happened? I've always been quiet/shy when start hanging out with new people. Why is it I always have to ask people to hangout, and never the other way around? Thanks in advance, and any advice would be appreciated. P.S We would always have a great time, and my friends back then were always a really nice group. I just don't know what happened...I guess. Anyway thanks in advance. |
Question: Is it bad that I don't like my friend's parents? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 07:27 PM PDT I love my friend, but her parents are rich and snooty and always act like they are better than everyone else. I just really don't like them but I feel like it is wrong to not like them, and still be her friend. What do you think? |
Question: Why boys hit on my friend yet talk to me? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:36 PM PDT I have guys that talk to me but tell me they like my friend. But when I try to hook them up with my friend they refuse, which confuses me. The guys who do end up talking to my friend either stare at me, try to talk to me which also confuses me. I'm trying to figure out if they really like my friend or are they pretending to to feel me out to see if I like them? I have been told I'm unapproacble and initimdating to talk to. |
Question: Was he being fake to me? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:32 PM PDT This guy has been pursuing me for months and asked me to be his gf few days ago even though I didn't give him an answer. We were working out together and he asked me to hold his phone, then a text came from a girl saying "sweet dreams <3"I asked him who it was he said a friend then I asked him to unlock the phone but he didn't, and said it should come to that. I walked out he didn't run after me right away, but he came out a few minutes later. Anyway he says it's his ex gf and they've been broken up for over a year. I said he should have blocked her if he wasnt interested. The following day he got a new number so she couldn't get a hold of him. We met up and talked his eyes were teary he said I was his #1 priority, he's been putting me first everyday, spending time with me everyday and texting me. He claims he hasn't talked to her in months and that she's a master manipulator. He was there whenever I asked him to do anything, he made me soup when i was sick, brought me food when i was studying, made my birthday very special with coach purse and wallet and nice dinner. Could what he's saying be true? he said she doesn't matter to him and all she wants is a response etc. I asked for the text logs and he refused to show me them the following day saying I dont even consider him a viable option for a bf so why should he flipping it around on me. SO why shower me with all this and make me his priority like he said? He said congratulations you got what you wanted I"m out of your lif Why did he stop coming to the gym? Do you think he's giving me space? Will he reach out to me again? |
Question: I have a friend that posts omorashi (pee fetish) vids to tumblr.? Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:30 PM PDT He always has clothes or underwear on but wouldn t it still be considered child porn because people get off on it? We live in Wisconsin but a lot of people have seen the videos because he was cosplaying and the voice actors of the show got ahold of the video. Only me and my close friend know of this secret tumblr (of his family and irl friends) and him being underage. If it is considered child porn I would like to know so that I can report his blog and have it taken down. |
Posted: 17 Jul 2018 06:14 PM PDT Either way I m pretty upset, yeah its true I m a homebody but I don t feel like thats a cool thing to say. It basically insinuates me being a loser/having no life. |
