Posted: 08 Dec 2017 05:38 PM PST I'm half black half Cuban & raised Mexican (I'm adopted) one day me, her and a friend of hers were talking and she said "this black girl" and then quickly looked at me after and said "oh sorry" that's not the first time she's done that and it honestly annoys me so I asked why she does that and she said because saying black is offensive. I told her no it's not because I am half black and to me it's not offensive and when she says that it makes me uncomfortable but she said "no, Black is a mean word. I would never call you my black friend I would call you my dark friend" & I told her that her calling me dark and not black is more offensive to me than saying black. I just want to know if I'm wrong I guess but it annoys me so much and it irritates me. I don't know how to get her to stop. Am I overreacting? |

He gets out and proceeds to shout at me claiming that a car just like mine was stealing mail around the neighborhood and that he was chasing me when he lost me. My immediate response is he must be on drugs cause I've been at the park for hours. He then grabs a bat and threatens to beat me up with it unless I say it wasn't me. So I'm about to call the cops when he gets back in his car so I stop. A few seconds later, he gets out and proceeds to apologize saying he had the wrong car and wanting to show me the video which I refused. It kinda seemed a little too rehearsed the way he went from angrily accusing me to being so apologetic. So do you think this guy was crazy (on drugs) or just pranking me? And would you have called the cops still? |

Shed play with her hair, tells me she loves me, laughs at my jokes and compliments me.she started confusing in me about her personal secrets. She always used to say "let's go out together after work." We did and became close. We began holding hands with intertwined fingers, cuddle in bed while we sleep, on the couch, in the car. She asks me to lay on her lap and strokes my hair and forehead,offers to give me head massages.She stares and smirks at me.She says "i know you love me. Where's my kiss?". We play fight, she bites my cheeks, jaw, hands. She teases me about guys who like me. She asked me if I like someone. I said no. She replied "I think I've a crush on you.Is it weird?" She tells me she feels safe and protected with me and asks me to spend the nights with her(before her parents wake up). The other day she cuddled me in her arms (with my forehead touching her jaw and my head on her chest) and before I had to go she kissed my forehead. I asked what was that for, she replied because I love you. She then kissed my nose and giggled, and said where's my kiss. I kissed her cheek and she led me out and asked me to come again. But my "friend" is making it harder. I started an animated series on my channel. After I posted Episode 1, my friend told me that he wanted to do the voice of one of the minor characters, so I said yes. He sent me the voice-over in about a week and I now have Episode 2 posted now, which features him. Now, his character is still alive, so of course, he has to do the voice-over for the next episode, right? Well it's been 3 months, and he still hasn't done the voice-over and sent it to me. Literally all he has to do is read a short script, probably taking 10 minutes MAX. But he keeps making up excuses about why he's too busy and can't record it. Funny thing is, he runs a meme page and has a podcast, so there is no way he doesn't have 10 extra minutes to do this for me. At first I was patient and gave him months without complaining. But now I have to persist, because patience isn't working. I have been reminding him every day for a week, but he just pretends it's a joke and will not at any cost take me seriously. He keeps saying that he WILL do it, but back in October, he said he'd do it before Halloween... It's almost Christmas now. He is jeopardizing the future of the biggest series on my channel. If I get someone else to do the voice for his character, people will wonder why it now sounds so different. He is already in Episode 2 which is up on my channel. He either has to do this, or my series ends forever. Help. |

