Posted: 03 Dec 2017 09:33 PM PST So I am having a very hard time and everyone keeps on putting me down. I am trying to get set up to a vietnamese woman in vietnam by my relatives in vietnam and these women are giving me a hard time. They won't give me a straight answer as to whether they want to marry me or not. They said they are not even sure if they want to meet me.They said they will decide when they meet me. One even said that she isn't even thinking about marriage right now and wants to focus on my career. I told people about my frustrations and people put me down. Everyone is telling me that I am being controlling and says that is why none of these women want to marry me because I am a jerk and is unconsiderate and forcing them to marry me. They said just face it no woman in vietnam wants to marry you and your going to be forever alone. I am so angry as I want some support from people and no one is giving it to me. Everyone is just making me more and more miserable instead. Why do people think that no woman in vietnam wants to marry me based on what I have said about the situation ? Why do people think that I am being unconsiderate and controlling ? Would any of these women meet me ?

Question: Anyone here end up marrying one of their teachers from high school? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 04:56 PM PST I'm legitimately curious. I'm sure it's probably happened. We hear all these stories about teachers raping students and so forth...
Posted: 03 Dec 2017 04:46 PM PST Our kids (ages 11 and 10) were invited to go into the bed of our friends' pickup to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Even though it's residential streets, I am uncomfortable with it. First, it's illegal in CA (no seat belts), plus I don't trust other drivers. My wife says I am depriving our kids of a fun time, Thoughts? Our kids (ages 11 and 10) were invited to go into the bed of our friends' pickup to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Even though it's residential streets, I am uncomfortable with it. First, it's illegal in CA (no seat belts), plus I don't trust other drivers, who may be speeding or distracted by those same lights. My wife says I am depriving our kids of a fun time, Thoughts? I guess I can't redo what I type originally, only add to it, sorry for the duplicate. I know nothing in this world is 100% safe, people get killed in car accidents all the time, but there are seat belt laws for a REASON. Maybe I am being a little over protective, but I'd rather be safe and sorry, and I feel I am not being unreasonable, but not sure how to handle this disagreement, there's no way to compromise here, either the kids go or they don't.

Question: My husband is good in so many ways, but does not listen to my opinion? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 03:22 PM PST I think I have kind of married my dad.Who sadly died last year, he was loving and caring but totally controlling with me and my sister. I guess my husband is the same, he loves me, he looks after me, but seems to ignore my opinions, even in the bedroom, its like I am a non person.(well yes darling, you really do want it) even if I dont. Stop touching me I feel like ****(but darling, you love it really), slap (me) *****!(him), and so on not just in the bedroom but all over the marriage.Christ, I am 49.He has been a star looking after my mother, after my father died, he supports me financially( I hate this, but have social phobia which I am working on) I cannot get through to him, but also feel guilty, he wonders why I drink. It is because I am angry. I feel like leaving.........advice,only serious and from those with experience please.
Question: If you waiting till marriage and you did or did not regret it why? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 03:01 PM PST I want to wait till marriage and some people not to but I want to anyways I have seen happy couples wait and they said they're happy and some have different opinions, but I'm just curious was it really the sex or was it something deeper because when you get married it's not just about the sex

Question: Why am I never in the mood to be intimate? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 02:19 PM PST The past few months I have absolutely no sex drive. I don't get it..I'm 25 and my husband and I have a wonderful relationship but I'm just never in the mood.. I eat healthy, I don't take any medications. I do drink pretty regularly..maybe that could be a cause? In any case, I feel really bad for my husband and I know he can tell I lack interest and I don't want him to think it's his fault. Any advice?

Question: Should I give him an ultimatum? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 11:53 AM PST I ve been in a relationship with a man who has had a troubling past similar to my own with a life changing drug addiction. His addiction sent him to prison and ruined his life. We both sobered up before we met each other but at that time we knew nothing, but slowly learning how to be responsible and drug-free. We worked our way up from homelessness and poverty to security and stability. We have since had a baby together and are engaged to be married. It has taken a lot of work to get here. Well, he s been on probation this entire time up until last week. He is now planning to smoke weed and says nothing I say will change his mind. I m upset as I thought I was in a drug free relationship that would stay that way... safe and healthy. He is upset at me for "making him feel guilty" and he s telling me that it s not heroin so I shouldn t be worried. To me, drugs are drugs and they aren t welcome in my life. I guess, to him, we re not worth staying sober for. What do I do? Wait to see what happens or leave before it starts? Make him choose or accept my new reality and stay?
Posted: 03 Dec 2017 11:27 AM PST So I believe that before anyone can ask anyone to marry them, the one doing the asking should first ask the parents of the S.O for their hand in marriage. This way, all parties know what is going on should he (or she) pop the question. If the man I love did not ask my parents for their approval in my marriage and I find out, I would feel very hurt. I donno why, it just would hurt my feelings that my parents weren't included and had no way of talking their grievances out with my husband or fiancé before the proposal. Is this feeling wrong?

Question: Buying a house before marriage? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 09:52 AM PST I will be getting married to a wonderful man who already owns a home. My parents are telling me I should by a home for myself even if i won't be living in it. Our plans are to move in with him because he owns his home. Anytime my parents suggest me buying a house before getting married I can't help but think they are already seeing divorce in the future. Do you think they are in the right in me buying a home before marriage ( which won't be used by me or soon to be husband)?