She told all everyone in my old friend group a twisted story to make her sound right and turned all of them against me. The only reason they didn't know my side is because I chose to keep the issue private between me and her. I know this means my old friends weren't real. I made it clear and told them I wasn't willing to take their bull**** anymore, and the only person this was mainly targeted at completely ignored the texts, as expected. She's been talking behind my back, twisting my story to new students, calling me a b**** when I know I NEVER did anything bad to her. She acts so oblivious and pretends to be an angel to others. She told my old friends that me and my boyfriend were never going to last, and I'd come running back to her like a dog. This bothers me so much because I've NEVER been involved in drama like this. She knows I am not the type to take disrespect like this, and knows I'm stronger than her mentally and physically. She knows she'd never dare say this to my face. SO, I have this ex-boyfriend named Aaron and we started becoming friends again recently, and Aaron made a fake account pretending to be a "friend" of himself. Asking me questions like, "Do you have feelings for any of your male friends?" I thought, "oh, maybe he still has feelings for me and is jealous of my friends." BUT Eventually, he tells me on this fake account, "yeah he told me he's still madly in love with you." I confronted him about this on his real account, and he denied it, "Oh, I don't love you anymore. That's a lie." I was so embarrassed... I thought I was wrong, and that it really was his friend messaging me on this fake account, even though when this fake account would log out, Aaron's account would go online right after, and he knew information only Aaron would know... It made no sense. I decided to track his IP. Aaron and the fake account was the same IP, and Aaron lives alone. SO, the fake account is him. but he is denying loving me as his real self while revealing his "true feelings" on his fake one??? He said, "why would I mess with your head like that. I don't love you" ?????????? I am actually so angry??? I don't understand what the motive is? |

Well I was stopped at a stop sign and carefully watching these little kids that were walking next to my car so when my turn came to go I wasn't fully paying attention to anything but those kids. I wasn't very far before a family friend (coincidence) flew right in front of me from the the right side. Luckily I stopped but my brother who's 13 and was in the car with me started to scream at me to pay attention. That freaked me out even more and now I'm incredibly embarrassed but don't know if I should be or not. I don't think the family friend saw it was me but I'm still so embarrassed. I also noticed when I got home that someone had written the b word on my car (hopefully a friend) and I had just driven by a crowd of people (for a sendoff) parked along side of the road. I needed a place to stay that is as cheap as possible. A fellow student told me to check out a place that might let me trade off work for a place to stay. I was met by 2 fairly attractive women who looked to me to be in their early 40s. They showed me the room in their home and it was great. For free rent I had to do several things. I had to keep the yard mowed. This would be no problem for me. They told me they were both gay and asked if I had a problem with that. I told them no problem. I was not gay but it was fine with me it they were. They told me I would see them in various states of being undressed around the house. Some times they would have no clothes on. I told them that also was fine with me. I could not imagine how any straight male would object to seeing women with out any cloths on even if they were gay. The last condition for the room was that a few times a year they needed a male escort to the country club for dinner and parties. They said they would pay for everything. This seemed like a great deal for me so I plan to move in next week. Am I getting in over my head? Is there some problem I have not thought of? Any advice would be appreciated |

We do the same sports, and he lives near me so I drive him home from practice every day. The thing is, he's extremely annoying. He always comes up to me and asks random questions, touches my stuff, and never stops talking. He follows me and my other senior friends around at practice and sometimes in school. He somehow figured out my entire schedule too. I don't want to be mean to him because he doesn't have a lot of friends, but I also don't him to think that we are close friends. He invites me to go out and do stuff, and then asks me to drive him everywhere. I usually politely decline, but he never stops asking. It has become such a nuisance because he doesn't understand that I don't want to hang out with him. He also has the maturity of a 12 year old. However he smokes a LOT. Just cigarettes but he does and when I go to his place I inhale that cra* too. Most people when they smoke in their houses do that outside. He doesn't. His wife doesn't seem to be bothered by that but I am. I mean,I don't like smoke and it's so bad for your heallth. Sometimes I just ditch him just cause I don't want to inhale smoke. Passive smoking is dangerous. That being said I don't know what to do because we can't go to my house because my wife doesn't want someone who smokes there and we've got 2 little kids so she might get angry if someone smokes. My friend smokes like 2-3 sigarettes in an hour. I thought about asking him not to smoke when I'm there but it's his house. So what would you guys do? I figured it was ambitious but she's never really traveled & I thought it'd be a different, exciting present. She surprised me a little & jumped at it...she chose Hawaii as her first trip. My dad was with the airlines so flying is how I got around but this will be her first. I know she's gonna love it. And...yeah, I love her. I'm a pretty quiet, easy going person and I guess that makes people think they can talk to me about anything. This woman has nothing good to say about anyone in this office. She calls me and another friends. So she will just rant to us about all the bad days and personal situations. She also talks A LOT of crap about coworkers of ours. That's fine. However, when she is in the office with these people, instead of simply being cordial to them, she over does it! She dislikes them so much, but will always get involved in their conversations, tell them she loves them, decorates and put a lot of work into things like their birthdays/baby showers/engagement parties, etc. One day she's telling me how a woman who recently got moved up was simply put there bc of her looks. She felt she should have been offered that position, but was not. Until yesterday, all she did was put this woman down, complain about her and say how horrible she was at her job. Well, now, she loves her and is getting her a Christmas present that we all need to go to lunch for to exchange! This woman is bipolar or something! I want to get away from her. If she can talk so much crap about others and be so fake to their faces, it makes me wonder what she tells them about me.I just want her to stop acting like we're close friends and stop asking me to do things with her or feel I'm the person to come talk about other employees to. All my friends always ask me why i keep everything to myself and never share my problems and the thing is, whenever i try to, they just dismiss me or act as if they dknt care AT ALL. Sometimes there indifference towards me actually surprises me, considering im always there for them and everyone seems to trust me with their problems for some reason but when moment comes for me to share things people either ignore me, dont care, or simply screw me over with this information. Im really tired of it. My friends are supposed to be there for me, at the moment i really dont have anyone i can trust, my best guy friend whom i used to tell stuff screwed me over not once, not twice but three ******* times. Were still friends but ive made it clear that i no longer trust him and he seems to not care about that. I live with the love of my life, make salary, already finished my masters degree and have been to 10 countries and countless concerts. However, i have so much trouble finding friends who understand me and dont have anyone but my boyfriend to talk to. This sounds crazy, but its like Im too many people in one person to be friends with anyone. I like to party, play music, longboard, go to concerts, take drugs recreationally, read long novels, play video games, keep my house decorated amazingly, dress fashionably and much more. Im like a tom boy and a girly girl all wrapped in one just depending on how i feel that day. Im basicially just a hedonist and if its pleasureable, i know something about it. On one hand im responsible and have a good start on my career, and on the other hand i love drugs and getting wild. Mature resposnible people find my drug use scary and drug users always get jealous on how i have a nice clean home, nice car and have put a lot of work into my career. I just wish i had friends and didnt feel so alone all the time. I know everyone is unique and feels like no one else is like them at times, but i have it really bad as no one is even remotely like me. |

They've been calling me selfish for so long they don't even acknowledge what I do do for them. But my friends see me as a pretty decent person. I'm probably giving myself too much self serving bias and not realizing that I am worse than I think but I don't feel like I'm a bad person. How do I change my behavior to make my family see this? |

I work at an airline & for a gift I gave her my designated friend spot on my flight benefits. I cleared the idea with her parents & they're all for it. I figured it was ambitious but she's barely traveled & thought it'd be a unique, fun thing for her. She surprised me a little & jumped at it...she chose Hawaii as her first trip. My dad was with the airlines so flying is how I got around but this will be her first plane ride. I'm beyond excited though, I know she's gonna love it. Impressing her is pretty paramount not just cuz it's a first but...yes, I love her. I'm pretty sure she's less than oblivious to that, I haven't exactly been subtle. I guess I'm just curious about suggestions, how I can make it as unforgettable as possible. I'm hoping this is a spring board to future trips & more of us together. |