Question: Divorce and legal advice.? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 08:36 AM PST My step dad and step mom are getting a divorce. She gave him only 20/25 days to move. She wrote up an e-mail as an eviction notice. Is that right? Is that legal?? She says the house is only in her name... What is my step dads options? Just curious.
Question: Does this make any sense? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 07:32 AM PST I will be getting married next year to a wonderful man who already owns a home. My parents are telling me that I should own a home before I get married, even if I will be moving in with him. They say I will regret it later if I don't. Can someone explain that to me?!??

Question: How do I get my husband to not talk so much with the housemaid? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 12:51 AM PST My family and I are courteous with our maid. We treat her like a family member although my elder daughter doesn t really talk to her that much and they re relation isn t amazing. We all talk with her if needed, but my husband just makes jokes on purpose, trying to make her laugh etc and he tries to be silly in front of her. This makes her feel like we don t have any strict rules and now she s started bluntly saying she won t do a certain shore. I m sure it s because of my husband s silly attitude. When she s gone on holiday or something he s never like that. He just doesn t seem to get the fact that men don t really need to talk to the maids so how can I persuade him?
Question: What should I say to my husband who does not like to take me anywhere? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 12:44 AM PST My husband never likes to go anywhere. weekend after weekend we sit at home, watch a movie on netflix and go to bed at 930. I don't need much, but sometimes a girl likes to put on something nice and go out. he thinks I'm wrong to expect this of him. I'm growing bored.
Question: Can a Husband and Wife fights and beat each others and still love each other? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 12:22 AM PST
Question: Wife makes no effort in the bedroom? Posted: 03 Dec 2017 12:20 AM PST We have been married for almost 6 years and we have known each other for almost 9 years. She is pregnant with our first child. I have a problem in that she prefers to watch porn to turn herself on and then get me to come in and do the acts to finish her off. She never comes to me or lets me initiate. It feels very clinical and I feel distant after she does this stuff to me. I find myself mentally pulling away and I just bury myself in my work and ignore her afterwards. Because I feel very clinical. I'm writing this right now whilst she sits in the bedroom on her laptop watching the porn and refusing to let me come near her until she has watched the porn for a while. I remember the days when we used to get excited by each other and make the effort. Those days are long gone. She never listens despite how many times I've complained and showed disinterest in her after she suggests the porn. And she doesn't like to watch it with me. I feel like my needs and intimacy will never be met. I'm hurting and it's driving me crazy inside. Rather than fight with her I just let her go to the room and watch whatever. I did try and make a move but she told me to come out to the lounge room and finish off an assignment I have been helping her with instead whilst she watches the movie. When she does this stuff, should I have a fight anf refuse to come near her or perform the acts to finish her off? When is she going to listen to me? What does it take? I'm not talking about sex. I'm talking about oral sex. She wants that but wants the videos to turn her on instead of me. I was thinking to play hard ball and tell her that if she wants me to help her, then she better get me in the mood too. That'll get her to make an effort with me. Otherwise she may as well just use the video and help herself. Bugger her!! She's not considering how I feel at all!

Question: How to check if my divorced is finalized? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 11:03 PM PST I filed my last divorce paperwork 10/26/17. they told me it would take possibly up to 2 months for the judge to sign off on it and for my divorce decree to come in the mail. I was wondering if theres any way that I can call the court and see if its already finalized as I am trying to remarry and hoping to by the end of this month. I live in CA.
Question: Have you ever been divorced? If so why? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 10:47 PM PST My husband & I argue a lot about our families, he doesn't like my family & I don't like his. (We both have reasons) my mom can't see eye to eye with him, & his siblings never have anything nice to say to me they hate me. For family gatherings he shows up alone to his functions & I show up alone for my family's functions. I don't mind the seperation I learned to accept it & I told my husband that as long as we love each other it shouldn't matter. Not all families are perfect. He seems to have a really hard time with accepting it, and tries to always talk me into going over but I finally put my foot down, after putting up with it for years. It's been 8 months that I don't come around, he hasn't came around my family in 2 years. He's taking it really hard that I finally said NO I'm not going over anymore, (he had Tried talking to his family about their behavior) & it only got worst, I can't take his families rude comments. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm terrified to divorce over extended family. Been together for over 8 years :-(
Question: Why does my husband treat our youngest child better than the other's? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:57 PM PST We have a 5 year old daughter who is totally spoiled by him I'm not jealous of my own child but my husband totally spoils her even when she acts likes a brat whenever I yell at her tell her not to do something my husband gets mad at me instead. It's odd because he is harder on all our other kids who are between the ages of 12-7. But I think the reason he spoils her so much is because she is a redhead the reason I say this is because my husband said he had a thing for redheads and he said the one of the reason he likes me is because I'm a redhead. What do you think
Question: Should I send a card to my mother-in-law? Posted: 02 Dec 2017 09:39 PM PST My mother-in-law hates me and wishes are her son never married me because I'm unable to have children with him (I have two children from a past relationship) and she feels that I'm being selfish for being with him because he deserves children. She made it very clear she doesn't like me but this is our first Christmas married and I'm sending out Christmas cards to his sister who lives next door to her from all of us including my husband who is currently deployed (he picked out which cards to send to who). But I don't know if I should sign the card that he picked out from her from me and the kids or just leave it as only from him I don't want to be Petty or rude to her or anything I also don't want to irritate her