She forced herself on top me over the summer when I was drunk, she began to pull my pants down. but I threw her off, I was drunk, but not drunk to know that I wasn't okay with what was happening. She then tried to cover herself by saying I think rape is funny and I think it's funny she was "raped" even though that's literally what she tried to do to me! Her friend sent me death threats and I've been cutting. I have friends who know her ways but people have been harassing me and I don't know what to do. I tried to tell the office what she did and said "Since it's not direct and the student doesn't go here we can't do anything about it..." My friends are mad at her, I told a counselor about the sex situation and said it'll be really hard to do anything since it happened 6 months ago. It's like just because I'm a guy I can't be raped or sexually assaulted and the staff's looking at me like I could've done something. I'm scared, I'm in pain, I don't know what to do... I had to sign a no-harm contract... My friends have been supporting me but can someone help me, I am so grateful for my friends but the one thing they can't do is make what happened last summer go away. Please... somebody help me... Beginning of freshman year I used yahoo answers a bit and it helped alot so I'm back. I made so many friends freshman year, but I decided to take classes that I knew was going to be hard, but all my friends I made are all in standard so I don't see them anymore. My life sucks now I feel like that same middle school loser. Everyone's grown so much over the summer and I don't think I can handle it. I feel like a child and that I haven't changed since freshman year. I used to talk about drugs and girls all the time, but now I just feel like everyone's so intense about it and that I don't belong. I made 2 of the best friends I could ask for in freshman year, and now I don't even know whats happening in their lives. I feel abandoned, left, and trapped as if everyone forgot about who i am. I seriously wish i could go back to freshman year so much. i dont think i can handle the way my life is anymore. I know i need to make new friends in my classes, and i just feel so shy. I have people who i've met at parties in my classes who try to be really good friends but i keep rejecting them. Out of school, I go to the gym, I have a baby on the way, but no male friend in my life to talk to or bond with. My brothers don't talk to me at all, unless they need a ride somewhere. My step-dad is out of my life. (Divorce) My biological father left when I was 2, and passed away when I was 14. I have someone that would be my friend instantly. However, my girlfriend doesn't approve of him, because we did drugs in the past together. (I haven't done any drugs, or drank alcohol for a very long time.) My girl and I have been together for 2 years now. He was my friend for 11 years, the only one that understood me. I'm scared to make new friends. I'm a very difficult person to understand, and not many people my age really care about an emotional guy at times. But he did. He helped me through many situations. But if I talk to him, she says she will leave me. I grew up without a father, and I cannot have to happen to my child. But I really need a male friend in my life to talk to, workout with, and just talk and hangout in general. But I can't lose her, because I'd simply prefer if we weren't that couple that has custody battles. I'm having issues with depression without this male figure. I'm having many issues as of now. | Question: Why do teens look and act younger than before? Posted: 07 Dec 2017 10:49 PM PST 17-18 year olds used to look like young adults a few years ago. Now I mistake some high school seniors for being in 9th or 10th grade. Over the last few years, kids tried growing up TOO fast because of the media. Now it's starting to slow down, and they don't try as hard to look older anymore. What some 18 year olds like would be equivalent to what some 12 year olds liked back then. I still see teenagers who look old, but usually because they're very tall. There's less young girls with a face full of makeup, having boyfriends at younger ages, and being an "adult". Same for boys. |

His friend (M) has a girlfriend(E) who decided to move in since she was staying there anyway. She & I became very good friends. I give money for when I use things ay raise a bill, I admit I stay there quite a bit myself. Im 21 & I live with my parents still, I debated moving in when E moved in but my bf & I decided we didnt want to move in too quickly together. E has been stepping out of her place a bit & I think it has to do with the fact that her bf owns the house so she might be thinking its "their" house. I buy groceries, clean. give money & help my bf with laundry so i dont try to freeload but my bf over heard E talking with her bf about how im here just as much as she is if not more & dont pay rent(even though for the first year she wasnt paying anything either) I talked with her bf & offered to pay more & he didnt want more money from me. Today I decided to quickly do a small load of laundry before I went home & texted E asking her a question & she bluntly responded back with "doesn't your mom have a washer and dryer at her house?" Its clearly getting on her nerves that Im there now & it makes me upset that shes so rude considering shes 24 with no license or car & her bf drives her everywhere. I stay away for a bit when I feel tension but Its like I come back for 1 night & she acts like shes mad all night around us all. so am i in the wrong to go over there or is she out of line? Also to note: My bf works long shifts so spending a couple of days with him is a nice way to get to see each other and to get out of my parents house since I dont have a great relationship with them, until I have saved enough to have a place of my own, so please dont be rude |

There are about 10 regular users and occasionally a new user in the chat (like me, I was new). Everything was going good and I was getting to know users somewhat. I know online chats are not real life but it really was fun. Then one user accused me of being the alternate account of a user he hates, and from there stuff kind of went downhill. Another user who I was previously very friendly with started ignoring me basically. Then a few weeks ago 2 users who I really liked stopped visiting the chat. Finally recently I have started to be consistently insulted/harrassed by one user in particular. And no one tells them to stop. I know this is just an online chat, and I do have other things to focus on IRL, but I feel like I got backstabbed in this chat and that there is a lot of drama. Is this kind of thing common? |

I don't now, I never really have. I've had some acquaintances throughout my life, but they've all left and moved on. In fact, I don't really think that I want friends.
